    BBQ Ranch Salad with Chicken
    Makenzee C.

Honestly I used to be a big supporter of Salad & Go, but lately it feels like the quality keeps going down hill. I ordered a BBQ Ranch Salad with chicken, and ended up with practically half a head of lettuce. I thought I could salvage it and cut it up into my salad, but after cutting it I realized because it was still together it wasn't washed properly causing my salad to taste like dirt. I just ended up throwing the whole thing away.

Pretty good. I like the tortilla of the burrito. Great texture. The eggs are fluffy. The chorizo or the meat gives the burrito a pop of flavor. The potato inside is nice and soft. The tomatoes are as one would expect.

I'm clearly addicted!!! The Autumn salad and basil lemonade is my favorite. The folks at this location are always really friendly. Grab and go!!! Highly recommended

Salad and go is a great in and out drive through lunch option for healthy eating. I love the Cobb salad! Great portion, great price, and fast service!

Put bacon on a no protein order when I'm allergic to meat and had hair in my food. Absolutely disgusting. Do not order from here.

Every time I come this salad and go the employees are always super nice and are willing to answer any questions I might have if there is something new on the menu that looks interesting. The salads are always fresh and croutons crunchy like I like. This is my go to spot if I want something healthy and filling.

I'm new here and never heard of this one before but every-time I ride passed, it's crowded. A new friend of mine stated that she lives this place and eat here every day so let's see what happens.. WELL, I couldn't decide so I went with the Caesar salad with chicken and Cucumber Mint Lemonade. Listen my taste buds was like wow... That has to be the best salad ever.. now I'm hooked. I tried the breakfast but wasn't a fan of the liquid eggs but when it comes to the salad, it's definitely a go to

    Dead fly!!!!!!
    Jamie N.

Dead and wounded flies in my salad! I come here at least 4 times a week. Tonight I got a caprese salad before they closed. I came home, added my dressing, shook it up, and noticed something black moving in my food. I didn't see anything fly into it, but lo and behold, there was a fly moving around in my food unable to fly away. Mortified and starving, I decided to grab a napkin and take the contaminated part out because I assumed it just happened and happened at my house. I sat there a while trying to inspect my food and talk myself into eating again. It was late, I'm moving, and had zero other food in my house. I finally start eating again. Inspecting every bite...and then I see another fly!!!!!! But this time, this one was dead and smashed on the side of my container. I didn't get a quarter of the way through my food and screamed and ran away from the table. I am absolutely disgusted and mortified. I believe if I had continued to pick through, I would have found more in my food. I called the restaurant to complain but they were closed. Perhaps a thorough investigation from the health inspector is in order? There are absolutely no excuses for what happened to me tonight if people were doing their job. I feel sick at the thought of eating this dirty food.

Salad was rotten, veggies were old. No number to call and complain. Awful experience.

    Awesome salads

Good Salad and Coffee Spot, Illogical Rules The Positive: The BBQ Chicken Salad is awesome and for about $6 cannot be beat. Good sauce, fresh ingredients... outstanding value. $1 coffee, lemonade, and drinks is pretty great too! Staff is 95% friendly and great! After my last review which took my 5 star rating and highly esteemed favor of this chain away after a bad experience I decided to go again today after months of not giving them my business. 1 star was not a good rating since this place it really a great spot for good salad and coffee at great prices. It's easy to be upset after my experience detailed below, so I decided to only strip 1 star away to be fair now that I am less upset by my treatment by one employee. The Negative: I found it unfortunate to have had a solitary negative experience my last trip in before today which made me change my review. Dripping from from my five star review previously held here. It was a very disappointing trip into salad and go where I brought a friend of mine to show him the delicious barbecue ranch salad that I speak so highly of. We took our turn in the line but had to park our big work truck out in the parking lot because it is too big to try to squeeze around the tight corners and through the drive-through. So we decided to walk through in the hundred degree heat since the walk up window is closed. We made our order and proceed it up to pay and grab our food only to find the girl refused to give us food because we were not in a car. She then proceeded to say that if we were on a bicycle it would be OK but since we were on our feet we could not be handed any food or drinks. I told her I had ridden my bicycle there before and my motorcycle which is ultimately the same since I'm literally out in the open but she literally refused to give me any of my food. She told me if I return on a bicycle or motorcycle that I can have food then, but not on foot. So with significant sadness in my heart; salad and go has lost my respect for illogical rules. I cannot stand when companies forget to appreciate customers and try to make rules that don't make sense like you cannot walk through and pick your food up but on a bicycle in the open in exactly the same manner you are OK to do it. Add a time when restaurants were starting to open up and all the coronavirus initial scare wave was mostly over, these guys literally won't hand you food and throw it away instead of handing it to you.

I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.

NOT WHAT YOU THINK…read more The Spitz moniker is derived from the rotating BBQ spit, middle-eastern style rotisserie used to slow cook their meats. The name of this restaurant isn't very becoming. But you will be coming regularly once you try this place. Mediterranean food has worked it's way as a staple across the country because of the use of numerous spices, it has an undeniable bold flavor that has become a favorite of the American diet. Here is no exception and lives up to the Mediterranean flavor profile expectations with an Americanized twist on the ingredients. I ordered on the app and found it quite user friendly, which encourages me to get food here more often with the ease of use and simple interface. You have to ability to add or omit ingredients from the menu items which makes for a very satisfying customized meal (and only have yourself to blame if it is a displeasing combination) BERLINER WRAP- meat and veg all in a flatbread wrap. There's a lot of ingredients packed in this thang, so for me, I had to use extra sauce to dip and coat it all in flavor. The problem with these wraps though, is that the paper it wrapped in was getting stuck to the bread and would have to constantly peel it off that thang and it was a mess, unless you just don't mind eating the paper for some extra fiber. MEDI BOWL- The bowl was felt healthy and hearty; an all-around good dish. The crunchy garbanzo beans were a nice element to contrast against the other textures in the bowl. Again, i liked it with more sauce, but that's just me. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and I want to try the other menu items in the future.

There was only one other couple in the restaurant . I noticed to go orders and DoorDash orders were being picked up while we were waiting for our orders. By the time we left, there was a line. It didn't take very long for our orders to be prepared. It was promptly delivered to our table. The first thing I noticed was the lack of meat in my Berliner. It didn't come close to the amount of meat I saw in several photos on Yelp. After I bit into my wrap, all I could taste were the vegetables. It took a few bites before I tasted just a hint of meat. This was very disappointing. I was meat hungry and I wanted something healthy with a good portion of meat. I wasn't getting it here. A total letdown! The first thing my wife commented on her Street Car donor was how dry it was. Where was the sauce? She had to ask for tzatziki sauce. I took a bite of hers and at least she had more meat than I had. She told me I could have her other half. She was impressed to say the least! Did we come on an off day? Was there someone new in the back? I suggest they weigh out the meat each and every time to keep it consistent. It was not the experience we were expecting! Did anyone experience something similar?

Everything else was terrible. And please note by my reviews that I'm an easy grader. Went with my uncle for lunch. We each had the three meat plate. I chose fattier brisket, pastrami and ribs plus two sides. This came out to ~$36 each. Total bill for the two of us was over $100 by adding drink, cookie, tax and tip. My uncle got kielbasa, brisket and pastrami. Our guess is that the food is brought in sealed and they microwave or use some similar reheat method and do no "cooking" there. All of my meats were beyond dry. It's really hard to convey how dry. The ribs were the biggest terror point since not only was it as tough as leather but it tasted like it was doused in iodized salt. My uncle's plate was not any better. The kielbasa was sliced and overcooked so badly that the sliced edges were burnt and frayed - you've got to really try hard to screw up preserved sausage. I could only do a few bites and threw it all in the trash. They were getting busy and I was not going to stand back in line with trays of food to broach the problems. They make sure to ask for a tip at time of order but there's no service for quality control. My uncle texted me later in the day: "Today's restaurant was such an awful choice for BarBQ. I can't remember when I had worse. We have to go to a real good one next time." It is crazy how bad this lunch experience was and a rarity that Yelps score misses the mark so badly.

The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.
