I came to Saigon beach the other day after checking them out on yelp, and it did not disappoint one bit! I ordered the coconut pandan waffles and the sticky rice munchies, as well as a Saigon beer. The pandan waffles were my favorite. They were sweet enough and truly tasted like pandan. The whipped cream was delicious and coconut flavored, and i normally don't even like whipped cream! The sticky rice munchies were tasty and filling. I liked how you could pick your choice of filling. However, I do wish there was a little more put into the presentation of this plate. The service was outstanding; the worker who helped us recommended beers that ended up being amazing. He also offered us water cups, and he was super friendly. I'm excited to try more menu items at Saigon beach and maybe even have a Saigon again sometime soon!

Visited them for lunch the other day, and was pretty happy to learn that they have a happy hour from 2-5pm (tues-fri only). This Vietnamese spot has a small parking lot, so you can easily find parking and grab a bite. The restaurant is pretty decently-sized, with ample seating inside and out. There's a sign out front that lets you know to order at the front. Once you order, they give you a number for your table, and they'll bring the food to you when it's ready. We got the crazy rich baos, lemongrass soup, and banh mi dip. The baos were actually so good, and they were part of the happy hour menu! Baos were filled with pickled veggies and grilled pork. The lemongrass noodle soup was also very delicious, and had a nice tangy and spicy kick to it. Prices here are pretty standard for modern Vietnamese places. Our total came out to around $45-50 for the three items. There are a few team members that were working, but everyone was really nice and friendly.

Fantastic filet minon pho bowl. I ordered through uber eats and it came hot, everything separated and ready to put in a bowl together to mix in and it was delicious. I look forward to a dining experience soon.

So good! The restaurant is located on PCH and has a modernized-traditional vibe. The service was extremely quick and friendly, I appreciated that our server helped us with recommendations on his favorite imported beer for us to try. The food was phenomenal, especially the coconut pandan waffle. It had an incredible crunch on the outside, as well as a chewy inside. This paired so perfectly with their side of whipped cream!

There is limited parking by the restaurant. (Own parking lot) You order at the counter and they bring you the food. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There is a clean restroom inside. We ordered banh mi, garlic noodles, wings and dirty fries. Everything was super tasty. They give you soda cans. They also have water with ice so you can easily serve yourself. I would return and taste the other food items.

Such a nice little authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Laguna right along PCH! It's so nice this restaurant has opened up because I can never find authentic, ethnic and affordable food in Laguna. It's now our favorite little lowkey spot! We came on a Friday summer evening and there was no crowd or lines, so we were able to order our food and find a seat right away. Extremely cost effective for Laguna beach, super convenient and homemade feeling, fresh and healthy and tasty Vietnamese food. The food is really comforting for me and I always feel good after eating here! Definitely recommend visiting !! Then go for a walk across the street to the beach for an epic sunset!!

Omg so freaking good!!! Went there for lunch today. I had the filet pho - asked for lemongrass broth. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD. My husband got the curry - he ate every last drop. We got the wings as an app - also delicious!! We'll definitely be back!

Actually really good food. I went solo, which is a rarity, and ordered a couple things that the cashier recommended. I got the Vietmanese Coffe/Thai tea combo, and it was really good. I also got the grilled pork bahn mi and the fried egg rolls. It was all good. The eggrolls were nice and crispy with a good tangy sauce and the bahn mi's grilled pork was really flavorful. Over all pretty nice/generic looking place that does the job. Definitely would make a good take out joint also.

The food was so fresh and it tasted amazing! Really nice patio next to the beach and comfortable seating. Friendly staff :)

When I was looking for a Vietnamese restaurant to meet up in Laguna beach, I came across this gem! It's a cozy, homey spot with a great atmosphere for dining. We ordered fried egg rolls, crispy wontons, a pork banh mi, a pork vermicelli bowl, pho (traditional soup), chicken curry, passionfruit mango limeade, and Thai iced tea. The food was absolutely delicious, I especially loved the appetizers! The server, who was the only one working that day, was like Wonder Woman! She was friendly, easy to talk to, and super nice. It was the perfect combination of good food, great service, and a lovely place to try.

Food was yummy too. My girls had the teriyaki chicken and California roll, both yummy. The chicken teriyaki was surprisingly yummy. The Salmon Garlic Ponzu wasn't my favorite, but it's because I love a really good Salmon. However! The Bluefin Tuna w/ Crispy Onion was good. The crispy onion is thicker than you think, which makes excellent for the batter to catch. The specialty rolls: Red Dragon Roll w/Crispy Onion & Seared Yellowtail Roll was really good, again the crispy and onion was a nice crunch touch. Dessert, they have mochi ice cream, which is very familiar to the brand Mikawaya. 1, serving is 2 small size mochi ice cream, cut in half, so 4 half cut pieces. We enjoyed my husbands birthday, while at the same time hoping ours kids keep it together. And we got lucky this round! Great birthday dinner for my hubs. Thank you, O Fine Japanese Cuisine!

The batter wasn't overly thick, the texture was great, and the sauce was honestly better than Panda Express. The Mongolian beef was juicy, flavorful, and well seasoned. I also liked the vegetables that came with it. The soups were really well made and exactly what we were craving. They gave us the option of brown or white rice, and both were cooked well. Our waitress was amazing; she's super kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the meal. The inside was a little dark, but the windows were open so there was still natural light coming in. Glad we decided to try Redwood Social today, which is near the Mission SJC side. Don't get me wrong...it's not "cheap" either. But the food quality, quantity, service and atmosphere make the price worth it. My kids already asked to return to this restaurant while we were still dining there. Kids loved the steak frites and Jidori fried chicken. Parents got the coconut curry with chicken and NY steak & eggs. Guava margarita packs a nice punch. There are plenty of indoor seating as well, but if the weather is nice, I'd definitely recommend sitting outdoors. Thumbs up.

It was at a perfect location with the perfect sunlight. We went up the stairs and checked in with the hostess. Honestly, she appeared very confused about what to do with her seating chart. I'm not sure if she's new and is still trying to figure things out but she definitely need to run the front of the house a little better and I say this because our server took a little bit of time to get to us but not to her fault but because she wasn't told she new people in her section. Anyways, once we were seated and greeted by our server Ashley, who is outstanding by the way everything went well. She recommended a couple of good dishes and she wasn't wrong about them. Also, she had to be the one to give us the happy hour menu, the hostess gave us the regular dinner menu and Ashley save the day by telling us they are still on happy hour. So I ordered the Guava Margarita, really refreshing but a bit to strong for my liking but once I gave it a good stir it came out perfect. When then ordered the ff items: Wagyu dumplings Bang Bang Shrimp Pad Thai Adobo Ris Wagyu dumplings was absolutely amazing along with the the bang bang shrimp although I think it needs a little bit of lemon sprinkle. The adobo ribs was probably the best out of all the dishes. The pad thai was okay. Nothing to special about it. All in all great food, amazing atmosphere and great choice for an early dinner. I think a lot of the servers here are college students back for summer so I would say be a little patient but great food.

A great zesty lightly spicy salsa made fresh and crisp seasoned tortilla chips. For dinner I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich which also came with tortilla chips and my hubs ordered the fish and chips. We also got a piña colada on the rocks.
