Tried to get Warranty service at this Ford because it is close to my work. The guy who came out to help seemed nice enough until he saw it was a used car that wasn't purchased from his dealership. He told me no, he cannot help me. I told him it was still under Ford Factory warranty and he said he didnt care. "Go back to where you bought it, I don't want to touch it." Just bought a new Ford Explorer Monday and the experience was great. The price on the new unit was super thanks to Ruben Krause. Bought the unit sight unseen and it was everything I had hoped it would be. They were waiting for me when I got there getting the car ready for delivery. Everything was cleaned and prepped perfectly.....right down to the air pressure which is always wrong on a new car. In this case EVERY tire was at 35psi exactly (what the door placard called for). I was extremely impressed. Ruben even ran out as we were driving away to delete a charge for some extra floor liners we had paid for because we had already purchased some in the deal. Outstanding!! Five Start Ford is a large scale dealership in a building the size of a shoe box. The staff is nice for the most part. They are open during the construction of their new building which makes things even more bottle necked than before. My initial experience was bad because of how congested things are and I ended up getting a vehicle that broke down after 1 month. Five Star helped me through this process by lending a loaner while my car was getting fixed. Car buying is stressful especially in a shoe box. Have patience and the people at Five Star will work with you to get a good deal! read more

Oscar in Service is amazing! My husband and I didn't have an appointment and had never been there before. Oscar worked us in, and was in constant communication with us on what was wrong with the vehicle. He worked to get us the best price possible. He had our car fixed in 2 1/2 hours!!! They replaced the battery and had to remove the headliner to replace the antenna that had been ripped off by a gate. He even stayed after closing so we could pick up the car that day. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Oscar is the most honest and Genuine person we've met at a dealership in a long time. I recommend Oscar for all your repair needs. STAY AWAY!!! Test drove truck and negotiated the deal. After all of the paperwork was signed and we where waiting on delivery, the sales person came out and told us that the truck had accidently been sent to a different dealership after we worked out the deal. We sat in the lobby for 2 hours only to find out that the truck we had just bought and taken out a loan for was now sold to someone else who had already taken delivery. We where handed our money back with no apoligies with only a disgusted comment from the sales person that he had lost his commission. Dont waste your time with this dealer. I will never use 5 Star Ford in Carrollton again. It was by far the worst service I have ever received. I had a new motor place in my truck and as soon as it started there was a knocking. We took it up to Ford to find the issue and every 30 minutes they would call and say an excuse on what is wrong with it. First is was the aftermarket Ford intake, then once that was proven that is was the right one then there was water in the oil. Once that was proven wrong there was a bold in the block. Next thing you know there was a hole in the block from that bolt. Once all was said they charged me for another motor. While I was driving home my hood came up, so I pull over to the side of the road and they didn't have the latch on the hood correct so it kept coming up as well as one of my headlights was just hanging there. It was the worst service I have ever had and there were so many issues. Once I got the truck home I found that both headlights were broken from the bolts being torqued down on the mounts and would not stay in the truck, the muffler was hitting the drive shaft when I was driving, and they chipped the paint on my bumper all the way down to the metal. I will never use them again. read more

I've had work done twice at this dealership. The third time I needed work (the dreaded spark plug blow-out on the 97-03 5.4L Triton motor for an F-150) I tried to get the service person to explain why they automatically replace a part on the repair, and he got mad and hung up the phone. Bought my vehicle from this dealership originally. Unprofessional sales staff who was focused on making a sale. Service department is atrocious. Every encounter I have had with the service department has left an extremely bitter taste in my mouth. Service are arrogant and gouge you for every penny they can. They WILL interrupt you mid sentence and tell you that you are wrong in the most demeaning way possible. This has happened on multiple occasions. The salesmen will lie and cheat to get your money. I purchased a used vehicle from them in December 2013 and they refused to allow my stepdad in the finance office with me while they had me sign the paperwork. They lied about the warranty I purchased and when I called yesterday to get answers, Brandon said it was my fault that I didn't read the warranty. No, I did. Your salesman lied about what was covered even though I specifically asked him about the mileage for the warranty. They failed to tell me about the $100 deductible as well. If I had been told the truth, I never would have paid $3500 for a "platinum warranty" that I was no good. My car was dirty, scratched up, and disgusting on the inside. It was obviously never detailed inside or even vacuumed. The salesman told me it was too cold and way too late for them to do this and when I came back for my complimentary oil change they would do it then. read more

Worst service/warranty experience ever! My truck has been at the dealership on a warranty issue for now a week today! I will never go back to them. I bought the warranty with 5star and they don't even know how the claim process works! First the dealership is backed up because of the holiday weekend, they said we would have our truck in two days. Nope that didn't happen. Because our claim is over 2k, the Millennium Automotive Protection, had to sent out an adjustor. Mind you, we dropped our truck off on Monday, Tuesday is when we hear an adjustor has to come and take pictures. The adjustor comes and takes pictures, it took him maybe 10 minutes (that was Oscar told us). We asked about a loner or rental on Tuesday but they don't have loners and the rentals are not available until Thursday. So Thursday rolls around and nothing. Then I call Millennium on Friday (7/3/15) and they are closed for the 4th of July! I called Oscar in Service and he tells me that he left a voicemail and haven't heard from them. I tell him because they are closed. He said that the claim wasn't approved before the company closed on Thursday. I told Oscar this is our only car to get around in. He puts me on hold and then I end up in the service manager's voicemail! I called my husband and he tells me he is on the other line with Oscar and Oscar tells him the line must have disconnected with me and I tell no, I was put through to a voicemail. Oscar arranged for us to get a rental or something like that. A very small car, compared to us driving a truck. So here I am Monday, 1pm and I haven't heard anything. I called Millennium and was told the claim was approved this morning. I tell my husband to call Oscar to find when we will get our truck, it's a 4 hour job, that has turned into a full week process. My husband was told Oscar is off today and so is his crew and we won't get it back until Tuesday!!!!!!!!! He asked can someone else takeover so we can have our truck back, but it is sounding doubtful. We called to speak to the GM and were hung up. Called back and the GM is in a meeting. Not happy at all with 5five star! read more

Not happy with my first (and last) visit to this dealership. Called on a Monday afternoon to schedule an appointment for some warranty work on my vehicle. I was pleased to lean of availability the next morning and was asked to be there at 7am to be first in line for their shuttle to my nearby workplace. I arrived early and waited for my service advisor to arrive. Once checked in, I was told "we're running a day and a half behind", an issue when I scheduled the appointment just a few business hours before, as it was blatantly an attempt to load the shop with work beyond their capacity. As I had driven by several other dealerships yo get to this one near my workplace, I was amazed, disappointed and maddened by their complete lack of caring for their customers. I live alone. Getting a ride back to pick up the car was ok. Getting a ride home then to work then to the dealership for two days is utterly stupid. Rude. Disrespectful. Rental cars weren't available. I left irritated as I had wasted an hour and a half by their bait and switch tactics, never to return. "Assholes" us the nicest term I can utter. read more

Absolutely horrible experience with MR. LEORA. I am not sure what kind of training you have had, but why are you answering the phone and ordering parts for people, when I am sitting there trying to order parts from you? As a customer, is it appropriate to stop talking to me, with 4 other guys sitting there to answer a phone? To then sit on the phone, as I watch you put in orders for other people? Also why did you tell me that you couldn't give me the part number I needed? Why did you tell me the database was different than ford's database? Instead of ordering the part for me, why did you tell me to go to NAPA? After that you refused to give me directions to NAPA. Not to mention, I was forced to sit there as this man, NOT EVEN LYING, spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how many centimeters are in 20 millimeters. After telling him about 5 times, 20mm is 2cm, he said he couldn't figure it out, he couldn't figure out how to convert 20mm to cm, and he couldn't figure out how to convert 2cm to inches. I can see why he was flustered and wanted to spend his time on the phone instead of helping me. A grown man who can't do simple, SIMPLE conversions WITH A COMPUTER IN FRONT OF YOU! Is just insane...I recommend using the internet and never interfacing with these incompetent people. read more

Looking through the reviews, it seems that it is either really good, or really bad. Mine was the latter. My wife bought a car from here a couple years back, didn't have it paid off yet but wanted an upgrade. It was an 06 Mazda we traded it in for $4,500. Traded it in for a 2013 Ford Focus with 50k+ miles on it. We were in a rush that day and hurried through the process, knowing that they took care of us before, nothing to worry about. Sticker price i believe was ~$20K but we were told we'd get it for ~$18-19K. Not bad. We were also told to our face as the finance guy was typing on his computer that he was, at that moment adding an extended 100,000 mile warranty to the car. Awesome. We hastily (stupidly) signed and had to leave. Trusting all was in order. Over the next 3 weeks to a month just about everything went wrong. Cruise control went out, battery went bad, it was sold with a nail in the tire, turbo in the engine started to fail, coolant leak, both car remotes died, i mean literally, you name it. It fell apart under our feet. Took it back in a month after purchase and they accepted it for repairs, after OVER A MONTH in the shop with almost zero communication from the dealership and us paying over $400 for a rental car, they tried to nail us for all the repair charges. We looked up our paperwork. Turns out we were lied to, we had no warranty on the car, at all. Zero. We were also not told that for whatever reason that the car was sold AS IS. Meaning they knew there were serious things wrong with it. AND!! When we looked at the prices, sam pack financed us (which means we are paying) $27,000. Are you serious? A USED 2013 with FIFTY THOUSAND MILES ON IT, sold AS IS, for $27,000?????? AFTER trading another car for $4,500 towards it. That means they put the value of that AS IS car at $31,500. Are you insane? OUT OF YOUR MIND? All of which was withheld from us, the salesman, the finance guy, no one said that they were tacking on over $10,000 to the price. If anything, for an AS IS car, they should take $10,000 OFF! Absolutely disgusted by this place and how they lie and cheat. Of course not everyone who shops here will experience this. This was just our situation. But that is borderline highway robbery. Be very weary when you sign anything. The only thing the dealership could ever do to fix this is just take this car back, keep the money, we don't care. We want out and to never come back again. read more

If I could give a zero I would. I have a 2015 Ford Explorer and needed an oil change, and brake service. I called today to change an appointment and ... I had to go through three different people none of which was professional enough to say, 'I'm transferring you to...". I finally get to the third person and tell him I need to cancel my appt and reschedule. Instead of cancelling and asking when I would like to reschedule he proceeded to tell me he had 16 appointments scheduled between 7:30 and 8:30 and I was number 16 - he asked if I could drop my car off. So, I'm confused since I clearly said I needed to change that day/time he went into all of 'his issues'. Second, I told him I was 45 minutes from his location and would need to wait - he proceeded to say, "Can't you just drop it off?" I then had to explain that NO I couldn't drop it off as it was my only transportation, that I live alone and have no one to pick me up ... I was so angry that I will NEVER recommend this place and I am writing this review which I rarely ever do (it's my second bad review in 6 years of getting services of all kinds all across the country.). He could have made it so easy!! I love Mac Haik in Georgetown Texas and will keep driving from Grapevine TX to get my car serviced there - even though it is a 2 1/2 HR drive. The worst customer service experience EVER. I took my car in for a problem and I was told, after waiting for two hours, that I needed a part that would cost over $900 to fix the problem. I was charged over $100 for the diagnosis. As it turns out, Sam Pack Ford-Carrolton misdiagnosed the problem. The problem required a part to be replaced that only cost $270. If I had not gone to get a second (real expert) opinion, I would have had to pay over $600 more than what I needed to to get my car fixed! $900 is a lot of money for me. I'm a military Guardsman and my Guard money is the only extra money that I can afford to put aside every month. It would have taken 3 months worth of Guard duty payments just to pay for a $900 problem that didn't even exist! I doubt that the "technicians" at Sam Pack Ford even looked at my vehicle. I have visited and contacted Sam Pack Ford-Carrolton four times about getting a refund for the diagnostics I paid for. I waited to speak to a manager for 2 and a half hours today, because a sales associate insisted that the manager was in a meeting. Well, as it turns out, the manager had already left for the day. Sam Pack Ford-Carrolton continues to give me the run around. WORST SERVICE EVER! read more
