Let me begin by pointing out that this is a sushi restaurant and not Chinese as listed ... and it went downhill from there. The fish was mediocre at best and the service was cheerless ... as if we were in the way instead of being their reason to exist. I am and was baffled by this ... the level of poor service and the low quality of the food. Overall it's good. I was going to give it four stars but the fortune cookies we were given were old, rancid, stale idk. They smelled so bad I had to call them and let them know to throw them away. This place is legit!! Im so obsessed. Weve eaten in house once and ordered to go twice and have never been disappointed with anything. The rolls are bomb af and theyve got the best teriyaki beef ive ever had. Prices are reasonable which is super appealing to my broke ass. This place changed owners beginning withe new year. I can't say it was for the better either. There's no more panko in the spicy tuna. The speed of service is terrible. The new sushi chef has no idea what goes in what, and seems he can't read because they waitress was having to read everything that should go in every roll he made. Witch obviously made ordering, getting refills, etc, take FOREVER. It litterally took over 30 minutes to make 3 rolls for me, and 2 rolls for the table in front of us. Sad to say but the new owners really killed this place, and I won't be returning. This really USED TO BE a great place. Now it's mediocre =( read more

Best sushi Ive had since moving to the desert, Ive tried a few other places like, Joes sushi, sams sushi and this one is still my fave. Its run by very few people so the wait time can be a little slow especially when they get busy but for me its worth it :) moonlight roll is a must! read more

Outstanding sushi! Don't let the simplicity of the decor fool you. The chef takes pride in the presentation of the rolls and the portions are large when ordering sashimi. Rainforest special roll melts in your mouth. We take all of our friends and family here. If they are busy there is a wait time...it is small and they only had one server for dinner rush. I ordered DoorDash from Sawa Sushi and the food arrived hot and in great shape. Had the Udon noodle soup with shrimp. Came with 5-6 butterflied large shrimp and a very tasty broth. We also had the aged tofu and chicken Katsu. I love to cook and am a bit picky with restaurants in general, this one nailed it! Katsu was crispy and tasty and the Tofu had a light crisp crusty with a soft center. Will definitely order from Sawa again... read more

This is probably the absolute WORST sushi restaurant I have been too. When we first walked in we were very excited we greeted the people very friendly but they gave us a look and kept on. that did not bother us , but then the lady to serve did not come to table for a moment and when she did there was no kindness to her. there was no music playing in the background and no other people , we did not like the vibe so we decided to leave. We tell the people that we are going to leave and we proceed to leave. As we are about to reverse our car the lady serving us had came to our car door and asked us if what they did made us leave or if it was anything they did after we kindly said no she started to give us attitude and yell at us for leaving. The Sawa roll was great! The New Zealand muscles were runny and did not tasye fresh (one was too chewy and I spit it out). The taco salad was okay....one piece of octopus was not firm (too soft and chewy). Stopped here while on vacation because the reviews were good. The food was excellent. The service, not so much. We had a selection of nigiri: unagi great, but Saba not as fresh as it could be. Had some of the special rolls, one of which came with stuff we didn't want or ask for (hot sauce) and it hadn't been on the description so we sent it back. This annoyed the waitress. But our being there seemed to annoy her, as did the only other table occupied. It was all she could do to hide in the back and then shuffle to the tables when she had to bring out something. So tip, 10% only because the service wasn't that great but three stars because the food was excellent. read more

I've eaten here a few times and the food's pretty good, but very inconsistent. I always order the Sawa Roll (baked scallops on top) but raw,sashimi style, not baked. Last time I went they said they couldn't do it. I tried to explain, just make the roll, and simply don't put it in the oven, but for some reason, they were incapable this time of not sticking it in the toaster. We ordered the Shitake Hungry (mushrooms stuffed with spicy tuna and deep fried) and they were filled with sour cream instead, no tuna at all on the plate. Basically, order at your own risk, maybe you'll get someone possibly close to what you're aiming for. Menu variations are a but redundant and I prefer more variation of ingredients. read more

Loved this small empty place! They really should have more business but there on a plaza in a location you can't see when you drive by. I found this place when I had a sushi craving on Sunday and everything was closed. All of the sushi rolls I've tried here are amazing and muscles are to die for. Awesome place. This review is based solely on my very first visit to this restaurant, so I don't have much to say. The sushi was great, their pricing is fair & my family & I enjoyed ourselves. Now, their customer service needs some serious improvement. We were seated at 7:20PM & we got our food at about 8:10 (not even exaggerating) there was only one chef & one server. You can not beat their happy hour lunch menu. Choice of three rolls with soup and salad for under $15. They are not specialty rolls but still a great bargain. When I go for dinner I always order the Mexican roll and the Tokyo roll. Love them both. I have been here probably about 25 times and never had a bad experience. read more

I go to Swan sushi quite often, it's such a treat. The waitress is kind and always chats with me if it's not busy. The sushi rolls are fresh and delicious. I ask for soy paper in my rolls, not a fan of seaweed and that's never a problem. All their sushi rolls are beautiful, the California roll and Philadelphia roll are my favorite. Try it out, the prices are reasonable and the food is good. I'm local and have tried many sushi places in the area, this is my choice. Good eats! read more
