    Grilled Pork Banh Mi
    Viv N.

Yummy food at ok prices!! I've eaten here a few times both dine-in and takeout, and both have only been good experiences. I like their grilled pork banh mi, garlic noodles, kimchi fried rice, and thai iced tea. It's located in an Irvine business complex, which if you've never been in, can be a somewhat strange location. Casual ambiance, endless parking, limited seating but almost never full as most people get their food to-go. Not an authentic Viet restaurant if you're ok with that, definitely more fusion!

I came here on a weekday around noon and ordered the Pork Belly Banh Mi. It was good, but nothing particularly stood out to me. I do think there are other places with more affordable prices. On the plus side, the service was super quick, and they have two self-ordering kiosks, which I really liked. The parking lot is also huge and convenient, and there are plenty of tables inside if you want to sit and enjoy your food. I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.

Food was fresh and amazing. I love the quick service despite it being peak lunch hour during weekdays. It's a small hole in a wall tucked away in the business area of Irvine. Definitely recommend going at non peak time. We got for the office to share: Garlic Noodles with BBQ chicken and grilled pork Banh Mi with grilled pork Kimchi fried rice with BBQ chicken Shaken beef rice bowl Everyone loves the green/aji verde sauce. Shaken beef rice bowl was probably my most favorite item from the bunch! Would go and try their pho some day.

I got the popcorn chicken and the fries during happy hour. It was crispy and the sauce was nice. The portion size was decent. I ordered online but they have kiosk you can use inside. They have a bell you can ring and seating inside. Overall, the wait was decent and the food was decent I would go back to try their pork belly next time.

The food came out super fast after we ordered. The garlic noodles were packed with garlicky flavor, perfectly seasoned, and had a great chewy texture. We also absolutely loved the pork belly, it was incredibly crispy and delicious. My favorite was the pork belly banh mi. The baguette was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the crispy pork belly paired so well with the pickled veggies and herbs, making every bite so satisfying!

We stopped by for a meal and were impressed by the variety on the menu, especially the extensive drink selection and Happy Hour specials available from 2-5 PM. For food, we ordered the Garlic Noodles with Shaken Steak, Pork Belly Banh Mi, and Popcorn Chicken. The garlic noodles were flavorful with the tender shaken steak. The pork belly banh mi featuring crispy pork belly and fresh toppings on a toasted baguette. The popcorn chicken was crispy, juicy, and made for a great appetizer to share. For drinks, we tried the Lychee Green Tea and Lemon Guava Green Tea. Both were refreshing and complemented the meal well. The restaurant offers plenty of drink options, making it a great spot to relax with friends. Between the tasty food, refreshing beverages, and Happy Hour deals, it's definitely worth a visit.

My coworkers and I love getting Saiga for a quick Vietnamese food fix at work. The pork belly garlic noodles are my favorite -- the pork belly is perfectly crispy and they really load up on the garlic. The filet mignon pho had a rich, flavorful broth, and the pork belly banh mi was warm, crunchy, and super good. Service is always quick, parking is easy, and the whole spot is just really convenient. They also have frozen, packaged pho which I thought was so interesting. Have to get it next time to try!

Everything was delicious! We got a regular viet coffee, a Pandan viet coffee, crispy pork, kimchi fried rice bowl, chicken teriyaki banh mi, and rare beef pho. Everyone was so nice there and the food came out very quickly! The location was somewhat hidden but once you walk in, it is very home like! Definitely would recommend going and I can't wait to try more items!! Go like, comment, follow @mia.haleakala On Instagram!

Reservation: Not needed - fast casual; lot of people inside for a weekday lunch but mostly takeout/deliveries so turnover for tables was high Parking: Super easy parking in lot right outside Vibes: Bright and welcoming atmosphere with greenery, free wifi, and kiosks for convenient ordering Service: friendly and efficient despite the lunch rush Grilled pork banh mi: my personal highlight - perfectly toasted bread and the super flavorful grilled pork; other ingredients well balanced in good proportion Pork belly banh mi: also really great flavor, not super rich and fatty considering pork belly is used so wasn't heavy and reminded me of char siu pork Kimchi fried rice with BBQ chicken: chicken skin had really nice color on them and good portion though kimchi fried rice could use more heat for me personally Everything together was under $40 - a convenient, quick meal for good value!

    Grilled Pork Vermicelli with Eggroll
    Suzy N.

Saiga Vietnamese Eatery is always an easy choice for me because Vietnamese food is usually my first pick when I am deciding what to eat, and whenever I see this spot on our work menu, I choose it hands down. My go to order is the grilled pork vermicelli bowl, which comes with fish sauce on the side and an egg roll, plus garlic oil, pickled carrots, mint leaves, lettuce, and cucumbers. Everything works so well together. The pork is flavorful, the noodles are light, and all the fresh herbs and veggies make each bite super satisfying. I have also tried their garlic noodles, which were tasty, but the vermicelli is definitely my favorite and what I would recommend first. The flavors are balanced, the portions are solid, it's packaged very well so that nothing spills, and it always hits the spot whenever I am craving Vietnamese food. If you are debating what to order here, go straight for the grilled pork vermicelli. It does not disappoint.

Combination Pho Pork Belly Salad Kimchi Fried Rice
    Ana S.

Saiga Vietnamese Eatery in Irvine is located in a business complex, but it's definitely worth checking out. This spot actually has more menu options than the Orange location. It can be a little hard to find at first, but it's worth it. We ordered the Combination Pho, and the broth and noodles were served separately, which kept everything fresh and nicely textured. The pho was good overall, but it wasn't the standout dish for me. The Pork Belly Salad was the highlight. The house dressing was light and flavorful, and the pork belly was crispy and delicious. Both the Irvine and Orange locations are consistent when it comes to quality and texture. We also tried the Kimchi Fried Rice with BBQ Chicken. The rice had great texture and was not just plain rice mixed with kimchi. You could tell it was thoughtfully prepared. The BBQ chicken was really tasty and went perfectly with the fried rice.

    Jenny P.

Usually I really like Saiga, but this dish was a little off. I got the kimchi fried rice with steak and it wasn't good. Rice was oily and didn't have a strong kimchi taste (tasted like they put too much sesame oil) and the steak tasted rubbery.

    Marie C.

I finally got to try Saiga and it definitely lived up to the hype! The pork belly was hands down my favorite. It was tender, flavorful, and had the perfect crispy edges. You can really tell they put a lot of care into it because every bite was so satisfying. My go-to order will now be the pork belly over garlic noodles (or rice if I'm in the mood for something lighter). I also got a banh mi, the bread was fresh and crispy, the pickled veggies added the perfect crunch, and everything came together so well. One thing to keep in mind: they don't have restrooms on-site, so plan ahead. That said, the location is tucked away in Irvine and is super convenient if you're near or heading to the airport. If you're visiting for the first time, definitely order something with the pork belly. It's easily the star of the menu, and I'll definitely be back to try more!

The puff bread was a bit too flour-y for me but I loved the honey butter it came with. I really hope the crab roe spaghetti stays on the menu because it was delicious, great portion, and had amazing crab flavor. The pasta was also well cooked and sauce not too creamy. The berry part of the matcha berry tiramisu was the strongest so I didn't detect matcha as much. They were kind enough to provide a small slice of chocolate cake a la mode with a candle for the birthday and it was actually a great balance of flavor, not being too rich or heavy in chocolate. I would order this again separately as a solid fudge sundae. The beef carpaccio, squid ink uni pasta, spicy miso carbonara, mentaiko pizza, and sticky toffee pudding are still solid as usual. Came back yet another time, and got the beef carpaccio because I just love the truffle flavor, the two sauces, and the arugula/apple bites in between. The only improvement would be smaller slices to make it easier to eat since the larger ones are hard to pick up. The crab roe spaghetti I had to get again for the summer menu in case they decide not to keep it for fall/winter because the crab flavor is so good. My friend ordered the seafood malfadine which I was apprehensive about considering my previous experience but WOW I was surprised by how different it was this time around because when I tried a bite, they REALLY turned it around. I'm so grateful my friend decided to order it because after trying theirs, I might start ordering it again for myself now. Not sure if I had it on an off day previously or they changed the recipe but it now is actually as flavorful as the spicy miso carbonara and might actually be even better. The sausage flavor actually adds a lot of richness without being heavy or overpowering, the spice is a good kick without being actually spicy, the shrimp is delicious, but I kept going back for the sauce. INI Ristorante is one of very few restaurants I consistently keep coming back to instead of trying other new spots in the area because I can't choose my favorite out of so many good things on the menu and just want them all so I need to come with bigger groups or rotate each time I visit. A great problem to have. Their dishes are innovative, pack full flavor, and are unique enough to not find elsewhere. Service was great, Trisha provided great service. Wouldn't wait around too long. She refilled the…read morewater jug without asking. She did let us know the kitchen is slightly behind as well. There were a lot of booths inside and lots of tables on the side and outside seating. Outside seating is pet friendly but bit crowded. Two restrooms in the back, and it even offers complimentary mouthwash! Food is absolutely amazing! The pear salad was light and fresh, with great simple flavors. It's arugula with candied walnuts, and under is burrata with Asian pear. The carne asada tostada is a very small plate, but seems more of an appetizer. Great flavor for a small dish. Saltado with Filet Mignon and Garlic Noodles were very delicious, especially the chewy and soft noodles. The meat is very tender, the fries ok, a bit overcooked. Great place for family sharing. The Saltado is $25 and a big portion.
