Very good Vietnamese food, attentive service and pleasant atmosphere/ambiance. We started off with three tasty appetizers of spring rolls, fried egg rolls and Vietnamese sticky chicken wings. All were quite good and well prepared, though we wished the wings were a little bigger. We also really enjoyed our entrees (chicken skewers, pork skewers and short ribs), all of which were accompanied by two scoops of rice in a cute heart shape, a small sunnyside-up egg, carrot & daikon salad and sliced tomato garnish. Really glad to see a Vietnamese spot popping up on this block! Especially one that offers cream-topped and egg coffees (which were both really good, only thing I'd suggest is maybe a pinch of salt to bring out the flavors more!) - will definitely be getting our coffee fix here in the future. Food was solid too - the omelette segment that comes with the rice plate surprised me by packing more savory flavor than I expected! We placed our order and paid via the QR code on the table, and everything came out pretty quickly. Staff were good about checking in on us even though we were visiting during this slightly awkward transition period of turning this space from Koja to the new restaurant. The pho broth it's not exemptional, it has the usual vietnamess distinct flavor, the serving size is in the smaller side, and its meat (we had extra bone meat) is too ruberry/tough, the house made meatballs has a raw taste... we got their wings it's OK but not exemptional. They have the crepe but shape into half cut egg, that too is not impressive. We had the scallops cut into small cubes of which the flavor has similarities with Chinese clam with vermicelli noodles and grilled. We also have the soft shell crab which is very salty... and they have sauce on each order that didn't compliment the taste. Check in to yelp and they will giveaway their drinks... you're paying here for the decor and location. I'm not coming back nor ill recommend. read more

When I told the server, who may have been the manager/boss(?), an older lady, she said verbatim "Do not worry about it" then walked away. We were taken back because the menu is falsely advertising what we expected to receive and to be brushed off like that, we felt disrespected. It's nice to see more Vietnamese restaurants popping up in Cupertino. We had the Wrap N Roll Platter A and the Saigon Mini Crepes since they were out of pho/broth when we were there. Both were delicious. They give plenty of veggies to wrap but definitely ask for more banh hoi if sharing. The egg rolls were a bit on the blander side, but the sugar cane shrimp and pork sausage were authentic. The ordering system is efficient; simply order and pay from your phone! The place is beautifully decorated and clean. They even thoughtfully provided wet wipes so you can eat with your hands for the full Vietnamese dining experience! read more

Came back here to dine-in, previously tried this place via take out. Got the egg rolls appetizer and pho tai. I will say the portion is still big, lots of meat and soup was flavorful. The noodles wasn't overcooked, making the eating experience enjoyable. Price wise, the pho tai is what I would normally pay for a pho dac biet (which includes tripe, tendon, aka more variety of meat). I did wish there was more meat in the eggrolls and bigger portion of it. Staff was quick to seat us and took our orders and the inside has digital arts on the walls which was cool. Overall, not the best Vietnamese place I've tried but it is a decent place where I see myself coming back. I'd be interested in getting the rice plates next time! read more

I was so excited when we saw this place pop up on yelp. I would love to have a Vietnamese place closer to the peninsula. We went there for dinner . The place was quite empty when we arrived but we waited a bit because the two men working there were busy re-arranging furniture. We ordered the scallops, tamarind soft shelled crab, pho, the grilled chicken rice dish and the grilled pork skewers bento box 1) the grilled scallop was good. A bit small but had a good char without being dry 2) the tamarind crab tasted like salt and butter. No tamarind taste at all. It was overwhelmingly salty , we couldn't finish it because it just tasted so awkward. 3) the pho was bland and the meat was too thick, our kids kept wanting to spit it out because they were chewing forever 4) the rice dishes where really a let down. The meats were okay. Pork was too fatty. . Nothing very special but they come with an egg cake which was disgusting. It was so dry and looked like it was made last week and left out to dry. We asked the waiter if this was normal and he said no and they they've had other complaints recently. But he didn't offer to replace it or anything. He just said he'd tell the kitchen. We showed him how we couldn't even cut into it and it was a foul brown instead of a yellow color. I'm surprise they attempted to do nothing about it. The egg roll was also super dry, there was no filling, just dry staleness. They both look nothing like what they advertise. See pictures. We went to Saigon Blvd today. Loved the food we tried ...something light: chicken skewer bowl...and heavy: rare steak phở -- the flavors and spices and quality and freshness all worked out well. They still have Koja Kitchen food on one side, but we ate on the Saigon Blvd side -- you sit at table but order from QR code website menu, which was actually well organized. We went at 3:30, so empty (and great service) but the lounge looked it'd be fun with a group, so I'll be back for drinks some future happy hour. read more

Pho is my jam. I have been living nearby for 5 years wishing there was somewhere walkable to get some dang soup! this winter/ spring has been cold and wet. and just when I thought id never get some delicious soup near by, Saigon Blvd opened their doors (insert cry face emoji)!! First of all, I have never had a better experience with a restaurants staff. Our waiter was not just kind, but genuinely wanted to help. this isn't a restaurant where they hand you menus; you walk in, they seat you and you order everything from a QR code. Some people may not like this, but I sure do! This makes its easier than flipping through pages. I have been there a few times and each time they do not disappoint! If you look at my reviews, you will see I really love Asian food, specifically Pho. I appreciate clean ingredients, flavorful broths, well seasoned meats. the seating area is absolutely stunning. trellises with flowers and lanterns hang above head, and protected images on the walls. its a magical little area. I had the beef pho with meatballs. The broth is rich tasting but could use a bit more salt to stand up better in flavor when other things are mixed in. The toppings were a bit lacking compared to other pho places, though the meatballs are above average. Also, they served it with a lemon wedge rather than lime, which I found unusual. Not bad!!! It fills the void of Vietnamese food in Cupertino and I was pleasantly surprised, it was pretty authentic. Small menu but a few favorites. No pho combo but 2 kinds of pho and very decent and they don't skimp, on portions. The combo platters are generous as well and plated beautifully. The interior is a mix of Saigon new school era, and some anime/AI feels... lol. The layment of the tables feels a little strange but it works I suppose. The table names/numbers are unique and cute. The egg coffee was good but I drank the coffee part with no issues then realized the egg cream part was leftover. So I think it's viet coffee (with dairy already) and then egg cream on top?? Service was good as well, you can order with a server or with QR code. Each table is stocked with nearly everything you would need. Wanted to go to kura sushi but the wait was 70 minutes and this was next door. Nothing special like all pho you are given a giant bowl but hardly any noodles and meat. I can't tell the difference between phos but I have to lower this rating because the pieces of meat were like shredded and it was so hard to pick them out and eat them with the noodles. The service was really good. The environment was interesting with lots of projections on walls and it felt kind of like a gaming cafe idk. Price is also very reasonable. 2 - Fine vermicelli noodles: 3 stars -- too chewy - needs to be softer. 3 - Grilled beef wrapped in sweet onion: 3 stars -- Beef should be more tender, tasty but meat also had a slight smell...seems the beef might be old or left outside too long. 4 - Daikon/carrot condiments: 0 and 0 star -- The daikon tasted very bad - it seems like someone forgot to put this in the fridge the night before and it got rotten. Had one bite and spit it out immediately because it was so bad. 5 - Why are telephone calls not being answered? Called to find out the exact location but no answer - phone keeps ringing for awhile and then goes to a voicemail box? It's in the early afternoon and there was no one in the restaurant when we came...so why are the workers not answering the call? The FOOD IS SO DELICIOUS. We tried Pho and omg it was so good. We ate too fast and forgot to take pictures. Since we were so full from Pho, we came back again for lunch and dinner and then lunch again. That how good the food was for us. We tried tamarind prawns and soft shell crabs with a side of rice. The flavor was very savory and texture was so on point. Oh man!! Spring rolls is super fresh and the sauce for it is bomb.com. We are picky Vietnamese eaters and we normally got disappointed of Vietnamese food in east San Jose. So happy that we found this Vietnamese food gem in Cupertino. The staffs are very nice and friendly. They came to check on us if we needed anything and if we were happy with the food. I love how they were very attentive. Ambiance is nice as well. Went there for the first time last evening. I ordered a Rare Steak Pho and my husband ordered the Jurassic Pho. The broth was very tasty, I can definitely tell it apart from the others. However, I was unable to get my rare steak to 'cook' a bit more because the broth was not cooking temperature and I didn't expect it to, because that would be dangerous. As a result, I got a bad tummy ache pretty much as soon as I got home. I have been having diarrhea last night and today (it is 3pm and I just went the 6th time today). Terrible! read more

First time visit and I'm completely impressed. Environment is happy, casual and clean. There are even hand wipes at my table! Ordering is convenient. With the QR code on table, I can place my order separately from the rest of the group I'm sitting with (or together) and choose to keep open tab or close tab.
