Me and my family love Mexican food. If you don't see us in a Chinese restaurant, you'll find us in a Mexican one. There are many Mexican restaurants around here. This place is so close to our house. So we didnt need to think twice of where to go. We ordered our favorite items: fajitas and tacos. The steak fajitas were great! We liked the meat cut in wider strips. They were very tender, juicy, and nicely grilled. The fish tacos were also delicious. The fish strips were chunky and tasty. We really liked the generous portion sizes. We were not able to finish everything, so we took home the leftovers for another meal! The service was good. The place was quite busy on a Sunday night. Everyone seemed to have a good time enjoying their food and the lively vibe. We'll come back to try the other items. If you like local, home-style dining, come check this out!

Truly, a neighborhood gem! The food quality and taste are so good at an amazingly reasonable value. Sunday is all day happy hour if you want to check out. I got the sampler platter, which lasted me three meals. It's always packed, which speaks to how good the food and service are.

Return visit after too long absence. In the mood for Tex-Mex so we got two dinner plates. Plenty of food so we got leftovers out it. Popular with friends and family on Sun lunch.

Came to this place on a whim for takeout when I drove by it and saw it. The hostess was friendly and the service was quick. We ordered the birria tacos which were delicious and they did not skimp on the meat. The enchiladas were very good, a tad spicy, but tasty. The rice and beans were also good. Our food was packaged with salsa, chips, and black bean dip. On a Tuesday evening, the place was busy but there were dinner tables available. Will definitely be coming back to try a cocktail and another dish.

There was about a half hour wait (they were pretty accurate in their estimation) and then it took a while for the food to arrive after we ordered (went through a basket and half of chips?), but the food was delicious and the price was excellent! (Or maybe it's just cheaper in Texas, who knows) Honestly even though the food was also amazing (like their shredded chicken is SO tender, not at all stringy or dry!!), I think my favorite thing was the free bean dip with the chips haha. The restaurant is pretty medium noisy

I'd recommend this place on any night OTHER than a busy weekend. Our servers forgot about our party of 7 and the dining room was PACKED to the gills. She ended up comping us a queso blanco for forgetting us, so that was kind of nice. I felt bad because the restaurant needs more servers and a biger dining space so nobody trips because there were multiple loud crashes that I heard throughout our time dining there. The whole table shared jalepeno poppers and the queso blanco, and to eat the boyfriend and I had a carne asada and a chile relleno. It hit the spot! The wait for the food wasn't too bad after we got the server's attention. I'd be happy to try coming back on another less busy weeknight.

I don't know why this place has barely over 4 stars. It's really good. Today I got the chicken fajita chile relleno. So much good meat and I really enjoyed it

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

We have been to some nicer hole-in-the-wall restaurants, that we liked better, and felt more at home. The conference room chairs are uncomfortable, along with the flat decor with loud colors. It is not a pretentious place, but small and warm. We were seated promptly, ordered guacamole for an appetizer, then chile rellenos for the main course. The chile relleno is the star of the show. You have your choice of three fillings, but cheese was our choice. It comes with the classic ranchero sauce, not some of the weird toppings I have seen at some restaurants. The chile was loaded with cheese, and cooked just right. The only downside to the meal was the guacamole. It was too salty. We like it salty, but this was a little much. It was devoured anyway, but just a word of warning to those who don't like salty food. The service was attentive; the lady pleasant. Bottom line - we will be back to explore other items on the menu.
