Celebrated my Goddaughter's 7th bday. This was where she wanted to go. We were greeted in a friendly manner and the host instantly engaged all three kids. Seated right away. The decor catches your eye. Really good spot for kids. Waitress was friendly and got our order right away. I also loved that she introduced her covering waiter when she had to take a break. I watched her take him to each of her tables. Now the food. The kids all shared the birthday sundae and they loved it. It was huge!! The food was ok. My blacked chicken was very rubbery. If you go, go for the experience, not the food.

3.5 stars. Requested booth seating weeks ahead in our booking form to celebrate my son's birthday but still were assigned to a standard table even though we saw several open booth seats. We were given booth seats after specifically asking for it when we were in the dining area. Waiter is enthusiastic and friendly. Food is really average at best. Had to get the giant desserts since we wanted the birthday song to be sung during dessert presentation, but it was soooo sweet that even the kids could barely finish half. The dining area is colorful. Kids probably will like this restaurant more than older teens or adults,

A must-go anytime you're in NYC!!! The food is delicious!! The atmosphere of the place is sooo cute perfect to go with your girls when you're all dressed up! The customer service is what MAKES THIS PLACE!! Our server Jeff was so full of energy even at closing time. Definitely recommend the smores frozen hot chocolate and salmon because it comes with the best lemon sauce!! I got the sliders, a little dry however it was delicious and filling.

I planned on dining at Serendipity during my NY trip so it was serendipitous that Serendipity 3 was right next door to my hotel. LOL!!! This place is huge with a huge menu to match. There are "regular" items, but they also have some very fun and interesting dishes, including a Guinness World Record section on the menu. This section includes a $1000 sundae, $214 grilled cheese sandwich, $100 milkshake, World's Most Expensive Fries at $200, etc. I did not order from this section and instead ordered the Classic Footlong Hotdog, Classic Wedge Salad, Sunday Chicken Dinner, Not Yo' Ordinary Nachos, Mac & Cheese, Thai Peanut Salad, and of course their famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. The food in general is good. Not great, not bad, but solidly on the middle ground. Of all the dishes, the Not Yo' Ordinary Nachos was the most disappointing. I agree that it was not ordinary in that it had less than ordinary nachos. REALLY disappointing. All the other dishes I ordered were good, but not anything that really stands out. A lot of the dishes have fun names and are a bit gimmick-y, but it goes along with the restaurant's theme. The restaurant is brightly lit, decorated with every color possible, plenty of unique artwork, whimsical, and just plain fun. For example, the Sunday Chicken Dinner came in an huge sundae glass, with everything piled together, in that one cup. The presentation was fun, but it was difficult and very messy to eat. The portions are good, but the prices are high. The male at the hostess stand was not friendly at all and rather arrogant, but my servers were all great. I would recommend this place for the novelty of it and it would be a fun place for a family with kids.

What a unique and fun dessert place! It also serves meals and appetizers for those who want savory food. This was a convenient place and location for a snack after a Broadway show. I gathered here to reunite with some old friends. The ice cream sundaes are HUGE. The sundaes taste how they are advertised, so you can't go wrong with whichever one you choose and like. They are probably known for their dessert menu. We also got the Ferris wheel of appetizers, which were delicious, unique, and picture worthy. The slight con is that the Ferris wheel doesn't move. The ambience is very colorful and highlighter - bright. The service was good. They filled our waters and let us know that the very expensive items on the menu have to be reserved in advance, so they can order the expensive ingredients. This is definitely a fun place to try at least once. Great for sharing and good for kids.

Kinda run down, WAY OVERPRICED and lackluster quality. $20 for a frozen hot chocolate with no taste and a mountain of whipped cream. Kids tenders were tiny, tasted like old fish grease. Onion rings were the saving grace. Server was really nice.

This is such a fun spot but very pricey. Would recommend for a special occasion or when visiting the area. We had burgers and a chicken sandwich and they all were good. The hot chocolates and sundaes are large enough to share. Our server was great. There was a little wait when we first arrived but there's a fun seating area for waiting.

Always wanted to try serendipity and finally made it to the one on time square. Much smaller and not as pretty as the original one. There was a wait of about 15mins at 8:30pm. We got seated on a small 2 seater booth, very cute. It was a late night so we had a light snack. Mac and cheese was delicious and the mocktail is also very good. When we leave there was still a line outside.

Ambiance was so fun and electric!!! Perfect place to take the kids when in NY. The frozen hot chocolate is a must have! So delicious and definitely recommended, the service was great and attentive. Food was okay.

This is on my NYC list of must visit whenever I go there. We are enjoying the frozen hot chocolate on this visit and as you can see... The menu is absolutely hilarious, check it out for a giggle or two. The atmosphere is exactly what an ice cream parlor should look like. Definitely add it to your list when you next visit NYC!

Came to Serendipity 3 purely for the nostalgia -- my friend and I had to check off the bucket-list spot from the movie Serendipity (the one with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale). Mission accomplished on that front: the place is every bit as quirky, colorful, and over-the-top cute as you'd hope. Tiffany lamps, random knick-knacks everywhere, pure rom-com energy. We split the famous Frozen Hot Chocolate because... when in Rome, right? Honestly, it was a letdown. Tasted like someone dumped an entire shaker of cinnamon into chocolate syrup and called it a day. Overwhelming spice, oddly gritty texture, and way too sweet even for dessert lovers. At $20+ for basically a fancy milkshake we didn't finish, it felt like we paid for the photo op more than the drink. If you're here for the vibe, the people-watching, and the "I did it for the movie" selfie, it's worth a visit once. Just maybe order something else (or skip the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate altogether). Cute spot, iconic for a reason, but the signature item was a hard pass for us.

Serendipity 3 is so much fun! The service, fun decor, creatively named dishes, and delicious treats brought a smile to our faces. I treated a couple of my students to an afternoon treat after a morning of shopping recently. We shared truffle parmesan fries, they shared the Blueberry Deluxe Waffle Sundae, and I had the Mint Frozen Hot Chocolate. Yum! Kae took care of us, and we had a great time.

Not as cute as the original, but it's in Times Square, so as expected. Still. Super delicious. Insanely huge portions and a taste and dessert that you can't get elsewhere. We didn't bother with the food. Just frozen hot chocolate is why you come. Our server was great. Hosts were fast. All around a fun experience

Warm, cozy, and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that made it easy to settle in and linger over the meal. Appetizers We started with a cheese flatbread, boat-shaped and blistered at the edges, the interior molten and gooey with a bright basil leaf on top. Simple but done really well, crisp crust giving way to all that warm cheese. Mains The brunch dishes were the highlight. A sizzling skillet of eggs cooked over spiced sausage came out rich and savory, the yolks just set, perfect for scooping up with the basket of warm bread on the side. The tomato-based baked eggs were equally good, a deep, well-seasoned sauce with a little heat and fresh herbs on top. Comforting, generous, and full of flavor. Drinks The blackberry mocktail was a standout, refreshing and beautifully garnished with a cluster of fresh blackberries. Always great to see a thoughtful non-alcoholic option that feels like more than an afterthought. Service Attentive and warm throughout. The team kept everything moving smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Verdict Five stars. Delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and a mocktail worth ordering on its own. A fantastic UWS brunch spot that I'd happily return to.

I love their branzino though I wish the potatoes that came with it were more flavorful and crispier. The muhammura is epic. We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

The shepherd's pie is insanely salty and it's very off-putting. It was inedible. I was looking forward to having it but I would not in good faith recommend this to anyone. The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. It came with a little side of rustic chips. I would not come back for the food but I would possibly go back to try a drink if I was in the area. The drink menu looked pretty good.
