Beef rolls with Banh Hoi is good. It is a very good portion to share among friends. Banh Khot here is good too. It is crunchy outside and a soft inside. The egg rolls are decent. I came in for a very late lunch, and there were not many customers, so the service was quick. I don't really like the restaurant decor. Been wanting to try this place after seeing it on instagram, we were invited for a birthday dinner. The place is dark but has an inviting deco. We were a party of nine so we were able to order good variety. All the appetizers we order were really good, Eggrolls, banh Khot and soft shell crab. I order a combo platter it came with lots of food that can feed two people. Skewers were cooked perfectly. Son had the Jurassic Pho which he let me try. The broth was flavorful and I like that the beef rib was grilled but lacking meat. I guess I'm used to the meaty beef rib I get from another place which cost the same. Tried multiple items on the menu: Jurassic Pho: lots to love about this pho. Big portion, lots of meat, very good broth and lots of noodles. The meatballs were different from the usual gummy kind that I usually set aside. These ones look handmade, chunky beefy, tasty. The beef tenderloin slices were soft and good quality. The broth was not oily and had a very balanced flavor. There was not one spice that overpowers another and did not overwhelms the taste buds. On the sweeter side vs salty. You can drink the broth. It did not need the big beef rib which was just ok. Very good pho. Vietnamese Sticky Wings: sweet salty crunchy. You can taste a hint of fish sauce. Good wings. Pork Skewers and Shrimp Skewer in Triple Combo: this dish has noodles, pickled carrots and radish, nuoc mam on the side. The pork skewer was very good. Soft meat with just enough fat to give it that buttery flavor. Satisfies the sweet salty taste buds with hint of soy sauce. The grilled shrimp were very plump, not dry at all. Perfectly cooked and yummy. Tamarind Soft Shell Crab: started out crispy but got soggy after soaking in the tamarind sauce. If you like the slight sour tarty tamarind flavor this is for you. I wish it had some sweetness to balance the sour flavor and maybe just a drizzle of the sauce to keep from getting soggy. Staff were nice and food came out quickly. Came here for the first time, the ordering is a little odd, the restaurant is both Saigon Blvd and Koja kitchen. To order anything from Koja you need to use the tablet at the front. For Saigon Blvd you can order off the QR code on the table or the server can come by to take your order. When the food is ready, Koja kitchen food is picked up by the diner at the counter whereas Saigon blvd food is brought to your table by the server. This was a little confusing for someone coming for the first time. The servers were nice and the food was decent. The atmosphere is interesting and fun. Then customers end up leaving bad reviews, but you did work hard to serve them. You let customers come in, serve customers ice water, and receive complaints because your restaurant short staff. I went here to meet up with some friends for a week night dinner and there was no wait. The place is really nicely decorated and Instagram-able so I had my expectations ready that it might be more for show but everything we had was so tasty. Service was friendly and we never felt rushed. I like that they have all condiments and utensils at the table like any pho place so you don't have to ask. For appetizers we had the Cajun soft shell crab. The butter dip was amazing with this dish. We also had some Vietnamese crepes which were like banh bro that were deep fried. We also shared a Jurassic pho and one of the wrap platters. The pho was really tasty. I've had better broth at other places but overall it was really tasty and had plenty of meat. The wrap platter was perfect to share and everything -the egg rolls, skewers and grilled meat was delicious. I highly recommend coming here for your Vietnamese food cravings. Saigon Blvd is the latest Vietnamese spot to open in the surrounding Cupertino area which does lack Vietnamese cuisine. The menu is pretty limited with a small selection of pho, noodle bowls, wrap platters (which is the same as the noodle bowl just deconstructed), and a few rice plates. Vegetarian options are obsolete so I wouldn't come here expecting to eat anything other than meat or seafood. The appetizers are all fried and heavy (chicken wings, egg rolls, and fried soft shell crab). They do offer egg coffee which not a lot of Vietnamese restaurants offer. Interior design is a bit excessive, random, and chaotic. It seems like they really put a lot of effort in the interior. There's a lot to look at in here but it doesn't feel cohesive. The service was just average. The workers weren't super friendly or welcoming, very straight to the point. They didn't check on us, refill our waters, or clear out excess dishes on our table. I would consider the service to be very minimal here. You order and pay via smart phone QR code. Platter B- 3.75/5 stars. Okay, a few things to unpack here. So this is basically a deconstructed noodle bowl with a variety of meats and fresh vegetables. The serving size could probably feed two people who aren't super hungry. Or you could order an additional appetizer and split this. *Chicken skewer- this was the best protein option. The chicken thigh was juicy and flavorful with a sugary caramelization. *Beef skewer- This was the worst cut of meat. The beef was tough, chewy, and dry. This definitely had room for improvement. Perhaps use higher quality beef. *Shrimp sugarcane- This was spongey, moist, and slightly sweet. I would prefer a less spongey texture but it wasn't bad. *Crab eggrolls- these were SO GOOD. The eggrolls were crispy with a sweet crab filling. The options for modifications includes "no peanuts" but there were no peanuts in the dish at all so this was definitely missed. Roasted peanuts would be a game changer. Otherwise, the noodles, fresh lettuce, meat, and pickled carrots/daikon made a wonderful combination of textures and flavors. I actually preferred eating it this way rather than in a bowl. Saigon scallops- 3/5 stars. These were the smallest scallops I've ever seen. Especially for $16, you get 3 tiny scallops. The scallops had a nice grilled flavor with a touch of scallion oil. Tamarind soft shell crab- 4/5 The soft shell crab was fried perfectly and the tamarind sauce gave it a nice sweet tangy flavor. It pairs well with the fresh lettuce. Saigon Blvd seems promising with much room to improve. Considering there is not many Vietnamese options in this part of town, I would recommend this spot if you're craving Vietnamese cuisine. The prices are definitely on the higher end. We spent about $120 with tip for the 4 of us (without leftovers) for lunch which is typically expensive for Vietnamese food. The appetizers alone seem pretty overpriced for the portion size. The rating given was based on our first experience with limited exposure to only two dishes. The restaurant Parking was pretty easy, the place is new, clean and spacious; not sure if I liked the many artificial flowers though. Tables were identified by various street names of Saigon (I assumed), only a couple of tables were occupied in the early evening. Our waitress was very friendly, we ordered using the QR code a Jurassic pho and a Triple combo dry rice noodle. The Jurassic pho with extra noodles ($18+$1) was the better dish of the two, we enjoyed the piping hot broth, beef slices and balls. The grilled rib had good flavor but very little meat. The extra noodles didn't amount to much perhaps this is the going trend of everyone cutting down on carbs. Broth was pretty good, a little on the sweet side. The triple combo ($18) was just OK, noodles were a bit soggy, one egg roll and three shrimps were good, the grilled pork and chicken on the skewers were not of best quality. Extremely disappointed, would not come back again. Visited at 7 PM on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was not busy. Service is nonexistent. No greeter/host to lead us to the table, no one to take our order (you order via a QR code on the table). From the moment we ordered, our lone appetizer took 20 minutes to come out, and first entree came out after 30 minutes. The second entree came out 10 minutes after that, so 40 minutes after we ordered, on a casual, non-busy Tuesday evening. Why did the entrees not come out at the same time, despite being the same ingredients? No one checked in on us while we dined or even offered a water refill. Remember, this is the "service" that we are now slowly being encouraged to tip for before even receiving the food. Ridiculous. Flavor is very underwhelming. Pork in the spring rolls have no flavor. Vermicelli bowls had very small portions of protein. One small pork skewer, 2 small pieces of egg rolls, and 3 little pieces of shrimp was not worth the $18 price tag. Pork skewer had decent flavor, but was likely 2-3 oz of meat. 3 small shrimps doesn't make it any better. On top of that, this place may not be up to fire code or whatever, since the tables are so close together, you can't walk in between them since there is 6" of clearance between the tables (not an exaggeration). The party of 4 next to us had to pick up one of their tables and move it out the way just to sit down. This is a safety hazard. Ambiance and food presentation was good, but that doesn't make the experience at this establishment any better. Drive an extra 10 minutes and visit an authentic restaurant like Pho Almaden closer to the east side of San Jose. I will not be coming back to Saigon Blvd again, and suggest you don't waste your time or money here either. read more

I decided to come here craving pho after seeing this new spot on Main Street. Initially, we thought Koja Kitchen had closed down, but it turns out Koja is now takeout only, ordered from a kiosk. Interestingly, some folks were still eating their Koja meals in the restaurant, while this new place occupies the sit-down space. It seems like they're still in their soft opening phase or training staff because some items took a bit longer to arrive. We ordered the Jurassic Pho, the Triple Combo, and the Saigon Signature Coffee. The pho was really nice, with a flavorful broth. The beef balls tasted spicier and more homemade compared to other places that use premade meatballs. There wasn't thinly sliced beef, or maybe it was sliced thicker and already cooked, but I honestly preferred this over Pho Ha Noi. The Triple Combo was pretty standard, but I particularly enjoyed the pork skewer. The sauce, however, could have been a bit stronger. Came here for dinner during its Soft opening around 6pm. Got seated right after we arrived, the inside decoration is really neat, laser sharp projector images on the wall were really cool. Also the waiters came with menu pretty fast after we seated. We both got the beef rib pho and shared one chicken wing. The key to great Pho is having a flavorful broth and they did not miss here! Sooo amazing and our server Kelvin mentioned they use premium beef to create the stock which was evident in the flavor. I chose the beef brisket which was sliced thin to melt in your mouth. We also had the spring rolls that did not disappoint! So fresh and flavorful with the best peanut sauce. We also ordered the shrimp and crab egg rolls and was surprised when the dish came and wasn't served with a sauce on the side until I took a bite and realized there was no need for one. So crispy, airy, and packed with a delicious fish flavor. I'm always a little skeptical of places that have visually appealing aesthetics, because at times the food or service will fall short, but this was not the case! Saw some mixed reviews on this place but my son and I had to come try it out. We got a kids pho and a steak pho and some egg rolls. The place is nice, very fancy decor and the ambiance is nice. The staff is very friendly as well. Pho came out and I gotta say it was very savory and I read a review where it stated the portion was small and it was def not that. The portion was very generous, broth was amazing and savory. My only gripe which isn't a big deal is they didn't have any cilantro. Other than that the place is an 8.6 for me. I really wanted to love this place--it's beautiful, the people are wonderful, and the service is fantastic. The food? Quite tasty. But it was served on a straw tray lined with banana leaves, which was... an interesting choice. Moisture from the food seeped through, leaving little puddles on the table. It wasn't a total disaster, but let's just say a plate would have been a lot less messy--and probably more hygienic. Very good Vietnamese food, attentive service and pleasant atmosphere/ambiance. We started off with three tasty appetizers of spring rolls, fried egg rolls and Vietnamese sticky chicken wings. All were quite good and well prepared, though we wished the wings were a little bigger. We also really enjoyed our entrees (chicken skewers, pork skewers and short ribs), all of which were accompanied by two scoops of rice in a cute heart shape, a small sunnyside-up egg, carrot & daikon salad and sliced tomato garnish. We were in the South Bay and couldn't think of where to eat so I pulled up the Yelp app and searched and it led me to Saigon Blvd. we had the Jurassic pho and a vermicelli bowl and they both were delicious.
