He took my expedition to work one day and it decided to break down and we had to have it towed in to the closest dealership. Understanding it was November 20th when we brought it in & it being Thanksgiving week I understood there might be a little wait for its return. Never did we think we wouldn't get our vehicle back for over a month!! Kevin Cunningham was our service advisor and unfortunately left a lot to be desired. Trying to get any updates were nearly impossible and when we did speak to him it was as quick as could be and of course over the time our vehicle was there, the price changed multiple times. Our vehicle was finally ready for pick up with a call from Kevin on Tuesday Dec. 19th. Due to our schedules, We picked up our vehicle on Thursday the 21st. We didn't even make it to the highway before the check engine light came back on and the car started vibrating badly on the drivers side, also a high air hose nose coming from under the hood. Made it home to pop the hood and discovered 2 red, filthy technician rags in the engine compartment. My car is now going to be towed to our Prosper Ford Dealership for repair, something Sam Pack Ford obviously couldn't get done during the MONTH that they had my vehicle. Obviously the technician was less than stellar, if he had taken the time to do a quick once over on the car he would have seen the rags he left behind and if he would have driven the vehicle for any amount of time after the "repair" he would have noticed the car was not ok. I honestly don't know what repairs were even necessary and what even went on with my vehicle while it was there. My out of pocket expenses were only part of my bill. The majority of work was covered under the extended warranty that I have. So who knows what they are getting paid for. All I know is that I paid $652.66 for a car that still isn't fixed. I can only speak for our experience in the service department but I would absolutely NEVER bring my car here again. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. It truly is all about money at places like this. Please be warned about this dealership and their service department. Save yourself time and take your vehicle somewhere else for repair & service. While I did not purchase my car from, people should still know about the service I received. I went during a weekday and it was a bit busier than usual around rush hour traffic but after 30 minutes I was maybe 1 of 5 customers at the dealer. I test drove a used car and had to put the entire purchase on hold because I had to figure out what to do with my car, financing and everything that goes along with selling a car. I did not feel rushed and even met the sales manager. It was so laid back that I should of ordered a pizza and some beer. There is little to no pressure to purchase and the sales team is so friendly and down to earth. When I'm in the market again I'll definitely take a peek at a Ford. Not the biggest fan of American made cars. However from doing a little research, Ford is doing some really cool things with its Eco Boost and other technologies. I'll be back to visit next time I'm shopping. This place is great and I would highly stopping by here for your new or used car needs. Some dealers they're friendly to you for the hour or so you spend there and then they drop you like a boat anchor shortly after. Here, they seem genuinely interested in making a friend and making that lasting relationship. I even brought up 106.1 KissFM's Big Al Mack advertising for them back when Kidd Kraddick was around and almost everyone there knew exactly who I was talking about! Give it a go. The General Manager from 5 Star called me from his personal phone and we worked through the problems I had getting copies of our recent F-150 purchase. Between communication breakdowns on both our parts (mostly mine) my request kind of fell through the cracks which I can understand. Mr. Russell explained the breakdown and offered his apologies which I accepted. I again have faith in this dealership and their management to do what they do best, treat customers with respect and honesty. Maybe the answer is actually when you have a spare vehicle and several days...at least 5 hours! I took my 2021 Explorer in at 9:30 and didn't get it back until 4:15 that same day! I took my car in on a Thursday at around 11am. I had 3 problem I wanted them to look at. That afternoon they told me I had an issue with my battery and wanted to replace it, I said OK. I told them I need my car back on Friday because I had a class Saturday morning. They notify me Friday afternoon they hadn't received the part to repair my main issue, (My Rear Passenger taillight did not work at all (lights, break lights, turn signals)) Saturday afternoon, when I picked up my car, I had missed my class and paid over $1,000 for the repair. When I pulled out, I noticed that the right turn signal was blinking fast. When I got home, I found out my car was in the same condition when I drove it in. Nothing was done. When I took it back Monday Morning, it took them 20 minuets to fix the problem. I ask the Service person what they did different? He said he couldn't understand the what the repair tech said. I am wonder why I paid over $1,000 for a repair that took 2 1/2 days, and it didn't work. But when I brought it back in, it took 20 minutes. While one of my other 2 issues was addressed, the second issues (my phone apps will not work) were not fixed. Sorry, but I gotta call BS! This is a TEXTBOOK "RUNAROUND." I'm out many THOUSANDS of dollars for something that wasn't supposed to cost me a dime! I have actively been trying to resolve this for FIVE MONTHS with the dealership AND corporate, both sides pointing the finger at the other. One side is lying, probably both. It's sad and ridiculous at the same time. My 2014 Ford Focus went into the Five Star Ford Carrollton dealership in August, 2022 for a Transmission Control Module repair, a recall part. Estimated time for repair - 2 to 3 MONTHS, possibly more. I work. I'm a one vehicle household. I need a car. They had no loaners and advised that I get a rental. In hindsight, this is where the trouble began. Per rental company - the dealership no longer had an account there. Per dealership - True. I would have to pay up front and would be reimbursed. Dealership: "Call FMC and get a case number for this recall repair rental reimbursement." (BAD SIGN #1: Customer has to be the "bank" for Ford? Not cool!!) I got my car back in November, 2022 (4 months!), and immediately submitted my rental receipts/case number to the dealership. As of April 2023 (5 months now!!) still no reimbursement! Both sides demonstrating classic stall tactics and CYA!! My interactions with both Five Star Ford of Carrollton and Ford Motor Company have been complete and utter nonsense. No one is taking responsibility. SO MUCH back-pedaling and finger pointing. I am baffled by the things I've heard. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. There simply isn't room here to detail everything. I have a 1/2" thick folder of ridiculousness! HOWEVER: BAD SIGN #8 (2 months after submitting my receipts): Dealership: "They're saying you need an approval code. Did you get an approval code?" Me (thinking why are you just NOW asking me this?): "You never told me I needed to get an approval code and neither did FMC when I got a case number." Dealership: "Call FMC and get an approval code." FMC: "This is a TCM repair. You don't need an approval code. They need to send it through SSSC." Me to dealership: "FMC says you need to send through SSSC." Dealership: "OOooooohhh!" BAD SIGN #14 (3 months after submitting my receipts): Dealership: "They're saying this isn't a good case number. Can you confirm the case number? Yep, that's what I have. It's not a valid case number." I call FMC (deciding to check for myself): "Checking on the status of case number XXX?" FMC: "Yes ma'am. I have it right here. This is for a rental reimbursement for a TCM repair, is that correct?" (Me-thinking WTF???) Me to Dealership (surely, they don't think I'm THAT stupid!): REALLY???? BAD SIGN #22 (4 months after submitting my receipts): 45 minute convo with FMC customer support. She had to assign a new case number because the notes were such a mess. She literally spoke to 4 different departments including 2 at the dealership WHILE I was on the phone with her so we were all on the same page. The dealership is the responsible party. Last word from dealership: "We're waiting on Ford to approve this. I can't do anything until Ford approves this." The thing is - I DON"T CARE who's technically responsible for this reimbursement! The dealership OR the corporate office - It should NOT BE the customer who is trampled on. 5 MONTHS GENTLEMEN!!! 5 FREAKIN' MONTHS AND IT'S STILL NOT EVEN CLOSE??? I tried to be nice. I was diligent. I never lost my cool with the 4-month repair timeline. I was sympathetic regarding supply chain issues and work backlogs. We're post-pandemic and I get it! I called every two weeks before renewing the rental to ask about a loaner to help save money. I used my USAA member discount to lower the cost. I did everything they asked me to do over this entire 9-month period, including things that SHOULD NOT be the customer's job. And this is the thanks I get. I simply don't trust Ford anymore because it's quite obvious that "customer satisfaction is our number one priority" is a lie. Now, I imagine I will get the standard reply from the dealership. Something like "I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Your satisfaction is our number one priority. Here is my email and phone number. Please reach out and I'll be happy to talk with you." NO! I've been "reaching out" for 5 months. I'm tired of platitudes and excuses. It's time for someone at Five Star Ford to man-up, you reach out to ME with a resolution worthy of a 5-month wait!!! My RV chassis had a recall because Ford bought rear differentials from India that were shipped without enough lubricant. Sam Pack "5 STAR" booked a service appointment a month out. I showed up on time and they said it would take 6 more weeks for them to get to it !!! They have a couple employees who try to help, but the are subverted by the others WHO LIE TO YOU. The jury is still out on this...have to wait on what dealership will do about the issue. My son just bought his first car from Sam Pack's Five Star dealership. He saved up and paid cash for it. He bought it last Sat 7/24/21. The salesman Oleg was great. So, I drove the car yesterday to Navy base in Ft Worth from Coppell So about 34ish miles. On the way back home a "wrench" light goes off on the dash and it idled high and slow acceleration from a stop. It sounds like it's fighting to move. lol Called Oleg this morning and he said to bring in next week to have their mechanic take a look. He said, The car had a full inspection before sale. So, did the inspector sleep while inspecting the car? Lol So he only had the car less than a week and this supposedly major issue comes on and the car had no warranty whatsoever. On 9/27/2024 called the five star ford in Carrollton inquiring about what F-150 was comparable to a GMC SLT, and Was told to by a sales man named Rocky that it would be comparable to a F-150 XLT. This is also the third time dealing with Five star ford. First time was a 2010 ford mustang V-8 premium gT from my Plano treated fairly on this deal. Second time was for a ford F-150 around 2013 at Carrollton location trea my Son like a young kid he got the run around we walked out went north to then Classic GMC treated fairly my son was he walked out in a new 2013 GMC. This last time I called talked with A sales man by the name of Rocky he said the XLT was comparable to the SLT not true. He basically told me that if We could get a GMC 2014 with 450 miles SLT loaded for 49700.00 go buy it and hung up on me, I am not no young kid have resided in Carrollton for all 61 years of my life and personal know people that have worked their a long time will never call or step foot on Carrollton 5 star again. sorry five star missed another sale the GMC SLT was purchased yesterday for the price mentioned above. I paid a visit to this dealership on 5/1/21 and was greeted by Eric G. We discussed options and he presented me with a car that was on the showroom floor. He introduced me to his manager Reuben K and he was demonstrated he was eager for business. After thinking about it, I did not want to proceed. I then received a follow up call from Eric on Monday 5/3 and he presented me with a different option which I was interested in. We exchanged several emails regarding the option he presented and I provided him with information he needed and I agreed that I would come to see the car and test drive it on 5/5. I came there on 5/5 about 2:45pm. Eric said he was going to get the key. 10 minutes or so passed and he came back and said the car was not there and that it was given as a loaner to someone and he was trying to find the ETA of the car. Then said he knew I wasn't going to be happy so passed the buck to his manager Reuben K. Mr Rueben then came over and apologised and asked if there was another car I'd like to see. I informed him this was a bad way of doing business, wasting my time with all the emails, calls and coming the distance I came to test drive and potentially go through with the lease. Questions: 1) If Eric already knew I was coming, why would he not ensure the car was available? It wasn't sold. 2) Why would Eric or Rueben not present alternatives to me in this situation, rather than asking me if there was another car I'd like to see. I don't know their inventory. Thats their job. 3) Why waste my time and think that its ok? I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this place and suggest you think twice before you waste your time with this company. And if your serious about doing business and value your customers, then you would reach out to me and not ask me to reach out to you. Bought a 2011 edge from here a few years ago and the experience was AMAZING! After our local dealership tried sale us the same car for $23,000 with more mile and less features. Plus they wasted 4 hours trying to convince me it was a great deal. I got online. After a lot of research I found this edge for $14,000!! I preface this by saying that this is a problem with the Service department, not Sales. However, based on my experience with Service, I won't be visiting Sales. I came in this weekend to get serviced for a recall issue; One a few things I was getting taken care of to get the car ready to trade for something newer. I also wanted to get the transmission checked out because it was jerky coming off starts. Made the appointment online and called ahead to make sure they had the parts available. That was the first time I had the pleasure of speaking to "Moody." He was kind of short on the phone and said they had half the parts for the recall repair, but "85% of vehicles only need half the parts." That really inspired some confidence. Next discussion was regarding the transmission, to which he said what I described was inherent with the vehicle. He also said it couldn't be evaluated over the weekend, I'd have to bring it in during the week and would take a couple of days, with no loaner, after which time if it "fell within tolerances" might not even warrant a repair. I stuck with the recall repair only. I arrived a little early for my appointment and pulled under the canopy by the Service department. A few people running around inside, but no one came out to greet me, tell me where to park, etc. So I parked where I figured it looked right and went inside. Advised one of the young men that I had an appointment for recall service. His response was "you gotta talk to Moody." My next question was "Who's Moody?" because I saw no one else there other than some guy in plain clothes and cowboy hat. That's who they pointed to. Moody was just as short in demeanor in person as he was in the phone. Got checked in and he asked if someone was picking me up. I advised I had selected the "use shuttle" option when making the appointment online, and he advised there is no shuttle on Saturday nor has there been in 15 years. Guess I'm Ubering home, to which his reply was "I shooore am sorry about that." and left it at that. That was around 9am. Around 1PM I got a call from Moody, to which I thought maybe my car was done. No it was just Moody trying to sell me a new battery, oil change, and shocks after the "inspection" on my car. I advised the recall work only, to which he seemed disappointed. I get it. You're trying to offset the labor cost of doing recall work for free, but when I got home, I checked my battery and it was not "leaking" as he said it was, and I'm reasonably sure at 45K miles my shocks aren't either. Got a call about 3:30 to advise the car was ready. I arrived and went to Moody's desk, and saw my keys sitting in his tray. Advised I was here to pick up the car, he directed me inside to the cashier. She said "is it done yet?" I replied he said it was, then she went out to Moody to get my keys. As we were settling paperwork, I said "he's a handful isn't he?" to which she reply a very knowingly "yep." I would almost understand a singular incident, but based on her reply and several reviews here, it appears that I am not the only one to have the pleasure such an experience with the appropriately named "Moody." I can only speculate that an organization who would keep someone with such poor customer service skill in a service position, is probably as lacking in other areas as well. I will not be finding out. As a disabled combat veteran (OIF/OEF) , they donated all of their extra time and money to help modify my new car to make it handicap accessible. Unlike most dealerships, they didn't quit after the sale was completed but they continued to provide the best care and to make sure I was completely satisfied with my experience. On August 11th, 2018, I decided to visit Five Star Ford in Carrolton to test drive a truck I had found on their website that I was interested in buying. I live in Denton, with Bill Utter Ford less than 5 miles from my home, but I was determined to give my business to the dealership that had earned it time and time again. Upon my arrival, I was extremely pleased to see my old friend, Oleg Pilipovski, the terrific, personable salesman who had helped me twice in the past. We loaded up in the truck, went for a drive, and it wasn't long before I had made up my mind: this truck was going to be mine. Oleg and I parked the truck, re-entered the dealership, and began the most grueling part of any car-buying experience: the negotiation. Fortunately for me, I came prepared, and I intended to purchase my new truck with cash. That certainly shortened the negotiation process, and although I don't feel I received the best deal possible (I obviously have no way of knowing for certain), I'm satisfied with the price I paid. Oleg once again provided me with an outstanding car-buying experience. I left the dealership in my brand new dream truck with an ear-to-ear grin. HERE'S WHERE THINGS GO AWRY! About a week later, I received a phone call from Oleg stating that due to a mix-up, nobody had performed the state inspection on my truck, and that before they could complete the registration, I had to bring my truck back up to the dealership to have that service performed. Although this was annoying and inconvenient, I understood that mistakes happen, so I scheduled an appointment and decided not to make a fuss of it. On the day of my appointment, I made my 44-mile round-trip commute back to the dealership so they could fix their mistake. Upon my arrival, I was met at the service desk by Clay Young, who took my keys and said he would call me upon the completion of my service. About a half-hour into my wait, Clay found me in the waiting area and informed me there was a recall on my truck pertaining to a potential fire hazard in the B-panel due to the airbags and the surrounding insulation. He said that it would take them roughly one hour to complete, and that they already had all the parts on-hand. Without hesitation, I agreed to have the recall service performed. About an hour and a half later, Clay called me and informed me that my truck was finished. I went to the service desk, picked up my keys, and Clay and I walked out to my truck. As soon as I opened the driver side door, I noticed a glaring mistake: the weather stripping was not seated properly. It was a quick and simple fix I performed myself in the lot in front of Clay, but this single oversight prompted me to further investigate the other areas they had been working on, due to their disregard of the proper installation of the weather stripping. Thank goodness I did, because what I discovered was APPALLING, DISHONEST, & UNETHICAL. Upon further inspection, I noticed that there was extensive, penetrating scratches and gouges to both of my B-panels, my kick panels, and my seatbelt appliqués (refer to the pictures), all of which they completely failed to disclose! They were literally trying to hide blatantly negligent damage to my brand new, $60,000 truck! What would have happened had I not investigated this problem and drove off the lot?! There's no way they would've accepted liability! I showed Clay all of the damage, and he was sincerely helpful and apologetic. He informed me that all would be taken care of, and that he would order me brand new replacement parts. A week goes by and I receive a call from Clay informing me that my replacement parts had arrived. Once again, I set aside two hours of my day to be inconvenienced for mistakes I had no involvement in making. Another 44-mile round-trip to the dealership (88 miles total and roughly 5.5 gallons of wasted gasoline) and my truck was repaired...except for the seatbelt appliqué which, to this day, remains scratched. At the 8 week mark, I reached out to the dealership to ask about the title I had yet to receive. I was initially told I'd get my title in 4-6 weeks from the date of purchase; however, whomever I spoke with today explained that it could be another 2-3 weeks. She also told me if it doesn't show up in 2-3 weeks, I would need to apply for a duplicate title, which is another $2-$5 fee and who knows how much of a headache to acquire, all due to mistakes made by this careless dealership. In conclusion, although I have been a loyal customer to this dealership for six years, and spent over $100,000, they have officially lost my business moving forward. I have lost money, wasted gasoline, wasted time, and have been more than accommodating throughout each and every mistake they have made, and what do I have to show for it? A brand new $60,000 truck with scratched up interior panels, no title, unnecessary added miles, 4+ hours of wasted time, and at least 5.5 gallons of gas lighter in the tank. read more

2 days to replace the recalled airbag.. and no free rental. This is ridiculous. Ford's crappy quality and crappy customer service means I will never buy a ford again. Update. When I dropped off the car, the AC worked about 70%, they diagnosed it for $140. Told me it would be 850 to get it working. I said no. When I got it back, it worked 0%. I had to argue with them to get freon put back in, when I got it back, it worked about 30%. They filled it to the minimum on purpose. I stopped at Walmart and bought a recharge kit, 10 minutes later, cold air again. read more

This started a few days before Feb 18, 2021. My car was repaired for Lights coming on my dashboard ABS light was on and traction Control and gas cap sensor. Because of Covid and health issues they picked my car up from my house but after they completed the repairs and I paid the deductible for my warranty they were waiting for me to pick up my car. I had to remind Vincent that they needed to bring my car to my home and I needed it by Feb 24th for my 8 am covid shot appointment. Needless to say I received my car late the morning of my appointment which made me over 2 hours late arriving to the Texas Motor Speedway. Once my car was returned I got in it to drive to TMS and all the lights were on ON my dashboard. WHY WOULD A DRIVER RETURN A CAR WITH ALL THE LIGHTS ON. The driver didn't have enough sense to contact Vincent when leaving to say hey the lights are on should I bring it back to the shop. But no he drove it to my house and thank heavens the car didn't die on me. So my car was returned for the second time they gave me a loaner car which I reluctantly had to go get. I unexpectedly had to leave town for a family emergency and contacted by Vincent that my warranty wouldn't cover the work. He ran the invoice through the 5 Star Ford system that indicated it was not covered. I contacted the Ford extended warranty and laughing said you mean I'm paying for the Premium Warranty and it doesn't cover these repairs? The warranty guy checked the system and said no one other than myself had called about the warranty on my car. Because I called the warranty department to tell them the issue before taking it in. Vincent said he wasn't aware he needed to call them directly for getting the invoice approved for payment. I was very nice to have a neighbor let Five Star Ford in my garage after they completed the service to get their loaner car and drive my car into my garage. Now after returning home weeks later my car makes noise as I try to put it in any gear. AND sounds even worst. Every time my car is returned it is worst than when I took it in. So at this point I have paid 2 DEDUCTIBLES TO HAVE MY CAR SERVICE. How can they return a car again with MORE problems than it had originally. They definitely have issues with the service department and Travis the service supervisor is worthless in getting things straight. While out of town I was to pay my deductible but was charged over $1100 to my credit card and not the deductible I was required to pay. I called my credit card and had them reversed that charge and then 2 days later Five Star Ford accounting folks charged my card again. I instructed Travis Doyle not to contact me until he got the situation under control. So now I'm trying to find out how to get my car repaired their while I really want to take it to Park Cities Ford but it further away and I need Five Star Ford to fix all the issues they have caused to my car without me paying ANYTHING ADDITIONAL. I bought my 13' f150 platinum new here. It's been Lie after lie after lie!! I dropped my truck off 12 days ago for an oil change and inspection, I was also going to have 2 recall jobs taken care of. This should have been a simple task. Or so I thought. I received a call 5 days In letting me know the parts needed to perform the recall are on back order. And should be ready the following Monday.. A little over a 11 days. No problem. So I called yesterday (Monday) to pick up the truck and I found out that nothing had been Done! I was told the reason nothing Was done is because he truck needed a drive cycle after performing a transmission flash. Which is true the emissions sensors require time to become "ready" please see my photo attached of my inspection completed elsewhere within 10 minutes of leaving Sam pack. I also added a screen shot of the 8 sensors being ready, this means the flash was not even performed. In short this is my 3rd and final attempt to do business at this particular dealership. Although the Lewisville location is owned by Sam pack I think I'll give them a try or grapevine ford before I could imagine ever stepping foot back in this place Trey Russel the GM heard my complaints today along with the service manager. And not of surprise at all my complaints fell on deaf ears. I was told the oil change is on the house. It wasn't even performed. Unreal! I felt this morning and still feel now that not a single thing will be done about my hassle, my boiling blood pressure, the loss of business due to my truck in service and I hope I can at least warn others. Don't trust the Used Cars. Even a low mileage one. I bought a 2017 with 63k. Less than a week off the lot and I have two fault codes for bad catalytic converters, oil leak on top half of engine, and a coolant leak at the front of the engine. Nothing like having to spend over a grand to fix a vehicle you just bought. Update: It was "as is". I know, you get what you pay for. But one of the reasons people buy from a dealer is they expect that the dealer has looked over the vehicle and either noted or fixed anything that is wrong. Because a dealer is asking, close to top dollar for a vehicle. You would assume everything checked out. There is no reason to try to talk to the dealership again. As I have already called twice and was told I would be gotten back to and I have never heard back. I just want other customers to know, that this dealership does not either tell you about things wrong with the used cars or doesn't even bother checking them out and you just trade them in, clean them, and sell them. But at least you clean them. Rockwall Dodge left all the previous customer's banking information in the glovebox and didn't even clean the truck out before they put it on the lot. read more

Had a good experience getting my vehicle repaired. After they called and requested payment after insurance had informed me they issued them a check. They called asking for payment and I let them know I would check with the insurance company. Less than 24 hours later they called back demanding payment for a mechanics lien would be placed on the vehicle in 2 days. Returned the call and the person did not answer. Left a message and she did not call me back. Text the service advisor and he said he would let her know. Called the service manager he did not answer. Left him a message and he has not responded. I've had 3 issues with $$$ at this dealership. They have yet to refund my $250 insurance deductible from 2018. When I purchased my vehicle I paid for something and they could not deliver. I requested a refund and it took multiple calls and 4 years to get the $$$ back. Incorrect amount was sent but getting $0.01 back from them was a victory. This was our first experience with 5-Star Ford in Carrolton, and overall I have to say that this dealership, on the whole, works hard to take care of the customer. Despite a bittersweet experience with our salesperson, Alex Ruvalcaba, everybody worked hard to ensure we were happy with our purchase, none more than Alexandra Benvenuto. I cannot give the dealership 5 stars, because our salesperson, Alex Ruvalcaba, was far too typical of a car salesman. Once the sell was complete, Alex was no longer interested in taking care of our concerns. We purchased a 5 year old truck that was a certified pre-owned vehicle. After getting the truck home, we discovered a variety of issues that needed to be addressed, some more significant than others, but all of which should have been caught and addressed as part of the nearly 200 point inspection that should have taken place. Mr. Ruvalcaba treated the purchase like we bought a piece of junk off some tote-the-note lot rather than taking care of us, going on to complain that we were "mad at him" for things that weren't his fault. I had to explain to him, as if to a child, that I wasn't mad at him, but that he was my single point of contact and should be handling things differently. Fortunately, Alex Benvenuto picked up the ball and addressed all the issues and concerns we had without question. She sent a driver across D/FW to pick up the truck while I was at work, got all the issues addressed, and had the truck back to me by the end of the day. Thank you, Mrs. Benvenuto! Later, I found a couple of other issues; nothing major, but the kind of things that should have been fixed in advance. I contacted Dennis White, Mr. Ruvalcaba's sales manager, who had been pulled into this earlier in the process. Mr. White made arrangements to have the issues fixed, so I took the truck to have the items addressed. I give Mr. White 4/5 stars, because he never spoke to me while I was there, never apologized for the issues - never even personally acknowledged I was there. I assume this is part of the ridiculous hierarchy of car sales where people like him don't have to talk to customers - just one of the reasons I hate buying a vehicle. That said, he arranged for the issues to be resolved, and in the end, that is what I wanted. All in all, I am very pleased with the price of the truck we purchased. We looked everywhere, and in the midst of the chip shortage, Sam Pack had that hidden treasure for the right price. Ultimately, the service was good, but not excellent. There were standouts in customer care such as Mrs. Benvenuto as well as those that seem to not care at all, such as Mr. Ruvalcaba. I would definitely recommend purchasing from this dealership, and I would recommend the internet sales experience. However, I, personally, will not deal with Mr. Ruvalcaba again and suggest working with other professionals at the dealership if you want a better experience. On another note, I feel I should mention Mr. Trey Russell. In the midst of my frustrating interactions with our salesperson, I left a less than stellar review through another site. Mr. Russell left a response to the review apologizing with instructions for how to reach out to him via email. I did so, and never heard from him. I had done quite a bit of research online on my own and had in mind what I wanted which was an F150 that could get me and my horse out on the trails this summer. I was still hesitant to go to the dealership by myself but Terry Smith was very kind and helpful! He helped me figure out the exact truck I needed without upselling me on things I didn't need. He spent plenty of time answering all my questions. I did end up buying a truck that day because they had one there that was exactly what I wanted and at just the right price.
