i stopped by saiga eatery for dinner and i was honestly really impressed. its a cute hidden gem tucked away in irvine!! we got the garlic noodles with pork belly, bbq chicken fries, thai tea, and the lychee lemonade. the protein was definitely the star of the meal. the pork belly had the perfect crispy skin while still being super juicy, and the bbq chicken was sooo tender too. the garlic noodles were simple but good, especially with the green aioli. i literally could not stop eating the sauce it has this fresh lime cilantro flavor that goes with everything. i was dipping the fries in it too!! speaking of the fries... they were sooo crispy and stayed crispy the whole meal, which i loved. the thai tea was really good and the lychee lemonade was super refreshing, but a little too sweet for me! service was also really fast and the cashier was super nice. the space is clean and has a cute, modern vibe. my only tiny suggestion would be to play some music because it was pretty quiet inside. other than that i genuinely enjoyed everything and i'd definitely come back!

We stopped by for a meal and were impressed by the variety on the menu, especially the extensive drink selection and Happy Hour specials available from 2-5 PM. For food, we ordered the Garlic Noodles with Shaken Steak, Pork Belly Banh Mi, and Popcorn Chicken. The garlic noodles were flavorful with the tender shaken steak. The pork belly banh mi featuring crispy pork belly and fresh toppings on a toasted baguette. The popcorn chicken was crispy, juicy, and made for a great appetizer to share. For drinks, we tried the Lychee Green Tea and Lemon Guava Green Tea. Both were refreshing and complemented the meal well. The restaurant offers plenty of drink options, making it a great spot to relax with friends. Between the tasty food, refreshing beverages, and Happy Hour deals, it's definitely worth a visit.

The food came out super fast after we ordered. The garlic noodles were packed with garlicky flavor, perfectly seasoned, and had a great chewy texture. We also absolutely loved the pork belly, it was incredibly crispy and delicious. My favorite was the pork belly banh mi. The baguette was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the crispy pork belly paired so well with the pickled veggies and herbs, making every bite so satisfying!

Lots of people even during 2:30-3:00. I walked in and ordered at the front counter because i had questions, but I'd use the kiosk to look at photos to order there! Come back in about 10 minutes after ordering and your food should be ready! Staffs - very nice and was patient with my questions as it was my first time. Keep in mind, they are in and out of kitchens grabbing orders so you may wait a minutes or two. You can always ring the bell on the counter as well. Any meat you choose for your dish is delicious! The flavor is there and the sauce will help bring in the flavor with your dish. Keep in mind, everything is in to-go containers so it will be easy to take wherever you're going. They do have their Pho's to buy! Interior - theres only a few tables, but there are tables and seats outside as well. Interior does get filled up fast if they're busy. I sat outside, under the umbrella which was comfortable as well! very well shaded. Parking - Lots of space, you wont have any problems parking.

My coworkers and I love getting Saiga for a quick Vietnamese food fix at work. The pork belly garlic noodles are my favorite -- the pork belly is perfectly crispy and they really load up on the garlic. The filet mignon pho had a rich, flavorful broth, and the pork belly banh mi was warm, crunchy, and super good. Service is always quick, parking is easy, and the whole spot is just really convenient. They also have frozen, packaged pho which I thought was so interesting. Have to get it next time to try!

The food is amazing. I personally really loved their crispy pork belly with the kimchi fried rice. The rice was really flavorful and it came with a fried egg. I also loved their vermicelli noodles with their grilled chicken. They were very fresh and you could really taste the quality of their ingredients. For drinks I had the lemon Guava green tea and it was honestly very refreshing. The people were very friendly and answered all the questions I had. It really felt like a nice cozy place. I will defiently be coming back

Usually I really like Saiga, but this dish was a little off. I got the kimchi fried rice with steak and it wasn't good. Rice was oily and didn't have a strong kimchi taste (tasted like they put too much sesame oil) and the steak tasted rubbery.

Amazing place! This isn't a typical dine in restaurant. You order from a computer and all ordered are made to go but they do have tables available to dine in. Food was good but ambiance is very general.

Saiga Vietnamese Eatery in Irvine is located in a business complex, but it's definitely worth checking out. This spot actually has more menu options than the Orange location. It can be a little hard to find at first, but it's worth it. We ordered the Combination Pho, and the broth and noodles were served separately, which kept everything fresh and nicely textured. The pho was good overall, but it wasn't the standout dish for me. The Pork Belly Salad was the highlight. The house dressing was light and flavorful, and the pork belly was crispy and delicious. Both the Irvine and Orange locations are consistent when it comes to quality and texture. We also tried the Kimchi Fried Rice with BBQ Chicken. The rice had great texture and was not just plain rice mixed with kimchi. You could tell it was thoughtfully prepared. The BBQ chicken was really tasty and went perfectly with the fried rice.

This spot is tucked inside a business complex that serves legit Vietnamese food. There are definitely days when I don't have time to make the drive out to Little Saigon in Westminster, and this place absolutely fills that craving without the trek. I ordered the pork belly banh mi from the kiosk. It came out warm and the baguette was toasty. The pork belly was tender and flavorful. The jalepenos and cilantro is fresh and it just tied everything together. It hit the spot and is easily one of the best pork belly banh mi in Irvine. I also tried their frozen chicken pho. They sell them there but I picked mine up from Wholefoods market. I didn't know what to expect and it surprised me in the best way. It's now officially in my regular rotation. The broth tastes clean and comforting. It's close enough to a bowl of homemade chicken pho. Bonus points for healthier ingredients. Contains no MSG and has 22g of protein. I didn't feel heavy or bloated afterwards which is rare for packaged pho. The portion is on the smaller side, so you might want to grab two if you're really hungry or want a more standard bowl size. Since you order at the kiosk, I didn't have much engagement with people who work there until my food was ready for pick up. It's a casual and more of an eat and go type of spot. Just a heads up, no restrooms for customers.

Needed something quick and found this place on yelp. I ordered the pork belly garlic noodles via the Toast local app and I was notified within less than 10 minutes my order was ready for pickup. The pork belly had a nice crispy skin. I'd prefer the pork belly to be a bit more tender and the garlic noodles to have a bit more flavor. But overall not bad, would come again

This place is a hidden gem right by john wayne airport and other business , im glad I found this place is right by my job and its very accesible The food was fast and great customer service they also have self ordering computer which is great I got their vietnamese iced coffee so delicious and their lyche lemonade very refreshing I ordered their garlic noodle with grilled pork it comes with green aioli sauce the pork is well done and great flavor I also got their Banh Mi with pork belly , it was soo crunchy and fresh , They ambiance was relaxing its a small place so mainly is for take out

There's no shortage of Vietnamese food choices in OC but Saiga delivered a home-style, authentic twist. We ordered the brisket pho, pork belly banh mi and pork belly vermicelli. The pho broth was very different from most places I've tried and had a lot of depth in flavors. The sauce that came with the vermicelli dish also felt very homemade. But the banh mi stole the show! The baguette was the perfect balance of crunchy and soft and the filling all came together and leave you wanting more. The only downside to this place is that it is a to-go only set up and there's no nearby places to sit and enjoy it fresh out of the kitchen but next time I know to just eat the banh mi in my car :) read more

Grilled Pork Salad Bowl.....Ahhhhh-mazing! I felt compelled to review because I did not see a mention of this (salad) deliciousness in other reviews...the pork was perfect, and I love that it was separate from the veggies (on foil) to keep the veggies from wilting...everything was so fresh and flavorful, I can see this becoming a staple in my weekday lunch routine. There was a dressing and a green sauce both on the side, and i just went for it and dumped them on top, with a little sriracha too....omg, sooo good! Def a great find! It was a little hidden, but other yelpers have provided excellent direction, and it's well worth finding! YUMMMMMM! read more

Passing thru w/ a car full of picky eaters. Only thing we could agree on was Vietnamese food. Saiga's menu was super easy to follow and had something for everyone's tastes. Ordering directly off of Saiga's website was quick and simple. We ordered the pork belly rice bowl, garlic noodles w/ chicken, grilled pork vermicelli, pork belly bahn mi, pho noodle soup, and the crispy egg rolls appetizers. Everything was delicious and cooked just right. Not a single complaint from anyone in my group--including the pickiest among us. Even the red and green sauces that came with some of the dishes were refreshing and not overly sweet nor too spicy. Would definitely come back again. read more

Wow! What a gem! We were staying in Irvine but didn't want to drive too far for a Banh Mi. We happen to find this place via Yelp. This place is legit- great service, clean and the Banh Mi is one of the best that I've had. The bread is crispy on the outside with the right amount of filling ratio. The bread is not too heavy which allows you to truly taste the filling. As we headed out, we made another stop to grab some sandwiches for our airplane ride home. Go to Saiga if you want a good Banh Mi. We will be back!! read more

I don't like to post but wanted to support this place. I work in Irvine and i really wanted pho. I found saiga from yelp and just tried it yesterday. I had their pho and pork belly sandwich. Omg it was so good. The pho was so flavorful and the pork belly was so crispy. The young lady in the front was so nice as well. She said all their recipes are from her mom. So cute. Wow!!! I had the pork belly with vermicelli noodles and it was truly off the charts, delicious! The ingredients were so fresh, you can taste the quality. The belly was crisp to perfection and the noodles were nicely complemented by the cucumbers, lettuce, mint, carrotts and nuoc cham sauce. Aromatic dish, refreshingly tasty! I LOVE THEIR BAHN MI! My dad ordered from them and it's the best in town by far. Along with the few bites of bahn mi, I had the kimchi fried rice with egg and belly on top! Everything was still warm when it got delivered and the drinks were still ice cold! I recommend the cookies (peanut butter chocolate is my favorite) and the coffee as well! SOOOO GOOD! This little spot is in a suite that has multiple other mini restaurants. I actually went in during their soft opening and was greeted by who I presume is the owner/investor? I believe his name was Nick. Super friendly guy and helped me purchase through the main app for the specific restaurant I wanted to purchase from. The young woman from Saiga was super friendly and welcoming as well. I am a huge supporter of local businesses and introducing friends, families and co-workers to such places. On this occasion, I bought through Saiga since I am a huge fan of Vietnamese. Food came out quick, fresh and super delicious. It is a hard time for all right now, and a lot of our local businesses are impacted. I do encourage you, if you want some good food with excellent friendly service, go here! You won't be disappointed. They are offering pick up and delivery right now, so definitely give them a try. It's so worth it. Keep supporting our local businesses as much as we can! Unlike many popular franchises, they put more effort in to your food and keeping customers happy. I will definitely be returning and spreading the word. read more

Awesome experience! First time trying and did not disappoint. The food looked as good as the pictures on their website and tasted great. I was recommended by a friend to try Saiga. My husband and I tried the Brisket Pho, Garlic Noodles with Chicken and Belly Bowl. Everything was well packed and delicious. I enjoyed the Belly Bowl the most. It has just enough fat to have a full mouth feel and the skin is soooo crispy. My husband had the Pho and he really enjoyed it too. They stick to a more traditional approach and don't add sweetener unless you ask for it. Lastly, the pourovers. Some people might question the price, but take a minute to smell the different beans at the counter. You'll quickly realize that not every bean smells like coffee. The tasting notes actually come through and you can tell a lot of care goes into every pour over they make. Most drinks, aside from the pour-overs, are around $4.50 to $7, which is a far greater value for what you're getting in sheer quality. There are way too many cafes these days that focus on aesthetics and end up sacrificing quality. This place feels like it's run by people who genuinely love coffee and it shows in every order. Last note: they have their system down to a tee. The wait in line may be long but once you order it's super quick to receive your order.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Saiga Vietnamese Eatery in Orange, and as someone who grew up on Vietnamese food in Orange County, I can confidently say this spot delivers. Their menu features a fantastic lineup of Vietnamese classics, and I went with the pork belly garlic noodles and a BBQ chicken bánh mì. For drinks, I couldn't resist the lychee green tea and Thai tea. Both of these were delicious. The Thai tea was bold and creamy, while the lychee green tea was light and refreshing. Bonus points for offering cookies for dessert, and they were definitely tempting! The service was impressively fast. My drinks came out right away, and my food followed in under 10 minutes. The pork belly dish was the star of the show: crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth tender inside, and paired with a vibrant green aioli that tied the whole dish together. The noodles struck a perfect balance, flavorful without being overpoweringly garlicky. The bánh mì was super customizable (thank you for letting me ditch the cilantro!), packed with flavor, fresh veggies, and soft, pillowy bread. The moment we walked in, we were embraced by a welcoming atmosphere that hinted at the delightful meal to come. The highlight of our meal had to be the Vietnamese BBQ garlic noodles. Perfectly cooked and expertly seasoned with garlic, they danced on our palates with vibrant flavors, made even more scrumptious by the addition of succulent BBQ Chicken & Grilled Pork slices. UPDATE: To say that my friend and I getting food poisoning is fake or that I must have a problem because I have left food poisoning reviews at other establishments is a low blow from an unethical bad business owner. To clarify, I eat out A LOT. So the chances of me having bad experiences is high. ESPECIALLY in this economy where a lot of businesses are cutting corners because they can barely make it. I realize that I should leave more good reviews, but when a business such as yours serves me SPOILED CHICKEN. I am NOT going to let it go unnoticed and not let people know so they are cautious. I am baffled that you are victim blaming me. Speaks volumes of your character AND your business. You are lucky I didn't get sicker cause your food would've been sent to a lab. Previous review: Review long over do. Came in once, pho was good...but nothing special. However, came in a second time after Easter weekend and my friend and I got mild food poisoning from the chicken bahn mis. They seem a little rushed always and possibly careless. I came here for a quick meal, but the experience was disappointing. When I walked in, no one greeted me. The tables and seats were dirty, and the music was blasting way too loud, which made it hard to relax. I used the self-service kiosk to order, but when I got my food, it turned out to be a rice belly bowl instead of the vermicelli I thought I ordered. I tried to get the staff's attention, but had to wave and raise my voice before anyone acknowledged me. When I asked if I could switch my order, the front staff seemed annoyed, didn't apologize, and only pulled up the price difference. Since I was in a rush, I just kept the dish. She then turned around and went straight back into the kitchen without any effort to improve the situation. The food itself was just okay, but between the dirty dining area, the overly loud music, and the poor customer service, the whole experience was unpleasant. Honestly, I wish I hadn't tipped them. The tofu bánh mì was definitely my favorite. The bread was incredibly soft, and the tofu had the perfect crispy exterior with a juicy, flavorful center--honestly, some of the best tofu I've had in a long time. We ordered the kimchi fried rice with pork belly, served with an egg on top, chicken vermicelli noodles, and a chocolate macadamia cookie. I had a wonderful experience at Saiga Vietnamese Eatery! This place is a takeout restaurant so it's great for when you need something on-the-go. My friend and I got the Filet Mignon Pho and Garlic Noodles with Pork Belly (we added an egg on it too!) for our entrees. The pho had a nice flavor and was delicious. The garlic noodles were my favorite out of the two and the pork belly was perfectly crispy. We also got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie which was amazing! Hopefully they will add more cookies to their dessert menu because it was so good!! The service was good and we got our food quickly. This hidden gem in the Sky Park Circle office park is my new favorite lunch spot! Saiga is perfect for quick takeout (only a few tables inside), but the food is absolutely outstanding and made fresh every day. I ordered the Pho Combination and Pho Brisket - the broth was incredibly rich and flavorful, with tender meats and perfect noodles. The Grilled Pork on Rice was spot-on, juicy and well-seasoned. To top it off, the Strawberry Lemonade and Lemon Guava Green Tea were super refreshing and not too sweet. Service was fast and friendly, ideal for busy workdays. Found the best lunch spot ever! This place was made by two sisters and their mom. They cook up awesome family recipes, with stuff like sandwiches and bowls, crispy pork belly, and yummy grilled chicken. They also have Thai tea, coffee and lemonade that's really refreshing. Whether you want a lunch box or a big catering order, they've got you covered. Their pork belly and grilled chicken are super tasty, and their special sauce is really good. The food is so delicious that I'm already thinking about coming back. And guess what? If you're too busy to visit a lot, they have frozen meals you can try. I go to saiga with my friends regularly. It's one of my favorite spots in Irvine. The food tastes really good and they're consistently good quality. The texture, moisture and seasonings are just right. There isn't much seating inside because the venue operates with more of a take your food to go model. However, if you do stay it's quiet and peaceful there, there isn't many people around outside usually. The service and staff are great. They're polite and friendly. There will always be lots of parking. If you're in Irvine definitely try it out They also sell freshly frozen meals. no artificial flavors, all real ingredients. After eyeing this place for so long, I finally had the opportunity to dine! I appreciate the staff's attentiveness and help with ordering. I was also amazed how quickly the food came out! The filet mignon pho was hot. The broth was rich in beef flavor and spices. Filet mignon was soft and chewy. Adding lime to the broth enhances the flavor! The Thai tea is brewed perfectly; a great balance of the tea flavor and creaminess from the milk. I was craving Vietnamese food and heard about this place from a coworker so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did because the food here is excellent! I got the chicken and egg bowl and eggrolls. The chicken is soooo good. It's very juicy but the skin is still crispy. The green aioli sauce is also very good. I could dip celery (yuck!) in it and it'll still taste good. The eggrolls are very crunchy and filled with meat. Highly recommend the drinks here as well. I've tried Vietnamese Coffee and Kumquat Spritzer. They're both really good. Overall I was very happy with the food. The price is also reasonable especially for Irvine. I was so excited to see lychee lemonade on the menu!! It was so delicious. I also really liked the food here. I ordered the popcorn chicken, tofu banh mi, and chicken bowl. I loved how there was an option to add a fried egg to all the menu options.The popcorn chicken was so crispy and came with a delicious side of sauce. Very friendly service and it was easy to order.
