After being seated, it seemed the waitstaff forgot about us. We went to the bar and politely brought it to their attention. What impressed me most was how the situation was handled. The staff took full accountability, apologized, and even brought us complimentary garlic knots. That's how you run a business. Since it was our first visit, our waiter took the time to recommend some of the restaurant's favorites. The manager also stopped by our table to check on our experience. When we told her how kind and attentive our waiter had been, she surprised us with a complimentary Parry's beer cup and bottle opener. The food was fresh, delicious, and exceeded our expectations. First off the Bolognese was one of the best I've ever had and I grew up with old Italians who prided themselves in their sauce. Reminded me of home. My wife's sandwich was so big she had to cut it in half. She said it was really good and that they could just serve it without the bun and it would be a hit. Ended up taking half of it home which I finished later in the evening and I have to agree. It was a really good chicken sandwich. And I can't forget the fries. They were great too.
