I had the pleasure of eating at Seafood Kitchen on a couple of occasions and I have to say the food was excellent and the portions were very generous but most of all our waitress Liz was out of this world. She is definitely customer focused and really appears to enjoy serving her customers and making sure the orders are complete to satisfaction. Most of all I have to say I appreciated her sense of humor. The restaurant was extremely busy but she was still able to provide good service without appearing stressed. The customers that were seated all around us were talking very highly of Liz. You definitely have some regulars because of Liz and your good food. We will definitely be back! read more

Seafood Kitchen is the best seafood around!! We have been going there for years we have watched the restaurant grow it is my husband and my Friday night date night place !!! Found this place years ago. Every time we vacation on Amelia Island, it requires a 25 mile trip to Seafood Kitchen. All food is top notch, with low prices. If you want ambiance (which is not edible), you won't find it here. Love it read more

Pretty big let down. This place was highly recommended by friends so we had some out of town family visiting so I thought it would be a good local eat. Nope. Got there and was told we would have to wait about a half hour. That was fine because we had a party of 10, so I get that. An hour later we finally had a table. They could have sat us sooner but they kept seating parties of two at 4 seat tables... then we were told the oven wasn't working so some of the sides we wanted weren't available. That happens, I get that. Then they came back and said they were out of cheese grits.. so I suggested they just give us an appetizer in place of the cheese grits that two of us ordered. 5 minutes later they came back and said they were making cheese grits for us. Ok, that's fine. One of our party wanted shrimp and grits but they were told there were no cheese grits earlier so she just got okra, which nobody ate because it just didn't taste good. The blackened scallops I ordered came out fried instead of blackened and over cooked. 10 minutes later I got the blackened scallops, also over cooked. All in all, pretty disappointing. A couple of things I can overlook but I was expecting a lot more. We all left pretty disappointed. Can't say I'll be back. read more

Outstanding service and the food is out of this world good. A must go to place for food. We had a large group and the waitress took care of everything even remembering the drinks everyone had. I recommend this place for anyone who loves seafood and even the steak. read more

Food is usually good. Comes out fast and you always get a hefty portion for what you pay. Except last time I went here I made the mistake of sitting at a table who's sauce containers were surrounded by fruit flies but most other tables were full so I sucked it up and stayed at the table. I ordered the dinner portion of shrimp and crab cakes while my company ordered lunch portions of their meals. When the food come out I noticed one of my friends who orders the lunch portion of the same combo as me looked of similar size so I assumed maybe the server thought we all wanted lunch so no big deal. I still was full anyways. When the check came I realized I was still charged 5 dollars more for having the same amount of crab cakes, which was 1, and 3 less shrimp! I brought it to the servers attention who's response was well you had more seafood so you were charged more. I explained to her that in actuality I didn't I had less and she rolled her eyes and walked off. 5 minutes later she did come back and comp'd it to lunch price but the principal was the kitchen staff should have double checked how much was actually going into my plate. Who knows how many times I could have possibly been over priced. read more

My wife and I camped at Kathryn Hanna Park in Jacksonville the week of 06/15/2015. We ate at the Seafood restaurant earlier in the week after reading the positive reviews. The food was so good we returned a couple of days later. The restaurant is old but clean. I believe it has been there since 1985. The waitress told us the owner and his sons catch a lot of the fish and the special of the day will be whatever fresh fish they have caught. My wife had cobia both days we went. I had shrimp broiled, fried and stuffed, sides of cole slaw, sweet potato and hush puppies. The portions are generous and the prices very fair. You can order the lunch portions for dinner and save 4-5 bucks. The staff was attentive and friendly. Heather was our waitress the 2nd night. My favorite seafood restaurant in Orlando is High Tide Harry's on Semoran heading toward the airport. Seafood Kitchen reminds of that because of the food quality, portions, fair prices and staff... I have eaten there every time i have visited Jacksonville and it's one of my most favorite seafood restaurants to eat. Good food, great prices, plenty to share, especially on the seafood platter. No, it's not a swanky restaurant but you do not have to have "swank" to get good seafood. I've never had bad service. Its a home owned restaurant that's been in business about 30 years and if it wasn't any good, you can bet it would have been gone a long time ago. It's a great place to eat. Just don't expect cloth napkins if that's what you are used to. read more

I hope you like lemon pepper and sorry service , then this is the place to go.we had so old bag watitress that should have retired a decade ago. really bad attitude. then when we complained about the lemon pepper they just washed it off. boy that helped a lot. im sick today because I have a bad pancreas and the lemon pepper about has killed me then the crowd that came in after us was seated beside us and the 3 year old was shoved up against my chair by the sorry waitress and bumped me and jarred my chair the hole time I was trying to eat the washed flavorless , except lemmon pepper food we tried to eat. then when I called to talk to the manager this morn she lied and said they didn't wash off the food that it was fresh , then why did it still have lemon pepper on the bottom .I have been going there since the late 70s this was the worst time I have ever had at any resturaunt. do youself a favor , go to capt dees its awful to but at least you expect it to be. , tim read more
