The food I had was delicious. The beautiful and kind lady provided excellent service! The place looks very nice and clean. I was so surprised there's not a lot of people coming here to eat. Must give it a try if you're near the area. Enjoy!

Haven't been here in years. However, I noticed on Google Maps that the reviews were looking up. I was so beyond happy to see that it had improved in rating since the last time I was here. We ordered takeout. We got the Dinner Combination plates which come with soup or salad, egg roll, won tons, choice of rice, and choice of a main course. We choose three Combination dinners. They were sweet & sour pork, chicken chow mein, and mild General Chicken with fried rice. We also had an order of lettuce-wrapped chicken. Then we just shared it all. I have never had sweet and sour pork without veggies before. I would have liked to see some onion or bell pepper. However, the flavor was really good. The general chicken, and chow mein were both tasty. Of course, my favorite was the lettuce wraps with hoisin sauce. I think they make the best lettuce wraps in town. We will definitely be back. The food was not quite what we remember when it was at its top. But it has come up in rank. This restaurant deserves a second chance. So if you are like me and used to love this place. I highly suggest giving it another shot.

Service was better this time around and will say it has improved in the past few years. Dined in 2/14/23, I met my hubby for a quick lunch and I was craving a spicy General's chicken or Mongolian beef. This place does it right! Ambience is a bit dated, but I think it's part of this restaurants charm. They offer sushi too and that's a plus for our older kids because they won't eat Chinese with us when we come in. Dim Sum and boba is also available, but select days and times and quantity was an issue we came across last visit. Do check out their lunch specials if you're dining during the week. If you're looking for an Authentic Chinese plate in Sparks area; look no further.

This place is a ripoff!!! Their orders don't even come with simple necessities like rice. What Chinese sushi place doesn't come with rice with normal entrees?!?!? We paid $70 for just beef & broccoli, a sushi roll and sesame beef. I can't believe nothing came with not even a small side of rice. Called them to see if they would do anything. But no accommodation. Never going back here again. What a rip off.

It's so close to us in Sparks, we've driven by it literally *thousands* of times on the freeway not knowing the genuine ~treasure~ that lies within the unassuming hotel frontage. Bonus: DJ Trivia happens here on out date night Thursdays! Howeverrrr, we were here for the food & drinks. Absolutely captivating cocktails & a nice menu of pasta dishes, standard fare like burgers/sandwiches/salads, pizzas etc but also truly elevated dishes like premium steaks & seafood. Great selection of apps too! We loved the calamari (some of the best I've had outside of wharfside Monterey!) juicy sliders, a lovely little bread basket, and their beet salad & sausage stuffed mushrooms are perfection. Every cockatkl weve tried was delsih, and they just added some new ones to keep us on our toes. Stop the press! I just learned they have breakfast too! Makes sense being the onsite restaurant for a hotel. The ambiance is what hooked us! Think the sexy love-child of the Goonies & Pirates of the Caribbean. Its fun, kitchy and you'll spot something eclectic every time you come back. Kids menu, small plates, brekkies, late night menu...you name it, Gambi's has it on lock. This was my first time to Legends Bay Oyster & Sushi bar. We had some guests from the Bay Area and…read morethey wanted sushi. Since Legends was offering an all you can eat option and a buy two sushi rolls for $12.99, we decided to give Legends a try. Everyone had a couple of sushi rolls and I decided to sample different nigiri sushi so I can gauge the freshness and quality. Salmon, if not fresh (or as fresh as can be in Reno) can be oily and fishy. This wasn't it. It can tell it was previously frozen due to the texture. As fresh texture has more resistance when biting down vs previously frozen tends to be softer, less bounce when biting. But it was good or even better than some other local sushi offerings. Tako or boiled octopus, is almost never fresh caught / cooked at any restaurant other than Japan. Even in the Bay Area, Tako is usually bought cooked but not frozen. This is where it can affect the quality. If frozen, it can make the tako kind of stringy and mushy. When it's not frozen the tako is firm and slightly chewy. I can tell this tako travelled a little but it wasn't frozen. Unagi or grilled eel, is almost always purchased cooked by most restaurants other than what I've had in Japan. Similar to tako, it is usually shipped refrigerated but not frozen. All restaurants will serve unagi over rice with a drizzle of unagi sauce. The flesh should be tender and any bones will be super thin and not a problem to eat. There weren't any bones which is a plus. This unagi didn't appear to be previously frozen. We also has the edamame, which is tossed in garlic and salt with some oil. Very tasty on a simple dish. If cigarette smoke bothers you, there wasn't any in the restaurant but apparent everywhere in the casino, so plan ahead. The tables were about 30% capacity and even with that, the order to service gap was fairly long. Our server was pleasant and willing to explain how the player's card program worked. Would I come back for sushi here? Sure, but I better be hungry to get full value from the all you can eat.

We went back at 4:40pm as instructed and still plenty of room in the bar, but yet they still would not see us. The happy hour menu has changed and my husband's favorite Chardonnay is no longer included, but Adrian bought him a lovely Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc which was very tasty for $8. The staff and restaurant were lovely as always, and you really can't beat the views from dining on the outdoor patio overlooking the Marina. If you have general hesitations when it comes to buffet food, you can put them at ease when at the Water Bar, as even the typical 'filler food' like salad and mashed potatoes were out-of-this-world good. I'm not kidding when I say their buffet-style Caesar Salad was better than any made-to-order Caesar I've had. Same goes for their garlicy mashed potatoes, they were heavenly! The poached prawns were prepared perfectly, and the snow crab legs and claws were delicious and easy to eat (if you're used to shelling your own crab). The soy-glazed salmon with wild rice was surprisingly flavorful and melted in my mouth. Even the mac & cheese was rich and creamy- I can't think of a single item I tried that was sub-par. I ended the meal with a slice of carrot cake that I kept thinking about long after I left. It was moist and well-spiced with a very decadent frosting, the perfect end to a delicious brunch. I will say, we weren't aware the cost per person for the buffet was $80 (it wasn't displayed on the buffet menu, our server didn't share this when telling us about the buffet, and we didn't ask). We have no regrets on opting for the brunch buffet, as again all the food was truly incredible. However, an $80 price tag will likely keep us from opting for the brunch buffet again in the future.
