Went here for some Happy Hour drinks prior to attending a Ranger's game. I was shocked to find such an extensive Happy Hour Menu here. They have tons of drink selections and 1/2 price Apps for Happy Hour. I got a well Whiskey and Coke, their well Whiskey was Jack Daniels, I ain't mad at it! My wife tried the frozen Crown n Coke, it wasn't bad, however, I would just stick to a mixed drink instead. We will for sure come back and check out Happy Hour at Saltgrass again. read more

I've always liked #saltgrasssteakhouse Arlington. Wednesday I had a terrible visit. I ordered the Sirloin w/Oscar toppings the Steak was ordered med well and It wasn't. I could taste the blood after I put a piece in my mouth. I also had the Pineapple Margarita and after drinking ¼ of the drink I noticed a gnat in the glass. I won't be back to this location. We had an absolutely great time at Saltgrass this past weekend! Lyric, our server, was very attentive and accommodating. We had 6 people in our party, and everyone was taken care of well. She had great suggestions and recommendations for each guest. The food didn't take long even though it was a busy Saturday afternoon right at lunchtime. The brisket queso was delicious with plenty of meat. The grilled shrimp and sides were good. The steak and mushrooms were cooked exactly as we like it, and the apple pie a la mode was amazing! The Bloody Mary was off the charts with all the fixins', too! The manager was personable and friendly, and she was always in site talking to the customers. Amazing food service couldn't have been better! Very slow and when you ask for a refill it takes a while!

We went on Friday night when Motorcross was in town. Did we know that before walking in you ask? Nope, and it ended up being our downfall. We waited 20 minutes for a party of two and we're sat by the waiter stand which I always find entertaining. We were greeted 10 minutes later and we ordered chicken with sweet potato side and tortilla soup to start. hubs ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and salad with ranch. Water and tea were our chosen beverages. Now this restaurant was packed! We waited and waited and waited and waited. About an hour and a half in I was tired and ready to get home which was an hour and a half home and it was 8:30 pm. I approached the hostess stand when I was unable to locate our server and said we had tea, soup and salad and we would like to pay for what we did eat but we need to go. It did take some time but they brought me a check for $10 and insisted we take the food with us but they gave it to us for free. IT WAS A VERY NICE GESTURE! I was very impressed with how gracious the manager was. I left the waitress a $20 tip. This was no fault of hers but I think the kitchen may have been overwhelmed. We would go back but check first to see what is happening in Arlington first! read more

Went here on Thursday night for a late dinner with some family members and enjoyed myself. I am not a big steak eater, but I love that Saltgrass offers a variety of non steak options. I wasn't super hungry, so I just had their wedge salad. Their wedge salad has some of the best dressing that I've ever had and I love how thick, crispy, and fresh their lettuce always is! It is consistently good and whenever I get a salad this is my go to! I also love their warm bread and sweet butter--so yummy! Only negative was the restaurant was super cold. You definitely needed a heavy sweater or coat to be able to sit inside. I hope that this changed soon as the food and service were great! read more

Have to update my review I said before I don't go to Saltgrass much. Not true anymore we go about once a month now. I really like them great Steak House. The prime rib is very good and so is the ribeye steak. The bake potatoes is wonderful. They have a very good salad that comes with the meal. We always get drinks from the bar. The bar does a good job with mixed drinks and wine. And of course beer. The restaurant can be busy on weekends especially if there is a game or event at the AT&T stadium down the road. So watch out for that. We had over a 1 hour wait once. The other time we went somewhere else. But that is not their fault they are just busy. It goes along with good food. The service has been good. Watch out for sitting around the waiter stand in the middle the staff hangs out there and that can be annoying. But that is a small thing. Saltgrass is a good old fashion steak house. read more

My family and I stop by this Salt Grass when my daughter has competitions in Dallas, today was no exception. We arrived at a good time as they were easily able to accommodate our party of 6 with virtually no wait time. Austin was our server and he was great. Nice guy, attentive, patient.... All the qualities you hope to encounter when dining out. We got the cheese fried and rattler bites as appetizer. While we loved the cheese fries, the rattler bites really weren't our cup of tea. My children and husband really loved their meals (kids chicken tenders, kids top sirloin, kids chicken and shrimp, and the shrimp and sirloin).... But I expected a bit more in my chop steak. I got the chop steak with grated and cheese and tomato and expected it to be a gooey mess of cheese and tomato.... Instead I got slightly melted cheese and a bed of tomatoes. Really had a taste for a good steak but we didn't want to Spend what someplace like Ruth's Chris would charge. Besides the high price for the meat, you also pay separately for any sides like a potato or vegetable at those high end places. We looked at the Saltgrass menu online and decided to give them a try. We made a reservation online for 6:30 and arrived 10 minutes early. Turns out they weren't that busy and we didn't need the reservation. We were seated right away. Our server arrived to our table within a couple of minutes and took our drink order which came out quickly. We ordered mixed drinks and they were delivered by someone from the bar. I would say that the entire place was well staffed. I ordered a bone-in ribeye and my wife had a sirloin. Both included side dishes in the price. The steaks were cooked just as we ordered. They had good flavor and were a good value. They may not have been quite as tender as what you'd get at a high priced steakhouse, but they were pretty good. The side dishes were good sized portions and the temperature was hot but not too hot. Overall the food was 4+ and so was the service. The atmosphere was fine and the tables far enough apart that we weren't involved with other customers' conversations. I would be good with going there again if we are ever in the area again. read more

Had a date out with my partner, it was his first time coming. I trird it in frisco and LOVED it so i had to bring him. The food was great but, we were kinda rushed out the as we got halfway through the food the manager came and asked was everything okay after 2 waiters had already asked and our answers were the same "yes" the manager asked did we need togo (even though we wasnt finished) we told him no, him and waiter then grabbed our plates and drinks and left. Two more waiters came and asked were we okay and the second waiter was like " have a good day" left me in confusion thinking maybe dining have a time limit of about 30 mins.
