I was thinking that because this location was new it would be busy but we were seated pretty quick and the host phat was very kind d and understanding he explained to us what it was and how everything worked. By the time our server Angela or Angelica came to take our order it was quick and out came our food within minutes of ordering she was great; because my son is diabetic and she is too she was able to understand relate and help my son pick foods that wouldn't spike his glucose levels something that I still struggle With . I will say though the soups were a little bland but Overall with the suace bar options I was able to Make it to my preference and the meat was pretty good especially the k-bbq. So much going on so much food plenty of dishes to choose from didn't know where to start honestly but once we got going it was going!! Extremely disappointed with our recent visit to Seapot. We went on a Friday afternoon around 2 PM. It wasn't busy--only a few tables were filled--but our server, Kevin, was incredibly slow and inattentive the entire time. We waited far too long for basic things like placing our order and getting the check. It felt like we were constantly trying to flag him down just to receive minimal service. At one point, after waiting too long for Kevin to take our next order, I had to get up and look for him--only to find him sitting down chatting with a coworker. Towards the end of our meal, Kevin disappeared for over 20 minutes. By then, we'd completely lost our appetite. We eventually had to ask the front desk for the bill since he never came back to check on us. For a place that promotes an "all-you-can-eat" experience, the slow service really defeats the purpose. If you eat pig ear, the spicy cold dish at the banchan station was packed with flavor. Korean BBQ meats were so so, with weak marinades. The first time I ended up with food poisoning and this time I find out the reason why is due to the food on the conveyor belt being raw!!! On the first visit I asked for sauces half way through my meal and she pointed at the sauce bar. How was I supposed to know there was a sauce bar if you didn't tell me? I ordered the lunch and hot pot combo and was unable to eat the hot pot due to it being cold. I did not notice there was button to turn it on so I ended up trying to eat cold soup. The second time I knew I had to get the sauce but I was still hoping somebody would explain the process to me. (Which is why I did not know the food on the belt was raw). I was also charged for the hot pot I did not eat. He recommended a broth and it was terrible so I told him I did not like it. I was not offered another option and I was charged for it. Great new place! The vibe is here! HUGE big screen TV playing sports and another TV playing Korean music videos. Decor is awesome! Lots of staff. Food is great! Conveyor belt for hot pot items is pretty cool. KBBQ choices were good too. You can make your own sauce to your taste! We tried the $37.99 hot pot and KBBQ combo and it is well worth it! I genuinely love this place so much and often come here. With that being said, the service of the waiters is never really good. I'd rate their service 2/5 stars. They do not check in often. They will not be easy to find if we do need any assistance. They don't come by to see if you need more water, need more napkins, need more broth, etc. We often have to ask for stuff multiple times because the waiters forget that we asked for forks or water 15 minutes ago. We often don't get everything that we ordered because I assume that they forget? Like it never comes, ever. The only time they'll come by is to ask if we're ready for another round and it won't be timed very well because we would have just gotten our meat or we have already been waiting for so long. I understand that they can be very busy but I don't believe that's a good excuse for consistent poor performance every time I come. There have been times where we are waiting for very long to find our waiter. The other waiters there are not very keen to help if you are not their table. I have tried to ask for their assistance before and they low key wrote us off because we also never got what we asked for from them. The waiters do have good attitude but it's not much if our table is constantly being neglected. If this place didn't have a conveyer belt stocked with food for the hotpot, I think I'd really dislike it very much. But I don't and I continue to frequent this place because I can still enjoy myself with what I grab from the conveyor belts. The main selling points for me from here are the sauces that I can customize by myself, the sides that I can get myself, and the conveyor belt that I can also get myself. Maybe it's because I actually get stuff done if I do it myself here haha. I think they can consider putting the meat out for us to also grab on our own and place a dedicated staff member there if it worries them that people are grabbing kbbq meat and not only hotpot meat if they aren't paying for it? Once you come here you'll probably be addicted. I feel like I come here once a week or once every two weeks. I love that everything is there when you want/need it. Servers are nice and gets what you need quickly. When you walk in it looks cute, they have a floral back drop. I like how seating is all booths so we can be comfortable. There was quite a long waitlist so if you can, you should reserve for reservations we waited about 30 to 45 minutes and was able to be seated along the side of the restaurant was a conveyor belt that pushed out vegetables and some seafood and noodles you are given an option for hot pot or grill barbecue Korean barbecue we chose both. There was a self-serve sauce for hot pot buffet area along with side dishes that you can also grab. Drinks were delicious. They have sort of cocktails that they serve the food. Getting our food was pretty quickly and the food was delicious. There is a dining time up to two hours limited so if you're there for a big party, I suggest you guys get there on time. read more

The cut of meat could have been better and their dessert fruit bar along with dipping sauce station was a nice addition. The seating tables are so long that it makes you feel like you're far away from making a conversation with the people you are with we came with four and it was awkward. We came here just for hotpot on a Saturday night. The whole table has to choose the same all you can eat dinner type. If you want kbbq and hotpot it is extra $5 per person. The food was okay and there was a variety of selection. Only the two people closest to the rotation food that comes out can get the food for the hotpot. It is not ideal for a big family to keep calling what to get and it gets very annoying. The sauce, appetizer and dessert self service has great selection. The food is just okay and the broth has enough seasoning. The customer service is great! I would not come back as the food is not worth the price. read more

Our server was great 5 stars for hotpot: Been here 3 times for hot pot and Seapot always has good broths, good selection of meats, and a lot of options on the conveyor belt. Sauce bar has plenty of options for your personalized taste. 1 star for KBBQ: I've never had KBBQ on an electric induction grill and I can say I will never want to do it again. The heat was weak, and we were essentially cooking our meats on 'low heat' even at the highest setting. We could not achieve the correct char on our meats and sat for a long time waiting for thicker meat selections to cook thoroughly. The bulgogi was not fresh and was subpar. TLDR: Will definitely come back many more times in the future for the hotpot, but never for KBBQ. read more

I have tried the SeaPot in the bay area, so I had pretty high expectations of this place. The inside is really appealing to the eye as it is similar to the SF location that I previously went to. There is a conveyor belt of certain sides that go around from table to table. They also have a self serve bar where you can get other sides and different sauces for your meats. The service is pretty good as the workers were really nice as they check on you pretty constantly. Overall, my experience here was really good, it just wasn't as good as my experience in the SF location. But, would definitely come back again! read more

I was do AYCE hot pot and I just pick my food for one round and they are not refill any food items and more. What is the meaning of that? I complained to my server and he said he tell the kitchen and now now is 10:09pm I still don't see any new dishes coming out. Another new KBbq & hotpot spot in town! The location is in a great spot, where the old Sizzler used to be. Plenty of parking with shops next door to visit while waiting for your table. The ambiance of the place is a pretty mid, as in not too loud but not intimate. The restaurant is pretty huge but tables are pretty spaced out, so I'm not sure how big parties with multiple tables would work. My group was made of three others and myself and we were sat on their large tables, which had one grill and six individual stoves for hotpot. There were lots of TVs at the bar, so it's a nice place to come and watch games. Unfortunately, they do not have a full bar, so they only sell beer, wine, soju (and maybe sake). The menu had a good amount of selection for both bbq and hotpot. Starting off with the hot pot: I got the Thai spicy, which is a Tom Yum base broth. It was okay, a bit watered down to begin with and then quickly lost its flavor as I added meats and veggies into it. I eventually just used the broth to cook noodles and veggies and just cooked meats on the grill. The meat selection for the hotpot was good; lots of choices for beef that were all good. The Berkshire pork was a bit tough to eat. Onto the bbq: Plenty of choices for bbq. The selection for beef was numerous, from short ribs, to belly and ribeye. There was also a good amount of pork belly choices, a few chicken and seafood selection. Favorite of the meats were definitely the wagyu finger ribs and the garlic pork belly; definitely a must order! There's a sauce bar that has lots of sauces as well as banchan (side dishes) such as kimchi, cucumber kimchi and radish. The sauce bar had lots to choose from, but the best was by far the Thai pepper. The Thai pepper sauce was like it was made by a Mien or Hmong person, so you can bet it was spicy but hit so well when you dipped meat in it. THIS PEPPER IS A MUST!!! The idea of the conveyor belt was cool and looked cool, but if you're sitting at the end of the belt, like I was, you would have to wait for so long to get what you want because people end up taking it before it gets to you. I waited patiently multiple times just to get enoki mushrooms and noodles. I was also hoping they would have spinach and cabbage. Maybe they did but maybe they just never reached me. And each item only had like one placed on the belt at a time. So the conveyor belt works only if you're not one of the last tables it reaches. Lastly, the service. The workers worked hard, from our waitress Lia, to the food runner and bussers. Lia was constantly checking up on us and was always changing out our grills. Overall, Seapot is a good place to enjoy kbbq and hotpot with its extensive menu. Definitely check out the place but make sure you make a reservation or put your name on the Yelp waiting list ahead of time, because it does get busy. read more

I REEEEEALLY dont get the hype of this place, especially for Korean BBQ. We came for BBQ only, no hotpot, and that was a whole ass mistake. There were FOUR of us, and the amount of meat they gave us? CRAAZY. You can order 3 proteins at a time, cool, but the quantity? Baby, they gave us the same tiny amount as the bowl you use to grab sides. Like, WHO ARE Y'ALL FEEDING here? If you order galbi, they give you one. ONE. That's it. By 7 going to 8PM, they apparently already ran out of bulgogi. Our server, Steven, seemed to have lived across town since it took him forever to come back and ask for more protein. It wasn't even busy, it was a stupid ass Tuesday, and we didn't even have to wait to sit. So what's his excuse?? Like, what was he doing? We ate what little they gave us in 2 seconds, and the grill was constantly changing because it was getting burnt before we could even get another round. This place is wild, do better with the damn quantities and service cause none of that shiii ain't it. I visited for the first time on MLK day. Wait was longer than expected, but not terrible. I had company to entertain me while we waited. We did the Korean barbecue and while my I try to manage expectations, having had food in Los Angeles in Koreatown, this came nowhere near. The variety of the sauces and the sides was very limited and the seasoning of the meat was barely there. Perhaps I should've tried the hot pot. She patiently explained to us how the dining process works. We will definitely return to dine here and we will request to be seated at the section where Chau will be our server. M-F Lunch is $21.99 per person for hotpot and if you also want to use the grill, it's $5.00 extra per person. If anyone at your table would like to get both, the entire party at your table needs to pay an extra $5.00 per person even if only one person wants the grill. There's a conveyor belt with small plates to take to put into your hotpot. - Vegetables such as bok choy, napa cabbage, broccoli, spinach, taro root, squash, etc.; - Seafood such as clams, mussels, shrimp, etc.; - Noodles such as udon and ramen, etc; - Fish balls, siu mai, lunch meat, tofu, potstickers, mushrooms, etc. Depending on the size of your party determines how many servings of meat per request.
