Ordered some salads, a sandwich and soups to go for my family, to total about $40. I ordered two full size turkey feta salads and was very disappointed. There was no feta, two pieces of turkey and nothing else. It was so small and definitely not worth $9.50 or even close to that. I've ordered this salad a million times at Dana Park and have always had a lot of toppings but these salads were small and bare. The bread on the sandwich also is very hard. Disappointed in this location and now will have to find something else to eat after our "side" I was very satisfied that my concerns were immediately addressed by management. This place is hit or miss. My friend kept mentioning how she liked their pizza so my husband and I finally decided to try them out a couple months ago. My husband had the mozzarella fontana and basil pizza. I had the chicken pesto pizza and mac n cheese for my toddler. We also ordered the turkey feta salad (sub turkey for chicken). All was pretty good. So a couple weeks ago we ordered the same things except grilled cheese sandwich instead of mac n cheese. The grilled cheese wasn't that good. My husband's pizza was ok. The chicken pesto pizza was eh. I was turned off when I bit into a tomato that tasted really bad. I don't know if it was old? I decided to just pick off the tomatoes. The turkey feta salad was not so good this time. The avocado pieces had several brown spots. They didn't sub with chicken. I really shouldn't have but I continued to eat the pizza and salad and work around this stuff. I ended up having stomach issues for about a day- definitely don't want to risk this again so we won't be back. read more

Yay! They have opened, and they are close to my work. I had an arugula salad with chicken, and it was excellent. They had a nice patio to sit on that was less noisy than inside. Good customer service. I was not feeling well that day, and the staff was nice to me. I was getting a migraine and probably looked like I was going to die. I look forward to coming back. A gift card = cheap lunch date. The best I can say is 'meh'. I thought maybe because we got a gluten free pizza crust, but my daughter said nope hers tasted like a frozen pizza, too. My salad was a 3 1/2 star. Not amazing but fresh & more than just a an iceberg salad out of the bag. I offered to give my other gift card to my 21 year old daughter so her & a friend could use it and she passed. So, will we go back & use this card? Not sure... would I gift this card... no way. Went with the wife and infant son. Pizzas were good didn't take too long. I could see getting a table being a problem in busier times. We also split the rigatoni and my wife didn't care for the sauce. She did however love the bread that came with the pasta. Docked one star because the men's room doesn't have a changing table. I recently (1 hour ago) took an order to go. Cesar salad being one of our dishes. To my surprise upon opening said salad and mixing the dressing threw I noticed something out of place. There was a large dead fly. Extremely disgusting and inexcusable. I will never return to the Gilbert rd location. Precautions should be taken to prevent such disgusting incidents from happening. I thought the pizzas were delicious. We had a ceasar salad and the pasta and meatballs. The pizzas we chose were thin crust and a bit on the saltier side but fresh ingredients. We ordered the sausage and onion one and the meats one. The pasta and meatballs I could do without. The pasta feels too generic for me. I wished they used actual spaghetti or linguine of fettuccine. The sauce wasn't anything that blew me out of the water but I appreciated that there was plenty of sauce and not dried onto the pasta. The ceasar salad was good when mixed But had very little dressing on it. Easy fix. It is like the pei wei style where we don't have servers. read more

Pretty disappointed with the costumer service here. I walked in to grab a to-go order at around 6:10. When I went to the register I asked if this is where you grab to-go orders. One of the female workers with short brown hair gave us the biggest attitude and said no while just staring at us with no information. She then turned to a coworker and proceeded to tell her to "deal with us". Just upsetting that I am a customer paying for food and within only being there for less than five minutes I was treated so poorly. read more

Last night, my family and I went to sauce for the first time. We are in Italian family, so we're pretty particular on the Italian food that we eat. We came around a popular dinner time, 6 PM, and it was decently busy. You order your food at the register, which in my opinion, was trendy and cool. The workers are welcomed us with a smile and were all upbeat, happy people. When asking questions about the menu, they were more than happy to help. The weather was nice out so we sat on the well-decorated patio. Our food came out relatively quick and looked delicious. The pizza took a couple of minutes longer than the pasta, but our cashier had warned us of that before-hand. I got the popular mac & cheese and follow the recommendation of adding sausage to it. My parents split the mozzarella fontina pizza on the hand stretch crust. We later put in an order of a pizza cookie with vanilla ice cream. All of the food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming here again. read more

I am an avid Sauce "go-er" I'm obsessed with any kind of salad on a pizza, yes, this may sound weird, but when I eat pizza I feel less guilty with a salad. SAUCE puts the salad right on top! Anyway you want to make it, there are options! I've been hitting Sauce through out the valley for 6+ yrs! I usually get the salad on the pizza combo with gluten free crust(because it's the best-the regular crust can come out a little to thin/airy sometimes). ANYHOW, I've been taking new friends here and there, trying new things. I would definitely not recommend the bruschetta. It might be my preference for sure. They put it on a thick slice of garlic bread. I know it's a quick bite, but just go for the pizza. I love Sauce. This location is nice- not as busy as most when I have been there. The patio is huge! I have not been to this restaurant since high school graduation. Back when another company owned them. I found a gift card for Sauce in an old cabinet drawer. Went in and had issues with the card but online it showed a balance. The cashier and the manager were kind enough to comp the meal for my girlfriend and I. We had two salads and split a spicy chicken sausage pasta. Which the pasta was more than enough to fill us up! Loved the food and service. We will definitely be coming back to this location more frequently. read more

This place is consistent in their quality and awesome customer service. I come here fairly often for lunch before work, and enjoy both their pizza and pasta. Being from NM, I also appreciate that they have Hatch green chile you can add on your pizza. This is not my favorite pizza spot, but if you're vegan, you can make it work. You stand in line and give your order before sitting down. I ordered the rosmary potato pizza veganized. It was basically bread with a couple potato chips arranged in a pattern. Not a great option for vegans but if you're there for a family gathering like I was, you can make it work. There were also other pizzas, you can make most of them vegan by just asking for no cheese and the pizza crust I got was vegan. They were very nice about accommodating and helping me figure out what dairy and egg free. Great service and nice staff, just not a lot of great plant based options from what I saw. read more

Absolutely miserable. I repeat. Ab so lute lee miserable. Dozens of orders sitting on the out tray and dozens of patrons staring at the kitchen with no food. Like all restaurants the food is marked up with an "experience" surcharge and the experience is awful. Not sure why. Computer is broken. Ticket machine is down. Words words words. I am never tired to go to Sauce or to order from them. I've had pizza delivered to me at least once a week and I am never disappointed. My next place to check out is Pizza Bianco in Phoenix, but for now I'll stick with Sauce since I love their spicy chicken sausage pizza, and I like the fact that you can build your own pizza. Meh. Wanted this to be good. Ordered three pizzas. Ideas were good but execution wasn't. All three had burned crusts. Not just a little in the bottom. Each was half black and charred around half the pie. And they aren't properly kneeding the dough. All three had large bubbles around the edges. One covered almost an entire piece. We stopped in before a movie. My husband ordered the mozzarella, fontina & Basil pizza. The crust is very thin in crispy, which I prefer but many don't. If you're s thick crust person, this is probably not the place for you. I had the turkey feta salad and green tea. The salad was HEAVEN! Absolutely delicious. I couldn't finish it and since salads don't save, I literally mourned not being able to finish the salad. It was a very sad moment. Needless to say, the salad was a decent size. Just checked out sauce for the first time. Love this place. They have an Italian chop salad that is perfect. It's savory, a little sweet, and a little spicy. It hits all of the right textures too. I tried the pizza too. Pepperoni and mushroom. It was awesome. Pro tip, if you ask for hand stretched dough, it will come to you a little thicker. Otherwise, it is scooper thin. Dessert was nice too. So so sad. Quality has gone down since they started expanding. When I first started eating at Sauce, it was great food. The last two times I've gone in, the roasted veggie salad was pretty much raw. They used to cook and toss the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower for the salad. Service last time took forever to get pizza. Seemed more concerned about getting to go orders out the door. I've been going to Sauce at the Happy Valley location for years and it was my first time going to this specific location in ChandlerC but this is no doubt still a favorite! I highly recommend their macaroni and cheese -- it is delicious and probably the best macaroni & cheese I've ever had (Sorry Kraft!)! I've also enjoyed their beet & arugula salad... it has goat cheese and it's super tasty. Even if you don't like beets, they'll put some on the side and the salad is still worth it. The service and food was great up to a point. I had a personal pizza with chicken sausage and my wife ordered the lasagna bowl. The flavors and service were fantastic. But halfway through my wife's was on your bowl she noticed a long black hair in her food. At that point we got up and left didn't mention anything didn't want to ruin anybody else's night but it definitely did put a heavy negativity on the establishment in our eyes.
