I ordered the Vegan Samurai bowl back in September 2020 in the middle of a rough work day. I was delayed in picking it up and Seed Eatery insisted on re-making a fresh bowl for me. First, I can say that it was AMAZING in flavor! And second, I must thank them for their wonderful customer experience. It was certainly not my expectation that they would remake the meal because I couldn't pick it up on time. On our way home from the beach, my friend, mother, and I were trying to decide where to grab something quick to eat. We had heard about Seed Eatery as it has options for all types of dietary restrictions, which isn't very common around here. We were happily greeted by the owner, Dmitry. He was friendly & knowledgeable about the food and walked us through the ordering process. The food was very delicious and I can't recommend this place more! Huge portions (I saved half for dinner), great service, and even with COVID I couldn't have felt more safe in the establishment. I decided to make my own bowl with a base mixture of kale and the noodles. This is the most popular combination and it didn't disappoint. The noodles were tender and added a fun new texture to the bowl. I added sweet potato and the cauliflower. The cauliflower was cooked perfectly, it was flavorful and turmeric was a great addition. I was having difficulties deciding between the pesto chicken salad and the chipotle chicken. Dmitry was kind enough to let me sample the two. I went with the chipotle chicken as it has a real kick and was cooked perfectly. It was moist and added a great depth of flavor to the dish. Dmitry also recommended the garlic red pepper dressing. It was just the right balance of garlic and wasn't spicy which was a nice compliment to the chicken. We also grabbed a peanut butter cheese cake to spilt and after the first bite I instantly regretted not trying all three flavors. It was amazing!! You'd never know it was gluten free. I was excited to go here as we eat very healthy. First off if this a healthy place to eat they should post what's in everything as some people like myself have to watch there salt content. They do have the calorie count but I want to know what's in everything and not have to ask them every time. I don't think they have enough items to choose from and everything is spicy. Why does everything have to be spicy? It's fine to have a few spicy items but almost everything was spicy. The dressing were high in calories. They should also offer olive oil and balsamic vinegar as an option. I've been to other places like this and there is so much more to choose from at other places. Also, when I asked for a second dressing they charged me 1.00. Other places do not charge for a tiny little of dressing. I wasn't impressed at all and especially on their customer service and won't be going back. read more

My friend is vegan, so I wanted to find a place where she could order something other than a salad. I found SEED online and am I glad I did! The food was excellent! I've been to other vegan/vegetarian restaurants before, even though I'm neither, but they can't hold a candle to SEED. I had the brown rice, glass noodle, edamame, cauliflower, and hemp chicken salad in a small bowl and can recommend everything. If you want fresh food that tastes great, take a trip to SEED. My co-workers and I popped in today to check out Seed for the first time. The cafe is clean, funky and fun! The staff all had big smiles and were super friendly, and very patient with us "newbies" and took the time to explain everything. The food is AH-MAZING! Super fresh and delicious. The fusion of different types of cuisines and flavors is fun and super yummy! For me, the regular size bowl is two meals, had half for lunch and half for dinner. I don't cook, so this is perfect for me to get a super healthy, delicious meal. I'll be back for sure! read more

After recently being diagnosed with some digestive issues, I knew I had to start eating more veggies, beans, fiber, etc. I had read and heard about Seed Eatery and yesterday decided to give it a try. I made up my own bowl and it was seriously, DELICIOUS! The only thing I didn't get was the seeds. The flavorings they add to everything are spot on. So much so that I almost forgot to eat my wonderful chimichurri dressing. There is so much food that I ate half last night for my dinner and ate the rest today for lunch. I didn't think the price was to bad to start with, especially here at the beach. But the fact that I easily got two full meals for my $13.49 made it even sweeter. I am in the area to visit my parents who live about 30 minutes south of this restaurant where there really isn't any veg friendly or healthy restaurants. My mom had the spinach and potato bases, my dad got the veggie quinoa and potatoes as a base and I got the Japanese kale. They also had a base of arugula, two different rices, and one or two others. The proteins were half vegan, half non-veg my father and mother both got the chicken and I got the furikake tofu. They had shrimp, chicken and steak for the non-veg options. The vegetables were a good variety of cauliflower, broccoli, chickpeas, Brussels sprouts, beets, carrots, and Thai radishes and I believe one or two others which were some of the mains and some of the proteins. We were able to pick our dressings I chose the vinaigrette as did my mother she says it was too vinegary but she also poured it on without tasting it first. I also got the pumpkin seed add on. My mother got a bottled water and it came to about $50 with my father paying a tip. Each bowl was $14 as a normal bowl, you could get the premium bowl as well for extra. They had 3 different flavored vegan cheesecakes for $8.50 and a peanut desert. They also had a few varieties of kombucha in their grab and go area with pre-made smoothies. We didn't try these as the bowl filled me up. The only real cons are that the booths were hard for my mother to get into and out of as well as the fact that there isn't much parking. The lot is shared between 2 buildings as well as people using the parking lot as an extra entry for the WAWA, in the off season it's pretty easy to get into but I am not sure if there is enough parking for the summer season. read more
