I was not sick and that is what matters. if it's to criticize the details of some food, let's criticize all fast food and not just this one. We have to be impartial, we're not in our house. Cashier was nice and friendly. Older chefs are extremely rude. We bought two meals with extra meat. Asked for a cup rather than using multiple ramekins, the cashier was more than willing. The Hispanic chef had a problem with it, grabbed 1 mini ramekin and said "there". I figured he didn't want to use the foam cup. So I got 2 more little ramikens and he looked outraged, and said I already have 1. The Japanese chef started yelling out $1 dollar for each oz of sauce. So I told my friend to give the cashier $4 for the 4 mini ramikens of sauce. My friend also asks for sauce for her meal and the chefs just starts shaking his head. My go-to spot for a quick lunch in Cerritos Mall. It is not greasy and the meat flavor is great. The rice and vegetables complements the meat and one order is very filling. Same Japanese-American style food stall but recently changed ownership and they've been opened for 1-2 weeks now. Currently they are have a grand opening special for the chicken teriyaki bowl for ~$5 which I saw comes with a generous portion of rice, chicken and steamed vegetables. Overall, the food (I personally ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl for ~$8.50) averaged out to be ok - the chicken was freshly cooked and was drowning in teriyaki sauce but the sushi tasted refrigerated and the salad didn't taste fresh. The fried dumpings weren't tasty but did taste fresh of the frying pan. Time is essence and this location definitely has no sense of urgency when trying to get customers in and out. My coworker and I ordered, paid, and waited for the cook to prepare our trays. The teriyaki chicken with steamed white rice is amazing. It's not too sweet and it doesn't have a thick glaze that some have. It has an amazing char to it that compliments all the flavors. The rice is steamed but the texture is not over cooked. I don't really understand what they are saying but that's the language barrier can't be to upset about it. read more

I objected, pointing out that the other items reflected the correct price and that with tax that was still more than the correct price. He said "tax". I asked to speak to a manager... no one came. I tried calling the phone number they have listed, I got a FAX tone.
