Wow!! Ordered 3 drinks among friends to share and we loved all of them, which is rare. Usually there's one obvious favorite. We had default settings for all drinks: Matcha cream top: amazing matcha flavor and right amount of sweetness Mango sticky rice cream tea: refreshing Sweet corn: love the corn and coffee taste together Definitely coming back.
Best in Beverly Hills. This has become my weekly sweet treat because I literally think of it as a reward. I am obsessed with their coffee. The Peanut Cream Latte is my FAVORITE latte I have ever tried (& I have tried very many lol). It is so unique & creamy, with an earthy/nutty taste from the in-house peanut syrup they make. The workers really accommodate the customers which is so appreciated. If you ask for light cream, they'll do that. If you ask for less sweetness, they'll do it. They always perform every time I ask for something. The Honeycomb toffee latte is also so freaking DELICIOUS. I highly recommend ittt, but just know it's very sweet. The topping they put on top is made in-house as well. The matcha is very good. Not the best in LA, but still very good.
Came here with a friend to try it out for the first time. This location is in a plaza with extremely limited parking with a TIME LIMIT and you WILL get ticketed!! There's metered street parking nearby which is also limited unfortunately. Seating is exclusively indoor, limited, and since people like to sit around w/ laptops here, more limited. Service is quick and polite. Strawberry matcha latte 3/5, this was just okay, neither a prominent strawberry flavor nor a prominent matcha flavor and somehow not a good blend between the two. I had hopes I came in on an off day but alas! Mango Sticky Rice Matcha 2/5, a dream of matcha omg my friend got this there wasn't even a HINT of matcha in this it was laughable
Series A Coffee is a solid addition to the local coffee scene with a minimalist, inviting space that's great for catching up with friends or getting a little work done. I went with the strawberry matcha, and it was one of the better versions I've had--the matcha was smooth and earthy, while the strawberry added a fresh, natural sweetness that complemented rather than overpowered it. I also appreciated that the drink wasn't overly sweet, letting the quality of the matcha shine through. The staff was welcoming, and my drink came out quickly with a presentation that was just as photogenic as it was delicious. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, but the strawberry matcha is an easy recommendation for a first visit.
I love this place, it has always great matcha and coffee. The double matcha is pretty strong and great quality. The pistachio cream latte was spectacular! Didn't have anything I didn't like. It has a lot of space for sitting and doing laptop work, usually you can find place to sit. Parking is also very easy, 1 hour free. Only minus is the ambience sometimes, which you can expect due to the location. Otherwise great place and love coming here!
Space was cute, line out the door almost the entire time I was coworking there. Got to the café just after 9am, and stood in line for about 10 minutes. Scored a corner table and hung around for a little over 2 hours. The Sweet Corn beverage was really delicious, and the Pear Matcha was smooth and had a pleasant, soft flavor. I got to try the ham and cheese croissant as well as the everything cream cheese croissant, both top notch options. (Do bring floss, though! So many seeds!)
Cool coffee shop with nice vibes. The design is contemporary and the crowd is hip. The customer service was very welcoming. I was recommended an iced pear matcha latte and it was very delicious. They use pear purée to sweeten the matcha and to give it that pear flavor. The drink was very smooth, balanced and refreshing. Great spot and I'll be back for more!
I never make it to this side of LA without complaining and thinking "this better be worth it" and dangggg unfortunately must report that this WAS worth it and I'll have to brave the drive and the traffic again I fear ALSO these drinks are $8 and I still find myself wanting to come back?? In this economy?? The honeycomb toffee was really just THAT good wow Honeycomb toffee ($8)-- MY LOVEEEE what a perfect cup no complaints. The espresso is good, milk ratio perfect, but the star is the dalgona cookie crumbles on top!! As is, it's fun to eat and it's good texture and sweetness. Leave some in the drink and it'll melt (it's just sugar) and it'll sweeten your latte if that's what you like. I had a half n half situation where I ate some and left the rest to melt. Blueberry matcha ($8.50)-- Props for making the blueberry jam as opposed to some store bought syrup or jam. You definitely get the pulp/pieces up the straw. Matcha was a bit too grassy bitter for me and there wasn't enough blueberry flavor once it's mixed. It just kind of all dilutes into a milky-ish something. Wouldn't get again. Matcha latte ($7.50) -- Grassy bitter, not my favorite. Thank god it wasn't the one I ordered. Overall matcha is a miss for me. The added simple syrup was free though which is nice. If we all happened to order coffee drinks I think this would've been a 5 star review but unfortunately the 2 matchas really weighing it down. My sheer love for that honeycomb toffee perfection is probably why it's rated 4 and not 3 but yeah... stay clear of matcha and just go for espresso!! I will say it's nice that additional syrups and milk substitutes are free here! Very unexpected for Beverly Hills. Also a free parking lot as well? Lots of good going on so definitely will be back for another espresso drink if not the same honeycomb toffee!!
3-1/2 stars (bump up for well-curated coffee selection) Series A has blown up on social media, and the lines (even on a weekday morning) reflected that! All the same, the line moved relatively quickly, and I got my drinks super fast: I opted for the sweet corn latte and mango sticky rice cream top. Sweet corn latte had a tasty coffee base, but I wasn't getting any sweet corn flavor. Mango sticky rice cream top was a miss: I'd expected it to have more green tea flavor (with mango flavor mixed in), but it was more like drinking mango juice with the faintest hint of cream top: for a hefty $8, the mango sticky rice cream top wasn't anything special, and I would give this a pass. I appreciate that Series A has such innovative and beautifully-designed cream tops (along with your standard matcha and black sesame ones), but execution could be a bit better on taste. I'll have to go back and try some other drinks on the menu!
This was a cute and busy coffee shop in a spacious plaza with ample parking. I was pleased with the variety of flavors on the menu. I wanted to try one of their other lattes but they were out of something so I opted for the corn latte because it's such a unique flavor for coffee! Overall the drink was okay but nothing that I would reach for again. The workers were very nice and the shop itself was big and had a good amount of seating.
visited series A on a sunday morning right before 12 and the line was out the door! luckily, only waited about 10 minutes and the drinks came out quickly! i ordered a matcha latte with oat milk + agave, and the sweetness was the perfect balance for me. i love that they don't charge extra for syrups and alternative milks. as a sweet treat, we also ordered a rugelach, which was also delicious! definitely worth the wait! there was plenty of seating even if it was busy since most people grab their drinks and head out. great environment & ambiance and love that they have free wifi!
My friend recommended Series A for a neighborhood matcha, and I was intrigued by the photos of the "Malgona" on Yelp. I love Dalgona coffee, so I was stoked to try a matcha version. The friendly cashier told me that although the Malgona was no longer on the menu, he could offer me the green matcha cream top drink with honeycomb on the side for an extra charge. But the barista got confused and only made our regular drinks, and after I tried to explain what the cashier had told me, she ultimately gave a side of the honeycomb. The green matcha cream top was super good, both with and without the Dalgona. I'd love to try the black matcha cream top next time. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend the sweet potato cream top latte because there wasn't much sweet potato flavor. read more

Ok I came here for two reasons: 1. Because TikTok kept putting this place on my fyp, 2. It's up the street from my office, so why not. First time, I walked up alone and decided to try the black sesame latte. Don't get me wrong, it was good, BUT, the way people were hyping up on TikTok, I thought i was going to have a sip and faint over how good it is. That wasn't the case. It was like a good latte. But nothing mind blowing. It was prettier than it tasted. Price: $7.50 Then I decided to go back with my co workers and try the green matcha cream top, which is what they're known for. And okay, this I get the hype for. It was very good. And I've had matcha in Japan (ew not to sound braggy but you know what I mean). The matcha was smooth and not bitter and the cream top just perfect. Price: $8.50 The place itself is nice and clean and somewhat busy. The people at the register have been nice both times but both times the people making and handing the drinks haven't been the friendliest when you ask something. Maybe they're tired and overwhelmed. I will be going back to try the other flavors. read more
I was surprised by how much I like the black matcha. Compared to regular matcha, the black matcha is deeper and bolder with an almost roasted flavor kind of like a roasted oolong. Thought this drink can get pretty addictive. Also love the mushroom spinach pastry, it was absolutely delicious, honestly one of the best pastries I had. It was savory with the mushroom, cheese and spinach and the crust was super flaky and soft, super addicting and would love to try this again. read more

Figured i would grab some matcha on the way home and order off the special menu. I tried the matcha cream top and it was delicious. not overly sweet but double matcha taste. Even though the line was out the door it moves really fast and parking is free. read more
Series A Coffee might just be my new obsession. got to try their black matcha cream top which was sourced from jeju! my first time hearing about it & it instantly became my favorite out of everything we tried. their matcha cream top was earthy, slightly bitter & perfectly balanced with the cream. their purple sweet potato latte despite being cold, warmed my soul. we also went for the banana milk latte with that viral crushed tonic collagen which was super creamy & honestly felt like a healthy treat in disguise. of course, corn latte is a must so we got that too! they offer a great selection of pastries, which I highly recommend and are definitely worth not skipping. overall, Series A Coffee offers something different from your typical coffee shop menu. if you're into trying new, thoughtfully crafted drinks in a relaxed setting, this is a spot you should visit. read more

i've heard such good things about this place and i'm so glad i got to try!! came to do work here and their parking lot is free for one hour which is AMAZING. someone also mentioned that there is street parking for 2 hours free! matcha cream top: 4.5/5 - their oat milk doesn't cost any extra which i love. the matcha flavor together with the cream top was the perfect amount of sweetness for me. came on a wednesday at 2pm and everyone at the cafe including the workers were sooo sweet. greetings and genuine smiles all around. the guy next to me high-fived me bc we got so much work done. i secured a spot right at the window with the perfect natural lighting which is ideal for me to lock into work!! they have a decent amount of seating inside and it's such a cute spot. i'm definitely coming back here to work. read more

Small line on a sunday afternoon but moved quickly. We got the green matcha cream top and sweet toasted grain. Green matcha cream top (4.5/5): The matcha latte and cream top were rich in flavor and color. I wish the cream top was thicker in consistency so it didn't sink so quickly into the latte. Also wish they gave more cream top! Sweet roasted grain (3.5/5): Latte itself was too sweet but the cream top was great. Once you mix everything together, there's roasted grain flavor almost completely disappears though :( Cute interior with inside seating. Service was great and drinks came out quickly. read more

The staff was super friendly. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy your drink and food. There is a little bit of parking spots but only for one hour. I would recommend mixing your drink with a stirring stick as the blueberry puree did get stuck to the bottom of the drink and had to be mixed for the flavor to get into the rest of the drink. read more

I had this place saved on Yelp for a while, and I'm so glad I finally got to try it. Drinks: I ordered the black sesame and the sweet roasted grain (misugaru). I've always loved black sesame, but having it infused in coffee was new to me and I loved it! The charcoal cream top was sweet and lovely. Just be careful when swallowing the little bits of crushed black sesame. My barista recommended the misugaru, which had a unique, mild earthy and nutty flavor that I also enjoyed. Came here recently and this place is POPULAR. The line was super long and wrapped around the door. Service was fast, even with how busy it was. Parking was a plus since they have a free parking lot, which is always a win in LA. That said, spaces are limited when it's busy, so just be prepared to circle a bit during peak hours. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice Cream Tea, Honeycomb Toffee (Dalgona), Black Sesame, and the Matcha Cream Top, and every single one was DELICIOUS. Not overly sweet (which I really appreciate), super creamy, and well-balanced. The black sesame completely stole the show for me. It's officially my new favorite black sesame drink in LA. The flavor really comes through without the coffee overpowering it, but you can still taste the coffee. Prices are pretty typical for LA, but honestly, I think it's worth it for the quality and flavors. The shop itself is super cute with a few seats inside. Great for a quick hangout or catch-up spot. 100% coming back (especially for that black sesame). Definitely worth the hype! read more

Very good coffee in unique flavors! The taste is as vibrant as the colors of the drinks. Yelp pics don't lie. There is a parking lot right outside, but limited. Some seating indoors and wifi is available. I tried the Goguma (sweet potato) latte and the Black Sesame Latte. Both were delicious - very creamy, tasted just like the title said they would, and still had a presence of coffee flavor in the drinks. The crunchies on top of the black sesame drink was a great addition too. Could stop by without grabbing a rice krispie from Loaf Language which they have stocked here from time to time. This place is dangerous for me as it's by my workplace. I went searching for a new coffee spot when my office moved to Wilshire was excited to check out this place - this was before it blew up on social media. Strawberry matcha - the first drink I had and it was ok. I thought it would be better as it's one of their top drinks but their other ones are better. Choose something else. Honeycomb toffee (dalgona) - love the honeycomb bits. It adds a little bit of sweetness but not too much to overpower the coffee. Also one of my go-to. Sweet corn - SO GOOD. When I first saw this, I was skeptical because of the corn but all my coworkers said it was good so I had to try it and it was amazing. The corn adds the sweetness that it needs and it just pairs well with the coffee. Must try! I sometimes just CRAVE a sweet corn. Green matcha cream top - One of my favorite matcha cream tops! With so many places with their own version, I actually really like this one. The cream top is salted but I love it. I can taste the top quality of the matcha (bitter and how I like it), creamy and it's not too sweet. Black matcha cream top - not my favorite. I would think it would retain the matcha flavor but more roasted, like hojicha would but it's not. I would choose green matcha all day. Ham and cheese croissant - actually has a decent amount of ham and cheese. It does not skimp and most places is more bread and just a bit of ham and cheese. Great starter for my morning. I like the unique drinks they have like sweet corn and dalgona that you don't see too often in other cafes. They even have a sweet potato and peanut cream. Would love to try those when I get a chance. Staff are always friendly and quick even when busy. Lots more people because of social media so seating may be limited. Lots of people hang around and do work or chat. They have a shared lot with other businesses but I just walk over from my office. read more
Overall, a good place. The only feedback I have is that sometimes staff is too talkative, to where it feels they're taking too long to make orders. But the pistachio and almost croissants are soo good. The coffees are great and at least the staff is friendly. read more

I saw the Mango Sticky Rice Cream Tea on the menu and I had to try it! It was a good mix of milky and fruity flavors so if you like that combination, you have to give this a try. I will say it's more on the sweet side, so if you're don't like your tea as sweet, definitely make adjustments. I got my drink pretty quickly as the staff had a whole assembly line for making the drink. The prices are a little high, but it's definitely worth the try. The cafe itself has plenty of seating where everyone was either chatting or working. I'll definitely have to come back to try their other drinks! read more

Finally tried series A! This has been on my list of LA matcha spots to try for a while. I went around opening time. They do have a parking lot and if you go early there's plenty of parking available. I tried their matcha cream top and it was amazing. I'd give it a 9/10. It was $8.50 but the cup size is pretty generous considering a lot of matcha spots provide smaller cups for a similar price. Staff was friendly and the drink came out quickly. Will definitely be back! read more
I got the goguma (sweet potato) latte here for $7.5, and wow it's so good. There's a layer of sweet cream at the top, and a layer of sweet potato puree at the bottom, and it's so so good. There's 1 hour free parking in a lot outside, and the cafe is clean and well lit and good for working read more
Green Matcha Cream Top- this was absolutely incredible! Made with ceremonial-grade single estate matcha with organic milk, vanilla, and cream top. The matcha flavor was so rich and authentic - you could definitely taste the quality of the ceremonial-grade matcha. The cream top added this perfect smooth texture that balanced out the earthy matcha beautifully. The vanilla was subtle but really enhanced the overall flavor without overpowering the matcha. Black Matcha Cream Top- made with sweetened organic black matcha from Jeju island with organic milk and cream top. This was such a unique twist! The black matcha had this amazing roasted flavor that was completely different from regular matcha. It was naturally sweeter and had this deep, complex taste. The cream top made it so smooth and creamy. Sweet Corn- sweet corn purée with espresso, milk, and topped with a cream top and crunchy corn kernels. This sounds weird but it was so good! The sweet corn purée created this amazing creamy sweetness that paired surprisingly well with the espresso. The crunchy corn kernels on top added great texture and really made you taste the corn flavor. Such a creative and delicious combination. Peanut Cream- espresso, milk, topped with salted peanut cream top, crushed peanuts, and chocolate. This was like drinking a liquid peanut butter cup! The salted peanut cream was rich and nutty, and the crushed peanuts added perfect crunch. The chocolate element tied everything together beautifully. Honeycomb Toffee (Dalgona)- espresso, milk, and house made honeycomb toffee. The honeycomb toffee was so good and you could tell it was made in-house. It had this amazing caramelized sweetness that complemented the espresso perfectly. The texture was incredible too. Caprese Danish- this was flaky and buttery with fresh ingredients that made it feel light yet satisfying. The combination of flavors worked really well together. Nutella Croissant- filled with Nutella inside. The croissant was so buttery and flaky, and they were generous with the Nutella filling. Every bite had that perfect chocolate-hazelnut flavor. Every drink was so good - I loved their matcha and sweet corn the most! The quality of ingredients really showed in every sip, and I appreciated how creative and unique their flavor combinations were. Can't wait to come back to try their mango with sticky rice drink! I've been seeing this place all over social media so wanted to check it out. Series A was busy, with a line at all times, though it moved quickly. Tried the mango sticky rice and dalgona latte, both were delicious. There's cute seating available - some people were working on laptops, but the music was a bit loud. I've had my eye on Series A for a while and finally got to try it. This is a fun coffee spot that's good to catch up with friends since there's a good amount of seating. The drink options are innovative. I tried their PSL. Very well balanced it was sweet, yet not overly sweet. Coffee quality was good. Almond croissant was good, but nothing memorable. My friend liked their matcha and savory pesto croissant. I'd return to try their other fun drinks. read more
Staff if very kind, drinks are aesthetically well presented, but the flavor and make of the drink just isn't it, especially for the prices. Given the crowd at this place, people don't know what they're drinking and just come to take pictures for the gram. I ordered the black sesame which has black sesame, espresso, milk, charcoal cream and crispy quinoa puffs. All you really get out of this is a cream heavy black sesame smoothie. There's virtually no point in the espresso because you can't taste it at all. And the quinoa puffs just get lost on the top so they become soggy and melt into the drink. Stopped by for a sit down and a great coffee. We enjoyed coming here as the staff is great and super welcoming. You get an hour in the lot as a customer which is enough time to enjoy one of their phenomenal coffees. The shop itself is super cute and the drinks are great. I got the Dalgona latte which wasnt to sweet (at the start) but got sweeter as I kept drinking it. My friend got the sweet corn latte which he noted was pretty rich and filling but also super yummy. This is my favorite coffee shop. I have tried all of their drinks except the dalgona and the sweet roasted grain lattes. None of them have disappointed me and they have all been fantastic. You can't go wrong with any of their drinks. However, if I had to pick a favorite, I would choose the green matcha cream top. The matcha is really strong and nutty and the matcha cream top takes it to another level. A close second favorite of mine would be between the sweet corn and the sweet potato. They are both so unique and not too sweet in the best way. Service here is always really friendly and drinks come out quickly. It's usually pretty busy, but there are always a couple available seats by the door. read more
If you're in the area, whether to visit LACMA or La Brea Tar Pits, you should definitely come to this spot! They have a great variety of drinks and pastries to start or end your day with. We got to try a few of their drinks: Matcha Cream Top Latte Black Matcha Cream Top Latte Misugaru Latte Sweet Corn Latte Dalgona Latte My fave is actually the Misugaru Latte, and the Sweet Corn Latte. I enjoyed the other drinks as well and I think if you're adventurous , you must try their unique blends. The staff were nice and polite. Seating is kinda limited, some booth seats, and tables but those get filled quickly. Parking is free but it does get filled even on a weekday during the day. read more

I stopped in on a Sunday morning, the place was fairly busy, but the wait wasn't too long. There's a good amount of seats and you can enjoy your order there or take it to go. Easy going, laid back atmosphere. I ordered a sweet corn latte and a guava croissant. The sweet corn is the right amount of sweetness and the dehydrated kernels provide a fun crunchy texture to the drink. The corn puree does get a little lost in the flavor of the espresso, but a fun coffee drink none the less! The glazed guava croissant still has a crunch and light exterior after reheating filled with a generous amount of guava cream. I really enjoyed this pastry and would order it again anytime. ICED MATCHA 9.5/10: I am a big matcha girly and I have tried so many places in the LA area and Series A is one of my top contenders. The cold foam is perfectly sweetened, and the matcha has such a nice smooth finish. Definitely recommend trying this one out! I've been to Series A several times now because I genuinely love their drinks! It's not too far from my job, so I never mind taking a little drive up Wilshire Blvd to grab a pick-me-up. This time, I went early on a Tuesday around 8 AM, and it was the perfect time to visit, the café was calm, not crowded, and I was able to take some photos of the pastries and the seating area. They had all their savory and sweet pastries out and everything looked so fresh. Usually, if you come in the afternoon, it's a completely different scene because the parking lot fills up fast and there's often a line out the door. This place is definitely popular, and I can see why... I keep coming back myself for the drinks! As soon as you walk in, you'll notice the cozy, creative vibe. Most days, it's packed with people working on laptops or doing homework, and it's clear this is a favorite for both the work crowd and coffee lovers. The small space is used well with cute furniture and cozy seating, including a tucked-away section in the back that adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Customer service is always great, but especially when Val is at the register- super outgoing, friendly, and full of great drink recommendations. I took her suggestion for the Peanut Cream Latte, and it did not disappoint! Here's what I've tried so far: *Peanut Cream Latte - (5/5): Sweet, nutty, and perfectly balanced -- if you love peanut butter or Reese's, you'll love this. *Strawberry Matcha - (4/5): Refreshing with a fruity twist. *Blueberry Matcha - (4.5/5): My new favorite! Smooth, slightly sweet, and the blueberry flavor complements the Matcha beautifully. *Pear Matcha - (3.5/5): Subtle but pleasant. I was visiting my bestie in LA earlier this month and she took me to Series A one morning and it was lovely! She said it's one of her favorite coffee/tea shops to take friends to because they have so many unique drink mixes/flavor combinations. This is apparently a very popular place. First time here to order their matcha. It was just ok to me. Kind of busy and waited a little bit to order and receive drinks but worth the wait. Very quaint with a variety of seating options . Quite a few people on their computers and quite a few people standing around waiting for their orders. Parking might be a little busy as the lot is somewhat small and is shared by several other businesses. Worth a try if you want to get a taste for different matchas. read more

Stopped by here to try the mango sticky rice tea drink. Absolutely loved that it has a parking lot at an area of LA that generally would be hard to park otherwise. The mango sticky rice is so worth the visit here. I can't speak for any of the other drinks but this tea tasted exactly like what it sounds. It's creamy, but too sweet. Definitely a tasty unique drink! read more
Place is spacious and there's a small parking lot. When I went there was a long line and the worker was busy talking into between taking orders, so line was moving slow. Drinks were made fast! I liked my drink, it's very refreshing and not too sweet! read more
