A SECRET GEM IN YORBA LINDA BOULEVARD. It'sfamily own. It's one of the BEST PHO BROTHS I've had. They use good quality water on soup. The whole team is very good

Saigon Noodle House is the place to go for definitely! Signature shrimp fried rice Tasty PHở in rain day!!!

    So good!!!!!!

Always authentic, delicious, fresh and consistent! I have been coming here over 18 years! The owner is so nice and always friendly. My favorite is the Pho Tai and the Bo Luc Lac accompanied with traditional egg rolls and a Cafe Su da to go!!! Support Small Business!! Places like these are the place to eat!!!!!!

This whole shopping area has been remodeled recently and looks great. Inside was a bit dark and part of the place was used as storage. The guy helping us was hanging out with his friend so he never came to refill our drinks or ask us if we needed anything after our initial order. The food was ok... not the worst but defs not the best.

I have been eating at the Saigon Noodle House for many years. It seems to be family run, which is fine by me. The food is always good. I always enjoy their phở. Today I had a bánh mì gà nướng. The bread was nice and crunchy, if you like crunchy. I enjoyed the taste. If you are in North Orange County give them a try..

Delicious Pho! Great service, clean restaurant, good portions and prices! We were given a free drink for our purchase. Will definitely be going back!

My friends and I went to this place on a Saturday for lunch, and despite going on a Saturday, it wasn't really busy, so we were able to get a table pretty quick. Service was fast, the restaurant was small and quaint, and the food was really tasty! The prices were decent and the portions were a decent size. We would definitely come back again for sure!

Im gonna give it a 4 . There's always room for imporvement and levveling your food up. We ordered a couple pho dac biet, pad thai and vietnamese egg rolls. Food was good and has the veitnamese clean taste on the palate. I would not say its the best nor its bad or average, just a little bit more of flavour and it'll get there. Me and my husband would still love to comeback and try the banh mi next time.

It's a windy day today, the cold air blowing against your face making you wish for that moment Summer was back. Although not so cold to where you couldn't be outside, but cold enough to where you could have a hot bowl of pho because who wants to deal with the California summer heat? If you're in the Yorba Linda area, it might not be so easy to find us hot bowl of pho but luckily there's a place called Saigon noodle House. It might be hard to see, and you would almost think that it's still being built but it's due to the vinyl covering on the windows. Which I never understood why restaurants would want to cover the fact that "hey, we're open and come on in for our delicious noodles!" But I understand that they may have their reasons. Now I'll start by saying that this isn't the greatest bowl of pho that I've had. Nope! Not by a long shot although I've been known to be a very critical food reviewer. You could blame my mom for making me that way. But take this review as a lesson on how you can mitigate your way to having a great pho experience. The important thing to know is that this dish has the ability to change and morph its flavor, and you have the power in your hands to do so. I'm sure that a lot of people who come in not being very well experienced with this dish might just start digging into it as it is, which, if that's how you like the broth by all means, go ahead. I always like to start by taking a sip of the broth to see what I'm working with and to me it needed some finessing. (Lingo for the young crowd) This is a fine example of a pho that needs to be tuned to your flavor profile before you can actually enjoy it. Some might prefer a sweet and spicy flavor profile where you would add the hoisin and sriracha sauce to the broth. Or maybe you want a little bit of lime and jalapeños for that citrusy with a bit of spice kick! Mine definitely needed a bit of everything. More lime than anything. With my regular sized bowl it takes about 3 lime wedges, a dash of pepper, a slight squeeze of sriracha to make my soup the way I like it. But sometimes it can be hard to get the amount of limes you need to make it happen as some places are stingy with their toppings. This place we didn't have trouble as we asked for it, we just didn't get the extra limes we asked for until we were halfway done with our bowl. But once it came and I squeeze the juice out of two extra lime wedges, the pho was delicious. I had a meatball pho so you know I was dipping the meatballs into a hoisin and sriracha mix that I had made on the side to alter my experience a bit with each bite. And if you didn't know that, grab the hoisin bottle and sriracha bottle, squeeze a bit of each onto a plate, mix it, then dip your meat into it. You're welcome. All in all, it wasn't a great bowl but it wasn't a terrible bowl, but it's there to help you have a little bit of Vietnam during these cold and windy days & bring some warmth to sooth your soul.

Was ordering at this place and didn't realize that close at 8 when online says they close at 9pm maybe they should update it. They did not give me the right items and probably uncharged me and I was too tired to care about it. I asked for egg noodles and they still give me rice noodles. This place was very not welcoming and I'm never going back at I felt like if they didn't want us there they could've just told us they were closed.

The menu is also not as extensive as the regular Vietnamese pho places; just a handful of pho and a handful of rice bowl choices along with some interesting appetizers and rolls. Service was really good. I got recommendations from the cashier and she checked on us after food was delivered. We had a Beef Brisket Pho, Wagyu Beef Rice Bowl, Beef Tendon small plate, and Pork Patty Roll. The broth of the pho was good, sweet with depth. We love the beef tendon! It was so soft and tasted just like jello! The Wagyu beef rice bowl is like the Korean bibimbap, a lot of chopped veggie, a fried egg and beef. I couldn't tell if the beef is Wagyu or not, since the texture didn't stand out. The Pork Patty roll surprised me of how crunchy it was inside. The pork Patty is like the Vietnamese sweet sausage, I like it better than the regular Vietnamese spring roll. Overall a nice stop for lunch after the Nixon Presidential Library visit and it's only 0.3 miles away.

I've never had to add salt to pho just to make the broth taste like something. It was that bad. They advertise MSG-free broth that's simmered for 8 hours, but honestly, it tasted like they simmered boiling water for 8 hours and forgot to add the beef. The egg rolls were basically just filled with carrots, and the noodles were doughy and seemed undercooked. The service was great, but unfortunately the food was a complete miss. Never coming back.

At random hours, there can be tons of movement outside the restaurant. The food here?? Oh my gosh. I absolutely love that combination plate. I always order the combination meat with grilled chicken vermicelli noodles. I think this time I went was probably the best I've received! My boyfriend and I decided to try their fried rice because we constantly order the same thing here and in all honesty? It was delicious! They added a generous amount of beef to the dish. I honestly thought it was great. Their lemonade straight up tastes like lemons were truly used (we have a lemon tree and it reminds me of my dad's lemonade.) Highly recommend the food here. The environment here is so cozy. I absolutely love coming here at night because the interior is lit up by some string lights wrapping around the restaurant. Great family friendly spot and an excellent date spot. The service? It felt awkward coming in. The 3 people at the counter just stood there staring at us I'm like so do I just go pick a seat or something haha. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely great with my daughter. The one hiccup came when my daughter wanted to swap a meat option for steamed veggies in her pho. Daisy let us know the kitchen doesn't accommodate menu customizations, so we got creative and ordered everything on the side. It worked out, though it ended up costing about the same as a kids' pho for what amounted to a simple substitution. Outside of that, the experience was excellent, the restaurant was clean, the service was top-notch, and the menu had a solid variety to choose from. The lack of flexibility with customization is the only reason I'm not giving five stars, but I'd still recommend Mama Hong's without hesitation.

If you're looking for a Vietnamese restaurant that offers something beyond the traditional menu,…read morethis place is absolutely worth visiting. The food strikes a great balance between authentic Vietnamese flavors and modern fusion creativity. I ordered the roasted pork dry noodles, and they were outstanding. The noodles were perfectly cooked with a flavorful, aromatic sauce that coated every bite without being greasy. The roasted pork had a beautiful crispy edge while staying incredibly juicy and tender inside. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and the presentation was clean and appetizing. I also had a Vietnamese-style grilled bowl with fresh vegetables and a crispy egg roll. The grilled meat was smoky, well-marinated, and paired perfectly with the crisp cucumbers, pickled carrots, and refreshing greens. The fish sauce dressing tied everything together with the perfect balance of sweet, savory, tangy, and just a hint of spice. In addition, the crispy eggroll was tasty, too! - Strawberry Lemonade, $3.00: hubby liked it! - Vietnamese Coffee, $5.45: while I'm not a knowledge on this beverage, I appreciated its flavor and that it was not too sweet. While others praised the service, being a service-can-make-it-or-break-it person, I can't say we had the same experience -- not even a perfunctory greeting upon entering (or leaving); as a first-timer, I was hoping I would be offered a little guidance (with menu selection and paying with my credit card), but I figured it out. Our orders were efficiently and appreciatively brought to our table. Plastic forks, spoons, individually-wrapped chopsticks, and (the thinnest-&-smallest) napkins were conveniently on the tables. We left satisfied -- already considering what we'll try next time.
