TL;DR Won't eat here again. Didn't even finish the food. My girlfriend and I decided to try this pho place than our usual spot. Went on a Saturday afternoon. Not busy; only 1 other couple. 1) Venue Looks big on the outside but small inside. Left half of place had a bunch of tables/booth/chairs all pushed and stacked as if they were moving 2) Missing ingredients We both ordered pho. My bowl didn't come with all ingredients listed (forgot meatball) and skimped out on the rest (minimal tripe) 3) Old Vegetables The basil leaves were bruised and wilted; the bean sprouts were old and the jalapenos were slivers 4) Spoiled Meat The meat tasted and smelled old. Looking into it, it had spots meaning it grayed a little. Makes sense given the taste. The trip tastes old, too 5) Staff To top it off, the waiter was kind but he smelled like an ashtray and his hands were dirty. We didn't eat half of it, but just paid and left. We felt that was not only bad customer service, but rather rude to not honor your published hours of operation. Straight forward Vietnamese Pho. Walked in on an early Sunday afternoon to only a few tables full. We greeted immediately, menu's were already on the table. The booth I sat in was taped up where it was torn. The place is very clean, but shows some wear and tear. Menu was pretty standard fair. They had some fried rice and chicken dishes for those who prefer a more American pallet. The food was good enough we would come back again. The Vietnamese coffee was excellent, but if you want soda, it's in a can only. Service was very fast and the entree's came out separate as soon as they were ready so you know they weren't sitting around getting cold while other food was still being made. It's hard to find a good, legit (not too Americanized) pho restaurant. Their portions are good and the prices are reasonable. I love their meatball and tendon! Service: good. Came in for a quick lunch during work... I was ready to leave because there was not much patrons inside. Just one occupied table with 1 customer when I arrived. During my meal, a regular customer came in, and the owner seems to know him and said, "You want your usual order?" It always makes me question if I made a good choice of a restaurant isn't busy especially on a Friday, but I did come here around 2pm. I had their house combo pho which had everything. And fried tofu. It came out pretty fast! The side fresh herbs were in good condition. They were fresh. No unusual discoloring. The soup was different than what I am used to. It had a creamy taste to it, which might be from the extra fat meats that was in my bowl. The broth was on the richer. It was good. Not the best, but it hit the spot. The tofu came a little bit later. It was hot! It was good. I love fried tofu especial the ones that are battered a type of flour like tapioca or rice flour. Customer service was okay. So this place has good food, but their portion sizes for their rice plates are on the small side. The meat is sliced up into tiny pieces and it's a small portion.
