Babbling idiots. Worst experience of my furniture experience by far. Collected 2/3rd up front with 8-12 week delivery promise. They collected the rest two weeks later with absolutely no solid delivery date. The only answer, like a parakeet, was, "we call you a day before". A day before where the poor owner of the prepaid furniture may be, god knows. Multiple telephone calls to the dumbasses, they informed us yesterday about today's delivery, 3 hour window. As if they're going to build an effing bridge. Get out of furniture business. You suck at it something horrible. My enemies, I highly recommend these idiots. Go order some. read more

The products themselves are good. I like their selection. Why I no longer give them a five star is because whoever is running their customer service department gets a big fat "zero". I've even heard it personally from an employee....that their corporate headquarters in Idaho doesn't give a crap about them or their customers. Can you imagine that an employee tells me that it's no use for them to call corporate or their warehouse...that they'll be completely ignored? Someone needs to buy-out the cold-hearted owners of this company and turn it over to some good people. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Absolutely shameful. We ordered a $600 painting over a month ago, had no idea it would be sent to an Irvine warehouse a month later when we selected our address as the shipping and had no other option to select. They are gaslighting me and claiming there was an option to ship to our house for an extra fee and that I must have selected the free pickup option but at the time I checked out there was NOT an additional charge option which is why I entered my shipping address and figured like most companies they would ship to my home. We do not live close to Irvine, we have a baby and cannot even fit the painting in our car. Then I call the San Diego location they sent our painting to (after transferring from Irvine) telling them I would pay the shipping and he said he can't help me because it was an online order and that no manager could help- so now we have paid for an item and not received it and not one person there has cared about making it right & getting us our product. Absolutely horrific customer service. Our interior designer who used to refer people to them says they will never recommend this company again after this experience she's seen with us. I had her on all of my call merged on mute and she said there's no way she will ever put another customer through this. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, save yourself the headache.I guess we'll have to fight the charge at this point because we can't get our product since no one cares to call us back or help. read more

We have spent several thousand dollars furnishing our new home, with new items and also items leftover from our apartment. The quality of each item has withstood the wear and tear we (and our guests) gave it and they still hold up. I don't even bother looking at the crap they sell on Wayfair (or their affiliates), Wayfair, etc anymore and this is usually my first place to search for items. Granted the items are a little higher than what you'd find on those other sites, but the quality is MUCH higher and will last longer from our experience. At the Irvine store, we have worked with both Jane and Curtis and they are very good to work with and can help you explore their items and flush out your design ideas. I will keep coming back for more as we need to. read more

One of the sales associates (older lady) was extremely disrespectful constantly showing frustration and at one point stating how she spent over 30 minutes helping us. Even at the point of check out to put our deposit down, she kept lashing hints of frustration and irritation. Extremely unprofessional business. He was super helpful right from the start in helping my family pick furniture for our new house and coordinating the delivery through the difficulties with COVID scheduling. I just had a delivery which they transferred to the Irvine store. Due to my cultural background and sanitation, I asked that the delivery people wear booties and was assured that in the showroom. However, when the delivery came the delivery people were rude, smelly and did not have booties. When I asked them, they said they didn't have any. I called both sites to complain and spoke to two store sales managers. Both store managers are gone for the weekend. I find this unacceptable and I was so excited for the purchase. I will look to have the carpet shampooed. I'm very upset. I don't allow shoes in my house. read more

I went there for several times.... I mean about 10 times. Then I picked up stuffs that I need. Because of the demands, they are still in the ocean. Then I called Maria that we need to cancel them. She is super helpful and has no problem to own the customer issue from beginning to the end. Then we met Jane, who has good taste and experience. She put everything together and let us have plenty of time to think without harsh sales push. Not only that, I am looking for the Dinning set and also media furniture for the same set or style. I didn't see that in the store. Maria came to check and does care about what client need, she took extra step to offer calling their store designer to check if there is the same media furniture. Then the next day, as she promised, she called back and they will bring to the store to show me the media set. With Maria's excellent service and great team work that Jane and Maria provided, how can I not give a 5 stars. Thank you Maria and Jane! PS the furniture is great quality! read more

Last fall we found the perfect sectional and tables for our newly renovated family room and luckily, all were in stock and delivered barely 4 days after we placed our order. Delivery and set up was great. In early December we decided to purchase the Anselmo Recliner and Ottoman to complete the look and we love it. Beautiful and great quality. You know- as far as products go this store is top notch. Beautiful stuff. Products = 5 stars. Hence the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. My husband, son and I went to this location this morning to purchase a new king storage bed. The store was empty, with a team of sales people standing around at the back corner chatting and giving us the stink eye. We were in the store for over 20 minutes, and the entire time nobody bothered to greet us, come over and say hello, ask us what brought us in, nothing. Did I mention how empty the store was? With at least 6 sales people I could see, you'd think one could have spared 30 seconds to be bothered to say "hi." It's disappointing as I knew the exact bed I wanted to purchase, item number and all. We were so unbelievably turned off by the snooty vibe in here that we decided to take our business elsewhere, and purchased a very similar looking bed from a very sweet salesperson happy to acknowledge our presence. I'd recommend the Scandinavian team work on their manners, it could very well be costing them business. read more

Super helpful staff that are not breathing down you neck but are patient and informative when asked. Just bought a beautiful modern motorized leather recliner that is better than anything I could find at twice the price. We ordered a custom leather sectional that was going to take 10 months. It arrived 2 months early and was perfect! The delivery was excellent! My only concern is that our sales person was brand new and literally didn't know anything. They should have given her training before they put her on the floor. Luckily there was another sales person (I think Judy) who helped us pick our fabric and made the whole thing much easier. Thanks goodness for her! When spending that much money on a custom sectional you want to feel assured that everything will go smoothly. We have since been back and purchased a chair for our living room. read more

My couch was delivered and after having it for 48 hours, we discovered evidence that it had been damaged, repaired and sold as new. After sending in pictures to the warehouse manager they hemmed and hawed about how all the couches have similar defects and that's just the way they are built. Take your money elsewhere. read more

If you ever shop at Ikea, you should give Plummers a try. WAY less frustrating! I think of Plummers as a notch or two above Ikea. Most of their furniture is pretty modern with simple, clean lines. Pricing on most stuff is pretty reasonable. Not as cheap as Ikea, but better quality. I have bought two bedroom sets from Plummers. One I even hauled to my house in Arizona because we couldn't find any modern furniture in the local area out there. Service is good. They clearly work on commission, but don't hover over you too much! You can p/u or pay for local delivery. One of the bed frames had some small scratches on it. They offered to knock off a couple hundred dollars and we were able to fix it with a dark colored marker. Not a big deal. Furniture is boxed, with some assembly required. Really not a fan of the style of furniture. It is all rather small and low, made more for short people or if you have a small apartment. Prices are a bit high, the Scandinavian style reminds me too much of Ikea just at a much higher price. Ok, but just not for me or my family. read more

This place really needs more salespeople on the floor. Seriously. It took us three trips when we were finally able to corner a salesperson to help us out. And he looked like the only since the other girls just stand behind the counter and ignore people. They did kindly lend us a measuring tape one day when we forgot our though! Sad to say, we did end up buying a couch from them. I sacrificed service over my immense desire for the beautiful two-toned Cepella couch. Not something I usually do but I was in love. Our salesperson was rather bland and inexpressive. No smile, no congrats, no excitement. He was basically just our order taker and answered a few questions. It wasn't until we were at the counter placing our order and signing papers when he told us the couch would take 3-6 months. THREE TO SIX MONTHS. Crazy...it doesn't even take that long at ZGallerie. Anyway, we still went ahead with it. It's just furniture - we only come once every few years when we need something or see something we need and like. They do have great designs and some pieces are bargain-priced so maybe it is worth the sacrifice in service. read more

Plummers is soooo sexy. I love their furniture. It's a mix of modern, classic and timeless pieces. Their quality is better than other furniture stores in my opinion. We bought our bedroom furniture, dining table and living room set at another location 4 years ago and they are still good as new. Their prices are quite high compare to Ashleys and Living Spaces, but it's worth it for us. We came in looking for a dresser drawer that would match our bedroom set and we were surprise to find the same bedroom set we had from years ago. We purchased one and we were so happy. This location has great customer service. The staff who helped us was not pushy. He let us look around and was happy to help us when we were ready! read more

I had a great experience with them couple of months ago in ordering my couch. We had gone to this one and another store up in Sacramento. Both staff, particularly here, we're super friendly. They were patient with our selection process and I did not feel like they pushed us too much. They kept us appraised of even the upcoming deals and advised us to buy appropriately. I was also very happy with the delivery service, which came on time. The only thing that could be better was there communication, as I didn't hear about the delivery time until almost 6 PM the evening before. The delivery guys were very quick and professional. Also happy with the couch after more than two months! I would certainly consider them again for future furniture needs. read more
