Update to my previous review - The curse of the California calcification struck again and I had a nice new pinhole leak in a main supply line leading to my 2nd floor bathroom, destroying nearly everything in its wake, including the ceiling below it. Luckily Severson came to the rescue again, and they had me back up and leak-free in just a couple hours. We wanted to repipe our condo and called a few companies we had researched for estimates. We needed to get it done quickly, correctly, and professionally. We are happy we selected Severson because they went out if the way to get it done in time and made it economically feasible for us. What's more is that they have stood by their work. Soon after we discovered a minor issue with the hot and cold water hoses being reversed on the washer. They came out immediately and fixed the issue. About a month later a toliet had a slight leak we thought was from the supply line. They came out immediately. Turns out it was from the fill valve which wasn't anything associated with the repipe. I live in Bennett Ranch and we had a mysterious leak in the ceiling next to our fireplace right above our TV. It only leaked when there was moisture in the air in the early mornings. Never leaked when it rained, nor when the plumbing was used. We called numerous plumbers out and contractors who had a variety of theories of how to approach the problem and they were all expensive and required cutting exploratory holes in the house everywhere. So after a year of studying the problem and servicing the roof and one inspection after another I happened to be walking my dog in Cherry park and saw a Severson Plumbing truck parked in the driveway of a house that was the exact same model as mine....Could this be a sign? so I called for an "Estimate"....Dylan and Carmen showed up on time, listened to my story, inspected the pipes and said they do some basic investigation and report their findings...forgot to mention how professional they were with protective covers on their shoes....anyway they cut into the wall exactly where the problem was and discovered 2-couplings in a vertical vent pipe that were never glued....30 minutes later the problem was fixed and they meticulously cleaned up...the end of a year long saga at a very reasonable price....can't say enough good things about Severson and Dylan and Carmen especially. I had occasion to use Severson plumbing for an emergency leak in a rental condo on a Saturday late afternoon. Kurt Severson coordinated several phone calls with me and my tenant to determine whether I should incur an emergency call. Due to his very calm demeanor (while I was not so calm) I decided to go ahead with the service call with his plumber for later in the evening as his worker was on another job. His plumber showed up at the scheduled time and Kurt came along as well. They found the source of the leak in a pipe in the ceiling, fixed it with minimal damage to ceiling drywall. They were neat, professional, and courteous in interfacing with my tenant and then reporting to me. It was a good suggestion by Kurt to do the emergency call as both my tenant and I would have faced much more damage and stress had he not recommended that course of action. After interviewing several contractors to re-pipe our house, we had our doubts because they all were very fast talkers and wanted a signed deal on the spot. Jerry Iske from Severson made all the difference. A straight forward guy, who didn't even bring a contract with him on our initial interview. He wanted to talk about the product and the project. Needless to say we hired Severson for our Pex re-pipe project and have no regrets whatsoever. Jerry brought his crew in ON TIME!! and they were like a finely orchestrated dance the way they went about the project. They are so good as a team that our water was off for a total of only 4 hours!! The plumbing aspect was completely satisfactory, but I held back one star for the exterior stucco work not being a good quality match with the texture. It was in an area on the side of the house that's not regularly open to view, so it wasn't the end of the world for me. However, to be fair, the same guy did the interior patchwork and it was seamless and perfect! Good quality work by a knowledgeable team, and exactly like the project proposal stated. Jerry even accommodated few small extras for us at no additional cost. We're very very satisfied. read more

I called Severson Plumbing because of all the great reviews. I've spoken with Kurt, Danny, Bruce & Mike and couldn't be happier with the service I've received. My 2 experiences are consistent with all the 5 star reviews. I'll spare you the details of my recent plumbing dilemma (feel free to contact me if you have questions) but it started on a Sunday NIGHT. I left a message on the emergency line and Kurt called me back within minutes. Danny (replaced my sink) and Bruce & Mike worked on a water leak. All 3 plumbers were (1) prompt-actually arrived early with a heads up call (2) assessed the problem and repaired it in a timely manner (3) NICE-answered all my questions and were patient with me and my hovering. Kurt even sent Bruce out the following day to take a look at my water heater & didn't even charge me for it! Most importantly, it's so refreshing to be able to call a company and speak to the same person and even be remembered. I appreciate the effort Kurt made to accommodate me. I woke up to a leak under my sink, turns out the hot water pipe split so I immediately called Severson as they are recommended by my HOA. They arrived at 8:15am, earlier than the time frame given over the phone! I was pleasantly surprised as most companies in general arrive at the later part of the time frame. Bruce and Robert arrived. They were both professional and nice. Bruce diagnosed the problem, explaining in detail the issue/solution, and gave me a quote to replace three shut off valves (two others were worn out and probably ready to burst any day too). After the fact I feel like it was a little costly for the simplicity of the job but because of the emergency situation I agreed. They worked quickly and efficiently using a new version stop valve which are clean and sleek. Bruce also made me aware of a water pressure issue with my pressure regulator and gave me a quote. I am extremely happy with the new stop valves but needed to think on the pressure regulator because the cost was high. Over the weekend I got three other quotes which were about $75-100 lower. Wanting to use Severson again I called and spoke to Maria (she was very kind as well) and asked if she could see if they could come down on their initial quote and they did! Hooray! Ken and Robert came out and worked quickly and efficiently. Again, they were very detailed on explaining everything. Overall the pricing might be on the higher side but I appreciate the flexibility with their quotes. In general the techs that worked on my home were exceptional :) I would use them again and will refer them to my friends and family. read more

We had such a great experience with Severson plumbing. Jerry did our initial quote and was very knowledgeable and educated me on the whole process. He was also very friendly. He was present during a lot of our re-pipe, which I liked (many people give the quote and then you never see them again - a whole different team does the work). Severson was pretty much on time and finished the job in four days. They kept the mess to a minimum. My only complaint is that when they patched the walls, the texture did not match our walls very well. Thankfully most of the places are not super obvious locations. I called Action Appliance to ask for a referral for a good plumber for a plumbing emergency we had after calling several other plumbers in our area that did not care enough to help us out for an emergency that happened close to closing time. I called Severson Plumbing due to their recommendation, and they came out right away to fix a pin hole leak. They were very nice, professional and knew exactly what to do to prevent needless wall and tile damage in our kitchen. Their work was impeccable and we told them we wanted them to come back to replace all of our 30 year old sink faucets throughout our house sometime soon. They quoted us a price that was a little on the high side so we thought we might try another plumber that our neighbors highly recommended that was charging us only $165 per faucet vs $250. Long story short, while the other plumbers that our neighbors recommended installed 2 faucets without any problems or issues they broke a pipe while removing our bathtub sink drain and then were "too busy" because of the holidays to come back for days to fix it. In fact we were told we "were lucky" they came AT ALL during December because of the holidays. The leak broke through the wallboard in our garage and we had a real mess in our hands for days. After numerous frantic calls to have then finish the job and replace the rest of our sink fixtures before we had company coming we decided to call trusty Severson Plumbers. They knew we had a time crunch so they brought out two of their best plumbers to finish our faucets and shower fixtures and once again their work was flawless. Bruce was so kind about thoroughly explaining everything they did and his knowledge of plumbing was very impressive. Sure, their prices are a little higher than some plumbers, but they are on time, honest and always there when you need them and they really know what they are doing.
