I had a very good experience recently. I was greeted by Latisha at the reception window when I walked in. I sat down and filled out all the necessary forms via a tablet. I did not wait long until the doctor, Ms. Monica, saw me. After I brought up a concern, she thoroughly explained my options and I felt very reassured. I felt very comfortable being there and I was very pleased with how clean and presentable the entire office was. They are easy to book appointments with, and each concern I have brought up has been addressed with kindness, urgency, and practicality. I went to Schweiger Dermatology *over a year ago* and at my last appointment I paid in full. I also received verbal confirmation from the from desk that I had nothing left to pay. Since then, I have received multiple letters from their office informing me that I owe somewhere between $600 - $1000 (each letter has had a different amount?). I have called the office MULTIPLE times, and have emailed 4 separate people, including attachements of my bank statements. No one at the company can give me an answer, and of all the email addresses they've given me only ONE has answered me that they would "forward the bank statements to the finance team" but when I followed up, she never responded. I also paid around $900 for a "skin tightening" filler that was never actually visible, and am now receiving letters from debt collectors for a bill that I have already paid off. Do NOT go to schweiger dermatology unless you want to get ripped off. read more

Wonderful. I booked an appointment in ZocDoc and this entire experience has exceeded all expectations. The exterior of the building is under construction but don't let that deter you! The office itself is super clean and modern. The staff is so kind and helpful. The nurse who brought me into the room was upbeat and helpful - I felt very comfortable with her. I have NO wait. Dr. P was very attentive to my ailments and clear in her explanations. She wrote me two prescriptions and set up a game plan for treatment. After picking up my prescriptions from cvs I was a little confused about why to do and I called the main office line. They said the SoHo office was closed but that they would send a note. Within 10 min Dr. P called and explained what to do and reiterated the plan. I have seldom received service like this in the medical community. I will definitely be back!! read more

Great experience and effective diagnosis. Highly recommend! I visited the place for some Boils on my skull. The doctor was able to diagnose problem very quickly and recommended anti bacterial medicines. They also have a tie up with Rx medical service which delivers to your place. Had such a wonderful experience with the Soho location. The front desk staff are so polite. They greeted me with warm smiles. The call center staff was also great. One rep was kind enough to call the soho location to push my appointment back due to the fact I was running late because of the trains. Most places would have cancelled my appointment are 15 minutes but after being 30 minutes late they still saw me. read more

Staff is super friendly. I had a growth removed in my leg and needed stitches. Was able to get in for initial appointment quickly on a Friday, scheduled the surgery for Monday morning, had a follow up scheduled for stitch removal two weeks later which I rescheduled without a problem once and then rescheduling for two days earlier last minute because I thought I might have torn them. Alexa helped me complete forms I was missing from the PCP, making me feel safe and sure that I will get everything I need for my insurance to cover my visit. Brenda was equally as patient and kind when taking my information. Dr Pustover showed the same grace through my visit. I expressed all of my medical concerns and got detailed answers and assistance with everything I needed. Most importantly - I didn't feel rushed one bit, I had ample time to voice all my questions and concerns. Great bedside manner. The doctor didn't know why I was there for 3 appts. The first time I explained it- I was there for laser for rosacea and a minor medical issue, but would like some cosmetic advice and cosmetic assessment. She said OK i could use laser for my face and so we went ahead. No discussion of options or thoughts on what could be a good fit for me. She also treated my medical issue in the same appt. The second time was a follow up, she again didn't have any comments for how my skin was progressing, no before and after photo reviews, no plan for next steps. I had to ask her to assess my skin and provide input. She only then took a look and asked if I wanted laser again. I said yes bc I thought more could be achieved but wanted her to advise me. I also pointed out I have a red mark on my eyelid and asked if that was something she could remove. She said OK and told me to book another appointment and we'd cover both next time. When I went in today she again didn't know why I was there, and asked what I'd like done. I asked if she reviewed my chart before I came in and she said no. This made me feel very unsafe, given a laser was meant to be used on me and a red spot was going to be cut off my eye. She said the only thing she's aware of is the medical issue and blamed the front desk for her not understanding why I was there. Maybe the desk booked the wrong appt type, but this was the 3rd time seeing her, i would expect her to review my chart (which she fills in) before I arrive either way. To get a blank stare was v off putting and sketchy. I couldn't go thru with the procedures, confidence was shot. I left a private review after the first experience because it felt like something was odd, the managing director texted me she was sorry and would look into it but I guess nothing happened. I asked her to call me today and she messaged over Klara but didn't call. Super disappointing. read more

I've had a really great experience with this location. I saw Lia Trojansky several times, and she's been very helpful, patient, and professional. She's very knowledgeable and I'm happy to continue working with her. As a bonus, they also have great events and promotions that I have been able to take advantage of - and as a bonus the offices are really nice! Edit: Someone else said that people reviewing 5 stars only have 1 or 2 reviews are fake reviews. I don't review often because I don't tend to review restaurants which Yelp is used mainly for. Torn about this since my first two visits were extremely positive (one medical related on Aug 22 and one cosmetic two days later). I always make sure that my insurance is accepted before I book doctor's appointments. For the Aug 22 visit, I was told my insurance was accepted by the lady I made the appointment with. Cut to Sep 12 when I showed up for my follow-up medical visit and was told that they had actually not confirmed my insurance with the insurance company yet. They asked for my credit card as a backup form of payment. I didn't want to end up paying out of pocket for potentially two medical visits so I canceled the appointment before being seen. Even if they had not checked with my insurance company before my first visit, they had three weeks before my Sep 12 medical follow-up visit to do so. They could have seen another patient during my time slot and I would not have gone all the way crosstown after work to get to the appointment. I would only return if it has been confirmed that my insurance is accepted. read more

Big NO. Went here once (medical, not cosmetic), no problem with the service performed. However, after that, I kept getting phone calls telling me that I cancelled my appointment and I needed to call to re-book. Um, no, I showed up for my appointment, you can see that in the records, there was no cancellation and I don't need another appointment. There were many of these calls. I finally got it resolved but the person on the other end of the call was really snooty - it was kind of like "okay, you're lying, but whatever". Really? Also, I received no less than 2 or 3 emails per week, sometimes more, advertising all sorts of cosmetic services, and urging me to make an appointment. Okay, I unsubscribed and the emails stopped after a while. But then the other day I got a voicemail message telling me that I needed to call about my account. Hmmm... I'm all paid up (haven't been there in a year) and I have no idea why they needed to talk about my "account", but okay, I called them back. Without giving my personal information, they wouldn't tell me what the call was about. Yeah... no. When I said I wasn't going to be giving my birthdate and other personal information when I was simply calling them back, and asked if it was just a "make an appointment" call, she said, in a really sarcastic, snotty tone, "Without your information, I can't tell you that. Have a great day" and hung up on me. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

I went in to see Dr. Pustover as a new patient for a yearly skin check and found her to be pleasant and professional. I was greeted kindly by the woman at the front desk and promptly shown back to the examine room. Dr. Pustover took time to address any concerns and general skin care inquiries (appears I should be more vigilant with my SPF application, but I digress) and shared some samples of product upon my departure.
