We recently had a good meal at Sabaidee! Great variety on the menu, and we tried a few dishes that we don't typically order- the Kua Gai noodles and honey duck. Both were solid! We were intrigued when we saw crispy chicken as a protein option, so we ordered it. It was pretty much just cut up chicken tenders, I guess that's on us but it wasn't what we were expecting. It was tasty but we weren't sure if that was actually made in-house. Some of the boba in our teas were too firm in the middle, not soft and chewy like they're supposed to be. Otherwise everything was good. The food came out quickly and our server was attentive. Nice dining room, but we did get hit with the smell of marijuana when we first walked in which was a bit off putting.

I went to Sabaidee Thai for lunch today and had a great experience! Here's the scoop on this local Thai restaurant: Parking is available in a lot right next to the building. If you're going in the afternoon, keep in mind that during the week, they close for an hour from 3-4PM between dinner and lunch time (lunch is 11AM-3PM, and dinner 4-9PM). I went around 2PM and was the only one there. To drink I ordered the Thai Ice Tea, which was amazing! You can get it with or without the boba (bubbles), but I chose to get it with them. For an appetizer I got the Vegetable Spring Rolls, which came with a sweet chili sauce. These were pretty good, basically just the standard spring rolls you'd get at most Thai places. For my main meal, I ordered the lunch-portion of the Chicken Pad Thai, which came with a choice of soup or salad. I chose the Tofu Soup with white rice, and this was delicious! The Chicken Pad Thai was really good, but just a little heavy on the sauce... Otherwise it tasted great! Even though I was stuffed by this time, I tried the Fried Bananas for dessert, which came with a chocolate dipping sauce. These were excellent! Overall I thought the food was really good, the service was quick, and the staff member who served me was very friendly. The inside was clean and nicely decorated. I would recommend!

We did take out from here tonight! As usual, it doesn't disappoint Massaman Curry- asked for level 4 out of 5 heat, it was spicy but think they were holding back!! Pineapple rice with chicken had amazing flavor Drunken noodle, again had a little heat but was definitely hoping for more. The flavors are really on point so I wasn't disappointed.. Looking forward to another visit

This is our local "go-too" for Thai food in bristol. The ambience: typical Thai decorated resturante with lots of seating. The rounded corner tables are our favorites for lots of friend and parties. The food is fresh and tasty. My fav is the Chicken Pad Thai (spicy) or drunken noodle My wife likes the Tom Kai Soup (very rich with coconut and basil flavors) Daughter Always gets this HUGE bowl of PHO with meats and veggies and sauces. Pricing is $$$ of $$$$$ Not too pricey.. not cheap. Food is served fast and worth the trip for a nice sit down meal.

Excellent customer service, clean and quaint interior. I had a delicious Massaman shrimp curry that was very well prepared - a savory broth and plenty of shrimp. It's my favorite Thai food and my only criticism would be too many onions - otherwise I loved it. We tried the Ka nom tuy for dessert and it was a nice treat - not too sweet - and warm like a custard - I would recommend!

Not a bad place for quick lunch. I got the pad Thai lunch special with a salad crispy spring roll and a bubble tea. The pad Thai flavor was good but too much sauce. The salad was good. I'm still not used to bubble teas. It's only my second and I didn't really care for this one. This is good for a quick lunch to grab and go.

It seems most people get take out from here which makes sense because the atmosphere of this place isn't the most welcoming. The environment just makes it feel rushed, it's not a place I'd go to sit, relax, and chit chat for a while, its more of an get in and get out vibe. I got the drunken noodles with chicken which were actually quite good. My date got the Pad Thai and it tasted like putty/playdoh, definitely would not recommend it. The menu is very large so I'm sure there are other good things on the menu but Pad Thai is not recommended.

This is probably my new favorite Thai Restaurant. The people here are so nice, friendly, inviting, hard working, genuinely amazing staff. From what I observed, many locals that constantly get take-out out here know the staff by name. You don't usually see things like that anymore and it's amazing to see such a community oriented Thai Restaurant. All Thai restaurants just have amazing and friendly workers but Sabaidee over here, I witnessed it one after another and then myself. I can't get over how nice they are. On the other hand, the food. Dear God this was one of the best Drunken Noodles I have ever had. The noodles were actually spicy and has an amazing sauce that soaked the noodles and more. Even their Pho is pretty good for a Thai restaurant. They clearly have some thai flavors in their pho but I knew what to expect when ordering it here. It was as good as it could get! Their chicken wings were crispy and the sauce was more diluted but in a good way! Their Beef Kua Gai was my first and it was delicious with the noodles so delicate and the sesame oil with bean sprouts really giving me that Thai street food vibe which I absolutely loved. Can't forget the gorgeous flowers that Thai chefs always carve out for you, beautiful presentation. Everything was just amazing, even their Thai Iced Green Tea which I don't normally see at every Thai Restaurant. 10/10, 5-Star experience. Just the way our waitress waved at us through the window when we left still brings such good feelings into my heart. I felt that one...........I just wanna cry now. This place makes me happy.

Waiting for my daughter to finish up her volleyball tryouts and decided to check this establishment out. Nice place with Thai decor nicely put for the ambiance. Ordered the drunken noodles. Staff was friendly and accommodating and quick. Good family dining place. Enjoyed the clean atmosphere and space.

I was introduced to this place by a friend whose appetite is unexplainable..I ordered their Pad Thai and it was exquisite.. I brought my mom here for her Birthday and she truly enjoyed the food here. The Crab Rangoon is prolly one of the best I've ever had.. the pineapple fried rice is a favorite too.. the price is worth the food and the service is excellent.. the greeter is so friendly.. I already took some of my best mates to dine in here. Truly exceptional !

I'm a little mad at myself for not checking out Sabaidee earlier than I have. It's seriously great Thai food! I ended up having Pad Thai (which I always get whenever I try out a Thai place for the first time) with chicken and the true star of my meal last night - Tom Yum Koong - their hot and sour soup. If you're a fan of tangy-ness (is that a word??) along with some heat, you absolutely need to get this soup as a starter. Just a heads up - there are some shrimp in the soup which I don't believe was listed on the menu just in case you don't like shrimp or have an allergy. The Pad Thai was pretty good, and actually tasted better reheated the next day. You get a ton of it in your incredibly cheap serving - about 12 bucks - so unless you have a massive appetite, you'll be able to take the rest to go for a second meal. Our server (who I think was also the owner) was incredibly nice and really cared about how we enjoyed our food. I will 100% be back there very soon!

Well, this is awesome. I'm so happy there's a Thai place right in town that is AMAZING. They have daily specials for just $8 everyday, our waitress was the most personable waitress I've had- and she truly cared. I knew she cared because when my husbands curry was too hot, she brought him extra napkins and a bowl of Pho broth to help him conquer his curry crisis (while I laughed my entire butt off and continued to eat). I got the pumpkin curry with chicken, and it was awesome. The portion size is large, which is great for me because now I have lunch for tomorrow! They rate their spice level from 1-5. I can tolerate spicy, so I asked for 3. The spice was almost too much, but with the right drinks, rice:curry ratio, and pacing myself I was able to eat it without choking and grumbling (unlike my date ). My husband got the red curry and said, despite his calls to the Lord for help, it was delicious. He ate the entire thing. We will 100% be back probably bi-weekly. It's BYOB with no corking fee, so we enjoyed a few Treehouse beers (which actually paired nicely with Thai- just sayin'). If you're in the area I highly recommend this place.

"You're not a princess I'm not prince charming Speak with…read moreyour tongue, use body language And pull your skin like wrapping paper round my heart" (Graham Parker) The last time I stepped into this building was a few years ago when it was occupied by the Lemongrass Asian Grill. Today was my birthday, so my dinner spot of choice meant a return here to experience a meal at the newish Charming Thai Restaurant. And we left a few hours later agreeing that this place is fantastic. Soon after we were seated, we met Jessica, who was our principal server. She was an absolute delight with a fantastic personality. She started off with some complimentary noodles and sweet duck sauce. The menu is extensive, with most of the traditional Thai favorites, so think Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle, Fried Rices, Lo Meins, and Pad See-Ew. Other groupings include Chef Specials, Classic Entrees, Curries, and a full slate of appetizers, salads, soups, Pho, and Ramens. When you go through their menu, the various combinations of entrée and protein choices are in the 200 range. So pretty much anyone can eat their favorite Asian food here. We started off with a cup of Wonton Soup (with 6 big wontons) and a cup of Tom Kha Soup with two big shrimp at $5.99 each. The Tom Kha had a mild coconut taste, but I don't mean that in a negative way. I order this a lot, and some places really load up on the coconut flavor so much that the soup resembles a strong thick ice cream topping. Their soup was thinner than some but had enough flavor that it was fantastic. Oh, and those two plump shrimps in my bowl were perfect. We split an $8 order of six pork pot stickers, and they were cooked beautifully without a hint of grease and stuffed with a nice ground pork filling. For our main meal we split a $15.99 order of Chicken Pad Thai. We ordered it mild, but since I like spice, I asked for some extra zip on the side and Jessica brought out a cute little twin dish of Sriracha sauce and Sichuan pepper powder to ramp up the firepower. We loved the Pad Thai, it had plenty of chicken, the noodles were well cooked, and most of all it was sauced perfectly. Not too dry, not too wet, but just perfect. As we were paying our bill, the fact that it was my birthday came up, and Jessica made us promise not to leave yet because she wanted to give me something. That turned out to be a complimentary dish of sweet coconut rice with sliced mango. The portions were so generous that some of the Tom Kha and Pad Thai are now in our refrigerator for tomorrow. Thank you, Jessica, and JJ who tag-teamed us tonight, and here's a special shout-out to Lucy who made the magic happen in the kitchen. The food, the service, the value, and the atmosphere were all exceptional. If you like Thai food as much as we do, head on out to Route 4 and treat yourself to a charming dinner experience at Charming Thai.

When you enter, you walk through a boba tea and sweets area before turning the corner into the restaurant seating, which was a bit unexpected but interesting. When I arrived, I was asked to wait briefly for a group to leave before being seated since the space is very small and there wasn't enough room to pass. Once they moved, I was seated right away, which I appreciated. There were a few cleanliness and service issues that took away from the experience. The table hadn't been fully cleaned and still had spilled flower water on it, with napkins on the floor underneath. We also didn't have napkins or silverware at the table initially, so I grabbed napkins from the other side of the restaurant to wipe the table. I did mention this to the staff, but the table wasn't addressed afterward. The food was okay and had flavor, though it was fairly simple and became repetitive after a few bites. Service overall felt a bit slow, and we waited for a while before someone helped us check out. Overall, the experience was just okay. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and service, I think this place has the potential to be much better.

The garlic sauce.... Let's call this jarlic and water, which was so bland, this dish seemed like a dietetic dish! No kick at all!
