So this is my first time having boba in sometime so I decided to head down the street from my house to quench a craving I was having. This is also my first time trying Sharetea. When I walked in a was immediately greeted by staff and by Jason ( who I'm guessing is the owner). Jason and the rest of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was asked what I would like and since I wasn't sure Jason suggested I try something of the secret menu. Jason was not wrong. The drink he suggested is really good. Just a tad on the sweet side but very refreshing. I definitely be coming back to Sharetea ( particularly this location) just for the service alone. I'm excited to try some other beverages on both the regular menu and the secret menu. Thank you so much Jason and crew for making my first with you such a great experience. This place have so much different choices, and they had the happy hour deal for the longest time having drinks a certain price off during a certain hour. Somtimes buy one get the second one half off. The place is pretty empty generally speaking, the drinks are prepared fast, and they have their own parking lot there for easy access. I enjoy the boba at this chain. I probably come like once a week or once evry 2 weeks. As we are in the midst of a pandemic, first safety. They have stickers and signs reminding to stay 6ft apart. The staff wear masks and there is a barrier between staff and customers. Only thing is they still prefer cash so that may not be so safe with the touching of bills/exchange of germs. I usually get the QQ Happy Family milk tea without red bean. This is great. You get a combination of a variety of chewy goodness. Sometimes the tea seems more diluted but usually it's great. My go-to drink. Today I decided to try something different so got the Fresh Milk Family. Similar to the milk tea you get a few different chewy toppings in the drink but I was a tad disappoinyed that it tasted like literally milk with toppings added. I thought maybe it was going to be an ice blended milk drink but no. I suppose if you had a kid and didn't want them to have caffeine with tea this would he a good option. I love Sharetea's mango green milk tea and have been craving it since quarantine began. They're the only place that gets the flavor and consistency right. I am also a fan of their Okinawa milk tea (and it already comes with boba!). They have pretty good, chewy boba but I'd say their mini boba is a hit or miss because there have been times when the mini boba is completely stuck and you can't separate because the mini boba has emerged to form one giant singular boba blob. I called today to order a mango green milk tea with boba and Okinawa milk tea. Picking up the order was probably one of the most confusing procedures I've seen during COVID. The sign at the door shows two lines, one for pick up and one for order, but the arrows on the floor point in one direction in a loop. I hesitantly entered through the right line to head to the register and bumped into the person finishing their order heading to pick up at the counter. The extremely loud music + the loud drink making sounds + face masks makes it very difficult to hear what the employees are saying. I could not hear a single thing the poor girl was trying to say at the register and unfortunately there was a miscommunication with my order. They were very nice and gave me the drink for free so I felt bad but I would suggest really turning down the volume of the music. Cali weather is amazing all year round, but what I love most are the cool summer nights. They always bring a stillness that brings just the right amount of warmth without making you feel like you've stepped into an inferno. I got the wintermelon lemonade (sans caffeine and toppers) and it was SO refreshing. The three of us sat outside and caught up over tea and it felt like we were transported back to college where we were reminiscing about nostalgic memories, while talking about the new ones that we've made as young professionals. Sharetea in my experience has been a staple, as you can never really go wrong with anything you order from here. Easy parking near the store, and they have tape on the floor to denote social distancing. Drinks were made quickly, and they gave me hella boba (though I guess that's a good thing?) I personally prefer a cup that's 15% boba 5% ice and 80% drink, but hey, every store has their own golden standard. They also have mini boba which I highly recommend. When 1 of my 2 full drinks dropped and the cup split in the bag & I went in to ask for another one and was told that it's against policy for them to make another. This was my first trip to the Arcadia location of Sharetea. There used to be one close to my house in Saint Gabriel but then it shut down a while ago. I happened to be in town and decided to stop in since it's been a hot minute since I've had any Sharetea. It's a very small store and currently they are not allowing any dine in and it's only take out. I ordered a QQ happy family drink. They have tape on the ground to tell you where to stand and wait for the flow of the store. Some of the decor was kind of weird where it's all masking tape but now things are peeling off and some of the signs on the door are pixely and almost kind of not great. There's room for improvement for sure. I'm sure it looked fine at the start but it's just in bad shape now. I was able to get street parking right outside the store. That might not be the case for everyone I believe they do have parking in the back. I would come back for the nostalgia element of things if I'm ever back in the area but I don't think I'd come out of my way to visit the store. read more

Had a somewhat off tasting jasmine milk tea with ice cream here. I don't think the drink tasted like jasmine tea at all, and I also couldn't really tell if there was any ice cream inside of it. As a warning, they have a three percent charge for credit card, which is fine but I was told about this when the staff gestured at a poorly created, convoluted sign with a stock image of the 3% next to the printed words credit card charge, followed by some unrelated announcement. I scanned the page in confusion until the staff finally realized and just let me verbally know. And just to show that I'm not the only confused customer, a mom and son came in after me and also could not easily find what the added charge was on the sign until the staff clarified. They really need to reprint it with just words instead of a mismatch of words and pictures. My boyfriend ordered a whole lemon black tea (50% sugar) and it was extremely sour. I'm not sure if leaving it at regular sweetness makes it any better but I wouldn't recommend this drink. This was the first time I've been to this Sharetea or a Sharetea in general for a long time. The person at the counter was very helpful in explain all of the drinks such as what each drink is made up of, walking through the sweetness level, the different toppings, and what drinks are popular. I ordered a Mango Peach tea with Aiyu Jelly. One of the things I asked the employee was what was Aiyu Jelly. He goes through a pretty lengthy discussion. The first time they made the drink, it was made wrong. I asked for no ice and I literally got a cup full of ice. They take it back and I wait a few minutes and they bring out another one without the ice. However while waiting (literally one minute later) they bring out a happy hour sign. Happy Hour apparently started at 4 PM and I literally bought my drink 4 minutes too soon. The employee did not mention this, and it's not really that advertised. This made me have feel like I had buyers remorse. The drink itself was just okay. My girlfriend ordered a winter melon milk tea at 30% sweetness and it was really sweet still. I would be surprised at what 100% sweetness would be like. My drink itself felt like it lacked something. The atmosphere isn't bad, it feels clean but it's really small. It's not a good place to really hang out as there's not many tables or seating area. The parking lot can probably accommodate more cars than customers though. read more

I'm a boba fanatic. I've been to many other boba shops in the area, but Sharetea is the best by far. I've been coming here for almost two years now. My favorite drink is the Classic Green Milk Tea with boba, 30% sweet and less ice. It's legit the best thing ever. The tea is not too strong which I love, and they use creamer so it's dairy free! Anyway, I've been visiting their Arcadia location since I'm normally in that area almost every weekend. Please take note, their frequent drink card (buy 10 get 1 free) doesn't apply to all locations... only selective locations per card. My favorite Sharetea drink is their QQ Happy Family Milk Tea. Love all the toppings that come with it! Of course, I always add the Aiyu Jelly on top of it with regular sweetness and no ice... delicious and tasty! I have tried their Peach Kiwi Tea with Aiyu Jelly which is good, too. I was slightly disappointed with their Strawberry Ice Blended with Lychee Jelly & Ice Cream because it was a tad too sweet and heavy for me... I guess I could have asked for less sugar. Also, there was one occasion that I felt their QQ Happy Family Milk Tea fell short in the sweetness when I asked for regular sweetness... not sure what went wrong that one time... hence, I knocked down 1 star. Consistency is very important to me when it comes to taste and flavors. Other than those 3 drinks, I haven't tried any others... maybe I'll venture on new flavors next time. The staff seems nice and pleasant. The service is normally pretty quick. The only downside to the Arcadia location is the parking... I feel it's kind of tight in my opinion. But hey, we're just there for a short visit so I guess it's okay. It's marvelous to have a boba place like Sharetea in route of food restaurants that I normally visit on the weekends. One of my top go-to places for boba drinks! There are some drinks that are off the menu so if you want to try something different, ask the staff for other options. So far I've tried their oreo and mango ice blended, their Kiwi Fruit tea, and Canary (off the menu). Drinks that come with topping can be substituted with another one. I love their lychee jelly. I suggest you request for less sugar for the fruity drinks. Drop by their happy hours to get a discount on your second drink order. Friendly and helpful customer service! This location is in Arcadia along E. Duarte street was small and has limited space. Indoor was neat and organized. Atmosphere was chill and inviting. Sharetea offers a wide variety of milf tea boba. I have gone to copious boba shops but never been to Sharetea. Their boba items were interesting because they preselected the items that can have bobas/jellies. So not everything on their menu items can have boba pearl such as their Lime Mojito special or any item in that category. Hence, I was taken aback and was deeply disappointed (one star deduction). I ended up ordering their Kiwi fruit tea with boba pearl instead of the Mojito. Kiwi fruit tea was blended with lemon juice and kiwi. It was fresh and fruity flavor; and it's boba pearl was chewy, soft warm just the way it should be. Level of sweetness was okay at 35% (lowest). Prices were fair, affordable and competitive. Staff was nice and amiable. Service was outstanding and fast. Back parking lot is huge. Overall, I enjoyed my fruit tea boba and had a good order experience. I am very disappointed in Jason who would not honor my 2 completed rewards card. I had almost a third one completed. I haven't been in recently to use it since I was busy with finals, so I wasn't notified.. This is totally horrible customer service and by mistreating loyal customers like myself, I will never come back. I am so disappointed with Jason, because I always chatted with him and thought he treated loyal customers very well. In fact with so many new boba shops, I have been coming back because I was loyal. Why have a rewards card if you will not honor the customers' loyalty? I feel so betrayed.
