    Kept calling me over and over. I couldn't reach Erika or anyone I had spoken to before.

    Worst Nightmare! This company presents itself as professional, takes your deposit, and once they have your furniture demands a much higher price! I had communicated thoroughly and clearly. Sent pictures of all items. Counted boxes, gave the final count and got a final price from Erika. Today the movers (5 men) arrived at my house, loaded everything into their truck that already had someone else's items in the back, and called me. They said that instead of my move costing the original $2967, or the updated $3604, it was going to be over $6000. "Will" with his extremely strong Hispanic accent, wanted me to ok this or he was going to unload my stuff back into the house. With it being the end of the month they may have thought that I was under pressure to move out right away. Nope. I had already agreed to pay the month of February rent, so I told them to unload it. Id rather find new movers who have integrity and do what they say they're going to do, and don't try to hold their clients personal items hostage. They didn't put my belongings back into the house, but left them out in my garage to the rats and exposure to weather.

    First of all, pre-sales pitch was okay. Then you entrust them with everything. Before realizing that this company doesn't really care about your things. Whether everything is delivered or not. When you call them back to ask for receipt after money is given they'll promise to call you back and take care of your concern. But that's gonna take forever. Sometimes they answer your call, and voila! They're talking to somebody from another phone for their next client. Three boxes didn't arrive. They said they still have it in their possession. They don't know when to deliver it.

    I cannot say enough horrible things about our experience with Bison Relocation. We reached out after seeing an ad on Facebook. The initial quote was given after we went over everything in the house to be moved. We added a few things to the estimate a few days before moving day and the estimate was adequately adjusted. We were told that the crew would disassemble all furniture, TV's etc and wrap and load and would then unload and reassemble at our new home. I On moving day 6 guys showed up, one clearly in charge and 5 other workers. They began to disassemble and wrap everything. One worker had his music blaring on his phone while he sang along. Several of the workers only spoke Spanish, they had no clue that I also speak Spanish and they 'joked' and made disparaging remarks about my husband as they packed up our house (my husband does not speak Spanish and I did not tell him what they were saying until they were gone because I didn't need him confronting them). After everything was moved out of the house and onto the driveway the guy in charge came in and asked us to step outside. Half of our stuff was on the truck, many things still remained to be loaded, all of which were on our inventory list. He told us that we had reached our limit and anything further loaded on the truck would cost extra. Of course we needed all of our stuff, washer/dryer etc so we did the only thing we could do and told him to load it. After they finished loading he informed us that we owed an EXTRA $3,000 for going over our estimated space. Again, every single thing they hauled was on our inventory list prior to moving day. They know they have you by the short hairs because you need you stuff and have not made any arrangements for a Uhaul or other form of transport because we hired them to move all of our stuff. He then told us they would be leaving that same day, delivery was marked ASAP, it would be hauled in the truck they loaded it on and no other customers would have stuff on that truck. Fast forward to the day he said it would arrive, we called the moving company since we hadn't heard anything and were advised it would be another 5-6 days before our stuff arrived. We waited a couple days and called again, dispatch had the driver call us directly to answer our question of arrival date, he said he was in New Mexico and wouldn't arrive for 3-4 more days. He also informed us he was in an 18 wheeler (our stuff was originally loaded onto a 32' truck and we were told that's what it would stay and what it would be delivered in). Another lie. The driver told us it didn't look like we could handle a semi delivery to our home without blocking the road (not many people can if you live in a neighborhood) however we had no idea the delivery would be in a semi. The driver told us that if he couldn't pull up to the house it would be an additional $1000 for them to rent a smaller truck, move our things to that truck and deliver it. We told them we would not be paying any additional money, he would have to block the road and unload at our driveway. When he finally arrived he VERY begrudgingly blocked the road and unloaded along with 3 other guys. There had been an add placed on Craigslist giving our address looking for help to unload and those were the helpers that arrived. They brought things inside and assembled some things but the driver refused to reassemble several items even though we were told the price included reassembly at the new home. All the knobs on our washer AND dryer were broken off and both machines unusable. Our roll top desk was caved in and would no longer roll open. They stripped the screws on our bed frame during disassembly, every box I have unpacked so far has had something broken in it. Too many things broken to list here. The driver spoke to everyone very aggressively and made snide comments about the helpers and the State we live in. He had me write down the things I had seen that were broken and was discouraging me from marking all of the items that were broken saying that I have a better chance of my claim being processed if I only put the most important items down. He said that the people that packed up our home were just 'telling us what we wanted to hear' when asked why they weren't reassembling all items as agreed. He refused to take away the cardboard and plastic the company had used to wrap our furniture. There are just so many things I could go on and on. If you value your items and your money DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are clearly running a racket and out to grab money from families who are in a tough spot knowing they need all of their stuff hauled and unable to make other arrangements on moving day.

    The police got involved so we can get our stuff off the truck.

    Don't be scammed by this company, the price more than doubled from the initial quote. The gentleman in charge added a $3500 cancellation fee to the signed contract after my daughter signed it and tried to say it was done before. The photos speak for themselves. It is though they think they have you by the balls because you're moving that you'll just sign it and pay the extra they quote you. He also called me crazy because he didn't know my name. I was not mean or crazy. He needs some Jesus in his life!

From the start, they took the time to walk through our home and clearly ask about everything we wanted to move so they could mentally map out how to load the truck efficiently. They were extremely diligent with protection, using blankets and/or shrink wrap on all furniture and electronics, and they were very by the book when it came to reviewing the contract and confirming details. I especially appreciated that they checked all electronics before and after the move and even had me climb into the truck at the end to verify that nothing had been left behind. The move‑in was just as smooth. We had labeled certain items to go to one level and others to another, and they followed those directions perfectly, with everything ending up exactly where it was supposed to, with no damage and no confusion. Their organization and care were obvious in every box/container they carried and every piece of furniture they placed. Moving is usually a very stressful experience, but Fito and the Pure Moving team made it feel manageable and even reassuring. I found them to be excellent in every way, and I would highly recommend both the company and this specific crew to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful, and professional help on moving day.

Then the messages started coming in. I received 10 inquiries from various moving companies, but Prodigy came in first. You can tell that the 1st messages look automated, but Abby came in with a personal message as well and sent me the specifics to my move quickly. I had her on the phone within a couple of hours. I had diligently worked through all the companies and looked at the various price points and what it included. I was really weary on how fast things would go, but Abby said, for the size of myhome, she suggested 4 movers at $195. Since they also had great reviews and seemed very professional, I completed my reservation by the end of the day. Day of move: Not going to lie, I waited too long to pack up my office and boy, did I feel it on moving day. My office was still not fully packed, it had a lot of furniture to be moved and I was literally still working when they arrived. Arrival time was between 8-9 AM. Ivan called a little after 8 AM to let me know they would be arriving in about 45 min since it was traffic and they were coming from the valley (I was in Echo Park). So I started excusing myself from work and prepared for their arrival. Everything happened so fast. I showed them around the apartment: 2 stories and 1 level up from garage (2 sets of stairs) and then a long driveway. I had stuff in the backyard and the balcony too. I asked if they could put some furniture out on the street for pickup and they helped me out with that as well! I let Ivan know that I was still working on breaking down the office, so he said he would go there last... and they all went to work. All I could here was the plastic wrap noise going round and round. They had broken down everything! Dining table, Peloton, Recliner chair.. It was amazing to watch and they did it with such care. They were done packing up in less than 4 hrs (3 bedroom apartment). We took the drive down south and they beat me there. They were already unloading and asking where to put things. Not only are they movers, they are also interior decorators LOL. We did not move into an empty house, so they helped us move things around and place stuff where we wanted. On top of that, they rebuilt all the things they took apart. I bought them lunch from a Busy Bee in San Pedro and a neighbor even offered them avocados from her tree! At the end of the day, I couldn't find my bag and phone! The whole team helped me try to find it because we thought it got buried in the garage! I had put it aside in one of the bedrooms and forgot where I had put it, but I was so grateful that they tried to help. I was thinking it would be an 8-10 hr day and it turned out to only be 7 hrs including the drive time. They made a very incredibly stressful time in my life as easy as possible. Then Abby, the manager of schedule talked as if I was wrong and was unapologetic then just started complaining WHY CANT WE JUST TAKE THIS DATE SINCE MOVERS THERE ALREADY. I told her cuase were busy today and she just handled the entire situation as if we were to blame and never apologized. On top of that , their work order of WHERE to move my things was the WRONG ADDRESS!!! They dont really care about details and when they make mistakes, they act like your wrong and are rude about it. I understand miscommunications happens all the time, but even after showing her the clear emails which she confirmed herself in writing, she had no apologies. I have zero confidence in this mover company and cancelled the enitre order and will be hiring real pros. I have no idea how they got so many high yelp reviews. What we originally thought would be a Saturday move turned into an all-day Sunday move as well because after living in the same apartment for about 8 years, we truly underestimated just how much stuff had accumulated over time, especially with my mother's belongings added in. Despite how long and overwhelming the move became, Wayne and Carlos stayed patient, professional, hardworking, and understanding the entire time. They handled everything with care and kept pushing through a very long weekend without making us feel stressed or judged about the situation.
