I ordered the crispy mutha clucka wrap with spinach wrap. It was excellent and just as ordered. I also ordered a Mac n cheese and it was also excellent. I went there early to pick up my food and it was ready. Excellent service. The ambiance is very clean. It was newly remodeled and looks great. I will be back and recommend this place highly over many of the local eateries.

3.5 stars I ordered two sandwiches through Uber Eats at a friend's recommendation. It was an okay size but for sure on the pricier side. The sandwiches were about 13-15 dollars. I ordered a Caprese Sandwich and a Sweet Heat Sandwich. The caprese sandwich was very good it had Baby Greens, roasted pepper, fresh mozzarella, and grilled chicken. The other sandwich was a Sweet Heat and it comes with breaded chicken, pepper jack, tomatoes, chipotle aioli, and hot honey. This sandwich was fresh and just a little spicy! Would eat here again!

Unfortunately the food from Salad House was really poor this past time. I love the concept of this place, sandwiches, wraps, salads and the build your own option for me is fantastic. We ordered a wrap and two build your own salads. I went with spinach and kale, beets, pickled onions, tomatoes, broccoli, grilled chicken and the chipotle dressing and honey mustard. The grilled chicken on top of my salad was inedible. It was dark brown in color, hard as a rock like it had been extremely old, unsealed in the refrigerator, or left to cook way way too long. I understand mishaps happening in the kitchen when cooking but that chicken absolutely should have been thrown away and not put on my salad. Whoever added it on top saw what it looked like, you couldn't miss it. The amount was also unbelievably stingy. I picked all the chicken off because it was just awful. The chipotle salad dressing was thick and heavy, definitely not healthy. Overall was really disappointed with the salad and for $23 it could and should have been so much more. I have ordered from this place before and it's always been pretty mediocre for me considering the price. It would benefit this place to review with the staff the importance of checking the quality of the ingredients before adding them to someones food.

Randomly discovered this restaurant and I at least have to come here 2x a month for a fresh salad . The salad is expensive but it is worth the money ( $15-$25). The salad is very fresh and fulfilling and you can add multiple toppings as you like . They have signature salads and a create your own salad. The menu also have a few vegan/ vegetarian options and meals.. The restaurant is extremely small with about 5 dine in tables so I always had my order to go . The parking is congested street parking. ORDERED: create your salad: Lettuce & kale blend, onions, peppers, avocado, chickpeas, vegan cheese , croutons, beets, raisins, carrots, green goddess dressing. CON: this one male employee has a very rude nasty attitude. Not sure if he is the owner or manager or just a angry worker . But I do not like his energy!!

Please check out my photos to see how Salad House ripped us off. This spread is $400. The caprese salad has 12 slices of tomatoes and mozzarella was $65. We have sandwiches to feed about 5 people. The cookies we got look like they are day old leftovers from shop rite discount store. We ordered drinks but didn't get them. It's oppressively offensive how little we got for the price we paid. We talked to the owner/manager thinking we got the wrong order. He was so arrogant and rude. He said there was no mistake and it is what it is. We had to call an emergency caterer from Cioffis to save the day. What a mess. Avoid this place at all costs.

If I could give negative stars I would. My SEVENTEEN DOLLAR salad was made with "seared ahi tuna" came with dried out, inedible tuna. But the reason I would suggest you NEVER order from The Salad House was how rude Ahmad E was. He told me to call uber eats, "it's easy. They will help you. Well, there is NO PHONE NUMBER for Uber eats. Plus this was a birthday gift so I have no way to look up an order number. I realized that he "approved" this to be delivered so I asked why this salad was looked at (by him) and thought it was ok to be delivered, it doesn't even resemble ahi tuna. I thought it was chicken at first! He then began extremely rude. Wouldn't allow me to speak, started speaking loudly over me "SOME PEOPLE LIKE THEIR TUNA OVERCOOKED". Maybe so but I don't! The menu clearly states how it is to be cooked. I've also ordered this many times and it was cooked as stated (seared - red in the middle). I cannot believe how rude and completely obnoxious this person was. This was a "gift" meal from my company for my birthday. Thanks for the horrible customer service Salad House. Never again. Learn how to speak to customers. You made an error so apologize, offer to send a new salad. Defending crap food is just plain idiotic. BUYER BEWARE!

I absolutely love this bowl! I travel a lot and I'm always looking for healthy food at a reasonable price. Today I found the perfect place and they far exceeded my expectations!! Staff was friendly and all the ingredients were delicious. It was so good I'm planning on ordering a different bowl for dinner! Highly recommend checking it out.

    Definitely not shrimp

They replaced and refunded order immediately but unfortunately this really was not the best.

Salad with grilled shrimp, croutons, chickpeas, black beans and Cesar dressing

In a desperate need of quick and healthy food I decided to travel to The Salad House. Ambiance: Cute little spot with indoor and outdoor seating. You can also watch them make your food. Behind the door is wall with a chalk-like written menu and next to the door you'll find a paper menu, build your own salad slip and pencils. Food: I opted for the build your own salad option. You have a base price of $6.50 so keep an eye on the additional add on's that cost money. You can choose up to 2 for the base of your salad so I decided on romaine lettuce and spinach. You get 5 "toss in's" for free which include broccoli, beans, egg whites, mushrooms, etc. Anything after 5 is 0.50 cents. I added black beans, chickpeas and crutons to my salad. You can splurge for an extra $1.50 per topping to add things like avocados, apples, hummus, etc. Adding cheese is is another $1.25 per cheese; I added shaved Parmesan. Adding chicken, falafel, shrimp, etc. is an extra $3.75 - $6.00 per option; I added in shrimp. Lastly, there are tons of dressings to choose from! I ordered Cesar to top it all off. As an extra treat, I ordered a mango smoothie which included bananas, strawberries and mangos ($6.95). What I loved about the salad is that the shrimp is "made to order" so I waited an extra 4 minutes but it was worth it. The shrimp was packed with flavor , just seasoned nicely and there were generous pieces in my salad. I wish they added more chickpeas and black beans to my salad though. I really liked how they chopped up the lettuce and spinach so that was a plus for me. Price: Now, I paid $22 for a salad and a smoothie. I don't think I paid that much for a salad and a smoothie in my life. I did have to remind myself that everything was made to order and fresh. The fact that the food was delicious was a plus too but yes, you're going to see things a bit on the pricer side especially when you load up those salads! Parking: There is street parking. I did not see any meters on the street I parked on and I parked right in front. Service: When I walked in I was kinda like uhhh, where do I go? No one greeted me or asked me questions until I walked to the register. I was a bit confused walking in since I did not know where the menu was but after being rung up and the food came out quick, I would say the service was average; not horrible and not the greatest. Would I come back? Yes, but i'll try the other options on the menu since building your own salads can be pricey (depending on what you add).

So, I decided to give it a try for dinner. They don't accept reservations. I arrived around 6:30 pm on a Friday to avoid crazy wait times, but still had to wait ~40 minutes. It didn't feel very long since the waiting area has a mobile wine/beer bar outside & you're able to order drinks from the restaurant as well while you wait. I didn't come with kids, but I saw a lot of families waiting. It was a kid friendly space. The inside was quite dim & it kept getting dimmer as the night progressed. I didn't love this, but it didn't bother me as much either. Pizza was delicious, and the bread tasted very fresh. The pictures show an individual pizza size, which we were told might not be big enough to share, but we made it work amongst 3 girls. Service was fast - I assume since they're trying to free up tables quickly. I'd recommend going at a non-peak time if you don't like to wait, but definitely worth a try even if for takeout!

This restaurant looks great. There is a nice counter area to order, a really nice seating area inside and even outdoor seating. Some of the decor makes you feel like you're in a household's kitchen. By the cashier there is a table you can wait at complete with local newspapers. It's very charming. This was my first visit and I ordered my food to go. I had two key dishes. The first was hummus with falafel, which is very standard for me whenever I go to any Mediterranean place. When I opened the take out box at home I was really surprised. Most places give you a good amount of hummus, but here it was basically a thin layer. Kind of like a layer of mayo on a sandwich (maybe a tad thicker). Then on top of the hummus was a huge layer of pickled vegetables and tiny pickles. This was a surprise. I've had hummus orders from a lot of restaurants before and I've *never* seen this on an order before. Then the falafel balls were on top and well...they were really dry and didn't have much flavor. Now, sometimes you can cover that up by just coating the falafel in hummus, but there wasn't enough hummus to do that. The dish was just disappointing all around. The other dish I tried were the Lemon Potatoes. They were good! The lemon flavor was strong and they were cooked well. Not the best example in the area, but they would do in a pinch. At some point I'll give this place another try. Maybe this was a fluke (at least I hope so).

Once you bite into it, the chicken isn't mushy at all -- you can actually see the fibers, and it's very juicy and tender. The seasoning is well done and not overly salty. The fried chicken burger was also impressive -- definitely shows some skill in execution. One unexpected highlight was the cornbread. I usually don't enjoy cinnamon-flavored desserts, but this one grew on me quickly. The texture was excellent, and it ended up being a pleasant surprise.
