Recently helped my cousin move with Bison Relocation. Great experience! The team showed professionalism and efficiency throughout the process. The customer service provided a clear quote that was agreed upon from the beginning, and there were no hidden fees. On moving day, the team arrived on time and efficiently packed everything securely. They paid close attention to detail, making the entire process smooth. My cousin's belongings arrived at her new home promptly, and unloading was hassle-free. (She also didn't have a ton of stuff, so that could of been why the process went so smooth) Recommend everyone take pictures of all their belongings before the move, take pictures of all the items being loaded, and etc. Always good to have proof to prevent any issues. read more

Look at what they did to my boxes. They stepped on, smashed and ripped boxes I paid for. 251 cubic feet cost me $1745 plus a $100 tip to the guy who showed up in an 18 wheeler so he wouldn't charge me for the elevator. The 18 wheeler was very embarrassing and blocked other residents from moving into this brand new complex with their normal size Uhauls. This company is low class trash. They showed up to my place with two big trucks and had workers that I could not communicate with. Two of the workers asked to use my bathroom and I had to knock on the door after over 20 minutes to kick one of them out. Totally unprofessional and trifling. I can only imagine what he was doing since they all looked like they were programming and reaked of stale cigarette. My TV stand is completely broken and I'm missing two glass tables. And then there's Evan the good Ole American who's in sales. He will entertain you until the pick up, after that you're on your own to deal with Lupita and dem. Scam alert! This company will purposely give you a low bid and come move day it will increase significantly. They load your stuff up and demand more money. In my case "Brian" refused to unload the truck if I didn't pay him $3500 as a cancellation fee (written no where in the contract). Brian than wrote it on the contract forging the document. Police were called and he had to unload my entire house. He ripped up the contract and used profanity as he was leaving our house. A horrible scam that I hope no one else has to endure. read more

Bison Relocation honestly doesn't even deserve 1 star. I reserved 300 cubic feet on a truck for my move from LA to NY. Once the movers moved all of my boxes into the truck, they told me that I have too much stuff so they have to charge me for 400 cubic feet. When I got NY, I got a storage unit that was exactly 400 cubic feet. Long story short, my stuff didn't even come close to filling the storage unit. I have called for 3 weeks and I always get the same response, "we will pass your message on to the supervisor and he will call you back," he has never called me back. Aside from overcharging me, almost all of my boxes arrived destroyed. My antique desk that was not meant to be taken apart, arrived in pieces and the movers didn't know how to put it back together and neither do I. DO NOT USE BISON MOVERS. read more

The actual movers were kind and amazing but the office workers who make all the money are scammers. They quoted me a price that ended up being 1/2 the price we needed to pay. When the movers got there they showed us physically how much would fit; however, it was still the exact same thing on the inventory with the quote. Long story short, I was stuck in that moment with them because I turned the other movers quotes down. So I ended up paying more than I would have with 2 other companies and it took much longer than they said it would. Please don't use them - please go somewhere else!! If I could give zero stars to bison relocation company I would! First off we got a quote to move our four bedroom three bath house, it was reasonable and the people we talked to were very nice and helpful. I understand what a quote is and I am a very flexible person, however, when you get quoted one number, and then after all of your belongings are packed up, it is more than doubled the price! What are you to do? All your belongings are in the possession of the snakes. The movers were quick (Too quick). They came TWO days earlier than agreed-upon and said they would help pack free of charge (not worth it)! They even had the audacity to take before asking some of our snacks and food that was in our garage, "for the guys. " We were told we have 30 days of free storage (NOT TRUE) they called a week before our 30 days was up and said they would be delivering the next day. We told them the earliest we could receive our stuff would be in the following Friday (still within our timeframe). Then on Monday, they called again to deliver, because they were unloading another person nearby. When we told them we could not take our things until Friday like we had agreed-upon, we were told they would charge us $2100 per day if it was not unloaded today. Then they tried to convince us to move storage units because they were already there. My husband had to leave work early to meet them at our storage unit again four days earlier than what we had just discussed. I called the company and when I spoke to the "supervisor James", he lied some more and then rudely hung up on me. I am not sure how these people are still in business. If you are moving, please, please, please, find anybody else! Bison relocation will only cause you more stress and headaches in this already stressful process. read more

Don't trust this company for your moving. They lure you by quoting lowest almost 50% less than their competitors. All the gimmick starts when they come to pick up the stuff. Even though you include everything you want to ship in the quote, after loading half of the stuff they claim you have reached your quoted space. I got quote for 300 cu ft, I hardly loaded 24 boxes each 5 cu ft and one 6 inches queen bed and they said I reached 300 cu ft and at that time for the rest of the stuff to ship they asked for another $2000 and I am leaving state and next day is my flight I have to throw away all the remaining stuff. Sent pictures of all items. Counted boxes, gave the final count and got a final price from Erika. Today the movers (5 men) arrived at my house, loaded everything into their truck that already had someone else's items in the back, and called me. They said that instead of my move costing the original $2967, or the updated $3604, it was going to be over $6000. "Will" with his extremely strong Hispanic accent, wanted me to ok this or he was going to unload my stuff back into the house. With it being the end of the month they may have thought that I was under pressure to move out right away. Nope. I had already agreed to pay the month of February rent, so I told them to unload it. I did some research on them and nothing but 1 star reviews and ALL of the reviews were bait and switch complaints. So I said NOPE to them. I cannot say enough horrible things about our experience with Bison Relocation. We reached out after seeing an ad on Facebook. The initial quote was given after we went over everything in the house to be moved. We added a few things to the estimate a few days before moving day and the estimate was adequately adjusted. We were told that the crew would disassemble all furniture, TV's etc and wrap and load and would then unload and reassemble at our new home. I On moving day 6 guys showed up, one clearly in charge and 5 other workers. They began to disassemble and wrap everything. One worker had his music blaring on his phone while he sang along. Several of the workers only spoke Spanish, they had no clue that I also speak Spanish and they 'joked' and made disparaging remarks about my husband as they packed up our house (my husband does not speak Spanish and I did not tell him what they were saying until they were gone because I didn't need him confronting them). After everything was moved out of the house and onto the driveway the guy in charge came in and asked us to step outside. Half of our stuff was on the truck, many things still remained to be loaded, all of which were on our inventory list. He told us that we had reached our limit and anything further loaded on the truck would cost extra. Of course we needed all of our stuff, washer/dryer etc so we did the only thing we could do and told him to load it. After they finished loading he informed us that we owed an EXTRA $3,000 for going over our estimated space. Again, every single thing they hauled was on our inventory list prior to moving day. They know they have you by the short hairs because you need you stuff and have not made any arrangements for a Uhaul or other form of transport because we hired them to move all of our stuff. He then told us they would be leaving that same day, delivery was marked ASAP, it would be hauled in the truck they loaded it on and no other customers would have stuff on that truck. Fast forward to the day he said it would arrive, we called the moving company since we hadn't heard anything and were advised it would be another 5-6 days before our stuff arrived. We waited a couple days and called again, dispatch had the driver call us directly to answer our question of arrival date, he said he was in New Mexico and wouldn't arrive for 3-4 more days. He also informed us he was in an 18 wheeler (our stuff was originally loaded onto a 32' truck and we were told that's what it would stay and what it would be delivered in). Another lie. The driver told us it didn't look like we could handle a semi delivery to our home without blocking the road (not many people can if you live in a neighborhood) however we had no idea the delivery would be in a semi. The driver told us that if he couldn't pull up to the house it would be an additional $1000 for them to rent a smaller truck, move our things to that truck and deliver it. We told them we would not be paying any additional money, he would have to block the road and unload at our driveway. When he finally arrived he VERY begrudgingly blocked the road and unloaded along with 3 other guys. There had been an add placed on Craigslist giving our address looking for help to unload and those were the helpers that arrived. They brought things inside and assembled some things but the driver refused to reassemble several items even though we were told the price included reassembly at the new home. All the knobs on our washer AND dryer were broken off and both machines unusable. Our roll top desk was caved in and would no longer roll open. They stripped the screws on our bed frame during disassembly, every box I have unpacked so far has had something broken in it. Too many things broken to list here. The driver spoke to everyone very aggressively and made snide comments about the helpers and the State we live in. He had me write down the things I had seen that were broken and was discouraging me from marking all of the items that were broken saying that I have a better chance of my claim being processed if I only put the most important items down. He said that the people that packed up our home were just 'telling us what we wanted to hear' when asked why they weren't reassembling all items as agreed. He refused to take away the cardboard and plastic the company had used to wrap our furniture. There are just so many things I could go on and on. If you value your items and your money DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are clearly running a racket and out to grab money from families who are in a tough spot knowing they need all of their stuff hauled and unable to make other arrangements on moving day. read more

This was a horrible moving experience. First, they will pack half your stuff and then charge you additional fees to pack the rest. Then, they will destroy your items. The driver that dropped off our things was very apologetic and took several pictures of crushed furniture and destroyed personal items. We filed a claim for thousands of dollars of damage and received an offer of $123 to compensate us. It was devastating. Horrible experience. We came to this company by way of Master Moving. The website leads customers to believe this is a family business and a few family members are going to show up and move you. When I booked, I spoke with someone who sounded professional on the phone and said it was his company. It provided a quote and I gave a credit card. On the day of the move, 5 men, showed up in a truck that said Bison Relocation ( not Master Moving). The workers were polite, but admittedly when I selected the company it was based on the presentation of the website and the professionalism of the workers on the phone. No one disclosed a company with a different name would show up. It was alarming as a single female, and was confusing as to who these people were, why they were not in a truck that said Master Moving, and why there were so many of them. The scheduler only said 3. Could you imagine having 5 men show up to work and you are alone? It was scary and unanticipated. They loaded the truck halfway ( which was going across the country btw) and then they said they needed to upcharge 1k more for the move. When I complained they only said the quote was inaccurate and that we took up more space ( even though the picture was provided). They waited until I was in a vulnerable position to say something when it should have either been addressed via the photo, or before half of my items were on the truck. When I tried to speak up and talk to the person who booked us they referred us back to the workers who were there. Not Master Movers who we thought we were doing business with. Since I didn't have a backup plan, and they waited until I had no option, I was essentially strong-armed into an upcharge on a 3-day weekend. They also showed up a day in advance. At some point as I was complaining they said they refunded my deposit, but when I asked for a refund a bunch of women got ghetto on the phone. No professional attempt was made to reconcile the issue. No refund receipt was provided. They then told me I had to pay by wire to move forward with the move. I never thought I would be in a position to have a group of men force me to pay wire to get my stuff back. I was scared, so I paid the money and now I'm worried they won't follow through. This was a horrible experience, and showing up and demanding payment by wire transfer is problematic and scary on so many levels. Based on feedback online these people might be okay if you have a short-distance move in LA, but if not, I'd stay away from it. The whole thing was stressful and shady. Asking to be paid by Zelle or bank wire is a huge red flag. And if they are arriving as a third-party group, with more workers than dislcosed, that should be disclosed in advance. read more

Beleive the bad reviews as I'm sure the other must be owners or employees. Any company that once they have majority of your stuff loaded increases the move price by thousand of dollars and only increases it again before delivery should not be allowed to be in business. Read the fine print and do not listen to the lies. If loading wasnt bad enought Bison has figured out over time that people and not satisfied so they make you pay in cash or cashiers check before they will unload. Bison Crews were fantastic. I was very impressed how they wrapped and protected our belongings and saved our walls from any scratches! They would have also boxed all our household items but we did that in the days leading up to save time on moving day. You can not beat the cost either. We received quotes from a couple different places and their cost was the lowest by a mile. The day before we were supposed to get a call of what day our things would be picked up, the driver calls and asks to pick up an early (ok fine) 5 dudes show up & even though they require you to be as detailed as possible give count of your items and send pictures of odd items. Once 90% of your things are loaded the price magically increases bc even though they give you the square footage you items are (plus they include measurements of boxes etc) they claim your items take up more space (keep in my the square footage they claim changed like 3 times) Then they strong arm you in to having to pay or leave your things (which when you're moving across the country you don't have a choice) We put a tracker in our items to be able to know when our things should be arriving as it was a cross country move. (Thankfully we did) Our items were picked up from AZ & moved to CA when it should have gone to the east coast. They claimed the items where never in CA (they were) see the picture attached We attempted to reach out to figure out the pricing issue the following morning once they were open of course you can't get ahold of anyone, thankfully my bank had flagged the charge (after they took my items) which is the only way we were able to get ahold of someone from bison, the accounting person called to ask to authorize the charge in which I said I would once I could discuss the increase in pricing that shouldn't of been. The person who called me back started the conversation by saying they were returning my items and canceling the move as "I had requested in a email he got from his end" which wasn't the case I stated I would call my bank to approve the charge once we could talk about the pricing increase and being strong armed. (This is where it got sketchier) he told us he was canceling our order and retuning our things (then later asked for a wire transfer or Zelle to continue the move which okay that doesn't sound like a scam) They then gave us other pricing and different square footage, then told us to find other movers that our items would be retuned that day, then within minutes they said it would be returned in 2 days & then later told it would be returned by end of the week they claimed our items were already in NM (they were in Van Nuy CA) the following day our items moved and passed through AZ of course they didn't bring out items they contained to move headed east. There is so much more that happened until we ended up having to pay the over priced cost to get our things that of course came damaged, our $200 office chair is broken, stand up desk broken and doesn't rise, damaged a tv that was in a tv box and wrapped, boxes were caved in, our tv stand is damaged along with other small items. (Which by the way their "very professional" movers loaded the truck, we should of known) If it happens to you, and you don't receive your items, you can file a FMCSA complaint (goes to DOT) 21 days after the date your contract shows your items should be delivered. As well you can find any company info you'd need on the CA Secretary of State or the DOT as it's public information. I sure do wish I could give this company some negative stars. Firstly, giving us a $2500 quote, saying that our size storage unit would be that price, sounds great? Doesn't matter. The movers came, looked at our storage unit and said "it won't fit in the truck." along with someone elses stuff that took up half the truck already. They took EVERYTHING out of our storage unit, then told us it would be $8000 to move everything cause they would need a bigger truck. How did it go from 2500 to 8000? I understand an estimate is just that, but that's a big gap in price. We told them we can't afford that, so the mover said he would pack 5000 worth of stuff in it, leaving half of our things in the storage unit saying that moving just the boxes on our own would be easy. Saying he is "doing us a favor" by taking all the furniture. Not to mention when they were packing and wrapping our stuff, he ran out, so we had to use OUR gas to drive Bison's "professional" movers to Harbor Freight to buy more materials. They took our tables apart, and sent one table to Oregon ( where we are moving ), without the legs. So I called the company, and the woman I spoke to didnt understand that if you quote us, saying the price is based on cubic feet, if ALL of our things were in the storage unit.. in that specific size unit, how come it didnt all fit in the truck that you said should fit it all? That sounds like you miscalculated, not me. I asked twice to speak to the supervisor, and she told me BOTH times I called on different days that the supervisor would call me back. Never did. So comes the day that they were supposed to deliver, said they would be there between 12pm and 1pm. Didnt show up until 8:30pm at night, and then told us they couldn't move our refrigerator upstairs. Then said if we paid them even MORE money they would dump it. My kitchenaid refrigerator. To dump it cause they're too lazy to bring it upstairs. We had to take the doors off ourselves, my husband and I, after paying them the amount of money we did. My husband is disabled and that is why we hired people to move our things. But all they did was take advantage of that. They even asked to use our restroom when they were here. Then had the nerve on the phone to tell me if they had to walk far they would charge me for that, and for the one set of steps. I told them I wasn't paying and that was that. They scammed enough. Not to mention when they arrived to deliver, they wrapped my husbands computer desk too tight and bent it so now it is lopsided. Broke one of my picture frames, and bent the corner of one of my vinyls. We are also missing one of our display shelves, but we have the glass shelves to it. So.. I dont know who has it. They brought a like $400 bow and arrow to us and I told them it didn't belong to us and he just stared at me and was like "Are you sure?"and I'm like yeah, I've never owned one of these before, it isnt ours. And he handed it to me, wouldn't take it back, and said "have fun!" So I have someone elses $400 bow, and now they're out of it. The mover refused to take it back. Do NOT use this company. They know that, and know that you will have little choice on moving day but to accept the 2x or 3x quote once the movers are loading your boxes. Look VERY CAREFULLY at the volume estimates! For example - small student desk. It measured about 3'x2'x32" - they put that down as 10 cubic feet. Actual cubic feet was about 16. They pulled the cushions off the couch, put them in a wardrobe box and charged extra for the wardrobe box. To them, a small moving box is 1'x1'x18". What can you fit in that size box, a toaster? On top of all this, they were not careful - most all boxes were crushed. Fortunately, nothing was broken, as far as I could tell. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! One star is too generous... They put last minute charges that tripled the estimate they gave us, then took an additional 2 weeks to deliver, once delivered we see half of our stuff had been broken. Lupe and Ben from the office are rude and cursed us out many times screaming at us. Do not try to talk when Lupe is talking because she will greet you with a "let me finish". We were scammed and are filing multiple reports and insurance claims. Would have been cheaper just buying all new stuff. DO NOT BY ANY MEANS USE THIS COMPANY!!!! read more

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! This company is a scam. They will purposefully underbid you during your estimate and then show up, start packing up all your items on your list, and then not even half way done, they will pull you aside and tell you that they have to charge you more to complete the order and in our case it was double the amount. Make sure you check that they add all your items correctly on their inventory sheet too because they will try to lie about it. And then on top of that, they are not organized and will lose your items. We lost three mattresses in the move but, now in all fairness, they did pay the cost for the mattresses but it's the point that we needed those and had they been organized in the first place, they wouldn't have lost them. Thank goodness what they lost was replaceable because had it been some of my personal, non replaceable, items I would have flipped. read more

I'm currently in the process of moving and this has been the worst experience ever. My items were picked up on 5/4 and I have called numerous times and received no answers to my direct questions. I have no idea where my items are and when they will be delivered ( the date and information keeps changing). I've been waiting a week for a supervisor to call me and have yet to receive a call. The quote was changed several times despite having only a one bedroom apartment. There was also a promise of reassembling items upon delivery. Obviously the team sent to deliver was either not aware of this service or didn't care about the policy. I would absolutely not recommend this company for a move. Intgrety and reputation does not seem to be a concern of the team or possibly ownership. read more

The phone quote was mis quoted twice. They came and wrapped everything, took everything to the front of the house. Loaded up 1/3 of the stuff and said that was the quoted amount. You don't really have an option when all you stuff is wrapped. Price went from 5,000 to 14,000! What do you say at that point, you don't have an option. The guy knew the stuff was more, but never said anything during the process till it was too late. Be careful, get a few bids. Don't use this company! read more

My husband received the quote of $3800 based off an inventory list. It was basically enough furniture for a 1 bedroom house plus garage items. the movers came and when they filled the truck up to what they claim was the quote cubic feet half my stuff was still sitting outside. it ended up being an additional $5000. I have tape residue on all my stuff that they taped drawers shut etc. some boxes destroyed and file cabinets dented all up and an antique magazine table arrive broken. They had zero respect for other peoples belongings. If you choose to use them I would know how to figure your cubic feet ahead of time, pack everything yourself take pictures of your items and the condition they are in before they take them and make sure they shrink wrap before they tape otherwise you will be spending hours taking off tape residue. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any company at any time in my life. They lie, don't perform and have terrible customer service.
