This is my first review ever on yelp and unfortunately it's not going to be a good one. This is at least the fourth time Salad and Go at Cooper and Warner has screwed up my order, once they left out the chicken from the Cobb salad, then they left out the blue cheese a couple of times and then today they left out the egg. We pick up the order on the way home and it's not like we have the time to turn around and go back out to get an egg or anything else that they've left off. This is a decent quick go-to place for a salad. They have several salad options and can be made in a wrap form as well. The salads are alright but lack a little excitement. The dressings I've had are, in my opinion, not the greatest for taste. I usually have to add some herbs and other flavoring to help. I do like the morning breakfast burritos. For the price, they are pretty good. It is a quick and efficient drive through. Usually minimal wait. They can usually accommodate special orders and instructions as well. Dead and wounded flies in my salad! I come here at least 4 times a week. Tonight I got a caprese salad before they closed. I came home, added my dressing, shook it up, and noticed something black moving in my food. I didn't see anything fly into it, but lo and behold, there was a fly moving around in my food unable to fly away. Mortified and starving, I decided to grab a napkin and take the contaminated part out because I assumed it just happened and happened at my house. I sat there a while trying to inspect my food and talk myself into eating again. It was late, I'm moving, and had zero other food in my house. I finally start eating again. Inspecting every bite...and then I see another fly!!!!!! But this time, this one was dead and smashed on the side of my container. I didn't get a quarter of the way through my food and screamed and ran away from the table. I am absolutely disgusted and mortified. I believe if I had continued to pick through, I would have found more in my food. I called the restaurant to complain but they were closed. Perhaps a thorough investigation from the health inspector is in order? There are absolutely no excuses for what happened to me tonight if people were doing their job. I really enjoy the protein box at this location, because it's always so fresh, but this time when I got home to enjoy my delicious food, it had Chicken and no boiled eggs where's my Tofu!! I customized my box with tofu and a boiled egg, but to my surprise there laid cold chicken cubes and tiny slices of cucumbers. As much as I needed the cucumber to place under my eyes because they would be swollen after crying about my missing tofu and egg, I left the box alone. Good Salad and Coffee Spot, Illogical Rules The Positive: The BBQ Chicken Salad is awesome and for about $6 cannot be beat. Good sauce, fresh ingredients... outstanding value. $1 coffee, lemonade, and drinks is pretty great too! Staff is 95% friendly and great! After my last review which took my 5 star rating and highly esteemed favor of this chain away after a bad experience I decided to go again today after months of not giving them my business. 1 star was not a good rating since this place it really a great spot for good salad and coffee at great prices. It's easy to be upset after my experience detailed below, so I decided to only strip 1 star away to be fair now that I am less upset by my treatment by one employee. The Negative: I found it unfortunate to have had a solitary negative experience my last trip in before today which made me change my review. Dripping from from my five star review previously held here. It was a very disappointing trip into salad and go where I brought a friend of mine to show him the delicious barbecue ranch salad that I speak so highly of. We took our turn in the line but had to park our big work truck out in the parking lot because it is too big to try to squeeze around the tight corners and through the drive-through. So we decided to walk through in the hundred degree heat since the walk up window is closed. We made our order and proceed it up to pay and grab our food only to find the girl refused to give us food because we were not in a car. She then proceeded to say that if we were on a bicycle it would be OK but since we were on our feet we could not be handed any food or drinks. I told her I had ridden my bicycle there before and my motorcycle which is ultimately the same since I'm literally out in the open but she literally refused to give me any of my food. She told me if I return on a bicycle or motorcycle that I can have food then, but not on foot. So with significant sadness in my heart; salad and go has lost my respect for illogical rules. I cannot stand when companies forget to appreciate customers and try to make rules that don't make sense like you cannot walk through and pick your food up but on a bicycle in the open in exactly the same manner you are OK to do it. Add a time when restaurants were starting to open up and all the coronavirus initial scare wave was mostly over, these guys literally won't hand you food and throw it away instead of handing it to you. read more

Workers here do not know how to properly wrap a wrap. Edit: This location has gone terribly downhill..They undercut each serving whether it be a wrap or salad. I highly recommend STAYING AWAY from this location. You do not get what you pay for. See attached. We've gotten food here a lot. I want to give it 5 stars, but sometimes they are a bit inconsistent with things. Food is good. Sometimes they get the drink orders wrong. Sometimes the burritos are overly stuffed. If you can barely wrap the tortilla around the food, it's too much. And, sometimes the soup is part way filled. Usually these things happen maybe every 3-4 orders, but that's still too frequent. Yes, you guys are fast. But if you just take an extra 30 seconds to ensure burritos aren't over-filled, drinks are correct, soup containers are filled, that would be amazing. I am very glad, however, Salad and Go is one of the healthiest takeout places we can go. Wish you guys had a phone we can call if something goes awry. read more

I've been a loyal customer for months, visiting almost daily. Occasionally, I received a cold breakfast burrito, but I didn't complain. However, today I had an issue again and decided to address it. The first burrito I got was cold, so I returned it. They made a replacement, but it was also cold. When I asked for a refund, I was met with, "This burrito is not cold, ma'am," despite the cheese being unmelted and the bacon still frozen, leaving the rest of the ingredients barely room temperature. When I pointed out the unmelted cheese, the staff told me they use cold cheese, so it wouldn't melt. As someone who has ordered this burrito countless times, I'm well aware of what it should taste like when made properly. This experience left me disappointed. read more

I have heard a lot about this "Salad and Go" stuff and saw a recent article about them lowering their prices. On the recommendation of a friend I figured we could try this place. I got the antipasto with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Within a few minutes of paying from the self help order kiosk my name was being called to the window as my order was ready. I wasn't expecting the size of the dish for the little price I paid. Got home and cracked into the salad. Dressing was in a separate pouch so you could determine how much you wanted to use (great idea). There was more chicken than expected on top of the salad. Enough to last through the whole meal. PLEASE COME TO VEGAS! S&G is awesome. There's no way around that. It's a fast food salad option, except the salads are fresh-made, huge, and delicious. It's actually not "fast food" in any way but convenience. They have a walk-up menu and drive-thru, and they even open at 6:30AM so you can grab your bfast or lunch on your way to work. You really have no excuse not to. Their salads are great- seasonal options, unique combinations like strawberry and roasted sweet potato, housemade dressings, all in huge portions. A friend of mine actually manages to get two meals out of each salad. Add on your protein for under $3 (EVEN SHRIMP), and it's a generous amount. AND THEY HAVE VEGAN PROTEIN. Not into salad? That's not all they have. There's a kids menu, soups, sides, smoothies, desserts, and an all-day breakfast menu. It's ridiculous, and everything I tried was ridiculously good. Even if you don't buy into the whole "salads are healthy!" thing, the nutritional info and calorie counts are posted and you can add, subtract, or substitute ingredients to make a meal that matches your dietary restrictions or health goals. Service is super friendly and, my favorite part, prices are extremely reasonable. I visited multiple times during my trip to Phoenix and also grabbed extra lunches for work on my way out of town. Full sized salads, with added protein, around $8 apiece. Again, I repeat, PLEASE COME TO VEGAS! Literally the only downside about this place is that I am physically prevented from visiting due to the laws of geography. Favorite items: Caprese salad without the balsamic, seasonal chicken and rice soup, the creamy Greek vinaigrette, turkey-cucumber wraps, Cobb plus chikn for hella protein, apple-walnut salad sub feta for the bleu, their OG "thousand island" dressing made with fresh herbs, added pea protein in the smoothies... TLDR: It's uncharacteristic of me to visit a fast food restaurant, let alone to review it, but this place is so good that I want them to move next door to me so I can give them all of my money. I feel like this is one of the best places one can go for healthy fast food! Places our order online and it was ready upon arrival. I ordered the BBQ ranch Salad with modifications and my friend had the Cobb salad. Both were fresh salads with organic greens. What a deal at $5.74 for each salad. They are offering $1 any size beverages and we enjoyed the organic green tea. One hung I appreciate is that we didn't feel like we were cheated with the amount of food we received. I love Salad and Go! You'd never think that a cheap, healthy, fast, and tasty salad exists but it does, and they have locations all across the Valley. Every time I've been to Salad and Go (this location as well as others), the time from me getting in the drive through to receiving my food always seems to be under 3 minutes, no matter how long the line is. I love that you can get salads customized to your liking - one of my favorite things to do is sub out cheese for avocado, or switch up the dressing depending on how I'm feeling. The tofu is a really great protein choice, there's a decent amount and they seem to marinate it so that it has good flavor on its own. I pretty much always choose tofu instead of chicken (or the other two proteins, steak and shrimp) because it's that tasty. I've enjoyed their soups as well, which change every so often to keep things fresh. Really appreciate that they try to cut down on unnecessary plastic use/waste by not giving you a bag or utensils unless you ask for it or need it. Also love their big tubs that allow you to shake and mix the huge salads without any issue. Prices keep getting cheaper as a result of these initiatives and I definitely won't argue with that! read more
