    Kielbasa, Blueberry pancakes, Cornbread

Just a solid breakfast spot. There are a LOT of specials on the board. I opted for the corned beef hash with over medium eggs and homefries. The hash is more larger pieces of corned beef and the potatoes bigger squares, no issues there I just like a crust on them a bit. They have a ton of bread options, I mean a TON. I got rye (standard) but my friend got cornbread and it was "the best cornbread and you don't even need butter). The pancakes are huge and filled with fruit/chocolate chips/whatever you order them with. Sizeable portions. I will say with so many options if you aren't a go to savory or sweet person it could be challenging to order. Savory's nails Breakfast 101 - always refilling coffee, always checking back in, quick check and cash out. Just what you want when you're at a diner. I'd go back anytime I'm in the Southtowns!

The "Biggy" with 2 HUGE Banana Nut Pancakes, Shredded Hash Browns, 2 Eggs, Bacon, & a biscuit. Sooo good & very filling!

Located in Hamburg this diner style setting offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. We typically go for breakfast but they have good lunch and dinner options that are reasonable in price and you can take to go. This spot is so good that it always includes regular customers and waitresses that have been around for awhile. This creates a family friendly style atmosphere. The food is always high quality with creative and interesting specials playing in the season. I for one always go for the Savory scramble which is eggs, herbs, cream cheese, tomatoes, spinach, sprinkled with cheddarjack cheese. All toast is homemade which can't be beat. They also offer coffee, cappuccinos and lattes. Next time you're in Hamburg be sure to try.

The Scarlet Vetter says.....I decided to stop for breakfast on a Friday when I had an hour to kill in Hamburg, New York. Being alone, and because it was very busy, I decided not to take up a table and opted to sit at the bar. The spot I sat at was dirty, as it had just been vacated. It did take about 5 minutes for a server to acknowledge me, but when she did, she came right over and offered me coffee and a menu and quickly cleaned the area. Not the best cleaning job however, as bits of food were left in front of me, but she was very nice. The server came back very quickly, but I was not ready. Then it seemed like it took a long time for her to return, even though my menu was down. Again though, very friendly and I must say the place was very, very busy with people standing, waiting for tables. I ordered the Farmer's Daughter Omlette (to be made with egg whites instead of whole eggs) and a side of rye toast. I was offered hash browns, home fries or fruit and opted for the fruit. The Farmer's Daughter Omlette is made with fresh broccoli, zucchini, tomatoes, spinach, onions, peppers and creamy goat cheese. I also ordered a side of smoked Kielbasa. I asked for the tomatoes to be held on the Omlette as I hate off season tomatoes. While I waited, I finished my coffee. It took a long time to get someone's attention to ask for a refill. I was told that refills are not free but I was not sure if she was kidding or not as it was said with a smile. So I asked for a cappuccino instead, which she quickly made, and it was delicious! When my Omlette arrived it did not come with the side of smoked Kielbasa I had ordered. The server said she would quickly remedy that. The Omlette was stuffed full of perfectly cooked vegetables and the goat cheese was delicious and warm and melty. The Omlette did come without tomatoes! The smoked Kielbasa arrived it was also very good. The server then offered a coffee refill to the person next to me at the counter without talking about having to charge for it, so I guessED the comment about charging for refills was really a joke and to be sure I asked my server and she said of course refills are free! Joke was on me! I would recommend this place for sure. It is comfortable and very quaint. The table behind me ordered some sort of specialty stuffed French Toast, which they raved about. The menu selections looked really great. I just think the fact that it was MAD busy, was a challenge for the servers and I have to cut the place a break for that, as it was beyond their control as they looked properly and well staffed. I would give them 3.5 stars if I could but I am stuck with 3.

VERY solid breakfast spot. Shockingly packed during a weekday snowstorm. Kind waitstaff. And it won't empty your wallet.

We hit this place at just the right time. We were traveling back from Niagara Falls on a Sunday morning. Dining room was busy but one open table in the corner just for us! We were quickly greeted and given menus. The board had so many special items, it was a little hard to decipher, but we all made our choices. The food was delicious! I got the fruit explosion waffle, with a side on bacon. Hubby got an egg combo meal. Kiddo also got a waffle. Service was super friendly and kind. We will stop again if we travel that way!

Wow. A lot of food for your money. Home made receipts from grandma! Nice little find for breakfast. You can truly split these meals between two. Thanks for great service!

We went to the Mansard Inn for Easter Brunch. We had been there years ago for dinner and thought it…read morewas decent, and we had heard it had been refurbished since then. Unfortunately, that really wasn't our experience. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The entire place felt tired and dirty. The carpets looked heavily worn and stained, the booths had food stuck in the crevices, and overall it just didn't feel clean or well maintained. The dishes and drinkware didn't help. The coffee mugs, which were once white, were badly stained and dingy looking. My mother actually rubbed something off hers, and the waitress explained that it "wasn't dirty, just stained." Not exactly the best first impression, especially at $55 per person for brunch. We ordered mimosas after that, hoping things would improve, but even the champagne glasses looked questionable and were filled to noticeably different levels. Then the food arrived, and unfortunately it only got worse. Everything was served "family style," but there was no menu or explanation of what was coming. The meal felt random and poorly executed. Some highlights included: * A single store-bought pastry cut into pieces * Mac and cheese that tasted like boxed Velveeta * Deep-fried breakfast sausages * Ham that resembled warmed-up lunch meat * Three shrimp total for two people * A bowl of stew meat that felt completely out of place * An Eggs Benedict attempt that simply didn't work To make matters worse, some of the silverware and plates appeared dirty as well. By the end, we honestly couldn't wait to leave. The automatic $20 holiday service charge on top of the already expensive brunch really sealed the experience for us. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had in quite a while.

Overpriced, Unsanitary, and Unprofessional - A $500 Disaster…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but our recent experience was truly appalling. We visited with a party of 11, including my 88-year-old grandfather. Despite the high price point--our bill was nearly $500--the standards of service and cleanliness were non-existent. The Issues: Accessibility & Cleanliness: There were zero handicap parking spots available. Inside, the restaurant was filthy; there was old food and trash under our booth, and the bathroom was in a state of neglect with toilet paper left on dirty surfaces rather than the holder. The Environment: We were greeted by stained, soiled paper menus and a swarm of fruit flies that stayed with us throughout the entire meal. Poor Service: We waited 50 minutes for basic dinner salads. My grandfather's coffee took 45 minutes to arrive. The waitress appeared visibly annoyed that she had to walk around our booth to serve us. Cheap Substitutes: For the price of a strip steak, you expect quality. Instead, we were served Aldi-brand steak sauce. When I asked for A1, I was handed a filthy, food-smeared bottle that was nearly empty. The "Refill" Incident: Our initial drinks were served half-empty. When we asked for refills, the waitress told us to finish our current glasses because they weren't free and she "didn't want to charge us." In the end, we were charged for them anyway. Overpriced Food: The French Onion soup is served in tiny metal bowls, not crocks. To top it off, we paid $22 for two "slices" of cheesecake to go--one of which was a literal sliver of cake. While the food itself was decent, no meal is worth this level of disrespect and lack of hygiene. I will never recommend this establishment.
