The waitress and I'm assuming the manager or owner who started raising their voice and being super accusatory

HIGHLY recommend going to Sake Bomb in Cicero if you want to get hair in your food and then be asked how your dinner was and then be told you are in the wrong, or imply you are lying. The hair was in the rice and I pointed it out to the chef not once, but 2 times and he just kept it moving. I also never recieved my food, at all. Dont worry though they COMPROMISED and offered to take the stuff I never recieved off our check. So thanks for going above and beyond for us! These 2 women in the picture then came over and started raising their voice in the middle of a table and accusing us of lying and saying we "ate all the food and didn't complain until the end" except for the waitress never came back until the end... just like I guess I am in the wrong for not getting up from the table to go find the waitress to hunt down my food?! Ive never felt so gaslit in my life. Truly NOT impressed at all. We will never be back. Meet Shannon our waitress and Im assumingg the owner or supervisor who was a total douche canoe.

The first thing that I noticed when I walked in this restaurant was the smell. It was very strong & unpleasant. Floors were sticky & there were flies flying around us. At this point, I was just ready to leave but everyone I came with was hungry. Our chef & waitress was great but I just didn't feel comfortable eating there. We ordered on the hibachi side. Sadly, I was not impressed with the filet mignon portion. I did place a to go order of filet mignon for my husband & his portion was the right cut (thick & chunky). Not sure what that was all about. I do have to say that my food was seasoned better than my husband's to go order. His filet mignon was very bland. Overall, service was great but this place is definitely not somewhere I would come to again.

Service was attentive, even though it was busy. Parking was easy and location was very convenient. The sushi was good and fresh and your usual variety. Nothing unusual about the rolls but they delivered well. The rock shrimp was very good but unfortunately, inundated with the sauce. Did my best in wiping off most of it. Not the best that I have had, but certainly one of the best in Syracuse.

It was delish per norm! Hubby and I went for lunch hibachi and the price is amazing. The portions are huge. The customer service is great and if you like hibachi like me this is a perfect choice. It's pretty big and accommodates just about any party size. I am incredibly full from lunch and I took a whole plate to go. We shared fried ragoons for an app. Must go-

This is my favorite sushi spot in the area. The fish is always really fresh and you can get get pretty good deals during lunch time. The service is good as well. Today we got the Sushi Lovers Boat for our anniversary. It was more than enough food and super pretty. We always come back!

Good place if you're looking for hibachi and other options! I've come for both just a sit down dinner to get sushi and for hibachi. There are SO MANY options for the different types of rolls they offer and you honestly can't go wrong with any of them. I personally love the crazy salmon and the spicy girl (spicy tuna). I've also gotten their drunken noodles to go which was nice and flavorful, although I would've liked it to be a bit spicier but I like my food spicy.

I have been to this place a few times and have always enjoyed it. Wanted to give habochi a try since I haven't been since covid. This is one of the only places around still doing habochi. The set up is interesting. We were sat with another family, and instead of spacing out, there was plexy glass barrier between us and the other family. We got sushi: the California roll and the spider crab which was good. We both got the combo habochi of chicken and filet mignon which was yummy as always. The meal comes with: salad, soup, veggies, fried rice or noodles, 2 shrimp and your choice of meat. You also get two sauces for dipping: ginger and yumm yumm sauce! (Love this stuff). There is so much food it definitely is enough to take home. Only suggestion would be for the restaurant to do a little more cleaning between guest, I think they should take the time to wipe the chairs down too between guest.

Edit- after posting review, editing because I noticed another review of people that went today and also ordered the filet mignon with similar complaint about the smell and taste of the meat. Doesn't deter us from coming again maybe just for other items (the rolls were great) but I don't think I can order hibachi here. It may have just been a bad day for the restaurant. We went for a new year lunch date and really couldn't decide if we wanted sushi rolls or hibachi so we ordered both! Ordered: 2rolls Angel hair sushi roll, filet mignon hibachi dinner plate and I got chicken hibachi dinner plate Angel hair sushi--love shrimp tempura eel sauce spicy Mayo and sometimes rolls with cream cheese and this has all of that plus strands of imitation crab on top. I was actually impressed how it was thinly sliced out instead of a block in the roll. It added a nice design on top of the roll and actually separated the taste in a pleasing way Hibachi--came with hibachi soup (broth mushroom scallions) and side salad. My bf's hibachi had an extra piece of something we couldn't tell if it was squid but we just took it out and put it on a separate plate. His filet mignon smelled really weird and we both tried it. Can't really tell why but it was really not edible. We were not going to mention anything since we couldn't pinpoint what was wrong. It smelled strong so he separated it onto a small plate and ate the fried rice and veggies. Our waitress came by and asked about the meat and they offered to replace it. I'm not sure if the owner came out to give us the new plate or who exactly she was, we did feel bad about it and she explained it might have been due to the meant not being drained of blood properly. The new filet mignon tasted better however I didn't really trust it. +socially distanced indoor seating +really great sushi +impressive sake list (I'll have to come back for this. Most place don't have sparkling sake and they do!!) +kind service no big wait +great portions (esp hibachi dinner plate) -just the one hiccup however they were so quick to resolve and kind about it so it's not really a negative as much as a hiccup (I probably will never order hibachi here again though) -too full to try more (I usually make room for dessert and I didn't even check to see if they had any which is unlike me!)

The roll in the front is the Angel Hair Roll 10/10. The texture of the tempura was perfectly crisp and the roll was very fresh!

We made reservations and even on a Tuesday night and were promptly seated (whew!). Our waitress was wonderful. Her timing was perfect, and she even kept us updated when there was a slight delay with our food. My filet was nice and thick and very tasty, my wife's salmon was cooked perfectly, and our son really enjoyed his Penne Vodka. We finished things off with the chocolate mousse cake, which was excellent as well. At the end of the evening, the floor manager stopped by to thank us, and his sincerity and graciousness really capped off a great meal. Daniella's has such a quaint, intimate setting with a very professional staff. Charlie really puts out a great product in such a small setting. Knowing him from the old days; and seeing all of his fun Facebook skits promoting Daniella's, I'm glad we finally stopped by to enjoy a meal ourselves. Charlie is one-of-a-kind! I am compelled to leave an honest and disappointing review…read more As with many in the area at graduation, we were looking for a place to have a great meal and we were excited to learn about a steakhouse that was super attentive and provided quality and well cooked meals. We were extra excited by what seemed to be their signature dish, steak and mashed potatoes. Well, we had an 8pm reservation, which to me is normal time, but seems to be like a last seating for this restaurant. The place was full upon entering but emptied out quickly during our meal experience. It was just our immediate family of 4. Started with cocktails and proceeded to order the seafood trio app, which was good. Wedge salad, which was also good. Had a nice waitress who had a good sense of humor. The rest went downhill. We all ordered different types of steaks and 3 of 4 medium rare, one NY Strip medium. Ordered a side of Brussel sprouts and some other accompanying sauces. All 3 steaks came out in variations of well done - gross! On an even more disappointing note, we were told there is no more mashed potatoes, which is why we chose this place, and then told only 2 baked potatoes, so we had to decide who gets it and who doesn't. A TERRIBLE thing to happen at a steak restaurant, in addition to ruining what seemed to be quality steaks. The Brussel sprouts came out overly well done drenched in their sauce. Bite into any of them and they were totally deflated and not good. We couldn't even eat it. The waitress came back and asked how things were... my wife's fillet was so over cooked the waitress even agreed and offered to remake. By this time it was almost 9:15 and she lost her appetite. The three of us just didn't mention how ours were because it would have just caused chaos that none of us wanted. We NEVER send back food, but in this case, hers was insanely overcooked. We asked to have it removed from the bill, which they did. Regardless, we dropped $430, including a $70 tip (because I am generous... waitress should have done a lot more for us when noticing the quality of what was served to us) for the 4 of us, with only 3 main meals. Just a real poor experience. I'm hoping this was just an isolated happening, but completely upset it happened to us for my daughter's graduation, son's 25th Bday and our 27th Anniversary. All that weekend. Advice to owner: please ensure you have enough product for your reservations. We were not walk-ins. Then, listen to the customer's request for how they prefer their steaks to be cooked and serve as ordered. 8pm reservation should not make a difference from a 6pm. I'm just really disappointed and wish we went to Ts instead, but liked the idea of smaller and more intimate.

We love the food so much that we each order the same meal almost every visit. Some might say we should branch out, but when you know what you love, why change it? From the moment we walk in, we're always greeted with friendly smiles and great service. The staff is welcoming, the service is quick, and the food always arrives hot and fresh. As someone who doesn't enjoy a lot of spice, I appreciate that their salsa is flavorful without being overly hot. Pair that with fresh chips and the delicious, melted cheese drizzled over my entrée, and I'm a happy customer every time. What keeps us coming back, though, is more than just the food. It's the consistency, the hospitality, and the feeling of supporting a family-owned restaurant that truly values its customers. If you haven't tried Rancho Viejo yet, you're missing out. I did not see much evidence on it being authentic. Nothing here is spicy. The chips and salsa tasted more like chips and tomato juice. The table didnt have any hot sauces, just salt and pepper, so we asked for salsa verde so we could add some heat to the salsa, but they didn't know what salsa verde was. My mom asked for just the guacamole and rice from her guac, salad, and rice side that comes with the meal but they told her that would be an upcharge which we thought was odd. We got our food and it was tasty, but even though the menu mentioned having jalapeños on our meals, we had to ask for them as it only arrived with bell peppers, to which the staff had to go and see if there was any. I ordered the seafood fajitas, but they didnt have the mix so it was only shrimp and tilapia. My meal arrived without tortillas for the fajitas. Once it was time to go, we paid with cash and waited for change. To which the staff came back and started giving us back our money. We were confused, we wanted change so we could tip but not the entire amount back? So she went back and the three staff members kept counting over and over, confused and saying we dont have this kind of cash to tip back loudly infront of the restaurant. My dad said, 'can you just give me ten back? You can keep the rest.' It was like they had no money in that restaurant or never recieved cash before. We were offered no other options like ones, or fives. Yet the place was full of customers. It felt bizarre to assume that no one there was tipping lower bills. They also all did speak english. Eventually we just left.

Upon entering, the restaurant has a very dated, 1970s-style atmosphere. While some may find that nostalgic, it felt more worn than classic. We were seated quickly, which was a good start, but the issues began with the food. The bruschetta was not what we expected--it resembled more of a flatbread pizza than a traditional bruschetta. My wife ordered a butterflied filet cooked medium well with a lobster tail and a Caesar salad (no anchovies). Unfortunately, the steak was overcooked and lacked flavor, and the lobster tail didn't seem particularly fresh. The Caesar salad was average at best. I ordered the prime rib medium, which also missed the mark. The temperature and seasoning were inconsistent, and it didn't have the rich, tender quality you'd expect from a steakhouse with this kind of reputation. Service was acceptable but not memorable--nothing particularly wrong, but nothing that stood out either. Overall, while we were hopeful going in, the quality of the food didn't justify the price. With some improvements to both the menu execution and atmosphere, this could be a much better experience, but as it stands, it was disappointing.
