Come once a week between 4:00-6:00 and never disappointed. I am Landrys club member and get seated right away. I always order from 4:00-6:00 menu specials. Can't beat Steak filet for 16.99. No grizzle or fat and served perfect. I hate when other restaurants ruin a steak by smothering it in pepper. They even offer fresh cracked pepper fi you want at your table. Bread is soft and warm and I love honey butter. Tossed salad is exceptional with homemade croutons and ranch dressing served on cold plate. I always want more but need to save room for my steak. Strawberry lemonaide is amazing and not that instant countrytime crap. When I go to the restrooms, they always open the door for me. Very polite place. Manager always comes by to make sure everything meal is perfect for me. My only suggestion to manager was that the waitstaff always give the customer the 4:00--6:00 menu if it is between 4:00-6:00 and not make customer ask for it. Most people don't even know about the special. Next time I dined there, the waitsaff handed me the 4:00-6:00 menu without me asking for it. Bravo! The Landrys' Select Club is so worth it. You pay $25 to join but get $25 credit on you birthday to spend. Plus you earn credit every time you dine. The best perk is you get moved to the front of the line no matter how crowded they are. I had my birthday party at the Clear Lake location in Webster, Texas in a private room. The servers were excellent and the food perfect. We were a party of 17 and all orders came in a timely manner and cooked to perfection. My out of town guests were impressed and requested to eat there again when they come to visit. Went a couple weeks ago mid day. Had the steak with brouchette shrimp. The baked potato was at best luke warm. The shrimp were not hot. Wasn't very good. The steak was over cooked on the outside. Now medium well means thin pink line in the middle. Couldn't find the pink line on mine. Came out well done. The only good part of this meal was the salad. The beer I ordered took about 10 minutes to get. Not very many patrons there either. Couldn't figure this one out. Will never visit again. I took my mom out to eat here after we had done some holiday shopping and I hadn't been here in a while and was a little surprised with the service. The restaurant looked like it had a make over since the last time I'd been here but when we ordered drinks from the bar it took a really long time to get them. Once we were seated our server let us know she had just got sat a party of 20 so if we wanted to we should hurry up and order... we ordered a spinach dip but it never came to the table... my moms salad was great I ordered tenders and shrimp but had to talk to the manager about the tenders. They sent me three pieces of batter with a little chicken in them. The manager did stop by without us asking and I showed him the chicken... he brought me out some fresh ones that tasted great. When we got the bill I noticed we had been charged for the spinach dip that we never received I told the server and she got the manager to take it off. She did apologize but evidently was unaware we hadn't received it. I enjoy coming here but today was a different story. I was seated promptly and the food is good as always. We were sat and we waited and waited and waited for someone to come. Another table that was sat at the same time already had their salads and drinks. So I looked around for a manager and saw him flirting with one of the waitresses and then he sent her to our table when he saw me staring at him. When she got there She just took out drink order and then mentioned that another server would be taking care of us. I thought that was rude but whatever. Our waitress then came to our table to take our order and asked if we were a rewards member so she could credit our account. Then the manager came to the table to ask if everything was ok and handed me the card back. I said no but he acted like he didn't hear me and walked away never mentioned the poor experience in the beginning. When we received the bill they comped our dessert saying they apologize for the slow start of service we received. Really? Generally poor service at this location. Reward points: if you order a lunch special item, the system may not recognize the item as as food, so you will not receive your points. You have to call the 800 number and speak with their client services rep. I did and the CSR explained this and said generally the manager will call in the change. I previously spoke with the manager, who apologized for the inaccurate points and referred me to the system. She also referenced the system as an issue and apologized. Frustrating because the onus of checking points is on you because their system is inadequate and they admit it. Food service:The poor service was a series of poor service experiences here not all parts of the food order were brought out, or at the end of the meal. During today's lunch visit at about 1130, the hostess was gone from the stand, restaurant was not crowded and there was a wait of customers to be seated. This is a great location close to where I work. Very unhappy for our New Year's Eve dinner. Soup was cold but our server did get us hot soup. We always order the same steak but it was tough and not very well seasoned this time and not very hot either hence the steak butter never melted. My husband wasn't even offered a glass for his beer but he didn't want to say anything. Had to ask for spoons to stir our coffee but by that point we were both just ready to go home. The fact that our server never smiled once didn't help either but very polite. I wish I could say they were really busy but it was 3:00 in the afternoon. This placed is great from the friendly staff to the tender grilled chicken breast. I initially started coming here for their lemon peppered zucchini. It's fried and well seasoned. The zucchini is tender and juicy. I tried their new lobster topping with the grilled chicken. Oh my, the grill chicken melts in your mouth and well flavored. The servers were nice and the food was good, but the music was so loud that we couldn't even hear one another to engage in conversation peacefully. Now things took a turn when a server inadvertently dropped a tray full of drinks, some of which were ICE COLD landing in my hair and on my back through a sheer laced blouse. We went here for our anniversary dinner and were excited to enjoy a nice dinner together. We were seated immediately, but then completely ignored. We saw 5-6 waiters and food runners walking around and they even made eye contact with us but no one came to at least tell us they'd be with us in a moment. We waited almost 15 minutes, and almost walked out, when I made eye contact with a waiter and he jumped up as he realized he had forgot us. He took our water and appetizer order and then took our food order after bringing our drinks to us. We waited another 20 minutes before he finally showed up again to tell us he forgot to put in our appetizer order. He told us we should have our food in just a few minutes...20 minutes later it finally arrived. I have a feeling he forgot to put our order in all together. He was not attentive at all. I would halfway understand if they were busy but it was not a busy night at all and they were not short staffed. We were told wait time was 30 minutes. Well, only about 10 minutes went by and we were seated. Our server was great. His name was Jerry. Our meals were awesome. One of the best steaks I ever had. Once again a crowded restaurant that had the proper amount of help and staff on hand. A lot of the parties were 16 plus people, but we were taken care of. We highly recommend this place. Noticed one thing about all of the restaurants in this area of Webster, TX. They are big, nicely decorated, have great food, and the staff and servers are heads above other areas of the country we have traveled to. read more

Saw a large group arrive after and get sat before us. An hour later we asked to speak to the manager who refused to give us his name and were told that employees get and give preference. We again asked for the gentleman's name and were told to fill out a comment card. Finally got his first name (Ben) but he ignored is when we repeatedly asked for his last. Worst experience ever. Went on a Thursday night to a busy restaurant, but we were seated within 5 minutes. We had a great waiter who was helpful and courteous, but not flirty which I appreciated. He even didn't have a negative response when we both ordered water. After ordering, our bread came to the table within minutes and our salads were soon after. I ordered by steak well-done with it ok to burn some. There was some pink in it still, but I didn't send it back. The potatoes were flavorful as always. We were not pressured to have a dessert, but we ordered a slice to take home for later. Both of us enjoyed the chocolate yumminess about 3 hours later.
