Aside from the cauliflower appetizer no one was super thrilled with their food and its all just a tourist trap. Unfortunately, the ceviche raised immediate concerns. The shrimp appeared significantly undercooked, and some pieces were not properly cleaned. Serving seafood in that condition reflects a serious lack of attention to food quality and preparation standards. The fajita trio was equally disappointing. The carne asada was overcooked but manageable, while the chicken was extremely dry, overcooked, and inedible. What was most concerning was the lack of accountability afterward. Since it was late and no manager was available, I contacted the restaurant the following morning expecting a reasonable effort to address the issue. Instead, I was simply told, "You should have told us last night," with no interest in resolving the complaint. Visited this location to watch a boxing match and I had a good time. My server Shirley P took care of me and made wonderful suggestions to help me choose the most cost effective option based on my desires. She also stopped by and chatted with me regularly. She was into sports which made it even more interesting. She used to box. The appetizer sampler was a good choice and was tasty. The yard model draft was priced pretty decent for the location. The music after the fight ended was good. They had staff in the bathroom to give you cologne or whatever else you may need. What surprised me most were the drinks that cost $45. The prices aren't on the menu anywhere, but when I ordered a house margarita on the rocks I wasn't expecting it to come in a giant plastic yard glass. It's supposed to be about 28 ounces, which is way more margarita than I wanted, especially needing to drive my rental car back to the hotel. I'm not even sure if they sell smaller drinks--everyone at our table was served in these tall glasses. They had a buy one get one free promo happening and they let me bundle my drink and my daughter's virgin pina colada together ... but still. $45!! The food was fine - it arrived warm and it didn't take a really long time despite our large party. This is a party place, the decor is loud and fun. The staff runs around putting suggestive signs on your chairs. There is a DJ stand, although no DJ at 6pm on a Saturday. Worst experience I've ever had. We have always loved Senior Frogs. Everything seemed ok, but when a balloon maker came around we told our 7 and 9 year old girls to go ask for one. He ignored them completely and when they asked him for one he said "no" and proceeded to make "penis and balls" balloons for the adult female that walked up next. We then figured we would ask for them as an adult and walked over at the same time that the Congo line was going around. We asked him for one and he then turned to the Congo line and started just giving "unmade" balloons to them and told us to get in the Congo line. Completely disrespectful to us and our daughters who didn't understand why everyone else got one but he refused to give them one. And $60 for one drink seemed excessive but that's my fault for not looking at the price first if that's what it really was. The music selection throughout the night was a wide variety of Pop spanning several decades. They played everything from Michael Jackson to Aerosmith to Ricky Martin. My bartender at the main bar. He was very attentive and quick. It wasn't too busy on a Tuesday night but her high level of energy did not reflect that. The music was upbeat but low enough to socialize with others nearby. Overall I had a blast. I ordered a margarita and the tacos. Both were phenomenal. This place has plenty of eye candy in the form of waiters and waitresses, as well as Bright lights and Big screens playing your favorite sporting events. I went here while on a birthday trip for one of my two best friends. Her parents said "We have a very fun place to take you guys", but I couldn't mentally prepare for the moment I set foot in this restaurant. My bestie's parents must have told them it was her birthday, because they came out with a flashing sign and half of the staff was clapping and blowing whistles! It was hilarious. I went for a friend's birthday recently and I was disappointed. I have seen Senor Frog's all over social media and some of my friends have told me it was fun. We went in and the line to get in was quite long. The security pats you down and also assigns wrist bands depending on your age. If you have reservations be sure to arrive there early because there is no parking. We went on a Friday night so it explains it. There is a cover of $10 just to come in after 9 pm and I believe the person in the front told me it was $5 before 9 pm. We then waited for a table though we already had a reservation since our party came a little late which was fine. The service was ok. It was hard getting our server to come and take our orders but the food came out quickly. The food was barely decent my friend couldn't finish his shrimp burrito. I had nachos with the table and a fajitas with carne asada and the meat was spoiled. The meat on the nachos had a sour after taste and was cold when it was served. My friend enjoyed his time there but I would not come here for the food or drinks. All together I spent $60 for food I could barely eat and just for the "vibes".
