I have waited since this whole covid mess started. I am skeptical about dining in, but gave in since I missed this place (and to celebrate exam passings!) READ THIS POST IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT COVID like me! They are very clean. We see workers sanitizing after the customers are finished. When you arrive, there is a poster on the door saying how you can "sign in" onto the wait list (you'll have to give name, phone #, and address). You cant wait by the sidewalk, you have to wait in your car or walk around. It was really quick for me, I waited about 2 min though I went in around 3pm. Read the instructions carefully and do not go in prematurely! When they text you that you can come in, they scan your forehead and offer for you to sanitize. Everyone is seated about 6 feet away, basically one table per party. They have included house rules (picture posted). Unfortunately, special lunch prices aren't in effect at the moment, only full day dinner. Workers are very nice, wear their mask, and wouldn't let you wait too much. Finally, you only have an hour to dine in, which is reasonable. They also have new menu items too!! As for the food, their pork belly improved, or maybe I just missed the taste of kbbq and its been way too long. Tried beef tongue (was okay, tasted good w sauce), and pork cheek (reminded me of chichiron when crispy, you should try!). All the standard popular items that yelp shows, are all delicious. Came here on the weekend, overall, everything was super yummy! Included banchan: kim chee cucumber, chop chae, mac salad, and bean sprouts. All were very yummy and tasty! Positive: All meats that we ordered were soooo good, especially the seasoned kalbi. Of course we also did brisket, pork belly, steak, cow tongue. I wasn't paying attention to the pictures of meats on the wall bc I was too hungry; I should have because I wanted to try the baby octopus. Next time!!! The steak was super hard and chewy, therefore it was my least favorite! This was the first time I tried the miso paste along with my meats, and boy is it a game changer! I enjoyed it so much! The service was really good- the two guys were on top of it but the lack of variety won't get me to come back. ATMOSPHERE They offer seatings for different group sizes - they can accommodate small parties as well as big size parties. It's a pretty basic place however one thing different is they do offer pull down fans that you can situate above your grill to help with the smoke. SERVICE When you arrive, there's a QR outside of the doors. This will allow you to put your name on a waitlist. You are then asked to wait in your car until you get a text that your table is ready. This makes is convenient! When your name is called, you can enter the restaurant then at that time your host will walk you to your table. Their service is good! You will probably have no probably getting what you need as your server will check back periodically to see if you need anything! Fast and quick service. FOOD They offer two pricing - LUNCH MENU Adults $19.95, Child (under 10) $18.95 - DINNER MENU Adults $29.95, Child (under 10) $24.95. Some of our favorites include the brisket and garlic pork belly. Since this place has just opened, there was massive line out the door. There was at least an hour wait because this is the place to be!! We ordered the brisket, (MY FAVORITE), steak, beef tongue, and chicken. I love going with a big group because you make the other people do the cooking! The servers were excellent and continued to check up on us periodically over the time being there. The servers were also very friendly and made us feel welcomed. I was sad the next day because I woke up with an upset stomach and stomach cramps. 5 out of my 6 friends ended up with a stomach bug. I'm not sure how because we all cooked the meats well done. Overall, we won't let this ruin our experience. We love sikdorak and still will return in the future. Food was okay although small portions for a party of 5. We had wait a while multiple times to order more meat and they still ended up giving us the wrong items. The bad part is the Horrible customer service, slippery floors with grease all over, and the women's restroom had no toilet paper. We were never asked if we wanted any drinks, our flame kept dying out, the exhaust was so high up which made it basically useless. I would not recommend this place. Food was ok for ayce and similar to the other sikdorak, but we came after lunch and the place was empty, but service was still slow. I could see people in the kitchen in basketball shorts and slippers. They almost forgot our Korean pancake and the honeycomb garlic pork belly was falsely advertised (see photos) . We also noticed the floors were super slippery and was later warned by the waitress that every table's stove leaks oil "so watch your feet". Seems like a workplace and overall hazard. Great Korean BBQ option! I love that it is a local, family-owned business. There are a few locations, but this is the only one that I have been to. We came the first night of their reopening after being shut down for dine-in due to Covid-19. Because of this, they did not have their full menu which was quite disappointing for my first visit. They had no salad, lettuce wraps, daikon wraps, and only had kimchee and cucumbers on the table. For someone who doesn't eat rice, this was sad, but the deliciousness of the meats, the great service, and the company we came with made it worth it! Our favorite meats: Beef tongue, both bulgogis, brisket, and the garlic short ribs, and pork belly! The pork jowels were amazing also! It seems like the cuts of meat were high quality! We also love that it is BYOB! Can't wait to come back when they are a little more back to "normal"! read more

Tons of parking in Waimalu Shopping Center. Since the their grand opening, the wait times have lessened. Not sure if the air conditioning is working properly because the restaurant is a bit warm. You're lucky if you are seated by the door as there is a fan that may blow onto you. The size of the restaurant seems a bit cozy. Their menu is simple and small. The price is about average. Best time to come is right when they open!! They have a QR code to scan & sign in. Then you can either wait outside or in your car & they will send you a text message when your table is ready. The place is very spacious & clean. The music playlist they had were a lot of throwbacks which is always nice to hear. Our servers were quick & efficient w/ getting our orders, coming out w/ our meats & dishes, constantly checking on us if we needed anything, changing the grills before it got too burnt, & our server was really nice & even talked stories w/ us while helping us. Let me just say that normally my photos of my food are way better than what I have but the food is so good I couldn't wait. Conveniently located at Waimalu shopping center with tons of free parking. They do not accept reservations and you have to scan a barcode to check in when you arrive. Convenient you can see how many parties are ahead of you and how long everyone was waiting. Dinner is all you can eat yakiniku style where you cook your own food. Dinner is $29.95 a person and children are priced by a certain age bracket. The sides are pretty standard but change occasionally. Normal bean sprouts Mac salad kimchee cucumber and some times other options. My go to orders are the thin pork belly, garlic short ribs and brisket. You do only have an hour worth of time to order but you are able to stay longer than that. At first I thought that was too short of a time but I've been there dozens of times and never made it close to ordering for the whole hour lol. Smaller parties are seated with other parties since I don't think you can move the tables around. Still a lot of space between parties where it isn't uncomfortable. Service is always good. Seems like all younger kids working there and they are pretty on it. Always coming to take dirty dishes, bring more meat and change the grill tops. This is my favorite spot if we can find a sitter for the kids lol. We eat here like twice a month and I can't ever remember to take pics because I'm too busy stuffing my face lol read more

Food is amazing. A wide selection of good meats and the grills are pretty well kept. The sauces are also add the perfect amount of flavor that just makes everything amazing. I don't think I would've been as annoyed about the wait if I didn't see one of the servers constantly dancing/twerking instead of helping customers. Once we got our food everything was fine. Today, my husband and I decided to come here for dinner. We haven't been back since my last post. Today wish I walked in I was so happy to see that they had fans. Oh my goodness, life changing. The AC was cooler than before. My prayers were answered thank You Lord. The smoke wasn't to bad until new people were being seated. Here is what I observed. Their events were not placed near their food, the restaurant got very smoky. My only suggestion is to have your staff walk around and adjust peoples events. Some people don't have the common sense to understand that anything that has sauce on it will smoke out the place. I believe your employees know best and a quick adjustment to someone's fan can help prevent the smoke from circulating. I also have one last thing to mention on this last visit. The toilet seat. As I sat on the toilet seat, it shifted to the left, and my legs had touched the toilet. I can only imagine how many men had use that toilet prior to my leg. Touching it. My leg touch the front bowl. This has to be the worse managed restaurant I've ever attempted to eat at. On 4/26/22, my boss and I went for lunch and I was told by a male that we needed to sign in. We attempted to sign-in but the sign-in process said it required prof if vaccination, something I did not have on hand. I went back inside to inquired if this is applicable, she said no. She stated that I have to wait until they prepared a table and that I need to complete the sign in process. This restaurant had literally 2 people inside of the entire place. Every single table was clean and not occupied; now I know why. We waited outside for a minute and I went back inside to ask why are we waiting outside when your restaurant is empty? I said if we don't get sat soon, we'll be leaving, the male and female worker immediately responded "goodbye". Came here last night with a party of 3, it was around 10pm on a Saturday night and was suprisgly not that busy. I've been to this location about 4 times and I've always had to wait at least 15-20 minutes due to the crowd. Reasoning for the 3 stars is because of the inconsistency I continue to see in this place. I've been here a enough times to know that each time I come the cut of meat is incosistent as well as the portion sizes of the meat that's given. For some reaason the meat that Was served last night was cut very poorly and the pork belly was scored so weird that it would fall apart while cooking. Also I have to say the sides that they provide are also inconsistent, when looking over at other tables it's clear that not everyone is given the same sides, so if you want something you would have to ask if it's available. I continue to come back here because the $25 for AYCE Korean bbq is a good deal but I just wish the standard for the food were better. I also have to comment and say that the facility isn't that clean either, the floors are slippery due to grease and oil, you can feel it the air the minute you enter. I guess they try to help that issue out by placing as many non slip carpets everywhere. The bathroom can also get pretty dirty, there's only one bathroom shared by men and women and after a few drunk people use it, it can become unbearable to use. We've also had a reoccurring problem of their A/C vents leaking on top of us or sometimes even our food. The staff usually will come over with a long stick and wipe the A/C drippings. I'll leave this review on a good note by saying that, this place is in a good location with tons of parking and is good for big groups who have big appetites and love to eat Korean bbq or enjoy a few beers, also the price is one of the cheapest on the island compared to other AYCE places. read more

The girl looked at us very weird and asked if we signed up via whatever it says on the board outside. I have 2 things to say about this honestly. The board was VERY wordy and maybe make it a little more understandable AND if people walk in you should be able to put your name down via that website. The people after us were also confused and didn't have a iPhone or updated phone as it was a older gentlemen like a grandfather with his grandson. But anyway, we did as they asked and put our names on via that smart link. The wait was maybe 30ish minutes? We got seated and ordered our meats. The food was good, nothing extravagant. We waited a bit to get tended to. To the point our grill was pretty black and burnt until someone noticed and changed it and took our next order of food. Maybe we just got them on a very busy night. I honestly think the place needs to be cleaned. I felt like everything was just oily and greasy, including the floors. The floors were slippery to me. Hi-tech wait queue left us sitting in comfort in the a/c of the car. Even though we had a party of 8, they accommodated us, no problem. Sat down, friendly waiter hooked us up. Many places make you wait to order so you end up ordering huge amounts each time or you have periods with no food. The wait staff here is very attentive and watches for when your dishes are empty then continually bus the tables, asking if you want more. No need to worry about not having any food on your table. But, if you ever find yourself wanting something else, they put buttons on the tables to get a server to you. Well thought out and efficient. And the food...wow. So tasty and plentiful. It's obvious they want you to eat and get your money's worth. I was worried that 60 minutes wouldn't be enough time to get my fill. It ended up being about 15 more than I needed to gorge myself . If I could give no stars, I would. I try to avoid this location because service sucks. Kaneohe or Town are THE LOCATIONS to go to. But I went in on August 26, 2024 @ around 12:30pm, party of 4. It was slow. Only 4 tables but we still had a wait time. Regardless of party size the portions are ALWAYS SMALL. Server wasn't even checking up on us, it was awkward. I had to keep raising my hand or yell from across the room. We did notice her and this other guy just looking at us from a distance, talking and laughing. We expressed our concern to the server and she acted like she cared but went back and told the guy and started laughing. This is the first dine-in experience we've had since COVID started (10 months?). Read the other reviews which affirmed that Sikdorak's staff were serious about cleaning, etc. and they really were. We followed the check-in instructions and despite checking in a little before they opened at 11, we weren't seated until around 1130; we think the app might not have "seen" our reservation because it was before opening time when we checked in, so if you try to do that, just make sure you get a confirmation text, don't just trust! However once we were inside it was excellent! They took our temp and offered us hand sanitizer. Staff were super attentive and nice, wearing masks. They restaurant wasn't completely full but we were all socially distanced, and as much as possible diners were all facing one way to eat. House rules (wear mask etc) were clearly posted! The food was super 'ono and honestly $26 for AYCE is not a bad price nowadays. Our favorites were the thick pork belly, brisket, and beef tongue!
