Very busy today, the day after Mother's Day. We were the youngest people in there, and we are 60 The menu is very nice, we had fish tacos/salad, and flatbread/salad, both were very good and large portions. The waiter had extreme perfume on, annoying, and two guacamoles on one fish, taco dish, the other got none. One of those had a hair in it. After wedding dress shopping at Anthropologie next door, we decided to stop in for a quick lunch. We weren't really certain what to expect but when we walked in, one person was walking out with a giant box of food (that looked like a florist's box for a few dozen roses) and another was at the reception desk saying they were picking one up. With folks ordering full party meals, we figured it was worth a try. The restaurant is quite pretty, with wood all around and lots of space between tables. We were seated in what seemed to be a back room with several booths, an internal delivery window, and wine racks. The lunch menu indicated that nothing on the menu is more than 595 calories so we expected modest sized meals. We all started with a wine flight (one opting for the reds and two for the mixed flights). The selections were all distinct and very drinkable. Our server was excellent, making suggestions and reading the table well - refilling water glasses promptly without us needing to ask, and giving us time to settle in before asking if we'd were ready to order. I picked the rainbow trout with broccolini and baby potatoes. The potatoes were bland, so really needed the delicious mustard sauce served on the side. My daughters shared a field green salad and roasted tomato flatbread, with roasted Brussels sprouts for the table. The fish was thinly sliced and the flat bread was of modest size - but everything was very good. We had room leftover so decided to all have a coffee and split two of the (quite) petite desserts which we selected from a table side display. (The desserts are 2-bite sized so I assume a "tasting menu approach is expected.) There was quick agreement about the peanut butter chocolate, but some debate whether to get the oatmeal cookie pie and the s'mores. Our coffee came in large mugs, and it was delicious (with refills). We finally placed our dessert order, and were really delighted that our waiter actually brought over the third - on him. All in all, this was an unexpectedly nice experience! read more

Service here is great. It is pretty in here, but we were sat at a table that definitely didn't fit the 8 of us sat. I felt cramped the entire night and like I had to strategically move my arms to reach for a drink or something on the table. The food here is good. We tried several flat breads, all of which were delicious (pepperoni, Philly cheesesteak, pesto chicken). I probably liked the pesto chicken the most! I then tried the ahi tuna tartare which was delicious! Tasted so fresh and honestly should've stopped there it was so filling! Other guests tried the Mac and cheese and crab cakes which they loved. For the entree, I got the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly and the sides were great. We also ordered the carrots which were delicious, the truffle risotto which is a MUST try and we each had some desserts. I don't think there is much value in the desserts but I will say the oatmeal cream pie cookie was so good, and I'm not even a huge oatmeal person! It just stood out! Examples: 1) no salad app forks, so when first course was cleared and entree arrived, no fork. 2) No bread plates. 3) Bathroom (ladies) smelled like urine and trash at sink was overflowing. 4) Finally, I prefer when the person who takes the order delivers it, avoiding the auctioning off of food (who's got the trout?) The atmosphere and service is always a tier one. The food does not disappoint. We started with the cheeseburger flat bread and the shrimp flatbread. Its well seasoned and came out hot. I had the rainbow trout which was light and cooked to perfection. It comes with broccolini and roasted potatoes. Only our second time here - the first being a few years ago which was great and this time was great yet again! We went here for a small celebration on a Tuesday night. Called to see if we would do need reservations and they said we wouldn't. Got there around 8:30ish and the place was not too packed at all. The ambiance is great with lots of comfortable seating. I ordered the butternut squash soup and the hubs had the cauliflower white cheddar soup - both were delicious. For the main course I ordered the cedar plank salmon - the same dish I had ordered the last time years ago because I remembered it was one the best salmon I had had! This time was no different! Very tender perfectly cooked. Came with potatoes and green beans all perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I like the half lemon that came with it, I like to squeeze it all over. And the Dijon sauce went great with everything. It was yummy! The hubs ordered the sea bass and he enjoyed it as well. For dessert they bring out this display of decadent desserts and described them. I didn't see a tiramisu and remembered having had that last time so asked for it and they brought it. The hubs had the peanut butter and chocolate dessert. We were quite full and satisfied! Went here last night with my wife for our wedding anniversary and had a amazing and fabulous time! Our table was decked out for our anniversary and our server bent over backwards to ensure that we had an amazing time. Fernando went above and beyond the call of duty! There was some sort of 'floater table coverage' communication issue. We eventually ordered. Loved the new artichoke flatbread. We also each had a lobster tail to get in some extra protein. We had the oatmeal cookie and raspberry desserts- and they came out with candles. The food was also excellent and the service was very good once we connected with a server. Four of us went to dinner there the other night we had the charcuterie board and the steak and cheese flatbread as an appetizer. The place was beautiful inside great ambience. The service was good and kept our reservation on time seated as promptly seats probably 3 to 400 people it's enormous inside had a comfortable booth of the appetizer was great. The stake on it was like if you ordered a steak from there, I got the salmon and my friend did as well. My girlfriend got scallops, which were great as well salmon was awesome and I can't remember the kind of chicken exactly that my friend's wife got but she liked it as well. I wouldn't love their entrées good portions definitely smaller on the sides but I think that's because everything is calorie counted there desserts as well as a single portion size. We all got one I got the oatmeal cookie, which was unbelievable. the cheesecake one was great as well Keylime pie and the chocolate peanut butter one were average at best. We have been going to the Seasons 52 restaurant since it opened as well as many others throughout the country for personal and business occasions. When you introduced the Black Lentil Bolognese, it was a hit! Recently the last three times we ordered it we had to send it back. This time the Halibut special as well. The Black Lentil Bolognese has been coming out cold or hard as a rock and the glued together. We have come to the conclusion that the Kitchen at the Chestnut Hill location needs to pay more attention to the pasta before serving. read more

When I lived in NY, I would visit the Seasons 52 location in Garden City often. Though there isn't one in Rhode Island, we travelled almost an hour to the nearest one in Chestnut Hill, MA. Seasons 52 is located in Chestnut Hill Square. In Chestnut Hill Square, there are other businesses like The Capital Grille, Sweetgreen, Wegmans, medical offices, Athleta, drybar, The Shade Store, and Equinox. There are plenty of parking spaces. It was very easy to make a table reservation through Seasons 52's website and we were seated quickly. The dining area is very similar to other Seasons 52 locations. We were presented with their spring menu; they always offer fresh ingredients and their items are usually less calories. We started with the pesto chicken and fresh mozzarella flatbread. All the flatbreads are great, but this one with balsamic cipollini onions, wood-grilled red peppers, and arugula is our favorite. The flatbread is flat, thin, crispy, and packed with flavors. I had the spinach and strawberry salad with a skewer of caramelized grilled sea scallops. The spinach and strawberry salad has spring strawberries, toasted almonds, Gorgonzola, and white balsamic. This is my favorite salad; all the components are so fresh. It had a little too much dressing for my taste, but it was still very good. I would just ask them to go a little lighter on the dressing next time. The caramelized grilled sea scallops was juicy, succulent, and cooked perfectly. My husband I had shared the Korean BBQ baby carrots that had gochujang chili paste, honey, ginger, and sesame seeds. This was the first time I had carrots with gochujang chili paste and it tasted delicious. The carrots were cut thin and flavored very well. My husband had the maui tuna crunch salad. It had seared handline tuna, organic greens, mango, almonds, wood-grilled red peppers, and toasted sesame dressing. He enjoyed it very much. Of course, we couldn't end the meal without a mini indulgence. I had the raspberry chocolate chip cannoli and he had the cookies 'n' cream. It was great as always. Lindsay was our server and she was working the bar as well. Service was wonderful. I had a wonderful experience at Seasons 52 and can't wait to come back. Went twice in two days. On my recent visit to Boston I was introduced to Seasons 52 and couldn't believe I was still in parochial old Beantown. This place has a special place in my heart cuz I often go here after an OB appointment ... just me and my babe inside of me. To be honest, this place isn't super unique, but it's very reliable. It's also really clean and has some great lunch specials, making it very affordable ... especially for lunch. The menu, in general, is pretty large, so there's definitely something for everyone. The menu also lists the calories, which for me is a plus ... and a negative. Like ... sometimes you want to know, and other times ... you don't. The past few times I've gone, I've gotten their hummus dish. I think it's seasonal, but it would be amazing as a permanent staple. The smoothness of the hummus and the grilled artichokes are just so yummy!!! I also really enjoy their flatbreads. Regarding the service, I do have to say that it can be a hit or a miss. When I'm by myself, it's great, but when I'm with another person, such as a friend or my boyfriend, it's often really slow and lacking attentiveness, which has been an issue for them, especially since they think that this restaurant fails to cater to a diverse demographic. Terrible experience- We were told that there was dining outside only. We accepted the Table and were told they were out of the selections we wanted and had to order other options. My drink appeared but it was so dark outside, no outdoor dining lights that I didn't notice the glass was chipped. I brought it to the attention of the waitress who replaced it. Our food came after 45 minutes and we did not have Curley or napkins to eat with. We asked 3 different waitstaff and waited an additional 5 minutes. My beloved Seasons 52- you will always be the place I come back to. I have never seen a restaurant be so consistent with such high quality food and service. This is my go to place for any occasion. Birthdays, graduations, holidays, dates, promotions-- you name it, I'm here. This is seriously the perfect place for everything. The staff here are highly courteous and make every visit so memorable. You'll notice that when you book a reservation, there's a lot of space to write down whether you're coming for a special occasion. Based on what you write they adequately help you celebrate. Added bonus, on birthdays, they give you a free flatbread coupon and offer a free dessert. Seasons 52 never fails to provide you with a great return on investment. The food is seriously so fresh and delicious. They are known for their flatbreads, so you always have to start off with one. We usually go for the Chicken Pesto or Pepperoni flatbread. For the main course, I highly recommend their lunch steak tacos. The steak is cooked medium on default but I always request well and they have no problem doing it. The prices here are decent, but seriously worth every penny. I visited this restaurant at least 10 times before writing this review. The food is always delicious, the service friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is pretty good too. WHY THE LOW GRADE? BECAUSE, you have got to figure out the reservations system. It is so incredibly disappointing and really frustrating! Not once have we been seated on time, not once. Every single time we had to stand around with a hundred other people for at least 30 minutes. WE took the time to reserve the table, and WE came on time. YOU however can't figure out your system of seating people on time. It really isn't as hard as you keep telling us (every time, as if it's our first time). Other restaurants figured it out. The service was quick and I thought it was so smart of them to bring out the dessert "menu" -- I put that in quotations because instead of handing us printed menus, they brought out a stand full of fake desserts so you can visually see what they have for dessert. In the end, 5 out of 6 of us ordered dessert and I'm convinced it's because everyone saw the fake models of what the options looked like! The dessert was delicious, and my meal was good too. They are always dressed impeccably, are articulate, extremely well-mannered, the very essence of professional. 5 of us went for a birthday lunch today - the server Annie U was wonderful throughout and the food was delicious!! From the caramelized sea scallops, to the shrimp & grits (sooo yummy!), to the perfectly grilled filet mignon, along with the refreshing & delightful watermelon salad, everything was excellent!! Okay, so this is probably more of a 3.5/4, but I really couldn't give it a 4 because of the price. While the lunch menu has some decently priced items, the full menu just feels incredibly expensive, especially considering that all items are under 595 calories (not just the calorie count, but a lot of the items seemed fairly small in order to hit that calorie count). Another thing that I noticed was the entree salads, while both on the lunch menu and the full menu, were priced the same, which seemed odd. I think if they had knocked a few dollars off of the entree salads for the lunch crowd, I may have given this a 4 instead. The actual items I ordered were the Naked Burger and the Raspberry Cannoli dessert Naked Burger ($14.50) - This may be on me, but I read the description of the Naked Burger (grass-fed beef, provolone cheese sauce, organic greens salad, white balsamic vinaigrette) and thought that "naked" meant something along the lines of "without lettuce, tomato, and onion." However, it actually means "without all of those things and without a bun." I say it may be on me because that's definitely something I misinterpreted, and should have figured especially with the 480 calorie count next to it. I did end up looking surprised when it came and the server offered to give me a bun for free, which was incredibly gracious of them, though the calories then increased I suppose. But the fact is that without the amazing server, this is a menu item priced a bit high/normalish for a nicer than normal burger, but it is only really the meat patty. I think the photo says it all - it came out and I was wondering where the rest of the meal was. It seemed like an appetizer portion if that. The taste itself wasn't bad - it was seasoned appropriately and very juicy, but it's hard for me to get past the price for the amount of food served. Raspberry Cannoli dessert ($3.50) - This is actually a very fair price for the dessert. It's moderately sized and the perfect sweet ending to a meal. The desserts come out on a spiral platter for you to see (plastic versions of the actual desserts), so it was a fun little experience to see all of the options and then pick the one I liked best. It wasn't anything outstanding as far as taste, but it was solid, especially for the price. One thing I do want to say is that the service here is very, very good. Our server came back multiple times to check on us, they gave us a booth when requested, and like I said above even gave a free bun for the burger when we asked. He was incredibly nice and didn't pressure us on the desserts, and it was a much higher level of service than I would have expected. The ambiance was fair as well - it was quiet enough to hold a conversation, but you could tell they were busy for lunch. Overall, 3.5/4. It's a nice place to meet a coworker or an old acquaintance for a catchup, but I don't think I will be craving any of the food (or prices) anytime soon. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at seasons 52. First, the waitress forgot to bring me my Prosecco after waiting 15 minutes. I finally flagged her down and she admitted to forgetting. Next, when the food finally came out, and it must've taken 30 minutes to arrive, it was lukewarm. I had ordered the scallops, asparagus and mashed potatoes. Still, I could not find the waitress, so I finally flagged down one of the hostesses. I asked her if it would take long to reheat the dish and without apologizing, she said no it won't take long. I waited another 10 minutes for the dish to be returned to me and it was not. I had to flag down the same hostess again and ask her where the dish was. By this time, my companion had finished 3/4 of her meal. She brought back the meal and it was only slightly warmer than when it was originally served. The waitress came back to ask how everything was after probably 50 minutes had passed. Far too late to check in with customers eating a meal. She was fairly quick to bring dessert. The real kicker was when she brought us our check and we put the credit card down to pay. She came back within two minutes to collect the money. I will think twice before I go back to this restaurant. The service was horrible. The food was lukewarm, and, there was no apology whatsoever from any of the staff people. read more
