We passed Salud & decided to give it a try. So glad we did because it was delicious! I got the 4th & Cherry Smoothie and my mom got the Belmont with almond milk & almond butter (sooooo good!) & she also got a decaf latte, which she LOVED. They had a pop-up for breakfast food (can't really remember the name but I do know they're there Thursday-Sunday) I got the chorizo burrito & my mom got the breakfast burger. Food was amazing! And when the weather is nice, which is almost every day in Long Beach, the open-air feel of this place is perfect for taking a pause. There's a lot to choose from to get your drink on. What's cool is you can purchase some of the juices by bottle (cleanses, cold-pressed juice combinations, and milk). Smoothies and coffee round out the liquid refreshments. They also cover bowls with fruits and other goodies. It's my second time coming to this juice bar in Long Beach. It's sits on the corner of 4th and Cherry. They have another small location on second street but I have not been there yet. Today I had "The Other Beet One" and I really liked the flavor. I've also tried the "cool 'cumber", it was refreshing but I enjoyed the beets one more. Very cute little juice bar and coffee shop. The place just has the brightest vibes and the best people working here. It's walking distance to our apartment and I gotta say, when I start my day by coming here---I have the best time! Most recently, I got an avocado toast and was told I had a free single shot rewards, so I got a lemon/ginger/cayenne shot and the barista took one with me, which was just a cool way to start the day :). The avocado toast is pricey for $12, but it's a decent portion. The Americano was good as well. There's some outlets and decent-ish wifi, so it's an okay place to park down and work for a few hours if you're looking to get away from your house. read more

I really don't know what happened. When I first discovered this place a in the beginning of the year I was obsessed! I would come twice a week to get my matcha latte and I live about 25 minutes away.. But something changed in the last 2 ish months and I don't know what it is but the matcha lattes have been horrible!! Everytime I order one it comes out like watered down milk. I've tried everything from changing the milk choices they offer to different sweeteners and it's the same. The first time it ever came out bad I asked them if they could remake it for me and I could tell the staff was a bit annoyed a did so. I was so lucky to move in around the corner from Salud. It's become a weekly (sometimes daily) place I frequent. Very cute interior with tables and seating, perfect for remote work or just sitting and enjoying the ambiance. I've met just about everyone who works here and they are all great! Very friendly and are always willing to discuss the menu or make great suggestions. The juices, açaí bowls, and honestly everything is great! I've tried so much, from the soups to the juices, to the blended juices, baked goods and the matcha. I think the only thing I haven't tried is their coffee. Everything is always delicious and you can taste how fresh and natural their ingredients are. My favorite thing about them is the lack of added sugars - which is difficult to find now'n days. Breakfast Dreams brought me here for the promise of one of the best burritos in town. They didn't disappoint. Definitely shareable, half is more than enough. So my ex wife recently moved across the street and I was in the area so I dropped by to see if she wanted to have early lunch. I had driven past this spot before and the artwork on side of building struck my eye so I had made a note of it to come back even though I wasn't sure what menu was. Well I'm so happy I did because this place is absolutely amazing and the menu is in line with dietary changes I've made the past 6 months! I have to commend the owner Angela even though I did not meet her. Lilia or Lily maybe? (Sorry) answered my questions and told me story of how this place started. Angela's father was sick and she started making juices at home and grew into this business. I don't mind sharing for this review that I was diagnosed with a rare bone marrow cancer a couple years ago and was in hospital but have been in great road to recovery and in full remission. I have done a lot of research on my own and found an anti inflammatory diet to be the most beneficial to change my diet as a permanent adjustment and that diet absolutely, without a doubt would benefit anyone regardless! Anyways, Salud has açaí bowls, pitta bowls, oatmeal, juices and an overall nice variety of nutrient dense choices with some nice protein options. I personally have eliminated dairy but with the help of (again I'm sorry) Lily, I think, got a delicious smoothie when I told her I was looking for more dairy free protein options she recommended hemp and rice options for which I picked both. All of the good choices looked amazing and I will definitely look for excuses to come back! The good: This is a great spot to checkout for fresh juices and açaí bowls. I tried a protein packed peanut butter açaí bowl former called the white bowl. There's a fun outdoor mural. Juices are already packed in glass bottles and are ready to consume so it is quick. The vibes inside are trendy and hip with lots of real plants and cool tiles. The açaí bowl looked different than others because it came in a square container. It was large and great to share. The fruits were freshly cut. The bad: The space is a little cramped inside but they do have some outdoor spots The interesting: I'm guessing they switched the name of the white bowl to be racially sensitive. My favorite smoothie is Rosie's especially because it has their housemade coconut whip, but you can add the whip to any smoothie if you really love it! I like the Rosie's smoothie with both apple juice + coconut milk. If you're not into the juice/smoothie thing they also have other goodies like coffee/tea/lemonade/cream soda. You can also get their lemonade blended which creates a slushie-like consistency. Salud is certified organic so things are a little pricier than the average place but honestly you get what you pay for! I pass by this place a lot. A popular location on two busy streets. Here was my experience AMBIANCE: Parking: Street parking or plaza parking both require payment unless you're parking in the neighborhood. Seating: Outside and inside seating. Good for small groups. FOOD: San and Wolves Smoothie Bowl (Recommend) I'm used to Acai but this hit differently with the famous Filipino Ube yam - aesthetically pleasing with subtle sweetness then its blessed with granola, cookie crumble, banana coco chips, coconut nectar, and cocoa bits... ooh and matcha too! Refreshing and not too sweet. Brain Latte (Recommend) Not your usual latte. Your not-so everyday produce and vitamins were great but what made things taste distinctly different I felt was the coconut milk, maca and dates. Cinammon-y sweet and not creamy. Liver Tonic (Recommend) Surprisingly refreshing! I enjoyed this drink. I thought it would be this bitter medicine especially by looking at the ingredients but nope! It feels like there is no literally no açaí or fruit in it. I don't want a bowl of filler granola. It's not healthy. stopped by on a warm day and let me tell you that this was the perfect remedy. i typically prefer pitaya bowls over açaí bowls and i can confidently say that the horny corner pitaya bowl (with coconut milk) is my new favorite. the amount of crunch in every bite is probably what dreams are made of. overall the bowl was sweet, but not overpoweringly sweet. i would have no problem going out of my way for this next time i'm craving. rosie's smoothie was also delicious (pitaya based) and i would recommend this if you're craving dragonfruit but don't want something as heavy as a bowl. service was quick as there wasn't anyone in line ahead of us and it's a cute spot for a friend catch-up as they have lots of seating + a restroom for customer use. there is ample street parking as well so you don't have to worry about that. i'll totally be back to try their other items! read more

The store is located on the corner of 4th and Cherry, and street parking can get a little sparse depending on what day and time you go. However, if you're able to score a parking spot, you'll find yourself at the cutest little juice store. Filled with plants, seasonal decor, neon lights, it's lovely, trendy, and trendy at the same time. The menu consists of organic juices, smoothies, shots, coffees, and bowls. They also have a little grab and go section for convenience. I've only tried the juices and the chocolate bowl, but they're good! The green Straight Up Juice is good when I'm looking for something without sugar, and I like the amount of ginger they use. The smoothie bowl, while it looks a little small, is actually pretty filling. I usually go for acai bowls, but ended up trying the chocolate bowl and was pretty impressed! The base was made from bananas, avocado, peanut butter, so it was thick and creamy. I didn't think I would like the toppings mix, but the ingredients tasted fresh and added a crunchy texture that I really enjoyed. Prices are on the higher end (~$10 for a juice), and FYI sometimes the juice isn't freshly juiced that day, which is one downside. read more
