I grabbed some pizza here on my way to a Red Sox game. Sal's is what I'd consider to be pizza or convenience, not really of the best taste. The slices are decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I do recall that it seemed very pricey, but that's to be expected, given it's right outside Fenway Park. I do believe they also sell Sal's inside the stadium, but I'd prefer to eat in advance and not wait in a huge line. The vibes are great on nights where there's a game happening, but I'm guessing it's quieter there otherwise.

Sal's on Brookline Ave across from Fenway Park The pizza incredibly was mediocre at best. The sauce, cheese, and crust were very bland and not very flavorful. The good news is as bad as this pizza was, it's not nearly as bad as the product the Red Sox put on the field yesterday. They suck and they suck very badly. The employees here were great.

Good pizza, stopped in before the Sox game and had a slice and a beer. Pizza was good, staff were friendly and the place was clean. I had the slice with a bunch of meat on it but I don't remember the name of it. Either way Sal's is a great place to drop in for a slice and a beer before the game.

Ate here before game, walk in get a slice. I finished all that. Full and ready to chill. Service was rapid speed and chills vibes lots of tvs

Awesome pizza! Loved it! Stopped here on way to Red Sox v Yankees game. The staff is polite & the pizza was great. I'm from NYC I know pizza, this is GREAT pizza!

A wicked under-cooked cheese pizza...cheese is barely melted

Cook the pizza! Sal's doing themselves a huge disservice at Fenway tonight with wicked under-cooked pizzas served "free" to Babson alumni...they are going to write a case study on how NOT to promote your brand...

I was on my way to a Boston Red Sox game and stumbled across this place. The smell of fresh pizza drew me in as I am a die hard pizza lover. I decided I would eat here instead overpaying for hot dogs and pizza at Fenway Park. Orders a few slices of pizza. Pizza crust was amazing and they were large slices. I had pepperoni with banana peppers and it was very delicious. Perfect combination of meats and cheese. I got full on almost 1 1/2 slices but that hit my spot. Went to Fenway Park and enjoyed the game but did not have to buy anything there to eat except ice cream because of Sals. Give this place a try if in the area.

I had heard that this place was a classic that you have to hit up when going to Red Sox games, so I decided to give it a try during the Playoffs. It was not crowded, but definitely had a good amount of patrons stopping through for a bite, and even some people who seemed to be just hanging around watching the game. I gave a slice of "Bacon Cheeseburger" a try. I've had bacon cheeseburger pizza from Domino's (yes, really) and I was kind of disappointed with Sal's rendition. They add ketchup on top, but do not switch the cheese to cheddar, which is an important aspect of the cheeseburger taste. The pizza seemed pretty undersauced, I wasn't sure that they even put any sauce on it other than the drizzle of ketchup on top. It wasn't BAD, I was just expecting more. Would I come here again? Sure, if I'm at a Red Sox game or going for a night out in Fenway and I want some reasonably priced, average pizza. And I'd stick to pepperoni or cheese, which are much harder to mess up. Although, there are a fair amount of fast food/fast casual chains nearby that could do the job just as well, if you aren't set on having the 'Fenway' experience of getting Sal's Pizza.

While only a few salads and bowls are vegan by default, most of the bowls and salads on the standard menu can be easily customized to be vegan or vegetarian, and if nothing fits your interest, you can always build your own bowl! The world is your salad here! Like most sweetgreens this location is primarily built for ordering and taking it to go. They have a great system if you order on their app for pick up and you can even schedule a certain timeframe that you would like to pick up. You can sit inside at the couple of tables that they have. But it is a relatively small area for dining in. They also have 2 to 3 outdoor tables when the weather is nice that you can sit at. Overall, I really love this sweetgreen! It's in the heart of Fenway, close to Longwood, and a great lunch/dinner option when you want something healthy and fresh and are short on time.

My first impression? Bright, modern, and incredibly welcoming. The space has an inviting energy, but what really stood out was the hostess. Since it was my first visit, she took the time to patiently explain the menu and made me feel completely at ease. Her recommendation of the Tan Tan turned out to be absolutely spot on. Loaded with spicy minced pork, minced garlic, onions, chives, sesame sauce, dried chili pepper, and a perfectly poached egg, this bowl was a beautiful marriage of flavor and texture. The savory minced pork stole the show, while the chewy hand-pulled noodles held onto every bit of that rich, nutty, spicy sauce. Just when I thought the experience was over, I learned the best part was still to come. After finishing the noodles, you're encouraged to ask for a bowl of rice and mix it into the remaining sauce. It transforms the leftovers into an entirely new dish, making sure not a single drop of flavor goes to waste. The entire meal felt like an adventure--one I genuinely didn't want to end. I've always considered myself a ramen guy, but this experience reminded me that it's worth stepping outside your comfort zone every now and then. Japanese cuisine really is the gift that keeps on giving, and I'm here for it!

The menu covers enough ground that finding something worth coming back to is not difficult. The Kale Caesar is the standout order for me and delivers every time, well balanced and filling without feeling heavy afterward. The portions are genuinely generous across the board, and the option to build my own bowl gives me enough flexibility to work with whatever I am in the mood for. The ingredients feel fresh in a way that separates this place from most fast casual options at a similar price point, and the vegan and vegetarian options are substantial enough that they do not feel like afterthoughts tacked onto the menu. The staff at this location are consistently warm and friendly, which makes the whole experience noticeably more pleasant than your average quick service lunch spot. The line moves at a good pace even when it gets busy, which it does during the lunch rush, so arriving slightly outside of peak hours saves me some wait time if I am in a hurry. Seating inside runs on the tighter side and fills up quickly during midday, so coming prepared to eat outside or take it back to the office is worth considering on a busy weekday. Overall it is a dependable, quality option for a fast and genuinely satisfying lunch in the area.
