This is definitely one of our consistent go to spots and honestly I am surprised I am just now writing a review for Sake 2 Me Sushi. We have brought multiple friends here over time and everyone always leaves impressed. The all you can eat pricing is actually really solid especially for the quality of fish you get and you truly get a lot. Orders come out fast too usually within five to ten minutes which is honestly impressive. The fish quality really stands out for an AYCE spot especially the spicy tuna salmon and toro. The no rice rolls are my personal favorite because they are just a straight protein overload crab tuna salmon albacore all packed in heavy and generous. Even the regular rolls have a ton of fish and great flavor especially with the sauces they pair them with which definitely pack a punch. Cant go wrong with the gyoza and the spicy garlic edamame is a must every time. The miso soup is also really good creamy light and balanced not watery not too thick just right. We tried a Hawaiian style roll with a crunchy topping and albacore which was amazing and the roll sizes are huge. My wife got a spicy tuna roll with spicy mayo and a teriyaki glaze and she loved it. And the blue toro was honestly a surprise in the best way possible the sashimi cut was generous and the quality was way better than expected for all you can eat. I completely understand that mistakes happen, but instead of simply correcting the issue, the manager/owner seemed more focused on placing blame on the employee. What was even more frustrating was that the same dish was brought back to me instead of the garlic edamame I originally ordered. I had this place bookmarked and found it through social media on Instagram. What caught my attention was the 50% off sushi, rolls, and hand rolls which I thought was an amazing deal too good to pass up on. This deal is all day everyday I believe. We visited last night on a Saturday close to 8pm. It was a big restaurant with a lot of tables and it was packed and all tables were full/had people seated! We didn't have a wait though we got seated right away. All the waiters and waitresses were friendly but Alexa was our server. I think I went overboard ordering due to the promotion lol. It was super inexpensive and basically the rolls were ~$10 which is cheap to me especially since they were specialty rolls and nigiris were less than $4! That's a steal! Carpaccios and hot items were normal price but they were still about average pricing. I come from San Diego so everything in OC is always a good deal to me since it's always way cheaper! For the promotion I was expecting mediocre but surprisingly everything was delicious! My son liked his udon noodles. We all loved the kama it tasted like it was actually grilled instead of baked and the popcorn scallops were our favorite! It was our first time for that and have never seen that anywhere! I noticed all the waiters and sushi chefs were hispanic and the owner was also there helping them too. Well I think he was the owner he was an older Japanese man with a smile on his face. My go to spot for non-AYCE sushi. We typically wait a max of 20-30 minutes and the service is usually pretty good. We did have to remind them about a missing roll, but the rest of our food came out quickly. Their sushi is "half off" which is a fake promotion they always have. But rest assured, this keeps their prices reasonable for their fish quality. Their American style rolls are definitely what they're known for over the nigiri. This place is my staple spot for sushi at a reasonable price, as the rolls come in packs of 8 ranging from 10 -12$. I always come here when I'm craving sushi as they serve quality rolls quickly and are always incredibly welcoming. I also tend to come to this location specifically as they do al la carte (as I could never win the ayce sushi war). There is a lot of tables available, so we got seated quickly and the servers are incredibly efficient as they brought out food out very fast. Something to note is that I always get the takoyaki here since comparatively to other sushi spots I've been to they do it the best as every single time I've ordered it, it comes out super hot and crispy and the insides and perfectly creamy.
