If you aren't worried about your items going missing, over spending, and having terrible customer service after your move, then this is the moving team for you! Bison Relocation has great customer service while trying to take your money, then afterwards when you have issues to discuss they amazingly no longer wish to speak to you. While there were several bad reviews, I trusted that those were few and far between and hoped my move would be one of the good ones. During the estimate process, I made sure to give as much information as possible with the amount and sizes of items I would need moved. Even, my Sales Rep, didn't seem to concerned but I trusted that since this was his job, he knew what he was talking about. So imagine my surprise that once our items were loaded onto the truck, we somehow were now taking up double the space originally quoted and now had to pay nearly $1000 extra. We were told our items would arrive on a Saturday and they didn't arrive until 7:30p on Monday night. My apartment complex has a commercial semi loading zone but my truck driver, who told me he had been driving for 20 years, couldn't get his truck into the loading zone. Then to my surprise he said it would be a $500 long carry fee. Why was I told originally that a long carry fee was if the truck had to park an extremely far distance despite them being parked outside my balcony? This driver had 2 helpers, which to my surprise were apparently found on Craigslist, so now to strangers who may not have been fully vetted know where I live and how to get to my apartment. Despite that, these helpers were more friendly and helping than the actual driver. After bringing all of my items into my apartment, the driver then said he was done and leaving, I had to remind him that they were supposed to put my furniture together, per my contract. The driver then informed me that because some of my items were from IKEA, they don't put IKEA together. That had never been disclosed to me at any point in the process. The two helpers from Craigslist were more helpful and put my furniture together, extremely kind men and I am so thankful for them during a stressful time. That same night we asked our driver where our missing TV is, he said it must be in one of our boxes. While I'm not great at math, I can clearly tell that a TV is not going to fit inside a wardrobe box. I am also, missing a box of several items, many of which are sentimental, how do you put a price on that? Several of my items were also damaged in the move, some of which I still cannot figure out how it would be damage in certain places. I have spent several days trying to get a hold of anyone in their office to discuss my issues and was told there is no supervisor on site and they just come in when they want and will call us if they happen to have any free time. So instead of enjoying my new apartment, I now have to fight to get a hold of anyone. This is extremely frustrating and based on several other reviews here, these exact same issues are happening to other people. My experience with Bison Relocation has been the worst I have ever encountered with a moving company. Initially, I was quoted a price that seemed reasonable, but this price changed three times, ultimately reaching nearly three times the original quote. When I expressed my concerns to Steve, the representative I spoke with, he assured me the price would not change, which was evidently not the case. The unprofessionalism of the staff answering calls at the main office and the dispatch office was appalling. Despite numerous attempts, I was never able to speak with a supervisor or manager. I had requested a pick-up date of June 15, yet the movers arrived on June 14 at 9 PM and did not finish until nearly midnight. After loading my belongings and significantly increasing the price, they even had the audacity to ask for a tip. I was informed my belongings would be delivered on June 22, which did not happen. Over the weekend, I could not reach anyone as apparently, they do not have staff working on weekends. When I finally reached someone on Monday, I was told they had up to 21 days to deliver my items. After a week of back-and-forth discussions and having to involve a lawyer, my belongings were finally delivered on June 29. Not to mention I missed a week's worth of work. Upon delivery, the movers demanded full payment before unloading and caused damage to my door and wall during the process. Several items were broken, and one box is still missing, with the company being unhelpful in resolving the issue. Overall, the service I received was abysmal. I strongly advise against using Bison Relocation for any reason unless you are prepared for exorbitant costs, significant delays, and potential damage or loss of your belongings. The quote I was given was doubled once the movers got 1/2 my stuff loaded up. I tried to call and text Erica (that's the name on the text she gave me) while the loaders were still there and of course, she never answered my calls or text. Then the guy in charge advised me his manager said they could finish the job for double the initial price. I emailed and text for a receipt for the cash I had to pay at pickup but still have not received it. They had me to pick a date for delivery and so I picked Saturday the 9th. Then I get a text from advising me the dispatch department will be the ones to access my file and I would have to contact them if I had any further questions. I contacted them for my receipt and they didnt have that information of course. I get a call from the driver saying he would be here Friday, the 8th- I advised him we had to work Mon-Fri and that's why I scheduled it for Saturday delivery and he basically told me he would be in Friday and was leaving Friday. Luckily my husband was able to take off work (costing us more money) Then of course they are in an 18 wheeler (my stuff was loaded in a box truck) and could not get in the storage facility and was told we could rent a truck from UHAUL and they would put it in the UHaul and take it to our storage for additional money!! The initial quote was for around $4200 and it ended up costing me around $9200. Also, we did not receive all our items that was on the truck they loaded with us there!! This company will penny and dime you to death knowing you don't have a choice but to pay them. I will never use this company again nor would I advise anyone to use this company unless you have loose pockets and loads of money!! read more

I have to tell you about my moving experience. I have heard horror stories about using movers and was very nervous. It took me too long to decide to hire someone and then who to hire. "Bison Relocation" had the lowest quote so at the last possible moment (a week before my move) I pulled the trigger. I was a difficult customer in that I had a tight window of time. This move was the best it could have been. Only two guys moving a 3 bedroom home. They wrapped all the furniture and made a 25 mile move in a very short time. They continually worked until they had everything placed in my new house exactly the way I wanted it. They made sure I checked to be sure nothing was damaged in any way before the left.
