I definitely recommend for all to come and try. We went here for dinner and the service was excellent, food was excellent, and atmosphere was great. Food: We ordered the wagyu bulgogi hot pot which comes with free broth refills and a generous portion of meat and veggies. The broth had a wonderful flavor. Tried out the very popular braised pork belly and mini buns appetizer, which was so tasty that my picture shows it already almost finished because I was too excited to eat it. There was no time to wait on the deliciousness! Great portion again as well. It was enough for 4, although there was 3 of us this evening. Ordered one of the specialty dishes of spicy seafood stir fried noodles. It was one of my faves of the evening!! This dish is definitely meant to be shared, and I am drooling just thinking of it. I've been to a lot of Korean-Chinese fusion restaurants around in Rowland Heights, Garden Grove, Fullerton, and Los Angeles (K-town) and I was surprised to see one in Chino. Since I didn't want to drive out to Rowland Heights, I decided to try it because I was craving some JJang-pong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) & Tang-Su-Yuk (Sweet and Sour Pork). I came here on a Saturday around 5:30pm and there wasn't a lot of customers around. We were immediately sat down and the first thing I noticed is the marble table was a wee bit high (I'm 5'7") which kind of made it a bit uncomfortable and hard to eat with their HUGE bowls. I ordered the black bean noodle soup, spicy seafood noodle soup, and the sweet and sour pork. The one I liked was the black bean noodles. It was good and I love how they have a fried egg on top. The bowl was HUGE but they only fill the bowl half way. The black bean noodles tasted pretty good. If I ever had a craving for it, I would maybe just get the black bean noodles. The spicy seafood noodle soup (not the hot-pot) was ok. It kind of tasted watered down and not as spicy as other Chinese-Korean restaurants. The broth is more catered to those people who "like" spicy but not too spicy. I would of preferred it being spicier. The bowl was HUGE but again, they only filled it up half way. I had my elbows on the table because the table was too high and I was trying to reach into the bowl. It would be better if maybe the chairs were 1-2 inches higher. My least favorite was the sweet and sour pork. I like that they had a lot of colors to the plate (red cabbage, pineapple, carrots) but it was pretty bland. The dish was neither sweet nor sour and I had to dunk it in the soy sauce and vinegar to make it somewhat decent. I asked for rice but I got steamed buns? I guess it was good that they didn't give us rice since the dish wasn't flavorful. Overall, Wara was ok. I don't think I will be back unless I'm craving black bean noodle soup and I'm lazy to drive out to Rowland Heights. read more

A hidden gem!!!!! They have a large variety of Asian alcohol. Woot! Woot! And their food is amazing! It's such a unique blend of Korean/Japanese/Chinese fusion. Been here twice in one week and will definitely be coming back for more. Items to note, please excuse my spelling: JaJyung Myun, noodles in a black bean sauce. So good! Crispy onion yellowtail appetizer, it was so good we ordered a second plate. Spicy seafood noodle soup, heavenly. Crispy rice cake, you dip this in honey or a spicy sauce. SO GOOD! Bulgolgi on rice, kids love this one, basically a beef rice bowl like Yoshinoya but 100 times better. Kids will also love the sesame rice balls. Their seafood tower is ridiculous in size and you get so much for the price you pay. We had a few other dishes and none disappointed. To finish the meal they have macaroon ice cream sandwiches, LOVE THOSE! Just like the ones from Boiling Point and some of the other korean bbq restaurants they've been popping up at lately. Oh and they also have sweet potato chips for dessert with ice cream. Don't knock it til you've tried it. DELICIOUS!!!! I've been to WARA a few times and I've enjoyed each my meals each time. My favorite is their bolgolgi hot pot with beef toro. The soup base is very unique, it's something I haven't found at other shabu shabu or hot pot placed I've been to. It's definitely worth a try if you like hot pot or shabu shabu. Their hot pot comes with a good variety of vegetables, enough meat for two, a bowl of noodles, and interesting sauces. It's a full meal for my husband and I. If you are a party of 4, order additional meat or add ons or an appetizer. The service here is good to. Servers always have a smile on their face. Price wise they're a little higher than other shabu shabu places but not extremely much more. If you've never tried WARA you should give it a try :) read more

Came for lunch just before noon with my family on Tuesday. We were the only customers. It was our first time here so we opted for the AYCE hot pot. We went with the split soup base and favored the mild/spicy better because it had more flavor. We tried a little bit of everything from pork belly, beef, scallops, shrimp, vegetable tray, fish egg balls, ramen, house noodle and more. Between the ramen and house noodles I would recommend the house noodles. It was very fresh, soft, and delicious. I would avoid the tofu. Service was excellent! They have a combo where you can get jam bong (spicy noodle seafood soup) and jajamyun ( noodles in black bean sauce) that is very good. My friend and I got the jajiamian and the spicy seafood hotpot. Both were really good! I especially loved the broth from the hotpot and the portion is definitely enough for two! We were greedy though so we ordered the noodles too. I wasn't the hugest fan of the noodles, but my friend really liked them, so YMMV. I was so impressed with the Hot Pot soup base. We did half begolgi and half spicy seafood and it was perfect. My picky 5 year old eater was even in heaven and asked if we could eat there every night.
