This rating is based on the service department. I have not taken my car here in years, because there was always some unexpected "problem" with my car and I could never get out of there for hundreds more than I planned on spending. Found another repair shop which is courteous and honest and haven't looked back since..until I got a recall notice for one of my airbags and had to come back. I scheduled an appointment and drove in right on time. One guy at a podium just stood there and stared at me as I waited in my car for someone to help me. No one came out of any of the glass offices, and I know at least 4 people saw me drive in and wait. Finally, after ten minutes, I had to wander through the offices in search of someone to help me. The nice shuttle driver took me back to my house. The service was supposed to be done over an hour ago. They called to let me know they were finishing up, of course adding what additional services they recommend I get today...and no one has since called to let me know when I'm being picked up to get my car. I had to call twice, once because I was disconnected. The service team didn't have any record of the status on my car or the shuttle. So frustrating. Hopefully I won't have any more reasons to visit this dealer because I have never had a good experience here. When you're shopping everyone is WONDERFUL! As soon as you leave it's a nightmare. I love my new car but regret buying it from Showcase. They were eager to sell me something but in such a rush to get me out because they were closing that they never went over all the features of my car, didn't give me the owner's manual, they didn't even get the title for my trade in. The Finance Dept failed to explain I'd have a double payment the first month- a DOUBLE payment during the holidays! I called my sales rep the day after I got my car, with questions about it since I don't have a manual & to see if he found the cargo tray he said he'd throw in, no call back. Someone else called though, saying they didn't have my title. I asked her to check with the rep because I was certain I'd given it to him. She said she'd call back if he didn't have it. No call back until 3 weeks later, the week of Thanksgiving, while I was in the middle of a move, demanding I either pay them $50 for a duplicate or find my title and come in ASAP. I got another phone call the next week, from a man claiming to work for the alarm company, he wanted to know if the alarm on my new car was activated. I called Showcase to ask if that was a legitimate call & to ask about the alarm I wasn't aware I had (no one went over that "feature") I left 2 messages & had to call a 3rd time before I spoke to anyone. Even trying to get my car in for my first oil change was an annoying experience. So much so that I'd rather pay someone else than get the first free one from them. The double payment deal was the final straw. Offering to buy me a cup of coffee for my troubles isn't enough & it's definitely not going to change my mind about this dealership. read more

I have used this business for 11 years. It was generally the same until my last 3 visits. I have a CRV with only 50k. I have driven CRV's since 2010. I always planned for a larger bill at 30k and 60k. No more. They want $500 for this and $500 for that every visit. I just went in for a oil change and paid almost $900 and they still want another $1000 for more stuff on my next visit I have a year of payments left. Showcase gets ZERO stars. My FOURTH sales rep, Shawn Snow, gets the star in this nightmare experience. Wish I worked with him on day 1. Got the car, not sure if it was worth the hassle or money. 18 Hrs (over 4 days) TOTAL at the dealership. Ridiculous. Their customer service rep Nique claims they're all about transparency, NOT, which is how I unknowingly ended up with a demo car instead of a new car. I was mislead, info was left out, the fact that it was a DEMO car was not mentioned until the day after, when I picked up the car. Why did I pick up the car the day after? Because my salesman, Rosco, blatantly lied during negotiation that I would be getting a Civic from another dealership, not the one sitting on the lot that had issues and was not running. Surprise! That's the one I got! During negotiation, I felt belittled (using salesman lingo & numbers at me knowing that as a first time new car buyer, I would not understand, briefly mentions car has 800 miles but strategically averts my attention to all the numbers and things), insulted (when Rosco tried to use Starbucks giftcards as part of the deal when he couldn't get me a lower payment - WTF! Who does that?!), bullied (when I wanted a higher value on my trade in but Rosco said no, saying that it needs 4 new tires & the paint was not good, this and that). There was also another salesman Greg, who didn't say much, but his presence still added to the uncomfortableness. My boyfriend was very vocal about being hungry for HOURS. "Oh you can get food after you sign this." Sign and he'd come back with more numbers. Sign, disappear, talk, sign, disappear. Food did not happen until about 7:30pm (our appt was at 2pm). WE told the sales guy to order a pizza for us. We were there from 2pm to 9pm. 7 hours of awfulness. I did not realize it is literally a fricking battle. Day 1 at honda (12/18/16): Negotiations w/ pushy salesman jerk Rosco and Greg. 7 Hours. Day 2 at honda (12/19/16): Pick up the car and NOW he mentions it's a demo car (driven by GMs, employees, GMs' wives, etc) but still considered a "new" car, not comfortable taking the car but Rosco keeps pushing it on me and assures me it's a perfect car. 2 Hours. Day 3 at honda (12/27/16): Go to car at lunch and car is LIFELESS. DEAD! The terminal post had popped off the battery. ON A NEW CAR? Various Icons now lit up on my dash. I go to dealership after work around 5:30pm. I take my car to service and while waiting was approached by this CS guy, Brian. We start talking and he notices that I'm not happy about my "brand new car." I explain my experience to him. He tries to talk me into another car. We do a walk around with salesman Eddie (which was not done for me on the Civic!) and test drive the Accord Hybrid. It's awesome, I like it! They get me pumped about the car and we start talking numbers. After 2 hours of this, they tell me that they cannot do the deal and switch cars for me. WHAT? ANOTHER 2-2.5 HRS WASTED. On the way home, called the CS operations mgr Naomi and left her a voicemail stating that I am extremely upset with my experience at Showcase Honda. So many let downs. The next day, after some phone tag, I told Naomi what would make me happy would be A) an actual NEW car because I felt I paid new car pricing, not demo pricing, B) get more money discounted from the price I'm paying, or C) get my trade in back. Naomi offered to write me a check of $150 for the 800 miles on the car and stated that they had already given me more for my trade and they are taking a $2600 loss on the car. That's cool, but it was really more about the awful experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. I set an appt with her the next day, though she sounded very reluctant to do so. 4th day at honda (12/30/16): 9AM - met w/ Naomi and reiterated some of my points. They could swap me out for the black Civic that I did NOT want. Passed a blue hatchback and asked for numbers on that. They couldn't figure out the numbers before I had to leave for work. I received no follow up on the numbers, and I ended up calling Showcase at about 4pm. They couldn't give me the hatch for what I wanted it for. I get down there at 5pm. Shawn tries to work more numbers & when that wouldn't work, I finally asked to simply get my trade in back. I waited for 10-15 min for the manager and finally got up to ask again. The mgr, April, was SO RUDE and made it very apparent than I was an irritation to her. Really an awful woman. Getting my trade in was impossible apparently. She accused me of wanting to see them loose money because of the price I wanted for the Hatch was too low! She also had the audacity to ask me to come back on Monday because they were so busy with customers. So am I no longer a valued customer or what?! They magically find a NEW car for me. The nightmare has ended and can finally feel good about my car. The end. 2 hr (am), 4.5 Hours (pm). Shop around, do your research. Learn from my mistakes. It is incredible bad service when you need to get upgrades. First they tell you the parts had arrived. They found out later some parts were missing. Then tell you they need one more day. They found out the technician doesn't know how to install the parts and needs to be train my Honda headquarters. Then they tell you a rental car is available. horrible, horrible shady dealership! I bought a used car and, "Honda Certified" no less. I noticed one tire had a gouge and pointed it out and they ended up replacing it. I should have looked a little closer at the others! Took the car home and 2 days later the tire pressure light went on. I took it to Discount Tire and after inspection they said the car wasn't safe to drive due to the tires. Sidewalls cracked and separating. I had to call and complain because that's outrageous to get a car you think has gone through a thorough inspection but obviously not too thorough!! They ended up replacing the 3 tires but SHAME ON THEM for trying to pass it off like that! I had to threaten to call the media before they made it right!! Still waiting on the "We Owe You" for machining all 4 rims because they're all gouged and scraped. It's been a month and still haven't heard from them! Don't buy here!!! Do not attempt to buy a car from this dealership, there is no communication between sales and finance. Sales promises one thing and finance cannot deliver. Salesmen are experts with inflated promises, and lack of transparency in their repertoire of communication in addition to making the reason finance could not deliver the customers fault. Returned a car after 4 days of being led around one circle after another. In addition they tack on an extra 3k of dealer add-ons as a money making scheme, that is off loaded to the consumer. This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. They kept the car 3 days to fix a recall were supposed to have it detailed. Three days later no fix on the recall and they brought it to us with sand on the back seats that wasn't there when we bought the car. They said oops just from throwing the dirty floor mats on the seat. We will detail it free for you sometime?? Also didn't give me the key for the locking lug nuts. You can tell they are lying if their lips are moving. I had to come back and spend 4 hours waiting (plus an hour drive each way) for them to take care of what they were supposed to do during the 4 days they had the car after I bought it. They were supposed to deliver it with everything done. I asked about the wheel locks when they dropped it off they weren't concerned at all. They said road side assistance would be able to break the lug off if needed??? They couldn't get out of their fast enough. After hounding them and 6 hours of my time in addition to the 4 days they kept it. Everything is done that was promised. They are all proud of themselves for making it right. If they had kept their word in the first place they wouldn't have had to "make it right" and waste my whole day. If you say your going to do something do it when you say you will. My time is valuable too. I reached out they said that it was an automatic reply to my issues had nothing to do with the service department, but my issues with the sales department which is true but I didn't directed towards the service department. Just bought a new (used) car from Showcase used cars, and after an electrical issue was discovered on it after getting it home, they stepped up to the plate! Was hoping the issue would reset/go away or hopefully a minor issue, but I was wrong - it was a major issue, entailing $5000 worth of repair charges. After working with service, they hooked me up with a rental while my car was in the shop for a week. Then, after deciding not to fix the vehicle, Showcase brought in a similar vehicle with lower miles, which had a few more options as well. From sales, to service, to management - they helped me out! Went in to get a replacement for a door lock remote for my Pilot. When the guy at the parts desk told me it would cost $118, I told him that was ridiculous. He then told me he could do it for $89. I purchased a vehicle put $3000 down 2 1/2 weeks later they decide to call me tell me I need to come into the office to sign some new paperwork that they got a better bank for my loan.... went into the office they tricked me and said let me fill up your gas tank for the inconvenience of coming down here then they proceeded to take the keys and then come in tell me that they're taking the car back. I later found out that it was because they had a better deal on the car they were pissed from day one that I found this car on auto trader for $7000 less than the listing price. And to top it all off they not only accuse me telling me that my paystub's were not sufficient enough for the bank I told them I could give them whatever documentation they needed they wouldn't hear it they wouldn't allow me to give them anything else and then the Director James who I will be going to the BBB and his higher up proceeded to steal my key fob that was left on the keys that I gave them from returning the vehicle. I decided to purchase my lease because The amount I would be paying was going to be the same as what I was paying for my lease. A new lease would've been cheaper. The paperwork had to be re-done three different times and somehow during that process my payment amount increased by $75. I tried to meet with The sales rep, I called several times a week , notified their supervisor and I never had a call back to discuss my concerns. I recently bought my son a new car and we went to the Bell Toyota. They were wonderful. They literally scammed me. They refused to look through the paperwork to show the original document I signed. Atul Sharma is a good salesman to go to. Great listener and very helpful. He's the reason I left with a car and added an extra star. The reason I'm still rating so low is I found everyone else to very much show they just want your money. After pulling some teeth I was able to get an affordable deal for myself. But they like to tip toe around your actual questions and drag out your purchase for as long as they can. I was explained an add on 3-4 times even after bluntly saying no to multiple times. Absolutely the worse car buying experience I have ever had. I took my car in for servicing and was basically held hostage by a over zealous salesperson. I was upfront and honest with him about my current situation and did not think I could be approved. He swore he could push it thru and annoyingly kept on pushing. Nicholas continued to oversell me many times on this car. He lied about the car getting 40 miles to the gallon. It gets 20. I told him the amount I was comfortable and able to put down as a down payment and he doubled it telling me that I would have to pay that again refusing to listen to me. He damaged the bumper in the test drive. I had to bring it in to be serviced which left me without a car for a day and a half. I could not get a straight answer from anyone as to the time it would take to fix a bumper. Service people said it was at collision. Collision people said they didn't have it. Collision people said it would take a few hours. Another department stated that the vehicle would take longer than a week. I called multiple times and finally got the process sped up. Showcase's communication skills are severely inept. After the car was purchased, I got calls from multiple departments demanding more info. Whatever happened to working with one salesperson and one finance guy. Calls to Showcase Honda have continually gone unreturned. No one knows their head from their a$$ at this company and everyone wants to pass the buck. They continue to blame their inefficiency on other departments. It has been two weeks since I purchased my car and they are still attempting to get the paperwork done. Buying a car is one of the most important decisions you make. The used car section at Showcase has the most unprofessional senior sales staff I have ever had to deal with. The gentleman kept trying to push us to buy without feeling comfortable/ test driving cars to our satisfaction. The guy was plain rude ... Used cars don't all ride the same depending on how they are maintained, but the gentleman kept telling us they are all the same and then kept quizzing us trying to be too pushy. Mr. Castillo was extremely knowledgeable about the Honda we were looking at - which is always important when shopping. He was very respectful and assertive and good following up with us to make the purchase run as smooth as possible. We bought a used vehicle with my Mother-in-Law and had many questions and a few schedule restrictions. I would consider us to be educated buyers and are quite familiar with the process. Mr. Castillo was very easy to work with and made this enjoyable for my Mother-in-Law. I am writing this review a month later and have no regrets working with Mr. Castillo. My daughter bought a 2022 Honda Civic Sport on 06/20/2021, Willie was great , he was are sales person , Trey the business Manager was also great and very thorough. We had to take the car back because one of the tires was losing air , we had the worst experience ever , James Whitneybell in the service department gave us the worst customer service . He gave us the run around, first the tire was covered and then it wasn't, we informed James of the warranty we purchased, the platinum which states it's covered, we even verified this with the business manager , he still stated we would have to pay over 200 dollars for the tire, after we asked to talk to Service Director Sean Hoops did he say they would fix it . I scheduled an appointment to meet with Mike to finance my car. I show up for my appointment, and I'm greeted by someone before I even get out of my car. I tell him I have an appt with Mike, he brings me inside and sits me down at a desk. I am then greeted by a completely different salesman, Jacob Stanton. He was extremely nice, and I could tell he was looking out for my best interests. I continued to decline offers to sell my car or trade it in, I was just looking for a ballpark idea as to what I'd pay for financing my car through them. So after declining those offers, Joey Ramos comes out and "sweet talks" me. Asks me what I want to pay, what I want for APR, and then writes all this down and asks me to write my initials below what he wrote so he can show other managers that he came up with these numbers himself?? So sketchy and sleazy. Joey Ramos ruined it for me and would not take no for an answer. Also, they took my keys when I got there to "check the odometer" when all I was doing was looking to get a loan for my current car! I never even got to talk with Mike by the way. Looked at a used car which was in OK shape, it had a scrape on the passenger side headlight and was fogged up, also the rear window had tint film that was not removed and thus was blurry to look out of. With that said I wanted to see what the numbers would be on the car, and they added $3000 in fees (not including the tax, title, reg, doc fee etc). That did not need to be in there including the scam ones like nitrogen filled tires, paint protection, lifetime tint. This was funny due to the bad film tint and paint damage by the headlight. I asked them to waive them but they would not budge, they also wanted to gi e me a high apr and a 5 year loan when I wanted a 3 year loan Max. Since they would not budge in the ridiculous fees, term years, and high apr I walked out and then they called me back about 30 minutes later R saying that they can approve me at the apr I had requested. I told them no thanks and I am done with them. Never going back. read more

Sleazy Car Dealership Education 101 Monday - my wife gets a call. (Paraphrasing) "Hi, We'd love to purchase back your 2013 Honda Fit. There is a demand for them and we're out of stock. It would help us out and in return we would pay off your loan at Wells Fargo increasing your credit score. We will be able to step you up to a CR-V for the same or even less of a monthly payment." Mon night - after work she tells me. "Too good to be true," I think. She tells me she's going to investigate, but no decisions. Tues night - she visits Showcase after work. She returns in a horrible mood not wanting to talk about it. Wed, her day off - She tells me she was ganged up on by 5 agents. Telling her things like, "you need new tires," "we'll have to depreciate the car for these scratches and dents," "not sure what sort of trade-in value we can get for you." REALLY?? You called her!...asking her for a favor. We don't need a new car. Ours is only a year old with 9000 miles on it. Wed 10am - The manager calls to apologize. He requests an appointment. She is satisfied and touched by his sincerity. Hmmm. Wed 5:00 - We drive to Showcase, and as you would expect, before I could even close my door, a piranha was upon us asking to help. "We have an appointment," I retort. Inside we are greeted by a sales manager. He gets some information and introduces us to Clay, the sales lead for his team. They are immensely cordial, friendly, amenable, attentive, and give the impression they will bend over backwards for us. I am satisfied for the time being. I explicitly explain, "[This is what we were told. If this can't happen this way, it's a waste of our time.] Is this what is going to happen?" I was assured it was. After inspecting the car, Clay; "Who told you you need new tires?" We joke about the idiocy. Huh...instant rapport and trust with Clay. In retrospect, I believe it's in their strategy: 1. Make initial contact and promise the world. (get the customer back thru the door) 2. Gang bang them and provide negative feedback about the car, all the while feeling badly they can't help more. (Test to see if client falters and carries thru with a bad deal). 3. If 2 doesn't work, have the Sales Manager call to apologize. Say something like, "I'm really upset with (those guys in the OTHER department). I don't know why they called you, but let me see if I can help." Make things right and get the client back thru the door. 4. Here's where i left off in the story.... They send Jon over to introduce himself. He is the asst mgr who selflessly offers himself as our Rock. If we need Anything, please track him down. He makes great small talk and plays with our 2 year old son. 6:00 - 7:10 my wife spends most of her time talking with Clay, while I chase my son around the dealership invading people's offices and stealing as many keychains as he can find. We both test drive the CR-V and of course love it. It's a great car. 7:10ish - "Clay, how much longer is this going to be? I need to cook dinner and get my son to bed." Clay - "Oh what are you cooking tonight?" Me - "Pasta primavera" Clay - "Mmmm, sounds good. It won't be long. We can make a food run if you like." Me - "Sounds great, let's do that." Relieved I won't have to cook. 7:20 - Clay returns with results from Finance, but NO FOOD. Snack lady comes over with more unhealthy carb snacks for my son. He needs vegetables and protein, not processed flour in the shape of fish. Clay begins to speak of things like Down Payment, Leasing terms, $686/monthly payments!!! Am I on a planet where everything I say is ignored? In what way was I not completely clear on why we were here? We pay an almost affordable monthly payment and will have the car paid off in 3 years. The Fit is an excellent commuter car that we are happy with. You called us stating YOU need OUR car. We're doing you a favor by bringing it in, which implies you do what's necessary to make us happy. 8:00 - I write down 3 things on his finance report: 1. It's 8:00 2. Under $X00/month 3. No Down Payment "Clay, I'm annoyed at this point. It's 8:00 and I need to start dinner and get my 2 yr old son to bed. You didn't get us any food and what we're looking for isn't on that piece of paper. This has been a waste of our time. We're leaving." A little back peddling and explaining that once he "Goes to Bat" for us on the trade in value and other discounts. Like he's really on our side, battling the evil Finance department. A hero for our interests. 8:30 - I tell Jon we're leaving. "Don't just bolt on us. At least tell us when you're leaving." Um, I just did, and I told Clay an hour ago, and we're still here. See Ya! My son went to bed an hour late and we ate dinner at 10. UPDATE: She went back in. They asked me to take down my review. I did. She got the CRV $0 down and $10/mo more. I bought my 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid 6 years ago at this dealership. I went in as a woman and alone and needless to say I was ripped off. I do have to say it's my own fault for not doing my research on the Hybrid IMA batteries and the constant replacing they need. Over the years I have to say the service department has only went down hill. It's now run by a group of low down con artists. The one I had to deal with today name is Michael Valenzuela. I scheduled an appointment with him and I should've known when he wouldn't give me a quote over there phone for a specific repair which I knew what the problem was. A motor mount was definitely bad. Long story short my check engine light was on and was told it was my catalyst converter and it would cost 3,400 to fix this!! By the way this is probably more than my car is worth. Also, that yes my motor mount is bad a whole list of other things. The motor mount was $600. I understand things go bad with wear and tear but these people will try and take advantage of any vulnerable person that walks in those doors. I googled repairs shops and the first one I called could replace the catalyst convertor for $800 and Tempe Honda quoted my motor mount at $400. Stay away from these they will make you feel horrible just because they can! read more

The circus atmosphere is off-putting (they really need to get rid of that gong). Aside from that though they are shady... very shady. They'll respond to your True Car contact request saying they have the car and then not have the car but have one similar or kind of like it. Instead of giving you a ballpark payment they ask you how much you can afford and then shoot for that number. They also do things like tell you they are competing against the dealership down the street to sell your trade in knowing full well they aren't going to have to worry about that because they are giving you salvage value. They push you to put a down payment on the car and then try to tack on extra things like clear coating (ZakTek) and maintenance protection plans (MPP) (incidentally they are the same company) to swallow it up. Oh, and lets not forget how they make you wait around for an excessively long time. To point where you're shelled and don't want to be there and then finally get you in to see the financial services manager who pushes papers in front of you to sign explaining quickly what they are but not really advise you what they actually mean (like for instance the expensive "services" signing up for are optional). The best part though will be when you walk out several hours later with a car loan that immediately puts you under water by $5000+ and wonder for a long time after what the heck you were thinking. If you aren't paying attention or get ground into submission by their dragging out the process tactics... it can happen. Buy hey! At least they give you a free oil change at 5000 miles (even though the car can probably go 10000 before having one). That's so nice that you don't even mind the fact that when you go in for the first "free service" they tell you they checked your AC and would advise you to consider their "Artic Blast" upgrade to ensure it keeps blowing cold air. Because after 5000 long miles on a brand new car that is a deep concern. No... no actually it isn't and I wonder at how they can keep a straight face saying it. I encourage anyone who would still go there to buy a new car after reading this to see if what I'm saying isn't accurate. I guarantee you'll be truly amazed. read more

I had an initial interaction with Showcase Honda which left me uncomfortable and led me to post a negative review. The issue was essentially communication about the repairs that needed to be done. I felt as if all of the info/ justification for the repairs had not been presented to me. HOWEVER - Showcase Honda followed up with me after I posted my initial review. The man I spoke with on the follow-up call offered a very thorough explanation and was immensely responsive to my feedback. He did his best to resolve my concerns and I feel comfortable with the how this issue was resolved. He gave me supportive documentation, including photos which supported his repair recommendations. I think that truly speaks to his integrity and the integrity of this business. I highly recommend this business and feel confident that I can trust them to make informed service recommendations. read more

I sincerely wish NEGATIVE five stars was an available rating. This was truly the worst experience I have ever had in an auto dealership. I would NOT recommend you shop at showcase honda. In fact, I would recommend that you not even drive on camelback because it goes by Showcase Honda. I went in to look at a new accord. The salesman proceeded to tell me he had a perfect car. He wanted me to sign finance paperwork before I saw the vehicle. The car did not match any of the criteria I mentioned to him. I told him three times I wanted to pay cash for the car, yet he continually spoke of finance terms. I gave him my business card, and said I would be in contact. He told me to say a few moments longer as he shuffled over to a glass room. After about ten minutes I got angry and started to walk out. Only to find that the salesman and a guy at the desk were on my companies website. I knocked on the glass, and the salesman was quick to tell me goodbye. When I returned to my office, my assistant told me that Showcase Honda had called and was attempting to verify my position with the company and get my personal contact info. read more

I wonder which disease infested gutter the owner of this dealership scrapes to find his sales staff... I have never been to a sleazier, shadier dealership anywhere. Ever. The owner installs a ridiculous "performance package" to every single car on the lot. This bullsh!t package consists of pinstripe stickers, cheap crap adhesive plastic trim on the wheel wells and worthless colored tape on the door edges. I asked the salesman what is the purpose of the thin, cheap trim on the wheel wells? He said it is "to protect the car from rocks and debris". I told him that's what the OEM splash guards at the bottom of the wheel well are for. And I asked him how a .5mm thin cheap plastic bumper sticker at the top of the wheel well is going to protect the paint from anything. He got pissy, and literally starting whining like a 13 year old girl. I then asked him what was the purpose of the tape (about as heavy-duty as electrical tape) on the doors and he said it was to protect the door edge from scratches and dings when the door hits another car. When I told him that the polymer OEM Honda door guards were far cheaper and 1000% more effective + durable, he again started whining like a little baby. They also wanted something like $700 for the most sh!te tint job I've ever seen. The crap already had blisters in it! To sum it up--the owner and his entire staff are D-bag sheisters. I walked into Showcase Honda after a nightmare experience at another Honda dealership and I was so happy to meet Nicholas LeJander. I purchased my Honda Ridgeline from him with the help of Trey in the financing department and they truly restored my faith in Honda dealerships, salesmen, and overall business practices. They were so nice and helpful, and kept me laughing throughout the day. They went the "extra mile" for me and I would recommend them to anyone! read more

So the next day, after many phone calls, they promise to refund the credit card for the extra charges. The total charged "in error" was $805. They also say that there are more papers to sign and that they could come to my wife's work and she could sign them there. Hell no! We scheduled for someone to come to our house when I was there to read over the new paperwork. They said they would be there tonight. Then they read my Yelp review and get a little upset. Brandon calls and says the deal is off, they are losing money on this deal and they are trying to "make it right", blah, blah, blah. The only way they will refund the overcharge is if I delete this review. So, I tell them that I will be happy to update my review once the refund has been made. They refunded the $805 overcharge and true to my word, here is the updated review. You still suck. Buy a car from anyone else. read more

Add me to the list of people who are underwhelmed and dissatisfied with this dealer. I purchased my vehicle in 2004 and had a generally good experience, once which I chalk up to bringing my Dad with me so I wouldn't get taken advantage of by dishonest salesmen (sad but true). In that time, I've only had a couple occasions to return, one being a factory recall on some part (which was repaired free of charge), an occasional oil change, and just about a year ago when my AC died. Each of those visits were unremarkable. A few weeks ago, I received another factory recall notice on an airbag valve, so I scheduled an appointment for yesterday afternoon to have it repaired. At the same time, I asked to redeem a coupon for a discounted oil change and car wash. I left the car off at 12:30pm and was told it would be just a couple hours before it would be ready. Surprisingly, less than 90 minutes later, I received a call letting me know the car was ready. My service tech, Tom, also told me he performed a free service inspection and found a few things needed to be replaced. This is what he listed on my invoice: Front ball joints worn out: $454 Oil pan gasket leaking: $339.95 Timing belt: $382 He advised I should have these things taken care of ASAP and he would be happy to schedule an appointment for me. I asked him which, if any of the three items, needed to be addressed right away. He said the timing belt was looking ok, but given the mileage of the car, it needed to be replaced since it hadn't yet gone out. He said the oil pan was saturated and was surprised I wasn't seeing oil on my driveway (I haven't seen a drop). He also said the ball joins were worn enough that I was risking my wheels falling off at any time. At that point, I felt pretty certain he was full of crap. I paid my $27 for the oil change and left. Once I got back to the office, I called the wonderful guys at Jack's Austo Alignment & Brakes for a second opinion. I explained what I had been told and the gentleman on the phone pretty much confirmed my doubts. He told me to take the car in and he would look at it free of charge. Sure enough, after he put the car up and took a look, he told me there wasn't a thing wrong with the ball joints. Not only were they not even loose, neither they or the boot worn out. He expressed his disgust and apologized on behalf of the dealer. In addition, he gave me the name and number of another reputable service shop which specializes in Hondas and Acuras - the very place he takes his own Honda. I always expect to be swindled by big car dealers. I'm fortunate enough to have family members and friends who have reputable places to recommend - not to mention Yelp! I'm thankful my car is in great shape and that once it's paid off in a few months, I'll be able to drive it for a long while before having to deal with a new purchase again. You can bet, though, that I will not shop at Showcase Honda. One last thing to mention. Remember that free car wash which was included in the oil change? Yeah, not so much. The windshield was essentially wiped down with a wet cloth before they switched on the wipers to dry it off. How can I tell? My wipers are shot and leave streaks after each use. Also? The same dried splotch of bird crap I saw two days ago is STILL on my moonroof. I understand free is free, but seriously... if you don't want to take the time to actually wash the car when you advertise you will, don't even bother in the first place. I wouldn't buy another new car from these folks ever again. It looks like my experience matches many of the ones others have had. I picked Showcase Honda because their online advertised price for the car I wanted was a very good deal. So I call them up to verify it was in stock, and it was. I made an appointment to see it. When I got there, the sales person I spoke to wasn't even there. So I used one of the other ones just hanging around. I test drove the car, and it was what I was expecting. Here's what annoyed the hell out of me. I asked the sales person what can you do for me with the price. He comes back with MSRP. Are you f***ing kidding me? I said that won't do. Go back to your "manager" and present me with a respectable deal. They come back a few grand lower. But it's still a few grand higher than THEIR ADVERTISED PRICE for the same exact car. Not needing to waste any more time, I tell them that I want the Internet advertised price. He goes back to the manager and comes back. They can't match that price unless I have a printout proving the price. WHAT?!! I'm sure they already looked up the car on their Internets in the office. What sleazebags. Well of course I had a printout! :) So they accepted my offer. But that's not all that annoys me about this place. They like to add the "Showcase Honda Package" to all their cars and charge a $1000 on top of it. What does that include? Window tint, pin stripe, plastic cover over wheel wells, and a foam plastic tray in the trunk. Total cost of parts, maybe $40 plus 30 minutes to apply. What a crock of poop. They use this as a way to charge you more, so that when they discount it a few hundred dollars, you feel better about it, even though it's worth NOTHING. Lastly, paying for the damn thing took FOREVER! I've purchased many new and used cars before. This one took 3 hours to process me out. There was the presentation about the features and benefits. There was endless waiting. There was the finance manager who told me about his personal life (actually he was a great guy!). There was the last car presentation inside the car. I mean come'on! Get this down to 1 hour TOPS and save your customers some time. All in all the price I paid was lower than Edmunds TMV. Fair enough for me. I just wasn't expecting to fight for an advertised price! Oh' and the sales guy who blew me off? Since he still made the appointment, he still got 50% of the commission! Bottom line, know what you're getting into with these clowns. read more

I went in on Memorial day..we had already visited 4 other honda dealers but I told my husband I bought my last car with them an they did great lets give them my business. I didn't go in looking for a new vehicle just a used. From start to end just no customer service..I told them my payment I needed an they tried to sell me a 2018 for same price almost at a new one. I tried to negotiate an explained the pricing didn't make sense.. they literally said let me get another set of eyes...an walked away..sales guy came back an said no way... didn't try to get me into another car..just literally didn't care. We walked out an drive to Avondale honda an bought a new one for just slightly over payment I wanted.. no hassle. So disappointed in show case..then manager calls me today trying to get me in a car... now you want to. I was at your dealership for 2 hours an you made no effort to me as a customer. If you enjoy haggling, being jerked around, and have hours to waste on negotiating, then this is the dealership for you. Even better, if you love multiple phone calls the next day because a dealership fails to meet, or even come close to your terms but then all of the sudden 'can work something out' the next day, don't walk...RUN to them. On the plus side, our original sales person was awesome...I'd probably hire her to come work for me if she ever chooses to leave the ass-kissing, bullshitting, car dealing business. read more
