My party of 6 (2 adults, 3-13yo and 1-10yo) rrived around 150pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was full with 2 party on waitlist ahead of us. It's a pretty small restaurant with about 12-14 tables with a small bar seating fitting about 8 people. We waited about 15 mins and was seated in the inside. While waiting, there were chairs and a table outside with a couple menus for us to look at ahead so we were ready to order by the time we were seated. Menus and a carafe of iced water was brought out immediately. We asked to order right away as my boys and their friends were hungry and we were in between hockey games for a tournament. There's good lunch deal to add house rolls for $4.95 more or a specialty roll for $7.95 to any ramen We ordered the following; 1. Tonkotsu ramen w/ house salmon roll: I tasted the broth for this. Its a light creamy and flavorful broth. Not salty. 2. Spicy Tonkotsu x 2 w/ house salmon rolls: I tasted the broth for this and it's spicier than the usual spicy tonkatsu I eat in San Jose. Perfect for my spicy preference. One of the 13yo drank the entire bowl of broth and the other 2 almost finished their broth. 3. Habanero Miso w/ Angry Tail: This was hubby's. The broth is very good but it's too spicy for me to enjoy it. 4. Black Ramen: This bowl was for me. I really like this broth flavor alot but wish it was spicy like the spicy tonkatusu. Overall, all the broths were very rich and well flavored, not salty. The noodles were cooked just right, firm.with a nice crunch when you bite into it. The amount of bean sprouts and wood ear mushrooms was just right. The half soft boil egg was perfect but the 3 slices of char xiu pork could taste better. It was bland and was not soft enough as it did not easily break when you bite into it. As for the sushi rolls, It was pretty decent for the price you are paying to add to your ramen order. The service was good as there was only 2 staff running the floor. They were quick to assist us with more water and napkins. We will definitely return in the future if we are in town and craving ramen/sushi combo.

We had a reservation made and as soon as we got there... we did not have to wait to be seated, place is small but service is great! Servers checks on us often which what service should be, food was awesome especially their ramen the best! Prices are reasonable! Thanks and keep up the great work will definitely recommend it. Ambiance was homey and seats where comfy. Great job!

I always enjoy this place every time I go. Wait staff is super nice and helpful, and the food comes out in no time. There are also great and affordable add-on combos to ramen bowls (gyoza, spicy tuna crispy rice, full-sized sushi rolls, etc.)! The pork belly slices in the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen are thick and hearty, lightly flavored because the ramen broth is so rich. I do wish the ramen noodles were cooked just a tad longer, but yummy nonetheless! I'd recommend coming here early to find a parking spot, this place is in a small strip mall and the lot can fill up quickly at peak times.

Loved the visit here. The veggie ramen had a huge variety of veggies and the broth was delicious. I also liked the option to add a sushi roll for $5-8 more! I got the Jen Jen and the Sunkissed rolls to try. Definitely will be back to try other rolls. Service was fast and friendly as well. Parking can be a bit tough as it isn't in a huge lot. Make sure to use the wait-list!

Wow! Ramen Mura was delicious! It's no wonder that they're ranked #3 on Yelp's 2025 Top 100 Ramen Shops List. My boyfriend and I checked in and waited outside. They have a few seats available for you to wait and just browse the menu until your seat is ready. Once we were seated, we were quickly served water and placed our order. The interior is small, but lovely decorated. I just had to try their Black Ramen and it was delicious! The black garlic is strong but it doesn't have a spicy bite. Rather it adds a savory flavor to the broth. I really enjoyed the thick cut chashu too. I just wish the egg was more softly boiled. That would've made the bowl perfect! Ramen Mura was definitely worth the visit! I'd suggest getting there early since it gets quite busy and the parking lot gets full.

Sunday dinner, decent amount of seating inside. Menu is various ramen, sushi rolls and appetizers. Ordered the black garlic ramen with specialty roll on the side. The roll is 50% off if you get a ramen. Ramen comes with pork, green onion half an egg and a sumptuous broth. Really hits the spot on a rainy cold day. Sushi rolls are pretty standard and good value with a ramen. Overall a good ramen joint and great value.

Ramen Mura in Tustin is a must try! I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen along with the salmon lover roll from their special where you get an extra specialty roll with the purchase of a ramen or entree. What really stood out was the smoked chashu that came with the ramen. It was smoked perfectly and added an incredible depth of flavor to the ramen. The broth was also rich and noodles were cooked nicely. Service was excellent, the ambiance was welcoming with plenty of seating, and parking was easy. Everything about this experience was on point. I recommend giving this place a try!

Nice place and a good spot for a quick grub! I always love their ramen, and the sushi is solid too. I've recommended it to friends and visitors, and they all say it's a good place to go. Definitely worth trying!

3/8/2026 Update: They raised the menu prices and the add‑on prices. It's not the same value anymore, and the deal that made it worth coming here is basically gone.

We hadn't planned on coming here, but this location had a significantly lesser wait time (instant seating for a party of 8) than the original restaurant we planned on going to. But I'm glad we ended up at Ramen Mura. There's a combo special available everyday that's worth taking advantage of. You can upgrade for an additional $3-4 for an appetizer/roll or get 50% off any specialty roll. We went with gyoza, seaweed salad, and a spicy tuna roll. The gyoza was packed with savory filling, while the seaweed salad was refreshing. The actual star of the combo upgrades was the one piece of Salmon Lover Roll my friend got. She let me try a piece...the freshness of the salmon combined with the crispy tempura made for the perfect bite. I would definitely swap out the spicy tuna roll for the Salmon Lover next time, it's totally worth it! For the ramen, the black ramen my boyfriend ordered was awesome. The pork broth was rich and flavorful, with a smoky punch from the black garlic oil. The Miso Habanero Ramen had a mini minced pork mountain and a fiery habanero sauce that made for a fantastic meal. It's got heat, but the balance with the miso broth and the soft-boiled egg keeps it smooth enough for a great taste. My brother had the Veggie Ramen with the miso shitake mushroom broth. It was light with quite a lot of veggies. Ramen Mura exceeded my expectations. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and most importantly, the food was outstanding. Can't wait to come back and order the Salmon Lover Roll for myself next time!

This place is listed today as having outdoor seating. Is it still available? If it is, is it covered or heated? How many people can sit there? / April 25, 2023

There was no outdoor seating whatsoever when I went. There's a short sidewalk in front and then the parking lot so idk where that would be

Do they use MSG in their ramen?

My experiential guess would be "yes". But that does not stop me from going there with my family. The food is yummy and that is all that matters to my family. 😋

Do they offer gluten free noodles?

Since Indoor dining has been allowed in Oc, are you doing indoor dining?

Yes, they are open for indoor dining.

    Are you open dine in?

Yes they only have indoor seating

    Any gluten free options?

No gluten free, but offer vegan options

What is the best ramen here? I want to order to go but I don't know what to get...

Black Ramen is so good if you like a garlicky taste.. Make sure to add the Yellow-tail roll for $1.00

Do they have any vegan options? I was wondering if they have a miso or wakame style ramen?

Yes, they have a vegan ramen that uses a miso soup base, topped w/ veggies.

Why doesn't the menu have any descriptions of the rolls? Can a rolls menu please be posted?

Sorry, it was my first visit. My son ordered the rolls and I don't recall if it was on the menu or a side sheet of paper.

Is to-go ramen available now? Last time I ate there I really wanted to take some home for my kids but it wasn't available. Does anyone know?

Yes they do. I've ordered ramen to go several times and they have a great container that separates your ramen from the broth too.

Is the place korean owned? No offense but lately so many korean ramen place open up, i want real japanese ramen!!?

It is Korean owned. It was pretty good, but if you feel like going to places owned by Japanese, I would recommend Kairakutei (Cash only), Habuya (Okinawa style), and Ikkosha (Tonkotsu). I grew up in Japan so I do taste the difference as well.… Read more

HiroNori being one of them. Parking is limited in the front lot, while additional parking can be found adjacent to the restaurant immediately behind another building. I was happy to see that you can add yourself to their Yelp waitlist accessible inside the restaurant. There was a little area to wait inside and outside their establishment. I enjoyed the aesthetics of the space. To me, it felt like an outdoor night market, with simple concrete that was also used as a bench if you had the tables against the wall. Up above looked like either linen or burlap cloth that draped off the ceiling with some paper lantern lights. Modern chairs and hooks for purses under the tables. The menu is simple and not overly complicated. The wait staff was great. They were prompt, nice, patient and very attentive. What we ordered; 1) Tonkatsu Ramen - 5/5 stars. The broth was so tasty and really hit the spot. It came with chashu pork, green onions, bean sprouts, egg, spinach and seaweed. 2) Shoyu Ramen - 5/5 stars. I typically find that this broth isn't as flavorful, however, the shoyu ramen at HiroNori Craft Ramen, is well seasoned and the flavor was better than I expected and had in comparison to other places who offer this same meal. The shoyu came with chashu pork, green onions, spinach, kaiware sprouts, bamboo and an egg. 3) Spicy Cold Dipping Noodle - 5/5 stars. I recently ordered this at an event and loved it so much that I had to order another one to go when I came back. I didn't take photos of this one during my return because I did not want this review getting taken down and getting mistaken for the food I received at the event. This meal was very generous at least for me. It was served with chashu pork, spinach, sprouts, bamboo, and egg. The dipping sauce was in a separate bowl with ice to keep it cold, was made with a dashi broth and chili oil. Due to my excitement at the event, I did not notice until my second time, that this broth has a very slight numbing pepper...or at least it tasted like it. For me, it was mild. I do have a high spice tolerance so it was easy for me to miss. I noticed it mostly by the scent. 4) Salmon Poke Bowl (large) - I did not get to try this one. I can't speak to the flavor but I did taste the salad that you can eat with or separately from the poke bowl itself. The dressing was delicious! The large size gets you two scoops and you can see that under the avocado in my photo. The rice was super generous which might have been a bit much, but better to have enough than not. FYI, there is a 17% automatic gratuity or surcharge to your tab BUT you don't have to add tip. The price on your check is the price you pay. Not bad, just fyi. Overall, I was very happy with my experience at this restaurant. Great food made for a very pleasant dinner. Thank you.

This wasn't just a "ramen joint"--it was a masterclass in authentic Fukuoka-style soul food. The Broth: Liquid Gold The standout was always their Signature Tonkotsu broth. You could literally taste the 30+ hours of labor that went into it. It had that distinct "frothy" texture (the bubble of the bone marrow) that you only find in high-end Hakata shops. It was rich, creamy, and carried a deep umami funk without ever being overly greasy. The Hits * Black Tonkotsu: The roasted garlic oil (mayu) added a smoky, dark complexity that ruined all other garlic ramens for me. * God Fire: For those who like to sweat, this offered the perfect balance of heat without sacrificing the integrity of the pork flavor. * The Karaage: Genuinely some of the best fried chicken in the area. Massive, juicy thigh meat with a shattering, thin crust and that addictive spicy mayo on the side. * Customization: I loved that they let you pick your noodle firmness. One of my fav spots for yummmmmmmmm ramen in SoCal; First tried it in DTLA and was so impressed…read morethat I had to def get the ramen again when I went to Tustin last weekend !! The fact that they do all vegan broth - means that they put lot of effort in their broth to taste good and hence beats all the other vegetarian ramen I've tried hands down !! Ambience is pretty chic along with stellar service. Love the vegetarian Bao also. Best thing is I could always stop by 3CAT right across from Rakkan Ramen !!
