You walk through a tropical forest and lively music as you make your way to their water seating area. You sit on barstools with your feet in the water by the docks. So cool! Sunset was gorgeous! Drinks are on point. Palm trees are beautiful! We also booked a table to eat outside under the trees. Food was all great. Ordered fries, Jamaican sandwich, fish quesadilla and Baja chicken wrap. The two stars is for the mixed drink and the location with a cool outdoor appeal. Our server wasn't bad. We went right around 2pm. Had about a 30 minute wait and the downfall was the overpriced food that was not very enjoyable. Then the extremely rude bouncer who yelled at my son for walking around. He didn't realize the section for adults only, then the bouncer decided to continue calling him "child", he's 14.... Just rude and very underwhelming. *This review is solely for the dining experience* Being in compliance with the covid precautions you could choose where to sit and that determined your wait time. Initially wanted to eat in the bay which was a 45 minute wait. They take your number which is cool just in case you don't want to wait in the area with everyone else. They allow you to grab drinks by the bar and chill in the waiting area. I order a Pina Colada because most of their drinks used dark rum and I was already pregaming with light tequila. Another drink was ordered which the bartender didn't know how to make it so we told her the ingredients. Finally the wait time is up and it's a little chillier to be eating in the water. Also, by then the tide was so high it had surpassed the bottom of the seats and further out table length. I'm not sure how people ate comfortably out there but I wasn't with it. Luckily our hostess sat us near the water but on good ol dry sand. Didn't need drinks because was still working on the cups from the bar. Since the theme is Caribbean I decided to go with the Jerk Chicken Cheese steak. I thought this would be interesting to try. Waited about maybe 10 minutes and the plating was underwhelming. I didn't smell any jerk seasoning coming from my plate nor was it hot like it just came off the grill. My bite confirmed my thoughts. A cold jerk less sandwich. There wasn't even the slightest hint of spice to consider this jerk chicken. If you're going to embody a culture, their cuisine, and make a profit off of it make sure it resembles what your marketing. I call colonizer on this one because there is no way that any self respecting Caribbean person would pass this off as any resemblance of Caribbean cuisine. Heard a lot about this place and finally decided to try it out unfortunately it was nothing special started out with drinks and we asked for Josie special it was ok a little on the watered down side we all tried something different no one was impressed we ordered an assortment of food for a seaside restaurant we were expecting higher quality the fried shrimp were frozen like the ones you find at fast food locations the fish tacos were drenched with to much sauce taking away from the fish itself the seafood platter came with shrimp fish and a crab cake the shrimp were fresh fish was ok the crab cake was moist but the plate had too much black pepper every bite you took the pepper over powered the food because of COVID-19 they serve you in disposable plates which is perfectly fine. For those who do not have young kids, Seacrets is a must stop place in Ocean City. The best time to go is in the day so you can get seats in the Bay for some drinks. It often turns into an all day experience because of how fun it is. Night time at Seacrets is also a fun experience. They will often times have lives bands and entertainment. Seacrets has some great food options as well. My favorites are the crab bread (which is just crab pizza) and the jerk chicken. The pizza is one of my favorite meals in Ocean City. read more

I grew up in MD, but I have never been to Ocean City up until recently. This is more of a college town that I can see gets rampaged by a lot of college students on Spring break. But if you're looking to come here for a party of some sort, there is absolutely without a doubt one place in mind that everyone goes to and that is Seacrets. You cannot come here without visiting this place first. It is pretty much a giant party on the beach. They often have a dj playing music (at least on Saturdays when I've been). The cool thing about this place is that they have bar stools in the water as well as floating tubes that you can just float on and relax. If you don't like the water, no worries. The water is very shallow. You won't drown lol. There is this one slushy drink called the pain killer that everyone seems to get. Add an extra shot to that and you're golden. A few MAJOR tips to note about this place. Whatever you have that isn't water proof, LEAVE it. I've been last year and this year. My apple watch is water resilient and it had no problems being in the water. However, my iPhone 6 got wet last yea, but once it dried out it was fine. This year, I put it in a ziplock bag for extra protection but that didn't do me any favors. My phone was ruined this time so i came back home having to get a new phone. Oh well, RIP iPhone 6. The other tip is to get there early. If it's a nice day, trust me, the beach will be packed! You'll be fighting for a barstool on the beach. read more

Secrets is my absolute favorite spot to grab a drink with a friend when I'm in ocean city. It's 5 city blocks long and includes both indoor and out door dance bars and the only place I know of that allows you to actually have a table in the ocean. If you drink on the water Bring some cheap sandals because there aren't anyplace to store your shoes. But its quite an experience. They have a DJ that sits out at the dock. There is an indoor and outdoor bar and indoor and outdoor tables. And the coral/glass decorations and palm trees give you a tropical feel. I recommend the rum drinks too they have plenty to choose from. The crab pretzels and wings were amazing too. Brian our server who was a white guy with locks who was so cool you would never forget him. He was very friendly and attentive and he's been serving up the best drinks in town right there for years. I've come here once before but never to sit down and eat. My husband and I decided to give it a go with our two small boys. There's lots of parking and they were open even during Covid-19. There was no wait to go for lunch around 1:30/2. Our server was great and was able to give great recommendations. The food and drink menu are extensive, which is great if you are someone who needs options. I had the orange crush and it was excellent. I also had a Bloody Mary (spicy) which was good too. I had the blackened fish tacos, which were excellent. My husband and I also split the crab dip, which is some of the best I've had down here over the years. Great place to have drinks at when in Ocean City. I would highly recommend the bay/ seats in water area for drinks --especially during sunset. It's beautiful. Unfortunately, they do not allow food in the water area so if you want to eat, you have to add your name to a separate reservation. This can be time consuming especially on days when the restaurant is packed. I suggest having someone in your party go back out and get in line and make a reservation for food while everyone else holds the seats in the water. That way you're waiting for your turn to eat while also enjoying the experience of the seats in the water. I will say though, the drinks are very good! Keep in mind that not all seats have umbrellas so you may be under the sun and the drinks can affect you quicker if you don't monitor yourself and they will kick you out if you don't behave :). Lastly, your clothes WILL get wet so keep that in mind. You're also more than welcome to just wear a bathing suit. read more

Super Fun Bar!!!!! I can remember this place like it was yesterday. The last time we were there was around November of 2010. Yes, 2010!!! Super delicious drinks. Super fun staff. Great view of the water. We met so many fun folks here. I think we tried 7 different frozen drinks (yes in November) and loved each one. We know we had way too many drinks but it didn't matter, we were on vacation and weren't driving. My recollection is that we were for about 6 hours....drinking and having a blast! I'm from New York, so when I got to this place, I was on high alert because the first thing they did was have me go through the metal director and check my bag for weapons wouldn't say I liked that at all. The tables were dirty; they served my food on plastic plates and gave me plastic utensils. The food was the nastiest thing I ever had in my life! The rice and peas were dry and very hard. The Crab Cakes were Burnt! I wouldn't suggest going to this place to eat; everyone seems overworked and tired, so do not expect the staff to be friendly and attentive. One of our favorite places in OC. The atmosphere is second to none. Feels like being in the tropics except you're not! Food is good. We always go for lunch nowadays since we have a kiddo. Lunch/dinner/nightlife are very different situations at this place, lol. We like the nachos, soups, salads, and jerk chicken. I totally understand them not getting kids in the water because that would just get messy especially with alcohol in the mix. Make sure you bring your ID because they are pretty strict. It can be a very fun vibe. EXTREMELY popular so I hope you like being around people if you go. It is a VERY big place, and if you have a family, you can sit outside and the like and enjoy the island feel (it IS kid friendly).....the night club area is extremely popular too, but obviously isn't for families so much. The distillery is interesting. Worth a tour if looking for something different. Gun to my head, the food is Ok at best... I would say truly it's hit or miss. There are MUCH better places in the area if you want the focus to be a dinner, but if you want it for the vibe of drinks and something to munch on with a fun island feel. You can't find this many other places close by which is this big. Overall staff are fine. Recently visited Seacrest looking for a different option while in OC. It has multiple spaces and the waitress was nice. The hostesses were standing around and acted like they didn't want to be bothered. The place is way more American than Jamaican or Caribbean. I'd consider it Jamaica lite with trash cans painted in Jamaican colors, a Bob sled and a few Jamaican-inspired (not authentic) dishes on the menu. What can I say. This place is one-of-a-kind! Go here for the atmosphere where it is different during the day and night. During the day, you can go to bars and eat outside and go to the swim-up tables, and even arrive by boat if you want. At night, it transforms into a party scene. They have so many different areas that have their own unique atmosphere. Live bands, DJs, techno and lights in the night club, a sports bar area and much more. This little shanty-themed town is awesome. There's a cover charge that ranges on the weekend. There are so many different bar areas that it's bpretty quick to get a drink even when it's busy which means they're well staffed. They have a good amount of security "Peace police" that make you feel safe. There is a bus right across the street for $4 so you can take that after a night of partying (don't rely on Ubers because they're pretty scarce in the area). Seacrets is honestly one of my favorite places in OC. To start, the atmosphere is crazy fun, with great music and a fun Caribbean beach theme. On our trip to the beach this summer, our family tried a few options that were delicious. My favorites were the ribs. Very juicy and overall delicious. I also had a burger one afternoon and it was surprisingly good (I hadn't ever had a burger here before) and very customizable. The regular fries are super boring, so I recommend swapping them for something else. My wife enjoyed the fried shrimp which was just typical fried shrimp. The alcoholic beverages are awesome, especially if you get them for happy hour pricing. The Pina Coladas are my preference but there's lots to choose from. Now, I have to be honest. I want to give Seacrets 5 stars, but the prices are very high for many items and their crab dip is just not great. It has onions in it (which this place is the only place I've ever seen that does that) and it does not have nearly enough crab in it. Apart from that, we love this place. read more

I had an AWESOME time here with the Bride Tribe during our bachelorette girl's trip to Ocean City. Seacrets was definitely high on our list of spots to visit while in the area. The weather was "meh" weekend we came but we lucked out on a Sunday and walked a few blocks from our rental to enjoy the day. We got to the resort in the afternoon and they were packed. We took off our flip flops and walked out into the water, hauling our bags overhead to some of the furthest inflatables since that's all that was available. We lucked out with a few islands of floaties all tied together so we utilized one for our belongings and laid out in the sun on the others. We also scored a huge floatie that had seats but it could only accommodate maybe one or two people since it was fully inflated. The atmosphere was great! It felt like being on spring break at a party on the water. Everyone was nice and our server was a boss. Some guys tried to buy our drinks from her because they didn't want to wait and she put them in their place. She was nonstop back and forth to shore with trays filled with 15+ drinks each trip. She definitely deserved her tip. They offer specials, even on the weekends so make sure you ask what they have. Pain In The Ass is a definite must try and their frozen lemonade (I forget the name) was very good. We were so tired after only 3 hours out on the water from the sun, dranks and battling the waves caused by the boats and jetskis. It was soooo worth it. The only other answer we had that say was a last night dinner so it was the perfect all day outing. I definitely want to come back again earlier in the season when it's much warmer, even though mid-August should have been a scorcher. There is a shower at the shoreline so you can rinse off your feet after walking in the sand. There's also a short boardwalk where you can sit and people watch. The coolest thing were the people who drove up on their jetskis or anchored their pontoons nearby by, jumped our and swam to the shore to order drinks and hang out. Pro Tips: Don't bring a lot of stuff and whatever you bring, make sure it's waterproof. We didn't realise we would have no place to keep our stuff. It would have been nice if there were lockers or something. I would suggest a small waterproof bag to keep your ID (they check L identification at the entrance) cell phone, money and towel in. Wear your bathing suit and not much else. We arrived late so we ended up having to search for the furthest floaties. We had a few that were tied together so we used one for all of our bags and laid out on the others. I had on a bathing suit and a cover up that I didn't kind getting wet. Order your drinks regularly or just go to the bar and get your own. It took us forever to get our drinks so whenever the server brought us our order, we placed the next one because by the time she came back, we'd be ready for another. If you're closer to the shore, I suggest just going to the bar to grab your own drinks. Don't get wasted. It was a little scary seeing some of the other patrons in the same water you're standing in, looking like they're about to hurl. Double-fisting, bikini/trunk clad drunken chicks/guys, bobbing around like they'll lose it any minute. read more

While spending some time in Ocean City Maryland, one can enjoy and engage in so many great activities....go to the amusement park, play mini-golf, go to the arcade, sighsee, go the beach etc. One of the coolest places that we went to was Seacrets. Seacrets provided fabulous food and fun in a beach type looking environment including sand on the floor in certain sections and beautiful lighting! Seacrets is the near vicinity of other wonderful Ocean City attractions. However, it is in an area that includes what another patron described as "a strip mall type setting of clubs". I understood what that individual meant once we showed our identification cards to get into the establishment, paid the $10 cover charge and went inside. Wow!!! It is quite the spacious venue that definitely consisted of multiple "club like" areas with different DJ's playing music in those areas so that people can move from one dancefloor to another. There was also a live band performing on a stage.....love live bands! Before dancing the night away, we ordered dinner. This is a seat yourself establishment and I asked a server to bring us some menus. Staff were so sweet and attentive! I sampled some french fries and they were tasty. I had some Crab Soup which was delicious, so much so that I gulped it down so quickly and forgot to take the picture-lol. As a matter of fact, I was having so much fun at Seacrets that I only remembered to take a picture of our "Pain In The Ass" Cocktail and Pina Colada (no liquor). Such fantastic and well prepared cocktails! Some of the DJ's played 80's, 90's and current music ( r+b, house, hip hop, pop and reggae) which had us on our feet dancing for most of the time....If you know me, you know that I absolutely love dancing-lol.
