Pleasantly surprised. I just moved to Albuquerque. I had my car shipped to the state and it was damaged in transit. I took it to bmw to see about getting my car fixed. I have typically used certified bmw independent mechanics due to overcharging and unnecessary work. We have been looking for a newer vehicle for the wife but didn't want to go for the new fresh vehicles because of our budget. I try to be forgiving of car dealers but..... I went in to test drive a diesel 3 series that they had 2 of on their website. After looking for it outside I went in to find a sales associate. There was no one to great me. There was only one sales associate that avoided me wandering all over the shop. The Manager was locked away in his glass cage and pretended I wasnt there. The showroom floor was a wreck, They obviously thought I wasnt worthy of a BMW. I cant wait for BMW to give a competeing franchise to NM or to strip Sandia of theirs! read more

Apparently, I do not have the "in the market for a BMW" look. Had to find a salesman, who proceeded to talk me down from a new 335 convertible to a used 335 convertible to a "So, we have this great 2005 convertible in the back" I realized I did not want to deal with these guys on a frequent basis for my included maintenance, and warranty work, if necessary. Went in to look at a BMW and was approached by a salesman named Kurt Johnson. He was nice at first - took a test drive - but when I said I was just looking and getting ideas he became another person and got very high pressure. The old so how much can you afford per month and all sorts of games and tactics. I thought I was at a used car dealer on Lomas. I managed to escape him - but then he started calling and emailing me. I had to email a higher manager to get him to stop the hungry harassment. Then he stopped. Bottom line is that it was not a good experience and I do not feel comfortable going back here. I expected far better treatment from a higher end type of dealer. Avoid this place !!! read more

One of my favorite dealership experiences. My salesperson, Tony, was persistent and did his best to get me to buy one of their vehicles. I finally found a pretty nice preowned X3 in very good condition, and got them to give me a great price, an above average appraisal on my trade-in and a decent interest rate, all for a fair monthly payment. The only problem is that I did some research online and grew worried about the cost to maintain a BMW once the warranties have expired, which are some of the most expensive. Having owned a SAAB out of warranty, I didn't want to go through that kind of financial headache again. Great cars when healthy, though. read more

I recently got a BMW S1000RR from Scandia! Brett Sawyer was the sales person and I couldn't be happier with the way he handled the communication and the overall transaction: He gave me all the info that I needed to feel safe and book the motorcycle online, provided the option of shipping the bike to me (since I live in Southern California) and also the option of picking me up from the airport. The transaction went smooth without any hidden fees or other charges and I had an epic 2 day road-trip through some of the most beautiful canyons! On top of that Brett shipped back to me for free an extra back protector that I had (and couldn't carry with me on my trip). I purchased an M-5 a few weeks ago. Worked with Roxy on the sales side and Tatyana on the delivery side. Both are extremely helpful. I left the dealership confident I knew it all. However, I mixed up some of the settings due to needing two garage door openers. Tatyana came out to my office and fixed the problem. Shortly thereafter I mixed up the app and deleted all of the settings on the car. Tatyana came out to the office again and fixed the problems. She is very knowledgeable, professional and patient. My husband and I each own BMW's. My husband trades his car in about every two years, I don't because I just drive in town and have very low milage. We buy the extended warranty on mine every year however. I went in the dealership with a problem . The first day they checked air iy tires and said everything was fine. The next day I got another prompt from my car saying time check the tire pressure. I ended up at Firestone because it was after 6:00 pm and I was worried. The next day my husband scheduled a appointment at 1:30 at BMW. I showed up an hour early in hopes of getting in sooner because I had to be into work at 3:00. They check the tire pressure and returned it where I had parked, the car was left running with keys in car for twenty minutes. When I brought this up to the girl in front she said I could turn it off and take the keys if it bothered me. I thought, this is very bad. Then she walks over to this young guy sitting at his desks and talks to him first a minute. He walks over, offers to check my tires. Returns five minutes later and says how much he knows everything BMW and there is nothing wring with my car. Said he suggests if it bothers me so much I should look into getting special air put into my tires. He called it something, I do not know cars and terms but, I knew he did not do anything and just wanted me to leave. I told him I didn't believe he did anything and I would be back on Monday with the same problem. On Sunday the same prompt was up again. This time it said one of my tires pressure was at 4.6. Considering all the other tires were reading 31.5 this was cause for concern. The next morning I called and after my second try , after waiting on hold for fifteen minutes someone answered. I told the person everythingand scheduled a appointment for Tuesday. I got into my care and the prompt now said that same tire was new 0.00. I was freaking out but was already late for work.at 5:00 when I was off work I took car to Firestone. The guy who looked at it, said it was totally flat and because the air went below 25 , it now had to be replaced. I am buying new tires and having the work done at 7:00 before I go to work. And as soon as iam able, I am trading this BMW for anything not BMW! I am also suggesting strongly to my husband that when he trades his in to a lexis or Cadillac. This deal ship is way below what is expected! They used to be good and care about there customers but, they don't now. I will not be back to them for even a oil change. This should not have happened to me. I chose BMW because I thought I would be taken care of when anything car related happened. I was very wrong. Shame on them for treating a good customer bad! Good luck if you decide to move forward with bmw because this is what you will get from them. They want you to buy a new car, not keep your current car running good. read more

Be warned, this dealer will attempt to scam you out of thousands. I called about purchasing a new motorcycle from them offering my current bike as trade (also a BMW). The offer on my trade was well below its value, keep in mind I'm talking trade in value not retail and the price that they would demand for it. The salesman I spoke to was polite initially until I asked him why they wouldn't offer me what it was worth as a trade and then he told me of another customer that they had scammed on a similar trade and that if I wanted more for it that I should go to another dealer because they wouldn't pay cycle trader prices, I then told him that my price was blue book trade in value he lost his attitude and said he'd talk to the sales manager and call me back, as you can probably expect that hasn't happened and likely won't, they'll just wait for some poor sucker to scam instead. Highly recommend that you don't be that sucker, know the value of your vehicle and don't be blinded by something new. As this and the Santa Fe branch are the only dealers in New Mexico and owned by the same group look out of state for a dealer that will treat customers with respect and are willing to deal fairly. read more

While on my trip back to Oakland California from Chicago, My M3 threw a tire puncture/low pressure light on me so I immediately pulled over. Checked pressure and everything seemed ok. I decided to call the nearest BMW to get it checked out and I was in the town of Albuquerque New Mexico. I pulled up and Jerry and the blonde lady (sorry I forgot your name!) were a great help and had my tires checked and told me it was all good and reset the light. Needless to say, I'm back home and made it home safely. GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT PEOPLE. If I lived in Albuquerque, I'd be coming back here for service. read more

First off, the first diagnosis that I received was for $8k for my transmission, it ended up being a $12 seal that they just didn't want to replace. They would much rather tell you the entire transmission needs to be replaced. Secondly I called to schedule an appt. in service and they asked me if I had had any concerns so I brought up that first point, having done so, pissed off the operator and they hung up on me.
