There's not many great pho places in LA, but I truly believe this place is a hidden gem and it's always packed for good reason. They have a very wide menu with a lot of authentic Vietnamese dishes. I was eyeing the dry noodles, but I really wanted to try their pho. I got the number 13 and added tendon to it. Service was pretty quick and came out within 5 minutes. The portion was pretty large and I was almost full halfway through my bowl. The broth was super flavorful and they added an even ratio of meat to noodles. The meat was super tender just melts in your mouth. All that for $10 is amazing, especially being in LA. Definitely will be coming back to try their other options! Plenty of parking in the plaza. We came at night, so the lot wasn't as full. I thought the service was great. A lot of people were complaining, but I thought they were pretty friendly and did a great job. On Yelp, it says they close at 8:30pm, but we called beforehand and they close at 9pm, but last call for kitchen is 8:30pm. Check this place out, you won't regret it! read more

The broth was decent I've had way flavorful broth which is at San Gabriel "Golden Deli". But what I really like about this place was there portion of XL bowl no skimping out and if you want XL extra large you get XL. What really got me going was there egg rolls. Those pork egg rolls we got was Bussin and let me tell you them egg rolls are hefty!.I came around 5 ish pm on a Saturday around 6 started to be busy. Place is nice and simple. This is my new favorite go-to pho spot now. Previously, I had frequented a couple other pho places in Gardena. However, even with those places, the quality of their phos were inconsistent. Sometimes, my pho was too oily where I had to dab out the grease with my napkin. In addition to that, the meats were sometimes overcooked or mainly fatty vs lean. It was a hit or miss. Anyways, I'm glad I was introduced to Saigon Dish by my wifey. Tanks wifey. The Food: I've only had the pho or spring rolls. The pho was amaze-balls. I had the pho with the filet mignon meats. Yup, they offer filet mignon y'all. That's quality meat right there. The meat was tender def. not overcooked. Other pho places just use cheap quality meat slices. Saigon is def. a step up with the rest of them. The spring rolls (goi cuon) were good. It came with a sweet peanut dipping sauce if my memory serves me correctly. My wife enjoyed it more than I did. I'm just more of the main dish kinda guy. The Service: My wifey and I came for both lunch and dinner time on separate occasions. It was super busy during lunch and dinner rushes so be mindful of that. Regardless, we were seated fairly promptly. The busser was attentive and prompt. Our food came out promptly. And no, the bussers here don't bathe their thumb in the pho when they bring it out to you. The Ambiance: Parking in the plaza can get pretty crowded so be prepared. There's a lot of seating inside but some areas may feel a bit crammed. Again it can get busy on lunch and dinner rushes. Go off-peak if you're able. All in all, YASSSSS, if you love pho, you must check this place out. I would def. recommend this place to my family and friends. I thought the broth and noodles was ok compared to others I had at Orange County. The meat was a little tough. Despite all the high reviews and accolades from a friend, I was very disappointed. Banh mi with beef: Bread was not fresh and not toasted enough; Meat was dry; and no aioli or mayo. Bun rieu (Crab and pork tomato soup. A Northern Vietnamese specialty featuring thin rice noodles, stewed tomato, thin slices of sausages, tofu, crab & pork meat clusters): Had no crab in there. Bun Tom Cha Gio Thit Nuong (Grilled shrimp, grilled pork, egg rolls noodle salad): Shrimp was old and overcooked. Pork was dry. Eggrolls were SOFT, not crunchy, and barely warm with very little meat. Rest (noodles, chopped vegetables, etc. were okay and the sauce was a little spicy). Place was fairly busy for a Wed afternoon from 1:30 to 3:00pm. 5% off bill if you pay with cash, although I didn't check to see if that happened. Would not go back or recommend. read more

tldr; delicious Vietnamese food, great outdoor seating, amazing staff! I went for an early lunch and there was plenty of room in the outdoor seating-- plus a canopy and fans to keep the heat away. As the lunch rush came in, it got a bit busier so I would recommend coming earlier if you can! The restaurant is in a strip mall, so plenty of free parking to choose from. Their pho is really flavorful, similar to a bone broth rather than super spiced which I prefer. The regular was a really generous serving, so I would recommend getting a small and then trying some of the rolls or other dishes if you're still hungry! What can I say about Saigon dish that you can't already see in the absolutely delicious food pics I've posted. The fam loves this place. My #1 is the 13A. Filet mignon Pho. With added fried onions and garlic. Comes with a bundle of sprouts and holy basil, jalapeño and lemons to squeeze. My Fav!!! Clean broth. Full of flavor. I'm a big dud3 and the Regular is more then enough to fill me up and leave me completely satisfied everytime. My second #1 dish is the Luc Lac beef. Aka:Shaken Beef. OMG so tender so flavorful and just enough. But I like it so much I end up asking for extra meat. If your a big steak eater, double up the meat. You won't be disappointed, it's a bit sweet. Just a touch. So if you like that, then this is your jam. My third #1 is the Cornish Hen, so tiny, so full of flavor. It comes with a small bowl of broth from the chicken baste to dip or pour over your yellow rice to add that extra flavor profile and kick it up a Ladder worth. :) I recommend this for kids if they want nothing but chicken here. Appetizer for me is the Veg spring rolls. Great taste and made fresh everytime. So wonderful to have this here. Crunchy and slightly chewy inside.
