From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. What really stood out was the food. Everything came out fresh and actually hot--not just the plate, but the food itself. You could tell it was made to order, not reheated or sitting under a warmer. Even better, the food stayed warm all the way through our meal, which is something you don't always get. They started us off with chips served with both a red salsa and a white queso, and both were delicious--a perfect way to kick things off. Overall, Los Cabos made our Sunday drive even better. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Navasota and would highly recommend it to anyone passing through looking for fresh, hot, and well-prepared food with great service.

It took us off guard because it's a Western Store and Taqueria in one. We popped in and they had plenty of seating, it smelled delicious, so we decided to go ahead. We ordered several street taco plates and a beef fajita quesadilla plate with rice & beans. Now, I'm kicking myself for not getting pictures of the food, but as I said, we were starving! It was absolutely and utterly delicious. Our favorite was the beef fajita quesadilla, which isn't your average quesadilla. It was packed with sautéed onions, peppers, steak, and yummy hot cheese. The flavor was out of this world. They also have a red salsa (habanero) and a green salsa (salsa verde) that is served alongside your food. They were both flavorful and delicious, too! The staff was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. They check on us numerous times throughout our meal. I forgot to add, you order at the front before you sit at your table - it's a quick, easy, and pleasant experience. My family will be back for sure, and we'll also be recommending the Taqueria to our family and friends who often pass through town. My recommendation: give this place a shot! When I'm in the area, I always got to tap in! Since I've actually been to Mexico, this place definitely reminds me of my time there. Sweet Breads, Chicharrones, Tortillas de maíz made from scratch and the lady who's been working there forever that only speaks Spanish.
