The service was amazing my server was friendly and knowledgeable with drink options and appetizers. The view from the table was over looking the water at the seaport The appetizers variety was a good selection, I wish they had a charcuterie board, the drinks were delicious we had the expresso martini flight a delicious lemon drop and 3 Mango drinks off the menu. THE Crab corn chowder was yummy and had big chunks of crab . The mussels were full of flavor and big and juicy. The oysters were salty and shocked to perfection the Thai meatballs, had an amazing sauce creamy and slightly spicy. I would have liked a little more spice lobster and scalloped pot stickers great. The calamari yummy

Tl/dr: not bad but nothing super special. Loved: - The chic interior and upscale vibe. - The attentive service (esp w respect to allergies). - What I'm sure is a beautiful view of the water from our table when the sun doesn't set at 5p. But the food is just ok. The 3 of us ordered 2 pastas (one entree size, one app size), and 4 or 5 apps and nothing was impressive. The pappardelle w bolognese was the highlight for me. The lemon ricotta ravioli was borderline cold by the time I cut into it which was really odd. The mozzarella was forgettable, but the pork belly was solid. The scallops that were on special were the itty bitty kind and just ok - mostly overwhelmed by whatever breading they were covered in. The best part was probably the deserts - I had the creamy Nutella something or other - and was really upset when I got to the airport in the morning and realized I left it in the hotel fridge /sad face. Crème brûlée was on point. If nothing else, their pastry chef is 100 on the land/sea/sky.

SAVR has a beautiful outdoor patio for the summertime, and karol provided great service. i tried their island affair cocktail, and we started with a half dozen oysters to see how they were, they were from dodge cove in maine and were absolutely delicious. we would have ordered a whole dozen to start if we knew they would be so delicious! i wanted to order the sea bass but was informed it is farm-raised, so i tried their filet mignon, medium rare, with broccolini and mushrooms. the filet tasted amazing, but it was cooked closer to medium which was not my preference. the mushrooms and broccolini were decent. my date ordered the chicken, which was my second choice. it was very good. dodge cove oysters 10/10 broccolini 8/10 mushrooms 7.8/10 filet mignon 7.6/10 chicken 8.4/10 island affair 9/10 prisoner 10/10 overall, a beautiful restaurant overlooking the pier with tasty food and a great experience. definitely one of the better options in the seaport. ambiance: 4.8/5 food: 4.3/5 drinks: 4.5/5 service: 4.5/5 savr: 4.6/5

I'm surprisingly delighted with this restaurant from a flavor and value standpoint. I was just looking for a solid warm early lunch on a cold day in the seaport, but was really pleased to find this exceeded my expectations. The interior is very comfortable, the wait staff very attentive, and I didn't want to vomit over Boston prices. Their pasta was even pretty good and that's hard for me to say about a place not in the North End. Definitely recommend!

During my visit to Boston, my best friend and I dined at this restaurant on two separate occasions. The food was outstanding. We basically recreated our first-night dinner to celebrate my birthday on her last night in town. The cod was delicious and perfectly cooked, but our favorite dish was the lobster dumpling, which was generously filled with lobster and accompanied by what I assume is a lobster bisque sauce. On our first night, we enjoyed cod, lobster, dumplings, and oysters, paired with some wine. I savored the oysters on my own, and they were absolutely divine. On our last night, she ordered the cod, while I opted for the lobster spaghetti. We shared an order of the lobster dumplings and both nights indulged in the Nutella cheesecake. Now that I'm back home, I find myself wishing I could have that exact meal again.

I came here for a weeknight dinner with a group of 7 and was able to get a table without a reservation around 6pm even though the restaurant was busy. Our server was really nice, and the food and ambiance were great.

The food was amazing! I started with the cheese dip -- perfectly cheesy and rich. Honestly, I was too shy to ask for more bread! The lobster ravioli was another hit -- tender, perfectly seasoned (truly by the gods), and a generous portion. We tried the martini flight along with a few other drinks, and here I am two months later still thinking about that martini. The service was okay -- polite, but not especially attentive. I actually saw the manager more often, and he was great -- super friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was lovely, especially sitting outside. Overall, I'd absolutely come back for the food and drinks alone in the summer of course! I did feel a little under dressed - I had jeans on everyone was business casual

Very good bread and dip

Walking in the door we were in a good mood ready to try Savr and was not feeling comfortable with how they directed us to the bar and at least they allowed us to take a look upstairs which resulted in a better experience with a different host. All worked out and we recommend the halibut special cooked perfectly and the server was very good.

4.5 stars SAVR's location within The St. Regis Residences at the edge of the Seaport waterfront hinted at the level of class the restaurant would possess. However, I was still impressed upon my arrival. The place's corner location in the building allowed it to have a lovely wrap-around balcony, but even if you were dining indoors as we did, you still had amazing views of the water from their floor-to-ceiling windows. The decor was stunning and offered upscale steakhouse vibes. The crowd was similarly flashy, attractive, and dressed to the nines. Overall, it really just felt like we were at some hotspot on the Mediterranean or somewhere glamourous like South Beach. The bar was right next to the host stand, so we instantly were greeted by the buzzing crowd. We saw that there were tables just beyond the bar and looking out into the marina, as well as another upstairs dining area. We were lucky to be quickly taken to a nice table just on the edge of the deck and were greeted by our server, Jessica P., who was upbeat and pleasant throughout the entire experience. We decided to start with a beverage, and I was proud of myself for recognizing a good chunk of the wine brands on the list, many of which had been favorites in the past. In particular, I asked if I could sample the 2023 Honig Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley and the 2023 King Estate Pinot Gris from the Willamette Valley, both of which I had adored on other occasions. After trying a few sips of each, I settled on the Pinot Gris, which I found to be the more complex of the two. It offered low acidity, a slight sweetness, and notes of ripe pear, peach, and white flowers. I also had a taste of the Whiskey Priest Old Fashioned, which was one of the best old fashioneds I had ever had. It was composed of Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey, Demerara syrup, and Angostura bitters, and it happened to be very balanced and not too sweet. It was sheer perfection! We were enjoying our drinks when the one strange part of the experience occurred. A food runner came by with a large cutting board of bread and butter. However, there were only three slices of bread available, one for each of us. It was a ridiculously small presentation of carbs for the size of the platter. Also, the second we finished the bread, the same man came over and took away our small plates, not even checking if we wanted any additional slices. That whole scene was annoying enough, but then we noticed another table of three nearby that received two rounds of bread - one with six slices and one with five slices. Plus, there was another table of two that received four pieces to share. It was a minor hiccup during an otherwise great meal, but it was still irritating. Regardless, the bread that we did try was soft, fluffy, and very good. There was also a side cup of an oil dip that had chunks of green olives in it and that was interesting. Thankfully, we did not need to wait too long before our entrees appeared. I had ordered the Bay of Fundy Salmon, which was served over a corn purée, baby vegetables, and an heirloom tomato salad. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. However, the vegetables (carrots, peas, zucchini, and squash), while fresh, were a bit too crispy and could have been cooked longer. I would have loved more corn puree as well. The other two diners in my group had great feedback on their 16-ounce, slow-roasted prime ribs. The portions were generous ones, but we still found room for dessert. The most original treat on the list, the Orange Cream Pie, called out to us immediately, and Jessica P. noted that it was her favorite dessert on the menu. She did not steer us wrong, because it was unreal! The slice had a thick, graham-pecan crust, which was then layered with the ideal amount of orange cream filling, and then topped with a whipped Chantilly cream. There was also a orange crème anglaise on the plate that made each forkful even more decadent. From the stunning views to the diverse menu, SAVR provided a well-rounded and delightful experience that I would certainly recommend.

Came here with my girlfriends for dinner. Being that the restaurant is at seaport it is pretty pricey. The service was good and the restaurant was nice and clean. The food was just okay. We never say no to free bread but it was quite possible the worse bread i have ever had. The server asked if we wanted to avoid anything so i said cilantro so they removed the cilantro from the pork belly appetizer. The problem was both pastas had cilantro in it which is odd because usually pastas dont have cilantro. The pork belly and mushrooms were good. We were disappointed in the pastas. We order one with lobster and it was just lobster bits. For that price they should have bigger pieces. Overall we had a great time.

I love nothing better than sitting at the bar with a glass of champagne and the crabmeat cocktail (pro tip, skip the mustard and cocktail sauce and get the lemon aioli usually served with the calamari). I just took my mom today and couldn't have had a better experience. She's an espresso martini fan so I wanted her to try the espresso martini flight. We got the crabmeat cocktail (with lemon aioli) of course, and then double-downed with the crab ravioli. I love how you can order the pasta in appetizer or entree size! Crab ravioli was tender, bursting with crab, in the most delicious light cream chive sauce with rock shrimp. Caesar salad is solid. If you're a mushroom fan, get a side of the wild mushrooms, phenomenally seasoned. We were originally seated at a smaller table for two, our food order was large enough that a very kind manager moved us to a larger booth. The espresso martini flight was delightful for my mom. I enjoyed a restorative glass of Domaine Carneros sparking wine. Oh, and the warm crusty bread with herb olive oil is delicious. Finally, our server, Carol T was a joy, so helpful (we were wavering between mussels and ravioli and Carol's description of the ravioli had us salivating!). We'd also mentioned we were planning to share food and the salad was thoughtfully split into two. Excellent location with ocean view, top service, would recommend for date night, lunch with friends, bring your in-laws to impress them.

Is there a dress code?

Not rely, based upon our experience, jeans a t-shirt seem exceptable. But it is a nicer restaurant, so, a poli and khakis would be the minimum.

Their menu online looked great and we were able to walk in with no reservations early on a Friday night, although they were starting to fill up more as we left. The crab cake was delish & my baby devoured most of it. The salmon salad was tasty but the salmon itself was very salty, salt was literally all I could taste. The lettuce was very crisp and fresh and everything else was good so I didn't feel the need to complain also with the consideration that the chef intended to make the salmon salty to pair with the rest of the dish. The vibe was nice, a bit elevated. My server Michael was great! I would definitely order the crab cake again and try many other items on the menu that all looked superb. Thanks Moxies!

That's when we put the voucher to use as the Capiz is in the lobby of the hotel. We went for an early dinner. Walking into the restaurant, no one was there to greet us and there was no host stand. Finally, a server (who also turned out to be our server) told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time. There were too many French fries, making the plate a bit messy. In a pinch, Capiz did fit the bill as we didn't feel like going far for a meal that day.
