Perfect hangover cure. The staff is always nice and service is quick, you probably won't be in here longer than an hour. Highly recommend the combo where you get the ramen and an appetizer. Noodles have a great chew, broth is nice and rich, and the spice level is very tolerable. Came for lunch because of the amazing deal they have. You can get a mini bowl of ramen, rice bowl, and a side (edamame or salad). They have a variety of ramen types and bowls you can get, I got the blaze ramen which is a spicy creamy pork broth with bean sprouts, spinach, green onion, seaweed, and seasoned egg. You get to pick your protein from pork, chicken, or tofu. My chicken karaage bowl was so tasty and I enjoyed it a lot. It has a japanese style fried chicken, teriyaki sauce, spicy aioli, green onion and red ginger over rice. The rice was cooked perfectly! Chicken karaage was nice and crispy and the sauce complimented it really well. For my side I got edamame which was steamed and salted. This deal is too good, and make me very full! Just a reminder that it is a lunch combo only happening Monday through Friday 12-2pm. Our server was very patient with us and we enjoyed our experience and delicious meal. This is fast becoming one of my favorite places to get Ramen in Long Beach, conveniently located in the Long Beach exchange center, which is close to the hanger that has other eateries plus an ice cream shop across the street Silverlake Ramen has a lot of menu items to offer. Of course there's Ramen, but there's also Poké bowls and Karaage chicken bowls. They're also appetizers as well. Services fast and easy there's outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Indoors is a little colder than I'd like it to be on a nice day outdoors is good to have your meal. read more

Took my boyfriend here as it was his first time trying this place out. We both ordered the combo, which was convenient because we were both looking to order a ramen and appetizer. He got the tonkotsu ramen with the creamy broccolini and I got the same, tonkotsu ramen with chicken karaage. We both enjoyed the broth. It was very frothy and flavorful with a good umami taste. We both liked how to has simple ingredients - seaweed, green, onions, bean sprouts, spinach, and my favorite was the egg, and his favorite was the pork belly - cooked just how he likes it, crispy/crunchy on the outside and tender with an easy bite. I really enjoyed the creaminess off the broccolini. My boyfriend enjoyed the sauce of the broccolini and I liked how it seemed to be a little pan friend so there's were crisp. We both agreed the chicken karaage was okay. Tasted just like a basic chicken karaage. The service was okay. We did sit outdoors so our server came by a few times. But we were waiting sometime because we wanted more water. I had to wave through the glass window to get our server's attention. This locations has a great ambiance. The seating felt disorganized. There was a long wait, which might've been due to the rainy day, but it was frustrating to watch smaller groups get prioritized. If you're in a party of more than 2-3 people, expect a longer wait. We even saw people who arrived after us get seated first. My ramen only came with one slice of pork, which isn't typical compared to other locations, and while the bowls look large, they're actually pretty shallow. On the positive side, the service was great. Our server was fast, attentive, and definitely a highlight. From the amazing service, to the always clean tables, and deliciously fresh food, I have to say there's no other place like this. I love getting the seasoned egg in the ramen. I usually tend to order the ramen combo because it's reasonably priced. Starting at $16, for +$4 you can get an appetizer to have some left overs. I ordered the classic ramen with chicken, while my colleague had the same but with pork and added corn. Overall, the ramen was just okay. The broth tasted a bit plain to me. I ordered chili paste to give it more flavor, but it still fell a little flat. It wasn't bad by any means, just not particularly memorable. That said, the servicer was friendly and efficient, which I appreciated. While it wouldn't be my first choice, I would be open to going back if invited. read more

My go to spot for lunch. Their options for lunch bowls are great. You can get small or large depending on your appetite. I always get their karaage or pork belly lunch with rice. If you want ramen they plenty of selections! The place isn't big but it flows well and people go in and out fast, so wait time is usually not long. This week I hadn't been feeling well and decided to order Shoyu on Fire and extra chicken pieces - medium level spice with everything, except the egg. The broth was fantastic - flavorful, spicy, and a depth that I could taste despite the onset of a cold. The following evening, I ordered more and doubled my order. It was disappointing to see that the second order did not include the portion of chili paste in either of the bowls. The chili paste adds more flavor and depth that I am accustomed to with rich ramen broth. It felt very disappointing to have this essential ingredient & flavor missing, especially due to how terrible I already felt. Delicious Curry Rice Bowl!! My boyfriend got the Large Curry Rice Bowl with Tofu, and I got the Regular Curry Rice Bowl with Chicken Karaage. We noticed the curry was darker than typical Japanese curry, but the taste is exactly the same! The curry did not have the typical potato and carrots, but it did have mushrooms which were delicious! We both thought the Chicken Karaage was better than the Tofu since the Tofu was not fried and was almost the same texture as the curry. The Chicken Karaage offers a crunchy texture to the curry! The Pickled Cucumbers were delicious, they look like they were made in the restaurant because I have never seen Pickled Cucumbers that look like that. The employees were great! They were very kind, they checked in on us a couple times, and they were very attentive of other customers. The restaurant is very clean! The table we were sat at was still a bit wet, but it was fine. We wiped it up. There was plenty of seating inside and outside! There were booths, indoor tables, and outdoor tables. There was a good amount of people there on a weekday in the afternoon. It wasn't too noisy or too quiet. I would come here again!
