We waited well over an hour when we asked the host really didn't give much assurance we when we'd get seated. Finally we were seated. Our waitress was super nice, she took our drink and food order and again we waited so long for our food. When some of it arrived,it wasn't warm and the food didn't arrive all together. One runner came to us with the wrong food. When our waitress came to us she very apologetic for the wait and missing food. By the time we ate, my food was cold at this point I was over it. Stopped in here after a round of golf with a a couple of friends. Easy to park. About a 20 minute wait at noon on a weekday. I love eating at their counter, there is always an empty seat,, no long wait. This place is always very busy, so you an order a Mimosa at their walk up bar, or get an Iced Latte or Cappuccino while you wait. Their coffee taste excellent, as well as their Iced Tea, the outdoor seating faces the Marina, with cool breezes to enjoy. Yet another place recommended by my cousin while I was down there. Mainly for the view of all the boats by the water. It was a total vibe, we were seated outside where we got nice photos with the boats in the back. The staff were all super nice, my friend and I got the crab benidicts and we were so impressed. The service was great here. The food was just average. I got the Lox Bagel. It came deconstructed, so it was nice to assemble it to my liking. It was good, but not spectacular. Was in town recently and looking for a good place to grab breakfast with the family the other morning. Schooners was packed at ten am when we arrived, so we got on the list and found a seat outside. There are several places to sit while waiting its obvious, this eatery is busy. We were called about half the time as told, 10 minutes not the 20 stated by the hostess when we first arrived. A total positive in my books. Once seated our server was prompt and professional, and she was spread over several tables but kept up with our table regularly. A really good cup of coffee, she made sure mine never went empty. The best Apple Juice around like fresh pressed unfiltered, seriously good - a standout. I went for the Huevos Rancheros, two eggs over medium on a crisp tortilla, over black beans with a side of hash brown. The eggs good, the ranchero was okay not great but good. The browns were also okay, needed salt and pepper. The food was okay, the coffee and apple juice really good. When ordering we asked if the item had nuts and were told by the server 'no'. My friend who is allergic started having a scratchy throat and we found nuts in the dish. Luckily she did not have much. But we had to cut our visit short for her to go get her medicine for her reaction. Obviously the server was not educated on what's in their dishes. I was driving around down here yesterday, Friday, b/c I had had an appointment at the V.A. Hospital at 8:30 AM and decided to swing by for some breakfast. At around 11:30 on Saturday morning there was a 1.5 hour wait (Google said 30 minutes, don't listen to Google). There's plenty of seating while you wait and I appreciate that they've created a shaded area for those who don't want to sit in the sun. In the morning there's a coffee bar to order from while you wait in addition to the bar, though it seemed to close around noon. My wait ended up only being one hour before being seated at an outdoor table with bench seating. I ordered the crab and avocado Benedict with a side of home fried potatoes. There was an impressive amount of crab on the Benedict and the eggs were cooked perfectly soft as requested. Unfortunately, the whole thing was just lacking flavor. Both the crab and the hollandaise needed seasoning and there was not enough avocado. The home fries benefited from a generous dusting of salt and were lacking the crisp exterior that makes for great potatoes but were a decent side. I'm being somewhat harsh on part of my review because I will not be made the fool. Today is a beautiful day. Outside dining would be a real treat. Upon checking in at the reception area, I was advised that our status would be sent to my mobile phone. We then decided that the 1st available would be fine, foregoing our 1st option of outside dining overlooking the bay. I was then advised on my telephone that we were next up. Immediately thereafter, other names were called. When I inquired as to why our name was not called, I was advised their system did not always work. "Did not always work." To me, that means it does not work. The receptionist quickly gained non-civil attitude and demeanor. We did dine inside, sitting at the counter. Now for the food. Our server, Jenae, was terrific.
